Guest HellsTournament
The Fourth Of Four An Alpha to an Omega School was hard..and boring..keith had just finished staying after.."its a wonder how ive made it this far" he thought. He was a freshmen in highschool, the years before had been full of summer school and being grounded for basically the full school year. For him and his family..it wasnt a great time, to say the least. The day had been rainy, but not to cold, his bike need repairs the brakes werent to good, but he figured he could get home just as well. The ride home was long. That was the only way keith thought of it.His thoughts dripped and splashed through his head and soon his sight was blurred by the thought of it only being monday. Pedals became just rotating objects he was far from caring, tired and weak from the day it was easier to forget. It was just another way to get out of reality and the hardships of life. The sky began to rain down upon him, the heavens intricate drops of harmless liquid woke Keith up to his ride home again. Finally he arrived home, the ride hadnt worn him out anymore than was already was deteriorated, after all,he did the same exact thing everyday twice a day. Keith unlocked the door and began to look up,he had completed all his homework from staying after, but he was tired and didnt want to deal with this family much mom, dad, his older brother Adam-a junior in hs and of course his little sister nikki, there was nothing much wrong with them..he just didnt want to see them now.Walking upstairs he though about himself and the way things were going. For the past few months he had a desperate crush on a new girl, her name was Erin, and they got along-which he praised god for. Erin kept him through various classes they had together, such as Language arts, and Photography. it was something he looked forward to each day.. Of course he spent his lunch period and the time walking around before and after school with dave and jake-his two best friends. Keith made his way into his room and flopped on top of his bed, which creaked ever since he had put his weights on it, the urge to start lifting these big bulky metal bars was unknown to him..he just seemed to be tired of not helping in physical labor..being in the way.Anyways, the bed creaked and that was annoying but he was still so it was fine for the moment. His thoughts wandered back to the day tomorrow, he had math with Mrs.Moran on tuesdays..what an old hag,she talked alot but she didnt say much..Soon..too soon to get his thoughts organized,Keith fell asleep..but it was needed so he didnt mind it.. A day in the life.. Keith woke up late, it was already 700:!! "stupid clock..stupid brother!"he thought as he knew his brother hadnt woke him up..and his alarm clock hadnt turned on..Keith rushed through his clothing putting things on at random, tying his shoes in such a hurry they came undone a few steps after. He rushed to brush his teeth and ran down the stairs to another present-the streets were soaked with fresh rain.Keith ran out hopped on his bike and went into a mad frantic race against the clock. luckily his bag was in his locker safely waiting for him. Keith got to school at 7:28 just in time to get to his locker and then to homeroom. The morning announcements..the bell, it happened all fast and unforgivingly.Keith took his time in walking to Moran's class once there he picked a cozy spot near the heater and a corner. He was lucky they were both located next to eachother..for the next 45 minutes he could relax and not worry about much. His thoughts began to drag him into a mix of intrest and excitement about his next two classes..both were with friends and both were do-nothing classes. This meant endlessly amusing book fights and talking for another 45 minutes. He thought about his appearance, after waking up without taking much care of himself. His light brownish hair was a little messed up..and once again he had to tie his shoes..only this time properly. He managed to fix his hair a bit and now he looked pretty decent. Keith was about 5-9 he was lightly muscular, but not arnold, californias awkward governor/movie star. The classes passed and finally he had a class with Erin. Keith walked in and sat next to her, they talked, well it was mostly her who talked, keith was a good listener and let her talk his ear off. Erin was about 5-7 she had black hair a little longer than shoulder length. her eyes were a lovely shade of green and hazel. She was skinny but within reason, she was somewhat athletic, she ran every day and mostly to keep up her appearance. They're conversation mostly consisted of Erins day today, as well as yesturday and how her classes were keeping up.Erin liked to talk, but she was fair and asked Keith some questions too, to keep him in the conversation and not talk to a living wall.Near the end of Photography homework was passed around and keith loathed the ending of this