Ben
When I was younger, I had chicken pox, too. I itched and scratched and did all of those things you aren't supposed to do. I wound up getting some scars on my back, which I can't really see now anyways, and a nice circular scar on my forehead. It's about the diameter of a pen cap, and only slightly off-center. People who know me seem to have gotten used to it, but whenever I meet someone new, and my hair has been recently cut, they question me about it. Another scar is on my face, a little below my eye. It looks kind of like an open-ended horizontal elipse. I got hit in the face with a lunch tray. Blood. Stitches. And a box of Fruit Roll-Ups. Xyandar
I have a Permanent scar on my forehead from when I was about 2 or 3 years old I tripped and bashed my head off the corner of a table. Yeah I knocked myself out and did quite a bit of damage there. I really hate it because I cant spike my hair because its a pretty large scar... the_fizz
Oh where should I start? Well, I got two on my right leg that are pretty big. The one on my knee I got when I was 5-6~not really sure on the age. I got it when I was going up stairs wearing flip-flops and when I got to the top I fell and open it really badly. My mom said to take me in for stitches and my dad said, ?Na, she does not need them!? The whole time this was going on my dad was holding me in the door-way of our house and going back and forth try to decide if they were going to take me to the hospital. In the end I did not get any stitches and my knee still shows the goofy wound. The second one is a really long one on my ankle. I got this one while at a Scottish fair jumping over big long metal tent pegs, a few years later. Once again my dad just said suck it up you will be fine, of course I was. My other scars are not as funny in my mine, so they just faded in time.
oshi
All of my scars are from cooking. What does that tell you? I have one shaped like a crescent moon on my right pointer finger; I got it from a lousy can of cream of mushroom soup. I still like the soup, though. :) Then I have one little one on the palm of my hand from when I was cutting an apple. I have a lot of tiny ones that are healing as we speak, but then there's the burn mark along the inside of my elbow from a cookie sheet. I think I need some maid-service, or something. I can't do this crap on my own. oshi
Sara
Originally posted by James Ooo, scar discussion! ^_^; Ahem.
James, you kind of freak me out sometimes. Mimmi--a basket? I have various scars on my hands and arms--perpetrators range from my fingernails, to scissors, to raspberry bushes, to my fourth grade teacher. / So I was two or three years old, and staying at my grandmother's farm for the while. My mom was in Louisiana with my little sister; they were visiting Nana--my other grandmother. Now, at my grandparents' farm, there were two dogs. Krissie was small and brown and black; Trapper was a wonderful big yellow dog. I loved them both, of course. Dogs are cool. Well, it so happened that I was playing outside with Trapper. I was a little kid, you see, and...playful. Or something. Well, Trapper was eating, and didn't want to play. I wanted to play. He ignored me. I persisted. He ignored me. I think that this point, I may have jumped on top of him... He did not ignore me. So....my grandparents had to take me to the emergency room to have my forehead sewed up. 14 stitches. And yes, I still have some of the scars. / Quite a thing to have to tell my mom while she was on the other side of the country, heh..
Shinmaru
Eh, I've got about three scars on my body. Allow me to share my tragic stories with you :) My least noticable scar is on the back of my right ankle; it's maybe half an inch and you have to look really closely to even notice that it's there. Anyway, I got the scar after accidently tripping over something (proabably a backpack) and scraping the back of my ankle on the metal part of my sister's bed that holds up her mattress. The actual injury barely hurt at all, so eh. My second scar is above my right eyebrow...it's actually more of a lump than a scar, come to think of it, but it's still scar-like in appearance. I got this one after someone pushed me into a wall and my head got busted open. I swear, the actual scar is really tiny, but I was bleeding a lot. My last scar is located on the back of my head, top right side. I was swinging on a tire swing at my aunt's house and I just suddenly fell out of it onto a thick tree root. Got a rather nasty cut from that and I had to wear this huge head bandage for a couple days. Whoo, that was a nice trip down memory lane, aye? RainbowChick
Oooh... OK I got my first scar when I got in a motorcycle accident. Now I'm a pretty safe rider n everything but the guy who was actually driving (driving??) it was turning on a major intersection and the bike was on too much of an angle, so it skidded. Now smart little me was wear sunglasses and as I hit the ground, they shattered and a piece dug into my forehead and it hurt like hell! I got like 7 stitches. That was like 8 years ago and the scar is still here but it is fading (or is that just my wishfull thinking and overworked imagination?). Yeah, I've never been allowed to ride with that person since *sigh*.
