Sakura: The random phrase of today is: I call upon the EVIL BUNNIES! And tomorrow?s randomly planned phrase is: To spork or not to spork that is the question, isn?t it?
InuYokai: It is? I thought: We are the only people in the universe, so let?s go kill inanimate objects was? *Looks around* We are the only ones here right?
Naomisan24: No, because I am here.
InuYokai: AH! The voice from nowhere! *Cowers behind Sakura*
Sakura: Really? I thought it was the person in my head? wait, if you can here it too? *attempts to think* Ah! The pain! ? I?m not crazy! *Jumps around on the couch* Not only me! Not only me!!!
Naomisan24: Err? Yes, sure? Ok, Today?s discussion involves ompheloskepsis!
InuYokai and Sakura: WTF?

Sakura: Step 3: Use the butter knives to take control of the entire world! MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! There, 3 steps.

Sakura: I did? Ok? Step 4: Give the all-powerful sporks half of the U.S., so they can use their sporkity magic to eliminate the idiots: Humans.
InuYokai: I thought you are a human.
Sakura: No, I?m a bunny. *Hops around the room* Now I?m a hippo!
InuYokai and Naomisan24: *Stares*
Sakura: Well, I?m really a Demoness like you InuYokai.
Naomisan24: Well, I?m a politician. You can?t kill me and my evil tricks!
Sakura: Step 5: Steal all of the rights to mangas and animes. And finally Step 6: Make it illegal to be omnivores. Power to the herbivores! And vegetarians.

Ah...not really. See, your stuff in this thread isn't really showing what life is. It's showing an exaggeration of life. This isn't verisimilitude by any stretch of the imagination. Verisimilitude is slice of life...Realism. Madame Bovary.

What you have here is...hyperactivity. There isn't logic in here. It's totally random, and despite what you may think, randomness isn't good.

I was inclined to not even begin to read your story because of the script format. The script format, I've found, leads to just...inane and idiotic dialogue. No attention to detail is required when using script form. You plop the name down and that's it. The dialogue is certainly not analyzed, thought about, considered even. It's just whatever comes to your head.

That theory is further strengthened by the following;

I don't mean to sound harsh, but I'm assuming you finished your homework in an hour, and if less than an hour, then 45 minutes. That means this scene was written in under 15 minutes, which I advise against. The short timespan shows. It's almost as if you threw whatever down onto paper.

I would pay close attention to technique in the next chapter. Don't write it in 10 minutes and think it's done, lol.

Well, I wrote them because I can't really express what I think is funny, me and my friends thought it was funny. But, technicly I didn't do that one in 15, I had started it the night before, and all I really did today was edit it. (Or was is yesterday? lol)

In truth me and my friends do act like that, Like I said, "Inspired by e-mails, pms, and conversations with friends." Ehem. I admit though, I did stretch Naomisan24 a little, and InuYokai. But Sakura (me), and SunnyBunny7 are almost completly real (just a bit on the I'm a bunny thing.). Infact one of the little conversations was on walking-talkies, with a differnt friend who was mimking them. It was funny. But the only thing I really did was do what I would do if this wasn't mostly at school. But "The Room" is my bed room, and the stage is the porch. Which we can't really go to now 'cause there are 5 inches of snow currently on my porch, There was 3 inches yesterday from the last snow fall. And th end of chapter two, was actually based on anime chars. my friends think are funny/cool/ect...
But yes, this is kinda pointless, But it's humorus, and I'm not good at writing humor. So, I was amazed at how well, this came out.

I'm not going to get drawn into this, because it really isn't worth my time and effort, but stories inspired by IM, PM, email, etc--digital formats that are often plagued by poor grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and tone--more often than not demonstrate the same poor quality of the internet inspiration.

In fact, I'm very inclined to believe that the "story" is nothing more than copy and pastes of IMs. This is really what belongs in your signature, and an abridged form of it, too. Just put tiny excerpts in.

EDIT INSERT: Also, I have only read one Linguistics article in which a professor encouraged and used AIMSpeak. That should tell you something.

My suspicions are strengthened upon reading the names and the format in the previous posts. Ryu, c'mon. We know you just copied and pasted a chat room, or at least an IM. The format is too similar for it not to be. The screennames are too obvious for it not to be. The grammar, the hyperactive and random roleplaying inserts...c'mon.