class..but then something great happened..Erin suggested they go for a bike ride after school his heart leaped. his mind soared and he almost jumped. He finally came back to reality and answered her with an almost scream of approval. The bell rang, and they went they're seperate ways. Classes passed..until lunch with Dave and Jake came along. They got their usual lunches..fries and a piece of cake for Keith,a burger for Dave and pizza for Jake.Although it was always that way and never really different.Keith hated school food..it tasted like can..even if it had never been in one.Conversations of random movies generated from daves mouth..if there was a movie out dave knew about it..whatever it was.Jake just listened and Keith who was mildly interested asked a few questions..but it never went further than that. Language was up next! his next and last class with erin for the day! he couldnt wait much longer or he might kill himself just to end the suspense. The school system almost killed him though, when he was called down to guidance for who-knows-what he was so angry! The line there was unbelievably long..it would take all period to get through..that would mean no class with Erin..he felt like just walking out..but he knew theyd probably give him more trouble if he did. When it was fianlly in the office..all they really said was he was in danger of failing Morans class-again-. The day ended and he sought out Erin. She was going to ride with him to her house then shed get her bike."Finally a chance to talk to her for more than 45 minutes at a time..what a relief"keith thought as she walked up to him. They chatted for about 5 minutes. then it was time to head to her place.Again the road was slick with rain but it was warm just like the last few days. Keiths bike could strangely fit two on one seat..it was a strange bike but hey, it got the job done,so he was happy. they were on their way talking and keith pedaling, they came to a busy part of the road.It was clear so they started to go across."I must be the absolute luckiest person on earth" he thought.."even though it sounds stupid its true..it must be"he almost thought out loud then, but managed to catch himself. A man, drunk out of his mind came barreling down a long stretch of road and with not a care in the world hit another car starting to halt at the red light it was a horrible screeching..Keith tried his brakes on the old bike as Erin screamed they wouldnt stop and the bike gave out beneath them the hit the ground hard as both cars overcame them.Keith didnt know what was going to happen but he just wished he could have gotten to spend that time with Erin. There was no time to move it was too late and they were both to scared to anyways..Pain but..strangely no noise. Keith woke up..staring down at himself and the terrible accident that lay before him. Learn Something New Fright waved over Keith, he was floating about himself..was it possible he was stuck on something and the person below him only looked like him? he watched as people rushed over to the accident some screaming..some silent..then some calling for help and still others scared and not moving.Keith started shouting at them, nobody payed any attention to him. He then thought of Erin, he immediately turned, surprisingly, towards the sky and didnt fall, he truly was floating! There he saw Erin floating there beside him and a little above. scared so silent she wouldnt acknowledge anything yet but when he moved toward her she glanced at him and her eyes were full of tears and as wide as dinner plates. In the past 5 minutes they had experienced what nobody should ever have to. The pain of death they experienced together and that was the only comforting thought that they both could muster. Keith and Erin both knew it, they were dead but it happened so fast all they had were eachother. the shock was still there and it stayed as they watched theyre bodies carried away in an ambulance..the cars removed, glass cleaned.. and the scene returned to normal. witnesses were taken away and people began to move through without an idea of what happened except a dented light post, but that too was soon to be fixed. They sat in the air, nobody noticed them, they would never, as they both sat and tried to absorb what happened and what might happen next. Bread and Wine, Soul Divine The day must have passed, all the signs of night were upon the earth but Keith didnt know if they were true anymore. Erin and he were still almost speechless to eachother, there was nothing they could do, not really. More useless hours, sometimes Keith tried to start a conversation, but it didnt go to far.Keith and Erin, both, were still hovering over the site of their deaths."What use would going anywhere else do?", Keith had been thinking so deeply about what happened,he didnt notice much.Suddenly, keith had an undeniable urge to know the time, it was 11:59-he