A group of people sat, waiting in the darkness. Out of the shadows they resided, fires loomed over a town in a show of despair. No people around, only their remains scattered across the dirt. One of the men sitting in the group stood up, and walked to the edge of the shadows.

[i]One world, one existance, one race. That's how the world as you know it is, and that's how it stayed for generations. I wish I could say that it's still like that. But I found this to be far from reality.

The beginning of my story is far away from here, in another era now far behind me. Others that sit around me start from a future so distant, and still others never came from a time at all. I could try to explain how this all works, but it would be quite difficult if I weren't to start from the beginning. If you would, I have quite a tale to tell you, one like you've never heard before. Lend me your ears, as I step back into the past...[/i]

[color=teal][i][u]Misplaced Locations[/color][/i][/u]

Feudal Era: The world exists as one, as nations are less varied than your history tells. One war has concluded almost ten years ago, between two sides of the world that threatened to plunge the world into extinctsion. To prevent another war, the number of recruited soldiers has sky rocketed, some children even being shipped off to Military Academies. Protest is great against these acts. Elven, dwarven, ogerlen, and other species reside here.

Future Era: Floating cities, hover cars, and beam rifles are the norm here. There are no forests anymore, and humanities natural recourses are now manufactured in factories. The streets are unsafe, and Mafias struggle to keep a hold on the cities they once dominated.

(I know it's confusing, two RPGs in one, perhaps. Just bare with me on this, you'll love it.)

Bio: Ryden's parents refused to send him to the Military academies when he was born, so they were publicly executed for their defiance. Ryden wasn't taken to a Military academy, though, for he was rescued by the leader of a resistance group known as Geo's. They trained him in the arts of assassination, as the Geos were in short supply of their expertise.

Still loyal to the Geos, Ryden uses his skills to take out high ranking generals and war providers.

Bio Logan's a vetran to seemingly endless conflicts, big or small. He uses his head in tough situations, but sometimes resorts to blazing guns to get through a tight spot. He tries not to remember his past, and doesn't like to think about the future.

Bio: Ruy was sent to military academics around the age of 14, after a couple of years he learned the art of wizardry (sp). Later he did not want ot be in that military anymore, so he decided to run away and leave so they couldn't find him. Now at the age of 20 he wanders the lands searching for a nice place to relax and settle down, and hope not to be chased anymore b the military.

Bio- Kaska is orphen elf which is very uncommon. When she was found by milatary personel in the black forest they were quite amused by her agility and strength. Teaching her the ways of combat she became their elite opertative at the age of 9. She is skilled in magic, weaponary, fighting, and steatlth operations. When Kaska turned 18 a strange dream made her realize that this is not the life she wanted. Kaska ran away from the military seeking shelter in a nearby village. During the time of her stay she engaged in battle with a samurai named Katsumoto of the Shinjime clan. Katsumoto was only 23 but was an elite leader. Because he detested the military Kaska joined up with him fighting by his side. Over time Kaska and Katsumoto became lovers...sharing a unique bond between elf and man. one night military personal attacked the village where Kaska and the Shinjime clan were residing. Katsumoto was killed in a battle and Kaska was never the same. She became a mercernary for hire but still kept her honor. When she was refused death by a mysterios man named Ryu Mishima she vowed to accompany him.

Personality- She is distant and hates to have feelings. Most of the Time Kaska is rude and blunt. She loves battle and finds she has defied death many times. A carfree spirit she goes where she pleases but stays near her compainion.

appperence- Kaska has white hair that is braided in a thick braid down her back. Her bangs are spiked to the right. She wears a short skirt that shows her legs and a tight black tank top. Quite blessed on top and a small waist with musucular legs. Her eyes are a midnight blue. one small scar is at her right cheek in the form of a cross. This was given to her by Katsumoto at the begining of there meeting.

Bio- Meilan is and third. A robot that is half human half robotic technology. Meilan was 14 when her family was caught up in a war. Meilan was the only one who survived. Shortlt after Meilan was found by an eccentric doctor who reshaped and refixed her whole body making her into an umtimate killing machine. After a breif encounter with an unknown man Meilan becam wary of her actions and chose not to kill.

Gunner used to work with these parts and put together astonishing inventions for the likes of a kid. He is now at a his 3rd year at a prestigious university on a full scholarship. He's just living his life realxing with the older college kids taking life as it comes. Making new marvels everyday, but his greatest invention is in the works. A weapon like no other. Bio: On a cold winter's night, in a poverty stricken village, a young boy was born to a peasant family. This boy's name was Kyosuke. Kyosuke's dad left sometime before he was conceived, leaving Kyosuke's mother to raise him on her own with two brothers and a sister.

On the day Kyosuke turned seven, military men arched through his village, burning things down and looting all the food that the poor village had managed to find. Kyosuke's mother threw him into a river behind the house, where Kyosuke drifted downstream, still asleep.

Upon waking up the next morning, Kyosuke rushed back to his village, only to find his mother and sister's bloody, nearly unrecognizable dead bodies. Kyosuke let out a cry of anguish and ran through town, bawling at the top of his lounges until he tripped over a large, sharp object jutting out of the ground. Ignoring the pain in his bloody, gashed foot, Kyosuke grabbed the metal object, slicing his palm open. As the handle of the sword became apparent, Kyosuke grabbed it and held it by his side, blood still seeping from the wound in his hand. He stood up, let out a few more stifled sobs, and began walking.

