Art New and Improved Banner

[size=1]I'v been fooling around and testing alot of things out in Paint Shop Pro 7 and I think i'm finally starting get the hang of making banners (except for getting good font because PSP sucks at font).

These are just a few banners of Billy Boyd I made recently. The first one is just random and the second one I might put in my sig to go along with my thing against Cattitude x_x (Note: I didn't make the banner that in my sig. right now)

Please give me as many tips as you can for improving my banners.

[size=1][color=chocolate]I think these banners are pretty great actually. I'd say the font does go with the banners though; I really don't have a problem with that.
I really have no problems with these banners at all really. For the second one I like how you didn't make it a plain old rectangle and used different shapes and breaking it apart a little.
But I see you like tiny banners, eh?[/size][/color]

[size=1]^^ Thanks Wasabi. The reason I didn't have any cut-outs for the first one was because I might make a site and If I made a cut out someone with Black as the BG wouldn't be able to use it, but I like cut outs better, there more fun to make and I think they just look alot cooler.

Yeah, I'v had this thing for small banners lately for some reason, I just think they look... Cute :sweat:

Here are two more that will work with Black BGs. The second one was made about two weeks ago, so it doesn't look that great, but i thought it seemed ok... I made the first one today.[/size]

You sure are having a blast with the polygon technique, I can see :) And since when did teh KKCness go from asking for banners to making them, hmm? XD

The first is amusing since it has that silly quote, but is not as exciting as the other three since it doesn't have the nifty shape the others have gained :<

The second one is the shiznit since it is very jagged and cool and transparent :) No need changin' that beast.

The last two are cool with their designs, but the nifty outlines aren't gonna show on the white background :) But that's nothing big.

Well, While I was requesting banners I was practicing so that I wouldn't have to request any more ;)

Here is another I just did... I don't really like the text or the cut outs too much, but I like the Green BG, the quote, and of course the picture ^.^