could see it from his towns bank-and the same time he saw those numbers move up he heard a loud "Hi!". The Coming Of Misunderstandings Keith and erin both turned to see a guy, floating like they.He was clad in some masterpiece of armor, the time it took to make such quality could only be counted in centuries. he was shorter than them, but sturdy and he had a strange glint in his lightly gold eyes. Before Keith or Erin had a chance to ask him who he was, the strange man started talking in a very authority commanding voice and a very elegant tonuge which they did not understand. After that he began to calm down, and introduced himself as Michael, the angel of the east, and of the eastern winds. As Michael talked Erin could only think about what this could mean, the moonlight refelected off his armor and caught her attention by shining directly in her eyes.Michael then stated that "it" had arrived. Reasonable Judgements//Unfamiliar Ascendings A small dot fell from the sky, black in color, it fell in front of the newly founded trio and stopped, frozen as if boxed together. The dot expanded to the size of two people with a swirling black outline and a purified white mist in the middle. Oval shaped and thin as a sheet of paper it was a strange glory to behold."Thou exit from this foul realm is here young masters" Michael strongly told Keith and Erin.Since there was nothing else to do, they all stepped through and felt closure, they felt satisfied, they felt filled, and all at once it was more complete.Their sight was blinded, but the oval hadnt completed their questions..not totally but almost. Sight returned, and with it a heavy blow to all senses.A fully superior world had let Keith and Erin stumble upon it.Immediately a much taller man also clad in the armor of Michael came toward them.He spoke with power and introduced himself as Azriel the angel of Destruction. Thrones appeared from within the mist and the Oval retired from its activity. They sat and began to wonder once again... Messenger for God and the lost lifes Erin woke up from thought when she was spoken to.Azriel had designed them a proposal...but he seemed to not want to talk about it. "You both have a chance to return to life thats the plainest way i can say it"Azriel told them both.Erin leaped from her seat at this and Keith almost did the same. Azriel, not wanting to bring their hopes down too much told them it would be a long time before this could be completed Azriel also explained that Angels were just other names for commanders in the afterlifes realm. He explained their military structure and basic principles.Keith soon became agitated with the lack of information about their returning to life.Almost, Keith was almost going to shout at Azriel, but at that instant he started to explain their roles."Erin" he mentioned "The only way you will be allowed to return to the realm or the living is for you to become an Evangelion on the battlefield"(Note from formic:evangelion means messenger for god not the big robot thing even tho thats the best series) Erin knew what an Evangelion was, she would have to run from a spot on the battlefield and tell Commanders and Angels what was happening exactly..but she was fast and hoped that would keep her alive. Then Azriel mentioned Keiths duty, he was to Fight on the real battle ground, outfitted in regular armor and given the same weapon as all others. Keith and Erin both still wondered what they were fighting against and what for..it was to be explained..but slowly..and painfully Red Text, Blank Background "So..this is the only way..to fight? *hmph*..sounds unrealistic for them to force this on us already.." Keith had been debating in his mind what Azriel told them, what they were fighting for and against. His fight was against what humans supposedly knew as heck, the darker side, the demons and he was to fight for this after-life realm's victory. He wandered about the room he was given, this place was alot like mortal rooms, land, and basically the same place he lived at just a day ago-just ALOT fancier. Keith paced around his room then laid down upon the overly-large bed he was given to think. His family, and his friends both, hopelessly gone, would he ever see them again? A few hours ago Erin was the absolute only thing on his mind..now..she hadnt entered his thoughts as more than someone next to him. The whole thing was so overwhelmingly frightening..he didnt know where to begin. What surprised Keith the most was the unmistakable similarity between this world and the last.It had little modern technologies..no phone or televisions..but books, and the landscape was the same-or at least the types of landscapes to be found. The worshipped Angels on earth, looked normal, and not anything much astounding-they did although have a very courageous look to them, all of them. A hollow knock came from the heavily decorated door, it