[size=1]Does anyone like the classic English band, I think they are English at least. But anyways, does anyone like them. And also what songs do you like and why. My personal favorite is The Wall because I love hearing all the British kids scream "All and All its just Another Brick in The Wall," lol. But yea so who likes them?[/size]

I'm more of the classic Doors fan though.

I love the move "The Wall" that goes along with the album. The meanings behind all their songs really come out in the movie. My fav part is when they find him in the room all strung out and he starts to fall apart (change) while they are taking him to the car. Man that song really rocks.

My dad used to listen to pink floyd and i think they were ok. Not my cup of tea thought.

I love Pink Floyd! One of my favourite bands! My favourite song has to be "Wish You Were Here". I just love the imagery used and the way the song is sung... Perfection. Actually, the Wish You Were Here album is also one of my favourite. Especially "Shine On You Crazy Diamond Part 1".

[color=hotpink][size=1]I'd have to say "Wish You Were Here" is my favorite song as well. When I listen to it, I feel like I'm going to cry. I'm a big wimp like that.

I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, and I'll always remember one night at dinner we were listening to our stereo and my dad was so wasted and he was singing "Money" at the top of his lungs and me and my sisters were just kind of sitting there staring. It was great.

I'd have to say [i]Dark Side of the Moon[/i] is the absolute best album, though.[/color][/size]

I love Pink Floyd, but I like their older stuff with Syd Barrett the best. Syd Barrett was an amazing song writer, and his influence in the early Pink Floyd music really added something. My favorite album is their first, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