Angelus_Necare
A lot of chicken pox/scar stories! I was never allowed to touch my chicken pox so I really have no scars for that. I do however have many a battle scar, from stupid encounters. One that comes to mind right now is a Dimple on my thumb from where I accidentaly gouged it when I was cutting veggies for dinner. Another scar I have is on my upper arm but it's kinda hard to see now, more like a scratch that's been there for four months. You see my friends and I are a part of a sparring club, one day we decided that it would be "cool" if we sharpened our swords up a bit, just to make it more realistic. I was wearing Armor although the guy I was fighting made a lucky strike in the right place and I bled for a good long time. So that was the last time we did that... Other than that I don't have a lot of other stories to tell, not anything interesting though.
Kagari
My brother and I got in a dispute over some hot wheels cars when I was 5. We had an unfished steel spiral staircase and he ended up bear hugging me and throwing me down them :(. I fell out half way down and a bunk bed post went through the back of my head, leaving me with a nice 7 inch scar. Brotherly love ehh? Another nice scar i have runs from my bicep down to my forarm. I was in English class and one of my "friends" got bored and gashed me with his car keys.

Jaganshi
Well I have two scars that really have a story behind them. The mulitudes of others that litter the rest of my body are your basic average nixs and cuts and misquito bites that really itch and you pick at them and they bleed and then the scabs start to vex you and you pick at them and they bleed and the who vicious cycle starts over again. It's a really a horrible cycle! Well back to main point. The first of the two is a scar I have on the back of my skull. It's about two inches in length(its shrunk) and sits on the left side of my head towards the center. In teh when category I got this scar when I was 1 1/2 two-ish.When your young time seems to blur.It blurs even more from head wounds. Now to the how.It was a sunny day sometime around spring. My grandmother's(Granny Faye) roses were in bloom and pollen filled the air(which caused me to sneeze, alot).I had decided to go into my grandfather's(Pawpaw Bruce) two story garage where he kept all of his equipment for his heating, electrical, and air conditioning business.Inside a shiney red refridgerator dolly(the thing they move them with)called to me.If it had the ability to speak it would said somrthing along the lines of "Come on Liz push me back and forth. It'll be fun." Well it was shiney so I took its nonexistant advice.I got to pushing it and was having fun.I started to push it harder. The harder the push got the more carless I got. This would be all fine and dandy if I had noticed the riding lawnmower battery behind me.Well we all know an 'if' means.Yup I fell backwards and hit my head on the corner. It began to bleed and I began to cry.Luckily Granny Faye was out weeding her white roses that grew along the edge of the garage. She heard me and came running. She picked me up and yelled for Pawpaw Bruce. All this camotion led to a trip to the local hospital on teh bypass.Once there I was rushed to the ER.Pawpaw Bruce stayed behind to call my mom who was working at a Gold Star Chilli in a neighoring large city which was about 45 minutes away.It only took her 25 minutes to get to the hospital. All in all I ened up with 18 stitches and I couldn't sit down for two weeks. Now for the other one. Back at the begining of this past summer I went to Chicago for a Rick Springfield concert(if you know who is pm me if not think Jessie's Girl, good now that you have that image of him lose it.He's not clean cut anymore, not that he was but that song was about stalking his friends girl. That's the short version anyway). That really isn't that important to the story but it just adds a little something.Anyways...I was at my dad's house the Monday after my Rick weekend and I decided to vist my cousins Rita and Lillie and My aunt Connie(nut job with a capital N) as well as Granny Faye and Pawpaw Bruce. As normal I was jumped by Rita and Lille who were screaming "Cousin Lizzy's here!!!Cousin Lizzy's here!!!".Well at this time they still thought Lillie had ADHD so she was on Ritalin(funfact she didn't have ADHD).Well the Ritalin wasn't "working" so she was violent and uncontrolable(the