resounded throughout the room and back to its place of origin. Keith quickly rose to answer, it was Azriel, who as it seemed, had brought a gift. "We know this is hard, but it'll get better" Azriel tried to comfort him but it didnt have much effect. He handed Keith the item wrapped in paper, Keith stored it in his pocket for later. Azriel, not knowing much conversationally,or at least for this particular kind of moment,Got up said his goodbye and left. Keith picked the bulging gift up from out of his pocket and was about to set it down when he heard a beep.Curious he opened it,Keiths heart leap with joy, in red colored text a small "Hey" appeared on a small screen. Then appeared a small downloading rectangle that flipped past on the screen almost instantly, but slowly enough to see. Then the next message appeared, again in red text "You ganna answer?" Keith quickly tried to type in his reply "Erin?" he typed then pressed ENTER.The small downloading signal appeared again and his message came through on the screen in blue text. Out of the blue the door swung open and Erin stood there holding a reciever just like his, Keith smiled for the first time in a while. then another dowloading shape flashed across his reciever to fast to read, but he already knew what it was, again in red text he read "Ya, its me". A Realization Of Past Values Erin had spent the last few hours playing around with their new toys. The few things discovered about these things was that, the farther apart they were, the longer it took to recieve messages.Other minor options were text color changes, and little things like that. The sounds of rushing footsteps came from outside her door, loud and thundering, but even and orderly. Her door opened quickly, Erin turned it was Michael and Keith. "Come on!" keith told her, she put her reciever in her pocket and ran down the hall with them.As they ran down this glorious hallway against the stream of armored men like ants against a tsunami Michael started to shout at them."You've been granted the chance to see your families and friends! they wont be able to see or hear you, but its better than nothing isnt it?" He shouted back to them. "Whats the big rush for, whats happening?" Keith yelled up to Michael who was unbelievably faster than he looked."First of the Fourth" Michael yelled back, "But what does that mean?" Keith and Erin both wondered. They finally entered a room, emtpy, and away from the seemingly endless noise. "You'll have a half hour then you both will be taken back here. i'll be waiting." Michael instructed them, then another black dot fell from within the ceiling and opened again. The Differences They Made They were back, Back above the street, about an hour earlier than their time of death. Keith and Erin decided to split to see how their families were coping with their loss, then meet back at the school 15 minutes each. Keith parted in the opposite direction as Erin to see how his family was doing. "Are they distressed and angry at me?..will i see them again?"Keith thought as he floated above the break-down lane all the way home.Luckily the family car was in! Keith moved faster to see inside. Adam, the same guy that had one summer handcuffed him to a poll and left a glass of lemonade just out of reach, was sitting silently reading a magazine, of course his favorite..but he was usually being loud and annoying.Keith watched him flip the pages, he wasnt interested in the magazine, just bored, Keith wondered why he wasnt at school, his parents would hardly ever let them stay home and he didnt look sick.Anyways, he would check up on adam later if he could find the time. Keith then wandered into the kitchen, to find his mother preparing lunch, or at least trying to.His mother kept fumbling over things tripping, and dropping various utensils.Obviously she was distressed, he never really thought about the difference he made.Time was counting down and he already knew his dad was at work, so he went looking for his little sister, Nikki.Keith found her lying on her bedroom floor, crying, this was a surprise to him, out of all his family member he had never seen nikki cry. Erin had made it to her house a while back, it was hard to see your family after your death, to see how they reacted. Her mother was slumped over on her reclining chair crying her eyes out.Erin couldnt stand to watch that for more than a few moments, so she left to find her little sister. She found her sister, Christie, in the basement living room, coloring in a book with random harmless looking animals on the pages. She was only 3 so she didnt have much of an idea of what was happening.Erin's father had left his family early on in her life and she didnt have a brother, so she headed off to the school. When Erin arrived at the High School she saw keith floating over the athletic field, They greeted eachother and decided to go to Keith's lunch period which