Ten years later, after the war had ended, Kyosuke had become a quite good samurai. He still wanders throughout the land, looking for a cause. His hand still is scarred where he cut it the first time on his blade, and so is his foot. Kyosuke kills any military men trying to get him to join the army, for he still feels anger towards them for what happened when he was a child. To this day, Kyosuke still has never found out what happened to his brothers.

Personality: Kyosuke has almost a split personality. To those he trusts and values as friends (few), he is an okay guy. To those he doesn't trust, though, he is cruel, quite, and all around scary.

[b]Bio:[/b] Signa, born to a human father and an elfen mother, was cast out of her family tribe of elves because of her parents' forbidden marriage. This tribe, who judges each marriage as either acceptable or unsuitable to the "community" family, did not only ban the Kendrick family because the father was human, but also because he was a well known thief. When Signa's mother and father left the tribe, they left their daughter as well. The elders, unable to kill such a charming child, gave her to another young couple and told them to train her in the tribe's ways. Years later, she has decided to wander because she cannot exactly fit in with her adopted family.

[b]Personality:[/b] Iku is not very trusting towards people, especially since she deceives whenever she wants to. She has changed a lot from before she joined the gang and now she has very few inhibitions, and she isn't as quiet as she used to be.

[b]Bio:[/b] One day, when Iku was visiting her father's grocery store, a small group of bored punks walked in and started stealing the place right in front of Iku and her father. Too startled to say anything, Iku just stood and stared. When the leader of the punks noticed her, he walked up to her and tried to kiss her. She hit him and he started roughing her up and then he knocked her to the floor. When the criminals started to threaten her father, Iku stood up and said that she would be the leader's boyfriend if she would just leave her dad and his store alone. The leader agreed and Iku went with him in spite of her dad's protests. Iku later learned that her new "boyfriend" was one of the mob leaders' second-hand man. At first, she acted cold to him, but then she started to actually enjoy her new life. Now, she wouldn't give it, or him, away for anything in the world.

Name: Sanosuke Koryuma (Shinaki)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Bio: Sanosuke is one of Kyosuke's younger brothers. When the village was attacked, and his mother and sister killed, Sanosuke was discovered in the rubble by a passing family of nobles. They were kind, and were horrified by the devastation. When they found Sanosuke, a small child, they took him in, and he was raised as the son of a nobleman. The nobles were of the family of Koryuma, and thus that's who he thinks he is.
When the village was burned and his mother and sister killed, Sanosuke went into deep shock, and that's how the Koryuma's found him. He then went into a deep coma-like sleep, and when he awoke, he had no memory of his life in the village or the attack. He remembers nothing of Sanosuke or his other brother, whose whereabouts are unknown. He has had a happy life with the Koryuma's, but has recently been having nightmares about attacks, blood, and fire. (They are memories rising to the surface in his sleep.)
Being raised as the son of a noble, Sanosuke has been trained well in all forms of combat, but is mostly expert in martial arts. He excels in the longbow. Because of his adoptive father's connections, Sanosuke has been exempt from going to the academies and military training.

Description: Looks like a younger version of Kyosuke. Sanosuke actually almost looks like his twin - if you saw them together, you could definitely tell they were related.

Personality: Sanosuke is quiet and shy for a sixteen-year old. He loves reading books, and is quite knowledgeable and scholarly. He blushes easily (very embarrassing), and he's a horrible liar. He dislikes using weapons in combat because he thinks that they hurt others too easily; when he fights, he wants to be able to disable his enemy without hurting them too badly. He abhore unneccessary violence, and has a very pacifistic nature. The longbow is the only weapon he'll use because it's such a distance killer - in other words, he doesn't have to see the killing up close. Sometimes he has a little temper problem (red hair :D) but that's rare. He's very in control of his emotions, and doesn't like judging others unfairly.

Future Era

Name: Veil Parry
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Description: Short, dark hair and gray eyes. She has a slender figure and looks a little younger than she really is. She wears loose pants with lots of pockets, and a dark long-sleeve shirt.

Personality: Veil is very determined and stubborn. She is firm in her beliefs that stability must be established. She's very outspoken, almost violent, and is adamant in her goal. A little bitter at the deaths of her parents, she lets nothing stand in her way. She is not afraid of the mob bosses; instead, she is contemptible of them, and constantly attacks their violent actions.
Towards others, she's quite friendly, but sometimes people get uncomfortable because of the steelly gaze of her eyes. She's a natural leader, and crowds of people follow her wherever she goes.

Bio: Veil's family was under one of the major mob bosses in the city. Therefore, her father was constantly out, and came home alot wounded or bloodied. Her mother took this quietly, knowing what was required in their life. Her mother died when a rival boss kidnapped her and killed her, because her father was unable to negotiate a ransom. As a result, Veil had to by herself alot, and she took care of herself. She argued alot with her father, who was stressed and tired of the job. She continually told him to get out of the mafia, but he told her he couldn't. It was a life contract. He kept her secluded and in the house alot, because he became paranoid of her safety. He didn't want them to take his daughter along with his wife.
After Veil turned 17, her house was attacked by another rival leader. This time, her father was hit, and as a consequence became paralyzed. He died soon after, and she became an independent. The boss that her father had worked for apologized and gave her large sums, providing for her living expenses.
Because of her past history, she now is a political activist campaigning for a stable government, and an end of the mafia-ridden cities. As a result, she has had many death threats and attempts on her life. She has support from many people too, and the mob bosses are afraid that someone with power will support her. Thus, they're trying to knock her off before she's backed up. She travels and gives seminars, speeches, and participates in demonstrations. Her actions have gained world-wide attention, and she has become renowned.

Weapons: Veil keeps only a small handgun for protection. She detests weapons of any sort, and protests strongly against them.
