Art Megaman X wallpaper (WIP)

Here is a smaller rendition (800x600) of a Megaman X Wallpaper I have been working on. It's not 100% finished and there are still some things that I have to finalize but I think it's coming along "just dandy" right now. Really i'm just tweaking the lines in the background and working on the dispersed aura that MMX is giving off. I also just did that red X now it was originalyl a gray-white and i'm not sure if I like it so if you could post your opinions on that i'd greatly appreciate it. Any other ideas/suggestions are also appreciated as i'm not exactly sure what else I want to add to this wallpaper.

I like the simplicity of it. I don't really like how the boxes are somewhat faded , or light I guess you could say. The image in that second box looks strange, like you resized it. I like the idea of "Megaman" being white while the "X" is red, and the font you used for that looks great. The font below it I don't care for though. The aura looks good but I think it needs more "oomf", or however you say that. o_O Maybe try starting it dark then lightening it to blend with the rest of the background.

Hmmm well in the resize of the image the small text got shrunk so much that it came out kind of blurry as for the image in the middle box that's the way the stock image was =\. I could try yo replace it but there aren't that many images thatwould have taht same dramatic feel x___X. As for the aura before I had it all wavy and what not but I really didn't like the feel I might go for a thinner more concentrated aura though with a few long wisps here and there though =O. But thanks for the comment 1/8 is pretty good :P

As it is right now, I actually like it. Wallpapers aren't supposed to be busy at all which is why the simplicity of this one is absolutely perfect for it's purpose.

The X that you changed into red...that was a nice touch actually. It gives the wp some balance by tying all the images together through a color that appears in every single one of the images you use. On my screen, though the X looks more of a reddish orangey color...a little too bright, er...slighly neon, I guess? I would actually like to see how it would look with a darker shade of red. Other than that, I think it was a great choice to change the color of the X. If you had left it grey-white, it would have been too bland, so excellent decision!