was happening then. When they got there Keith saw Dave and Jake sitting there amongst a crowd of people, they were being mercilessly asked questions about every single detail of what happened to Keith and Erin. The truth was that they didnt know much, but these other kids didnt take that as an answer. One particularly big kid pushed his way though the crowd and said something to dave, the rest of the group got a little silent.Dave stood up, pushed his chair out of the way, And hit the kid squarely in the face. He was down with one punch. The crowd moved away, hoping not to get blamed for anything as a staff member came over and started yelling at dave, but he seemed not to care.Keith and Erin watched in surprise as they carried the kid away, his name was Justin, if the teachers had gotten it right. Dave was thrown over to the office and jake was taken to guidance to be questioned. Whatever caused Dave to punch that kid, it must have been something pretty brutal."Wonder what that was all about.."Erin said to Keith as they floated over to Erin's friends classroom. A usually very talkative Ashley, was in the same corner of the room as Keith has been god-knows-when before. She was reading her text book and looked really frustrated, she looked ready to smack someone the moment they spoke to her."Jeez, maybe i should try to do soemthing"Erin said as she floated nearer to that corner.Keith check the time on the clock above the doorway, it was time to go back, and sure enough, that black dot started falling. There are Eight Targets Keith and Erin snapped back into the same room they had left, as he promised Michael was waiting right there."When i stated that all the rushing was for the First Of Four, i meant Battles. Our men were going to prepare for the First of Four battles that will decide the fates of our realms.Keith, you were already instructed that you would be particpating in the bulk of the fighting, stay alive and you'll gain more experience than you could imagine.Keith, run down the hallway outside and tell the Guard there your name, he'll instruct you." He told them, Keith ran out the door and his footsteps slowly disappeared from hearing range. "Erin, follow me" Michael told her, as he started to walk out the door. Keith saw the guard standing outside a large embroidered door painted red. He came to a sudden halt and told the guard his name, he didnt reply but merely opened the door for them and walked inside.Once inside he started to talk "There are Eight targets, The Kidney, Heart, Throat, Spinal column, The Jugular Vein, Liver,Lungs, and the Subclavian Artery, all are vital and vulnerable. Hit your enemy there, i trust you know where they are." His booming voice startled Keith again, but he was getting used to it. "Ya, i know where they are." Keith replied. Keith had to memorize all these spots by heart for a test the year before. The Guard then handed Keith a copy of the armor he had seen Michael and Azriel wearing. He was also given a helmet with ring-mail around the back of the neck, and a Long sword. "Since you've never used these weapons before, stick with the others they'll keep you safe, But dont hide-get experience A Green Bird's Perch Erin had been sitting up top a tree in its prime, she was well hidden, but she could see well-a deadly combination.Michael had outfitted her with lighter armor than the rest of the soilders, including Keith. Even with the armor, Erin was scared out of her mind, body, and spirit all at once. Her view was the best she could see the entire battlefield from one spot, and clearly too.Erins weapon was light and in its sheath, It was a saber with her name engraved into it, she hoped that made it lucky. She was told that she wouldnt have to use it if things went as they should. Erin could see the enemy from where she sat, they struck fear into her heart like nothing else. The demons wore battered thick armor and were equipped with strong shields and some spears, the majority though had swords and axes. There were thousands of them, on one rising side of a deep valley, but the only thing to comfort that thought was that there was an equal amount of their guys on the opposite side, and what a sight they were to behold. The Soliders of this realm were more than anything could compare to on earth, Armed in glorious armor detailed with beautiful patterns and for Shield they carried with them tower shields, for weapons the choices varied, some had long swords, some axes, some bardiches, and still other with maces. Int the back lines were Hundreds of archers with pits of flame beneath them, for protection and offesive use. First Of The Four, The Startings Keith had been on the field for several minutes now, in line trying to make friends. The two men next to him and the one in front quickly started conversations with him, and told him they would stay with him as long as he stayed with them. Keith