Taka awoke in sweat. Her body shivering from torment. The sheets of the bed were wrapped around her bare body and it felt like she was choking. Getting up Taka got dressed, staggering to the floor she fell. His pain was so much more stronger now than it had ever been. Looking at Kanda Taka touched the Stallions face and embraced his wings. Taking up her sword Taka looked for a quiet room so that she could think.

Taka- If I just swing my sword...If I just forget all about this pain...I can clear my head.

Taka walked into an empty cabin and placed her feet in backward stance. Raising the sword she swung it high and gracefully practiced strokes on where she intended to attack her imaginary foe. Faster she swung the sword her thoughts becoming less painful and more understandable. Aris walked by the cabin and watched in awe. The elf looked beautiful swing her silver sword with ease it almost looked like a dance. She was so gracefull but one swipe with her Mani Katti could mean death. Walking in he saw her shoulders relax and Aris put his arms with hers. Together they swung her sword in motion...A bond all their own. helping Taka swing Aris took in her breath and the smell of her hair. he felt her body race with each swing and each movement.When Taka was finished she looked at Aris a smile that could not hide her true anguish.

Aris- You...Saved me did'nt you.

Taka- I did what I could do.

Aris- No...Not the wounds. But the Pain, The dreams, the turmoil

Taka looked at Aris and raised her sword.

Taka- If I just swing my sword my head will clear.

Aris seeing Taka was doing this for him held her arms and gripped the Mani Katti, closing his fingers around Taka's shaking hands.

Aris- Let me swing with you...I long for comfort...I long for My head to clear.

Taka realxed and turned toward Aris her body becoming frail in his arms. His face was so close to hers that she could not help what she felt. Dropping the Mani Katti to the floor Taka kissed Aris. She felt his arms and gripped his back hoping that he would return her love some day. When Taka's lips left Aris she again picked up her sword.

Aris- You will stay and fight with me...Do you care that much?

Taka- I said I would share your pain. I meant it. Every night I see your pain and I share it, I console it I will even take it. Please...I am here for you...I...

Aris looked at the elf hushing her lips and guiding her with the sword.

Taka- If I just swing my sword....
Aris-I can clear my head...

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Aris smiled guiltily, bringing out his whip. Plated with silver, and tipped with razors made of the same stuff, the weapons made Taka gasp in awe.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]It is not deadly to me while I am in Drow form. But it is deadly to vampires and other werewolves. It was given to me by a dying man, a man who said I reminded him of himself when he was a boy.

[b]Taka:[/b]It is a wonderful whip. Can you...show me? To help...clear your head?

[i]Aris cracked the deadly weapon through the air, slicing it like a hot knife through hotter butter. Aris flowed the movements with his being, drawing symbols, slicing designs. The whip cracked and sparked, lashing the wall of the room. Aris seemed to be following a certain pattern, dancing with his fiery intensity. The whip, taka knew, was an extension of Aris. She felt rather than saw that Aris could kill with it, or lash gently, not even stinging his "target". Her eyes grew wide as she realized what Aris was lashing into the wooden wall. An image....an engraving of taka, Serenity, and Neshaia. The three most important women to Aris in one engraving. It was perfectly done, with nobody in front. Aris then turned his stare to Taka, arcing his whip around her and drawing her nearer to him. The whip did no even so much as scratch her. he cried silently, not from grief or happiness. But from the pure fact that his whip was what he lived by.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]I wish I could have been a fisherman.

[b]Taka:[/b]No, you don't. I saw you get seasick earlier.

[b]Aris:[/b]......

[i]Both of them laughed, Aris smiling and walking towards his cabin. Taka let him go, holding onto the bandanna she had "stolen" from his back pocket. She tied it around her wrist, kissed it, and walked back to her pegasus. Her mind was unbelievably clear......[/i]

[i]Aris stepped into the room he and Serenity had shared. He walked over to that portrait of her that he kept with him. His tears did not fall. His sobs did not come. An emptiness filled him as he kissed her portrait. He looked to Heaven, an odd peace filling him.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]Mother Neshaia....please care for her. Please show her that I will always love her.

