Me? I don't like coffee. Or tea. Why? I don't know, being 16, everyone else is drinking them by now. But not me. I think the reason being is because I 'objected' to the fact that 11 year old kids were drinking coffee and talking about how much they like places like Starbucks. I just found it irattating, because many of them I'm sure where just trying to be 'adults'.
I gotta agree with you there. I'm 18 and I've only been drinking coffee a couple years. It can be pretty bad for you inexcess, so I don't know why kids want to start on it so young. I think a lot of kids drink it because coffee has a cult following; it's almost like heroin for some of my friends. Scary... :nervous:

But tea is actually quite good for you! Green tea is the best, with many great health benefits.

I've only tried coffee once, but I certainly wasn't impressed. first I tried it with barely any sugar or cream, and it tasted horrible. but as I kept adding sugar and cream to it, it ended up tasting horrible and increasingly unappetizingly sweet at the same time. one of my friends said at first she didn't like coffee either, but after about the fifth or sixth time drinking it, she got used to it. why would you want to get used to something that tastes bad to begin with, when you could just drink something else? the fact that you have to add, oh, *ten cups of sugar and cream to it (would you like some coffee with that?) should tell ya something right there, I would think. *sarcasm*

Bleh. Coffee; the smell, taste...I don't like it.

It's just worse that my mom drinks it every morning and brings it in the car to take me to school. I never did like it either; no matter with lots of sugar and cream, or just plain pitch black I don't like coffee.

What about... coffee CANDY?!

Yeah, that's right...CANDY! No one even THOUGHT of candy!

You can get the caffienated or non-caffeinated varieties. Which would YOU prefer? Me myself, I don't see a point unless it's caffeinated...

I love coffee, but I would never drink it plain. I have to have cream or coffee-mate in it, not to mention about 3 or four teaspoons of sugar. I also love the smell of coffee, especially when you first open the can.

As for my favourite kinds... I like the english toffee cappichino, the one you can get at Tim Hortons, a restuarant in Canada. My city has the most locations in Canada, so we're called the "Tim Hortons city" You can find a Tim Hortons about every block. They're very easy to find, and if you miss it while driving , just keep driving for a minute and you'll get to another one. There's that many...

mmm...coffe candy. We get this kind of coffee candy called kopiko. It's yum! Next best thing if you can't carry a coffee round with you. Me and my friends are thinking of putting a petition into school at the head office to have coffee available to students, not just the teachers.

Thing is, you'd all crash at the same time...! What if all the students drank coffee at a certain time in the morning, then you all crashed instantaneously?

Goddess, this is the most I've babbled on a thread since 1776. Back in the day... *blah, blah, blah* :babble:

JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa JaVa, MoRe JaVa PlEaSE!!!
I can not believe that no one has quoted George of The Jungle, yet! That has got to be the best quote for coffee lovers.
I love coffee iced and for its flavor more then the colt, but my sister and mother are JaVa nuts. They have to have their coffee or they are unbearable to be with.
I also enjoy a good shot of Kahlua (coffee lacquer) mmmm, sure will warm you up.
I go and get coffee from Starbuck?s (Iced Caffè Mocha and Iced White Chocolate Mocha) all time and there is this local place named Kristofis that makes good coffee. When I go to see my sister (in Killeen) we go to a little place called the Java Hut to get good coffee.
As far as what to try I say to avoid anything dark roasted, they are usually a little bitterer then light roasted. Try Kona or Peruvian they got good flavor.

I love coffee! I started really getting into it in college. Late night study groups at the local coffee house. I swear, I should have just put an IV in with coffee!!

Black with sugar or any "fancy" coffee. I love Starbucks....I could just live there. Mocha! Mocha! Mocha!