had also started scanning for Erin, but he thought it was good he couldnt find her, because then the enemy probably couldnt either. His new-found friends and he talked about anything to get their minds off the up coming horror, but it seemed to fail some of them started to puke and eventually it became just dry heaves. He started to hear much more commotion among the ranks he knew what was coming...his only ticket home, he better not blow it. Trumpets started to blow from both sides of the valley, but it was dulled by Keiths fear for death after death. He could see the front ranks moving forward..converging on their own self concious suicide, the buddys he made before started to shake but they shook his hand and before keith noticed, his rank was running full speed ahead. Keith carried his weapon with a death grip as he ran downhill towards the center of the already massing carnage, the shield he was given trembled at the pace Keith was setting. The lines started to break apart and collide in the middle like an asteroid against the hardest spot earth could provide. Keith's blood was pacing faster and faster as he neared the center, he looked around for his new found protectors, they were there with him. He was there, a demon saw him right away, and tried to raise his sword to deliver a crushing blow to Keiths head but he was too slow, Keith rushed underneath him and crashed his shield into the ugly's jaws shattering it on impact, it fell hard. The man on the left of him sliced a demons spine in half and watched it collapse in the dirt.Keith looked around and saw another coming at him from the right Keith swung around and spiraled behind the creatures weapon, he took its right shoulder turned it around and impaled it instantly, then sliced his sword out from the thing's side.Another one of his protectors somer-saulted into his opponents knees and stood up in time to put a full thrust through its spinal cord. Keith looked behind him and took a elbow bash to his cheek, he fell but in the right position to cut right through the demon's right leg and bash its liver with the point of his shield. He turned with enough force to unknowingly cut through anothers rib cage and into its lungs, but also, to see one of his comrades arm's sliced through. Keith, enraged by this jumped and thrust his sword down through his attackers head and into its filthy throat. The man who was to the right of him before the battle started cut through a demons hip as it tried to rush after Keith.Looking around keith saw a fellow solider struggling to keep a creature off of him keith knocked it down, But got his armor cut across where his chest would have been, he retailiated by breaking the elbow of the arm that just attacked him then putting a clean cut through the creatures neck and jugular veins... The battle raged on with losses for both sides.. Outskirts Of Blood and Soil "Was it victory, or could the battle turn to their favor?" Erin thought to herself. Erin was still sitting upon her branch since the start of it all. She admitted to herself, however, that she had intentionally lost track of particularly gruesome scenes. All there was to do was wait for the end, and hope that Keith was still there and unharmed. "If he doesnt come back, ill.." Erin couldnt finish that sentence, that wasnt even a possibility, it couldnt be.Movement, Other movement than the center of the valley, On the opposite side of her position Erin saw the demons move coming before they could initiate it, shed hoped that was enough time. Erin climbed down from where she sat and ran, ran until she thought a heart attack was coming, towards the field commanders. Never Knew What Hit Them Keith raised his sword from behind another enemy, soon after, it lost its head. The battle had been going for almost an hour now, both forces were wearing down, and the living's(if you can call them that) stamina was growing weary. Keith blocked to his left, then, without noticing his opponent's face, stuck his sword into his opponent's heart. The enemy hit him from behind he fell face first into the dust, rolled over and cut off the beast's offensive hand, Watching its similarities to a worm, he cut it from its shoulders to its stomach. Turning again to his right, he charged at another creatures side, crushing its left rib cage and collapsing its lungs. "The battle must be over, only a few left to mop up." Keith thought to himself as he sat to rest, his fellow soliders were hunting the last few down that moment. His sword was chipped, burned, and blood-staind, the same with his shield.Keith didn't escape without harm though, he had cuts and scrapes throughout his body, especially on his cheek.Keith took in a deep breath, and watched the remaining soliders kill another demon. Even though Erin had made it to her commanders, the information was useless now the second wave was coming... Two ways to tell Out