[i]He pulled out a small ring, a blue diamond atop it, and kissed it once before placing it on the portrait.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]Serenity.....I would have asked you to marry me. I loved you that much. Now, Taka is easing my pain and saving my life. She....loves me. And I love her....yet I want to be with you. What am I to do? I do not want to lose your memory....but I love Taka....what can I do?

[i]He climbed into his bed, sleeping alone for the first time since he was fourteen, and quickly began his dreams of running through the forest after an unseen girl that seemed to elude him....

He had no way of knowing Serenity was standing over him, crying again and again that she would marry him. Aris slept on, and Serenity cried on. She snuggled into his arms, kissing his lips. Aris sighed in his dreams, giving up on his quarry....[/i][/color]

[color=indigo] [i]Serenity hurt, yett angred. How coul be love again so fat, and he loved whileshe was here. How could his lips that were so logn hers belong to someone else, and they had shared kisses while she was awake. He was no diffrent than before..his love was noth ers.. she thought he loathed her.. She tore from the room, breaking the spells she had cast, the instant she broek them she hit the door, in that instant Aris felt her reappear in this world and he awoke to see the barest wisp ofher hair streaked behind her as she ran from the room.

He sat up and bolted after her.

Serenity's mind raced as she made for this time, the highest deck.
she looked up the the heavens screaming for Xvirran to take her away, take her from this pain, she could not follow a man that did not love her, and if he loved her hips lips and heart would not belong to another. even before he toght her dead he was with her in her arms. After all she had done, she ocne took his pain like that whore did now. It was her fualt. Serenity's eyes flashed a deep crimson. It was her..not Serenityss fualt... Serenity had never been disloyal she had never even thought another cute or attractive but him, and he has the nerve to kiss her! how dare he.

Serenity turned to see Aris, staring her in the eyes.[/i]

[b]Serenity:[/b] Why do you hate me so?

[i] With that she re-bound her spells and vanished from Ari's life once again. Serenity made her way to Taka's room, where her pegasus was. Taking out a small blade she stroly consideredk illing the handsome pegasus. Maby... She slipped out the blade and in one long stride cut the hair of the stallion. a verry dishonorable act, Taka would surelyk now this. Serenity's anger flared and she continued to hack away at the Mane and tail of the animal. Then she took to traceking a small message in blood in the fur upon Kanda's back.[/color]

[color=indigo]Aris stood, dumbfounded on the deck. He had heard Serenity's thoughts. Clear as a bell. He heard and felt them, and for knowing he was wrong, knowing he should have never hurt Serenity. HE vowed then and there never to touch Taka in that way. Now that he new Serenity's game. She was alive. And in pain... great pain he had caused. Aris cursed himself for being so blind to his love.

Far below deck.

Taka Screamed.

Aris, hearing the scream raced to her.[/color][/i]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Aris saw the scene before him, and an unsharable pain and ager welled up within him. Serenity reappeared, the blood still coating her hand. Aris instantly shifted into his Hybrid form, Serenity growing curious. Aris held the crying elf, Taka, to his body, telling her she would be hurt one final time. But not by his choosing Serenity. Taka looked hopeful.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]This is it. I must take this. I can cause no more pain and survive. I have made my final choice.

[i]He drew his klaive, holding it above his head, facing Serenity. Taka gasped. He was going to murder Serenity!

The blade flashed once, Serenity screamed......and Aris collapsed to the deck in two pieces. Or rather, two beings.

The original Aris, if he could be called such, embraced Serenity. He had not changed in appearance, except his scars were completely gone.

But another Aris, one much lighter in nature and color, was holding Taka. Both were still lycanthropes....just different.

The darker Aris, the Serenity was holding, held the whip. his face seemed much darker, not in appearance, but in spirit. as if he was spiteful of his other half that had been severed.