fact that she has never been punished in her life also adds to this). She decided that it was tackle Lizzy time.Well she tackled and I got tired of it.So she decied to punch me,keep in mind she was six.So I didn't really want to hurt her so I told her not to do it again.Logically she did it again. That's when I got fed up.I told her if she did it again I'd hit back and I granteed her I could hit harder than her.Well she didn't hit back she jumpped on my back and bit my right shoulder. With the shock of being bit I thew her down on the ground infront of me and pinned her down.I told her you don't bite people and that'd I let her up if she calmed down. That really didn't work because during my whole little 'mommy' speech she was trying to bite my wrists.I let her up and lifted up my shirt sleeve that remarkablly didn't have a hole in it only to find that I was bleeding alot.Granny Faye freaked and apoligized for Lillie.Which didn't work because she dicided biting her cousin was fun so she tried to do it again and I pined her down and got and left. Well there you go.My most notable scars.
catdemon
Well let's see I have alot of scars but I don't know how I got them. No wait I know how I got one of them. It was my 8th brithday and I got a N64 those were cool back then. Well when I had unwraped it and saw what it was I stared to spin around in circles. Yep that is what I did. Then i triped and fell on my gandma's wooden side table and busted open my chin. At frist I looked at my mom like it was all her fault then stated to cry. I had to go to different doctors till I was able to fine out that i needed stiches 4 of them. I now have 3 scars on my chin but the other two I do not know how I got them. My uncle has some to I'll tell them to you one of then had been from him juping on the bed (top bunk bed). He fell and landed ona coffe can. The coffe can was there because mom my and uncle had been doing a puzzle and thay forgot to put it away so he landed on it when he fell. He needed 24 stiches. Well that is just some of the different family stores that deal with scars. I may tell more of them later :p :D.:babble:
shadowfire
Whoa. Scar stories, my turn. I've got way too many. I think my first scar was a... chicken pox scar. I've got a little round scar right in the middle of my forehead. When I was 10, I was paying little league baseball and I was the pitcher and, well don't wanna go into all the details but I got reamed right in the eye with the ball after th ehitter hit it. didn't get my glove up fast enough and I was knocked out and busted my face open and now I've got a scar a little below my eyebrow. You can barely see it but if ya look you can see it. When i was 14 my and some friends went to a little BMX dirt jumping site we all licked to ride and when we finally got there we stupidly didn't check and fix any of our jums and we just went . I was the first one to go and, well crashed. Wasn't my fault cuse half of the landing jump was gone. When I landed it hurt and when I got up the back end of my shirt was like shredded and I had little tiny pieces of glassand some little rocks stuck in my lower back. Turns out some older jackass's went and screwed up our jumps and broke some glass bottles over the jumps. I spent nearly all night picking glass and rocks out of my back. left little scars but over time they've faded a little. You can barely see them now. I tend to get pissed very easily and tend to like to punch stuff alot. Well being that way I have some scars over my knucles where I've punched so much stuff till they just bust and bleed. I've punched threw some glass and gotten some little scars on my hands. On my forearm, shoulder, and lower leg I've got some burn scars to were when my and my cousin liked to play around with little bottle rockets. Light and throw'em at each other and see who gets hit first. Stupid and dumb idea's but whe we were younger we thought it was fun and whwenever one of us would get hit we thought it just made us alittle bit tougher. Both of us have a couple scars by that. And the most pathetic scar I've got is a a little one on my abs thanks that what else.. the cat. The cat was laying on my stomach and was just bein a cat and my brother just busted into my room and scared the cat and he just dug his claws through my shirt and straight into my abs and just ripped. Just a little scar, didn't hurt and only bleed a little but for some reason it just left a scar. Well, so those are some of my biggest and/or weirdest scars. Nats