of the thousands in Heaven's army, only a little more than 100 remained, many wounded, some dying, the rest were ready to fight. Men started turning their heads, rising from their spots of bloody territory they claimed for themselves to rest. 200 give or take, 200 demons rushing towards them with rejuvinated flexibility, and of course brand new equipment. Keith sat up, gathered his weapons, and walked towards another solider, who smiled faintly upon seeing his arrival to his deserved resting spot. Keith introduced himself to his neighbor, there was no conversation beyond that, Keith never knew his name. The enemy had arrived and keith wanted to finish them off quickly, if he was going to die that was it, what happens, happens and couldn't happen any other way. Running up, Keith pushed his chosen opponent's sword to the left and pushed his shield into his ribs, Then sliced its stomach open, and left it there to bleed. Another came from his left, Keith quickly poked through it's lungs. Before Keith knew it he was on the ground, he saw the thing that had put him there. The thing had a mask on, its armor was gruesomely beautiful, intricate in every way, Its sword was clean and shining, but the one thing that stood out was a necklace. The necklace looked to be pure gold, the object connected to it was circular in shape, and as black as space. The decorated foe swung his sword at Keith, but he was too slow Keith rolled into its feet and knocked it down. The first chance he got, Keith stuck his sword deep into his opponents knee-as a result it let out a scream that shook the very heavens they stood upon. Knowing he could beat it now, Kieth kicked into it's chest, knocking it's breath away, without waiting a second Keith sliced into his enemies shockingly tough neck. Whatever it had been, its insides wasted away, and soon all that was left was armor, and that shining necklace. Expecting an attack from behind Keith turned around and looked. Nothing. there were no enemies, his men couldnt have killed them all so quickly, was it possible? No, he saw the same dust as when he had pushed his foe into the world beyond. The soliders stood around wondering what had happened, some asking questions... and then some, expressionlessly, sitting down. Keith picked up the shining necklace, considering it proof of his victory, in staying alive and in keeping his side on the winning. Putting it on gave him a sense of pride, but didn't he deserve that? How About You? 10 little black snowflakes fell from the sky, Keith and the rest of the men walked towards them, and soon were home. Once his sight enabled him to see the great hall before him, he went looking for Erin immediately. The room was massive, it's ceiling was as tall as a 4 story house, the walls were purified white, and the boarders shared a design of pure gold. The tables and chairs were a deep color of wood, carved with master efficency. A larger table was placed at the head of the room, the chairs all grew larger as they moved towards the center, but as he had heard..this area was rarely used. As Keith neared his room, he noticed less people walking or talking with friends. Keith still wore his armor, he figured to store it in his room somewhere. Keith heard footsteps running, he turned and saw Erin running towards him, a wonderous look on her face. Keith couldnt help but smile, she jumped up and hugged him in a death lock, as tight as a shark's jaws. Anger Management Keith with Erin in tow, made it to his room to rest and relax after the event of the past hours..or was it minutes..or maybe days, Keith didn't know. He opened the door to find it just as he had left it, as he expected. Keith let Erin in first, and because his armor might stink, he left the door open. " Hold on a few minutes, ok?" Keith told Erin as he walked into the bathroom to wash up. Keith dropped his armor with careless abandon, it seemed to weigh on his very soul, cracking his hearts casing, but it was his ticket home so he cherished it with the soul that was both hurt and strenghtened by this glorious hunk of metal. Various towels and wash cloths were laid out for his use, but what sizes he grabbed didnt much matter. Blood stained Keiths brow, his mouth had a line of dried blood that once flowed freely through whatever caused it..it just didnt matter! Keith suddenly realized.. he was angry, obviously, but for what reason? " I should be exhausted and here i am feeling this rush, it must be just after effects." Keith said under his breath. Keith slipped into the bath and just soaked.. he soaked, hoping to absord lost thoughts in his hard earned bath, and soak he did, time was just a number. Are you Waiting for? When Keith was sure he was so wet it would hurt, he got out and dried himself. "Erin must be gone by now, i shouldnt have kept her waiting like that." Keith thought to himself as he put on a fresh set of clothing. He