The lighter Aris stood, holding taka. She was crying, and he cooed lightly. His hair was silver, and his eyes emerald. His clothing was exactly opposite that of Aris' in color and style, preferring no shirt at all and a pair of grey, not black, jeans. In his hands was a large sword, very large. It was white metal, inlaid with a golden dragon along the back. White-Aris stood, adressing everyone in the room.[/i]

[b]White-Aris:[/b]My name is not Aris. It is Sira. I am as well a Drow. I, and Aris, are no longer wereWOLVES, but wereTIGERS. I am a white tiger. I am more genial and kind in nature. He is...my dynamic half. We have seperated so that we can cease hurting you. No, Serenity, Aris is not evil. He just hates me. Once I am gone from this room with Taka, he shall be as loving and caring for you as ever. But one day....we shall merge again. And we shall hurt somebody.....now, orange tiger, be GONE!!!!

[i]Aris cracked his whip at Sira, lashing a laceration into the weretiger's face. Aris morphed into his tiger form, his now-orange body rippling with muscles.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]One day, Sira, you and I shall find who is the stronger and faster. One day soon. Serenity....I am sorry. We must endure this punishment until I have atoned for my sins against you. I never ceased loving you. I never loved her. The half of me that was WEAK loved her. And now, as you see, he is gone. Let us go...[/color]

Taka pulled out the stave and ran her fingers over the pegaus's back. She looked at the man who claimed to Aris and sighed.

Taka- I am not worthy to fight alongside of you....I am merely a consolation prize for your pain. I feel that it is my time to go.

White-Aris- Are you really going to go?


Taka wanted to embrace Aris but she shook her head. Placing her hands on the Pegaus's mighty wings she climbed upon his back.

Taka- I'll meet you on mainland....But I will be different from who you see now. I will be stronger. You should have never done what you just did. Changing who you are....I underatnd that you were looking for consolement in me. NOt a lover. I feel angered, Hatered even. Remeber I was always love you unrequited love.

White Aris smiled trying to look understanding but still he did really understand what Taka was saying. Reaching out to touch her Aris was not ready for what she did next. Before Aris's hands to touch Taka's body her sword was at his neck. Her eyes were a bright red her flaming her hair elevating around her.

Taka- you have forsaken me. The love from a true elf should never be questioned. Not like the Half-breed who you so dearly love. You're weaker half loved me! And you think I would be satisfied with your body torn in half? Saying the weaker half loved me! You are sadly mistaken....I am Taka the warrior elf...Out of honor I will not defile this boat with her scarlet blood..But remeber this she shall never walk amongst or with me as an equal.

White Aris tried to move towards Taka but her eyes were still burining with intensity. This was the true form of a warrioe elf. If he could just provoke her he woouls see her full powers. Whit Aris remebered the tale that was told to him about this elf. The one that caused many deaths. She was powerful....Very powerful.

White Aris started to walk to Taka consoling her as he watched her rage continue. Taka's body became engulfed in a flame of fire and Aris noticed that the boat had begun to shift and toss widely. Glancing out onto the ocean he saw what was happining. A large storm was coming large bolts of lighting were danicing upon the water and the thunder that could awaken the dead was souding.

Taka- I am no longer who you wish for...I am...A warrior...My family died...I am Taka.

Just then a familar face came running into the room. Grabbing Taka's body he fell to the floor.

Rin-Taka stop! Remeber the fights we had? Mercernary's Remember? This is not you please you will kill someoen out here! Please stop Taka!

Taka's eyes for brief moment cascaded back to being her beutiful torquoise. But instantly turning the dark blood-red again.

Taka- You....Unhand me!

Rin fell back and his his head against a barrel filled with salt.
Aris continued to watch Taka her rage unfolding. Serenity glancing at the fallen Rin walked up to the two Aris who were both standing in awe.

Serenity-She has power like that of god's. I must stop her....

Serenity tried to make a binding spell saying chant after chant but Taka was already on the move.

Taka- You dishonered yourself. You touched the wing horse with a vengeful heart. I am no longer keepin that promise I made vby not hurting you! Half-elf begone!