Ah, yes, *brings out pipe that blows bubbles* those horrid marks that never seem to dissappear on your body and seem to grow as you do. Well, they do for me, okay! I don't seem to have any that are as bad as some people's, though. I have got the total of... *counts* 8 scars and guess how many were caused by my sister. 4!!! Yes, I'm serious, my sister has given me half of the scars on my body. The most recent 2 are the biggest, (just my luck!) The last one was caused by my sister and guess why she gave it to me. We had an argument in the car because there was a large heavy object between us and she got the impression that I was pushing this object against her. I wonder where she got that from. Anyway, she stratched me with her awfully dirty nails and of course, I can't have such a normal reaction to that, can I? Instead of blood pouring out of my arm guess what dripped out of mine. Clear goop with specks red. No, I'm serious, has this ever happened to nayone else before? And of course, my scar can't behave normally, that would be asking WAY too much. my scar has to turn purple when I'm cold. Is this normal? The next one was pretty simple, my mother didn't feel like going to the theme parks in Florida that day. So my Dad and I went cycling and I fell off the rented bike. The scar is not that noticable anymore, it's just a darker tan than the rest of my leg. So if you see a freaky girl with a purple scar on her left arm and a brown scar on her right knee then you'll know who I am!
ChibiHorsewoman
My scars are all pretty boring stories. I had chicken pox when I was 6 so i have a few scars from that (there's a big one above my tattoo) When I was 7 I decided it would be fun to ride my bike and walk my dog at the same time so I did. ANd fell off and got a peice of glass imbeded in my knee, that was pretty, real pretty. other than that nothing. The only time there was ever a chance of me getting stitches I ended up with a butterfly bandadge. But come September allow me to tell you of the delivery scars:laugh: As for other people: When my mom was little she ran in a gravel parking lot, fell, ripped her knee open and had to get it fixed by a specialist. that was forty years ago and she still has the scar. A friend of mine has a really nasty looking scar from her c-section But I think the best scar stories are from my husband-or more accurately, since I'm telling them-thru my husband. The most recent one is from when he was on the rifle range and got a lesson in kinetic energy. You see, he had his M-16 in his hand and jumped from the back of one of the trucks. The M-16 popped up and got him right in the corner of his left eye. the thing was still bleeding when he came home that night, but the stupid army Dr said he didn't need stitches. However, I'm sure that lesson on kinetic energy was enjoyed by all.:rotflmao: Then there's the scars from the small pox vaccination, but pretty much everyone's parents have those so it's not that interesting. He also has a scar on his butt from the time he got bit by an akita. It's really funny to look at someone and say hey, you got a scar on your butt then hear the story. I forgot the story, but it's a good one
Ryu_Sakura
Scars? Let's see, I have many... I have several on my back making X's from my friend at camp, it was an acident, but her father is the rifle and gun manager of the camp so her house is close by, and since we have been friends for about 3 years, she invited me over, I agreed, so we went over. Then out of nowhere her brother comes out wielding a knife and knockes me over, drawing X's on my back. It hurt, no I din't go to the hospital, they wern't all that deep, but they hurt so must I coudn't swim or do anything that might iratate them for a while about 2-3 weeks. I also have scars all over my hands, legs, arms and a few on my face an neck. Most of those were from fights, I'm a very violent person, and others were from my cat, or from burns, oh, and I just remeberd I got one from a japanese soda bottle, stupid, stupid friend... My friend opend it wrong, and let's just say japanese soda is very explosive. Well, I have several more scars for varied reasons, but most of which you'd be too grossed out to read. They are all very bloody, and oops can't say anymore, it's make you sick... They are that bad.