walked out slowly, and to his surprise saw Erin lying on the carpet drawing on a pad she must have gotten from her room. "It's been 5 hours, i was starting to think you'd drown." Erin told him jokingly as she looked away from her pad. She stood up, leaving her paper and pencil on the ground, and walked over to the bathroom entrance to pick up his armor. Erin examined the breastplate, and ran her finger across a large cut right through the middle. She stared at it for a long time, Keith had no idea what she was thinking about, but he let her have the time. Sessions. After examining Keith's armor inside and out, Erin began to wash the blood off, the one thing that disappointed her was the cut she could not repair, and things it could mean. "This is going to take me awhile, so you can do..whatever." Erin told Keith, with a sadness in her voice, she never looked up. Feeling as if a huge weight had just been lifted form his shoulders, Keith strode out the door, turning just in time to hit Azriel head on. "Glad to see your alright, you did well." He said to Keith. "Ya, i am too" Keith replied. "Follow me, because of the casualties we took, training periods are now being schelduled." Informed Azriel. Keith had another day to himself, he walked down the hall after Azriel had left, looking his necklace over, going wherever his legs carried him. Initials "Why me?", that was a question Keith thought about as he sat in the great hall. Keith had spent the last 2 hours thinking, and examining his necklace. Without a doubt, Keith had cleared his mind a bit, but that sincere, clear thought remained, and without a doubt he hated it. A sudden beep alerted him of another message from his reciever. "Where are you?" It read. Keith replied he was in the great hall, with nothing to do. Soon after Erin appeared from around a corner Keith was facing, carrying a hulk wrapped in cloth. Erin dragged the hulk up to Keith's chosen table and struggled to place it in front of him. Keith fervent with curiosity, unwrapped it quickly. In front of him lay, the most beautifully handcrafted longsword he had seen since his new beginnings in the afterlife. The steel was smooth everywhere, and sharp enough to pierce your fingers with a small tap. Runes, which Keith couldn't read were decorated along the swords right side, and the handle had his initials written along the hilt. The entirety of his gift shone like the sun, as he marveled at it, like a dream. The Same Things To Go Through "Turn around and take my hand, turn your moments into pleasure." It was that repeating image in his mind that sought after him. Haunting, disrupting, below, disease, betrayal, life, Why? Erin woke from the screams coming from the hallways, she ran out along with many others rushing to see the problem. Fear struck her, it was coming from Keith's room. Erin ran in, pushed through the crowds of half awake people, to see what looked like Keith. He was drenched in sweat, and breathing heavily, his eyes were burning a raging black.Keith's right hand had been gripping his chest in an attempt to exchange fear for pain, the cuts were deep and blood was freely flowing onto the sheets. Erin's eyes widened as far as they would go, she didnt know what to think of him. It was easy to hear the crowd start muttering, their eyes wandered back and forth, it was bad. Keith finally looked towards them, as if just recongnizing his room was filled. "Its started, the second of four." it took a second for his words to sink in, one, two, you could count the hours it seemed to be. The crowd went silent as they understood, a flood of shock hit them head on, and it begun. The Second Of Four 867-5309, the less than jake cover. Keith loved that song, but why was it in his head now? There again he stood, among the ranks of heaven. The same setting, opposite sides of a valley. It wasn't Keith's decision, but it was a stupid plan. Keith gripped the necklace tight, maybe it would bring him luck, but maybe it wouldn't. As he held the necklace in his hand a fire flared inside of him, Keith couldnt control himself. The small flickering flame rushed into an inferno, his mind was speeding, it hurt him so much he had to kneel. The pain was becoming addictive, it was holding him back. WHY? the simple question, or explanation, depending on your viewpoint, hit him dead on. Keith ran. The wind sped through Keith's isolated hair, holding him back, asking him not to go. waves and surges willed keith forward, he was in the front now, ahead of the entire army. Rage walled up into keith, as if a bird he jumped up, a full 4 feet above his enemies head's. He didn't have control, Keith blacked out. As the two glorious strengths marched towards eachother, the singular soldier in the air raised his sword, and threw it down upon the thousands, when it struck, a totally unexplained and unexpected blast charred the area, leaving nothing standing.