Serenity flew in the air almost touching the ground before being caught by the watchful Dark Aris.

The Dark Aris knew her powers were only rising not weakinging but he still felt like he had to do something. Glanicing at the Whit Aris his face full of shame.He did not want to ask his half for help but they would need it...

Dark Aris- We can't kill but we can bring her down. I hate to fight an elf.

Taka- You.....Disgust me! A battle with you...You dishonuered me! Your wench disgraced Kanda...I have no intention of holding back.

Both Aris's looked at the elf feeling her rage that was engulfing them.

Botht thinking- Neshaia what have you done? Sending me two? I am your servent but now I question my faith. and what is with Rin? How is he and Taka related?

OOC: It's about time Anya showed herself...
[color=gray]Anya had stayed there against the sails all night and all day, never removing her hiding enchantment. The dragon never made any obvious sign that it had noticed her, so she didn't worry.
She had heard the screams from below deck, where Serenity, Aris and the dragon had fought and such.
Anya had also heard when Aris had split in two, and felt the two opposite energies flowing through the air.
She decided to hop down and investigate.
She leapt off the sails, landing silently on deck. She briskly walked down to the end of the ship where the energies were coming from.
As Anya reached the door, another form of energy knocked her back. It was of elvenkind.
An Elf Warrior...
The girl Taka...
[i]What supreme power...yet it means to harm...[/i] Anya thought to herself, [i]the one Aris...his halves must surely solve their desputes with one another, or they do not hope to defeat her.[/i]
Anya picked herself up and muttered a few Elvish words of healing enchantment. She was energised.
Drawing her rapier, Anya turned the doorknob and entered the room.
"You.....Disgust me! A battle with you...You dishonoured me! Your wench disgraced Kanda...I have no intention of holding back." Taka spat, bringing her sword up, preparing to strike.
"Lady Taka, stop this insanity immediately!" called Anya.
All heads turned towards the figure in the doorway.
"Who in the God's names are you?" questioned Serenity.
"Shut it, wench! I'm asking questions here!" snapped Taka.
Anya rolled her eyes. Cat-fight...
"Look, let's just say...I'm a passerby," she answered.
"I don't care who you are! You shall not stop me from purging my kind of sickenning halfbreeds!" screamed Taka, readying her sword once more, her hair was waving around in the air about her head.
[i]What energy...she truly is a Warrior Elf...[/i] Anya thought.
All in the room seemed to shut Anya out of their minds completely as Taka screamed in warrior fury.[/color]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Sira and Aris looked to each other, shiging and grasping each other's right hands, blood from a knife wound to each palm flowing between them. They knew what they needed to do.[/i]

[b]Aris and Sira:[/b]By the blood of the gods, blood of the love and power, and blood of the Holy Trinity Balance of Life, Progress, and Balance, our blood, we hold our oath! Our life's blood is spilled to fulfill that which shall save a soul from damnation! Neshaia, mother, SAVE THIS FALLING ONE FROM FIRAND, GODDESS OF THE BALANCE'S END!!!

[i]A white beam descended upon Taka, ceasing her spells and laying her peaceful. Neshaia held her, crooning over her.[/i]

[b]Neshaia:[/b]Child, what is wrong? My son tells you he loves you, and you use your elven powers against him, drive him away.

[b]Taka:[/b]But he does not love me!

[b]Neshaia:[/b]He does, child, he does. More than you shall ever know. His heart, and thus his body, are seperated. He loves you with his pure, innocent half. He loves Serenity with his arrogant, life-is-mine-so-let-me-live-it half. But he will always love you. But by spilling his halves' blood and fusing it, they have made a monumental choice. A choice that may well kill them both.

[b]Serenity:[/b]Great Neshaia....forgive me my selfishness. But Aris...he is....he has been with me for four years! If I cannot be with him....I....

[b]Neshaia, Aris, and Sira:[/b]Calm, Serenity.

