Shinmaru Posted January 27, 2004 Share Posted January 27, 2004 Well, of the avatars, #2 is my favorite. #1 is a bit blurry because of the effect you used and #3 seems too crowded...plus, I just love the expression on your face in #2 lol. The banner was a tougher choice, though. Like you said to me, while #4 better conveys the LAN crowds, #3 shows off the gaming screens better and there is more gaming going on. After all, you want people to stick around so that you can beat their brains in, not scare them off first thing. ~_^ #2, dude. Go for #2. Now, as far as banners? I like #1. Very...smooth, I believe is the way I see it. Fluid. If it wasn't for the brown background in #2, I would've said to go with that one. As for a banner.... if you were to choose avi #1, then banner #1 would suit it best (in my humble opinion). But in any other case, I'd say that banner #... Actually... it'd be really cool if you made it animated, so it started with #2 and eases into the remaining two. However, if I must decide on these horrid, non-bordered banners and avatars.. Avatar number 2 because the expression on your face is hilarious, and the image is the best of the three, without a doubt. It is also much better positioned than the others. I would have to go for banner number four. It seems to show a lot more people than banner number three, and it is just amusing... rather like an entire classroom gathered around two consoles. The very idea of having so many people crammed into one room playing games is just... grin inducing. Avatar 2 and Banner 4, Please choose those, Oh you must, For sure! My current 2001 banner has no border at all, and it looks beautiful. Avatar #1 is cool; it's like a picture gone matrix. Also, banner #3 shows good footageon the TV screens. I can see the games they're playing; and they're cool.