[b]Aris:[/b]Come with me, Serenity. Come to my cabin. There is something Sira and I have agreed upon.....in blood.

[i]Sira kissed Taka, with love, just once. He held her as she wept, and as Rin grew jealous in a corner.[/i]

[b]Taka:[/b]Aris....I.....I love you. But we...we cannot. You love her, don't you?

[i]Sira simply nodded, tears flowing freely down his face. He lay Taka in her bed and began scrubbing Kanda's fur free of Serenity's blood.[/i]

[i]Aris led Serenity into his room, pulling her into his arms and kissing her deeply. He reached to his dresser top and grabbed the small ring. He pulled it before Serenity.[/i]

[b]Aris:[/b]Serenity Half-elven....would you be my bride? I swear, you are the only woman I shall ever, ever need. Or want. Or have.

[i]Serenity just teared up, nodding and throwing her arms around Aris' neck. Aris barely had time to blush as Serenity grinned mischievously at him...[/i][/color]

[font=gothic][color=indigo]OOC: For once, can't we do an rpg that doesn't read like a bad soap opera...I mean, really people.

IC: [i]Hearing the commotion, Xvirran sighed, and walked out of the cabin he'd sequestered himself in since the last fiasco. This was really getting tiring. Interestingly enough though, the skulker who'd been around for a while was involved, though probably not the cause. Xvirran was fairly certain he knew exactly what the hell the problem was this time.

He walked in in time to see Neshaia turn up, a rather surprising experience, though not exactly as overwhelming as it tended to be for other mortals. Dragons had deities of their own, after all. He stepped aside as Serenity and Aris walked out, rolling his eyes and rumbling low in his throat.

Scanning the room, Xvirran decided it was a damn good thing he hadn't walked in a few minutes earlier, given his fast fading tolerance with mammalian idiocy. A few breaths of a debilitating acid compound probably would have solved the trick, in his opinion. And he wasn't sure of the identity of some of the people here anyway, so it didn't hurt to be certain. Ascertaining no immediate threat, he turned to the nearest curio.[/i]

Xvirran: While I'm sure staying hidden for several days was most enjoyable, not to mention effective at keeping you uninvolved in the rather pathetic foibles of these disparate creatures, I must admit I am curious as to any other reasons involved with the choice.

[i]She merely shrugged, and he let it go. The other one wasn't his concern, and the remaining two weren't worth talking to. In fact, to hell with this.

Xvirran stalked out, seeking the ship's carpenter. Borrowing several stout beams and long nails, he returned to his cabin, barring the door securely. On top of that, he moved the heavy sea chest, previously bolted in place, in front of the door, and nailed it in place too. Xvirran was becoming quite tired of these elvish disputes, or whoever was involved at the time. All he knew was that when it came right down to it, the idea of eating them all was becoming rather attractive. He hadn't yet regretted coming along, it was occasionally interesting watching the constant sparring between them, but they were decidedly foreign. Almost completely incomprehensible, unless you remembered to leave logic out of the analysis.

Xvirran sprawled out on the cabin floor, the bed being small and uncomfortable, and went into the deep sleep of dragons, which normally lasted years. He knew the voyage would end in a day or so, but remaining completely oblivious until then definately had its advantages.[/font][/color][/i]

Taka knowing that her love would never ever return to her she left the deck. Looking at Kanda with sincere tear filled eyes she glanced to left. Rin who was still sitting on the floor his hair messily tossed to the left of his face looked at Taka.

Taka- You...I don't remember you at all...Who are you? Why do you insist that we know each other?

Rin dusted his pants off and casulaly strolled up to Taka smiling the whole way.

Rin- I was jealous of Aris at one time. He made things so complicated. I joined up with a mercernary group, to kill him. You were there. We fought side by side sword with sword. Now it seems I am again jealous of our hero.

Rin shook his head and motined for Taka to follow him. Taka a little perplexed by Rin's demeanor followed the young man down to the cargo hold.

Rin- My guitar is down here. Uh....Mind if I play?

Taka glared at Rin and shrugged her shoulders.

Taka- Do what you will.

Rin started to play a melody that Taka knew so well. It was almost a peek into the past. Taka bent her head a small tear dripping down her face. As the chords progressed Taka leaned into Rin remembering all the fights they had shared. He was the only human that had ever stepped in her home. The forest of Naertania. Taka looked at Rin her face solum and full of pain.

Taka- You...were there when they attacked wernt you? You saved my family...And lost your own. What were my fathers last words....?

Rin laid the guitar down and touched the elf on her scar.

Rin- Your fathers last word were...Keep her safe,protect her from the evil that is buried within her blood,Protect my Ishtar.

Taka looked at Rin her body becoming limp. Her shoulders heaved as tears of turmoil washed down her face. Rin saw the pain and remembered what her father said. Her face and body was so innocent he could not help himself as her reached out and began to hold her. It was at this time that Sira noticed that Taka was gone. He had finished cleaning Kanda and looked to find Taka. He knew that joining up with Aris would be painful but there was one more thing he had to do...If he had to join with Aris again. Sira had to love Taka...Like a man should. If only he could find her. Passsing the room where Serenity had gone he noticed Aris standing near the bow of the boat.

Aris- So where are you headed?

Sira- To find Taka....She has so much pain.

Aris- We love her but Serenity is more important.

Aris- There is someone more suited for Taka aboard this ship. If only he would just admit his feelings things would move more calmly.

Sira- Your talking about Rin arnt you? Their bond is so....intimate. There is something Rin has not told us.

Sira- I have to find Taka...

Aris- Be careful..You and I..I mean we have caused much trouble. She may be fragile on the outside but there is a powerful force underneath her. Something that could kill us both.

Sira huffed at Aris and noticed that Aris was whisteling.

Sira- Damn He gave her the ring already...I still must love Taka before I go. I owe her that much.

Sira walked across the deck looking for Taka. Finally he started to walk down to the cargo hold. Stepping lightly he heard rustling coming from a room. Peering in he saw Rin with his back alonside the side of the boat with Taka curled up on his legs, her arms grabbing his waist. Sira enraged looked at Rin.

Sira- You...I have caused trouble...I have caused her great pain but I...still Love her!

Rin shook his head looking at the angered Sira and calmly replied.

Rin- Her pain right now is not of yours. Though Yes...You have caused the elf great torment you have no idea of the pain she is bearing right now. On top of that you annouced that you love her but can't be with her. I was there....

Sira- What do you mean there? What do you mean? Tell me!

Rin- I was there when Firand killed her father. Do you know who her father was? Do even have a clue? He was the great elf...The maker of rain. The thunder god. His family...They tried to save evryone by sacrificing themselves. They stood up to Firand...Fought bravely, died.....Bravely. I protected her...I saw her pain berfore you even knew her. My family died protecting the elves. Her pain and hatered her turmoil and frustration is only mutually shared with me. I...Think you should leave...You caused enough damage.

Sira was outraged at the comment made by Rin. He walked up to him his whip inches from Rin's face. Looking down he glanced at Taka who was sleeping soundly. For the first time Sira felt regret.

Sira- She is happy?

Rin- No she is at peace right now. Beware though...That power within her is ages old. It has the likeness of god's...That power almost killed her...

Sira- I should Take my leave. Rin I am not giving her away...I am only letting her find peace until I can love her like she should be. If I find that, That right has been stripped form me...after this ordeal you and I will be enemy's.

Sira walked out onto the deck his eyes catching the stare of Aris's. Aris smiled calmy and walked up to Sira.

Aris- I told you...Someone was more suited for her than we...
Sira- So...Taka, before I leave this relm as Sira, I will have you...Beacuse You deserve that much.

Down in the cargo hold Taka still slept her hands tugging the back of Rin's shirt. Rin stroked her back and saw the other scar that many had never laid eyes on.

Rin- They did that to you Taka...They will pay. For my family and for yours..I promised you father that...I can't back down.
