I'm copying one of Ohkami's little tid bits that I'v caught onto. Below, I will be posting the 6 people who are in the RPG, first will be your Otaku name, then your character's name, and then the color in which you must post ^.^ Yes, that is a rule, so don't break it or I might attack you with PMs (and thats not very nice).

The SIX
K.K.C. - Scout - Sea-green
Ohkami - Sakura - Dark blue
Vicky - Tarius - Dark Red
Dragon Warrior - Cathal - Bold/normal
Black_Phoenix - Quel - Teal
Lrb - Matrim - Royal Blue

Remember, you (not my character) are heading towards Frontal Peak (look at lost post in recruitment). Some of you have heard of my character and some have not (most havn't) you also arn't entirely sure why you are being summoned there, but your going anyways because that's the only way to get a plot now isn't it? BTW, the mad is attatched to this post as well.

Well, here it goes!
----------------
A large gust of wind blew through the air, causing the large towering object to shudder and creek, it was a very old building and only young children had entered it, trying to show one another who was braver than the other.
The wind didn't mind Scout though, he sat upon one of the large wooden beams high in the tower, he was at least 30 feet off the ground, but that didn't bother him either. Scout looked around, as if hoping to see something run by one of the holes in the building, but nothing came. He sighed and then sat crouched down on the beam and looked down at the bottom, thinking of what would happen if he fell...

Suddenly, a large beat came from the air, Scout tuned in with his ears and then looked up to see a large eagle hovering above him. It landed gracefully on the beam next to him a folded its huge wings, which were at least 5 or 6 feet in length. He softly screeched out some bird noises and then cocked its head at scout, as if waiting for an answer. Scout smiled his normal cocky smile and looked back down at the ground below.

"Thank you for helping, once again. Though, the cat can't read... make sure you catch his attention so he chases you in... if that's ok..." Scout replied, understanding what the agle had spoken, with out speaking again, the eagle lifted from the beam and flew out of the tall building to search for its "prey".

Scout waited in the beams for another ten minuets, not moving at all, just listening to the wind, until he heard fott steps coming from outside, silently he shrank deeper into the shadows as figure walked into the creeking building.

"Meryah!" came the voice from the darkness. The figure suddenly dropped to all fours and started moving around the ramshackle building, appearing to search for something. Movements were heard by what seemed to be overly-large ears. Scout wasn't sure, but he believed it to be Cathal, the catman he sent the eagle after. Cathal wasn't exploring too far away from Frontal Peak, rounding up some grub for that night's dinner.

The Cathal-like being leapt towards the spot Scout hid until Scout revealed himself, giving Cathal a start. At first, Cathal wasn't sure Scout could be friendly or not, being in the shadows and all, until he stepped out into the beams of light pouring down through the shattered roof. Cathal purred a little and said "Meryah!", which seemed to be his most appropriate word.

"Greetings, Cathal," Scout spoke. Cathal cocked his head to one side. Scout held out a hand to shake. Cathal sniffed at it as if to check if it was a trap, then he stood on his hind legs like a normal man and shook. He knew that much, at least. "I bet you're wondering why I'm here and how I know you."

"Meryah," Cathal said with a little purr in his throat. He had a feeling he'd find out, though he mostly just wanted to play.

Sakura walked through a dark forest. She could hardly see because it was so dark. It wasn't named the Eclipsed Forest for nothing. She shivered slightly, her eyes changed and they were goldish yellow with a black slit. She had cat eyes, good for seeing in the dark. Sakura walked clearly and as she saw the exit of the dark forest, she changed her eyes back to human.

The day before, Sakura had gotten a note telling her to go to Frontal Peak for an unknown reason. Sakura had felt it was important so she had decided to go.

Now she travelled, she was almost there. Her sword was on her back and her rante was safely locked on her wrist, but ready to attack when needed.

The trees opened and Sakura walked out of the darkness. She looked out over the land and saw a large structure in the distance. She stretched and got on her fours. She started to change and her clothes changed to be replaced with short, brown hairs. Her nose shaped into a fuzzy muzzle and her ears moved to the top of her head and flicked back and forth. She grew a tail that flicked from side to side. She grew slightly taller and stood in her finished form. She was a chestnut horse. She reared and neighed loudly before galloping off towards the old building on the horizon.

Tarius lept from the treetops and flipped over before grabbing onto the next branch. He really didn't have to flip from tree to tree, but his acrobatic skills where what most people would call... fun. The dark foest almost made Tarius blend into the background, but his dragon sword on his back seemed to blend in too. Standing in the tree, Tarius looked ahead. He had received a letter, telling him to go to Frontal Peak, and even if there was any trouble for him there, he wasn't afraid. Tarius jumped down from the trees, and just before hitting the ground he hooved in the air, and began to speed through the forest.

"This is like a mini adventure, only there's no one enemies... where's evil when you need to refresh?" Tarius asked himself, joking. He was joking, of course, he would never be serious about evil, never.

He came to a sudden halt in the air, and looked ahead with his sharp eyes. Frontal Peak was ahead, unless his eyes where being cheated. Tarius laughed to himself, and clenched his fist. A black glow appeared around his fist, as Tarius walked forward.

Just in case... He said in his head, still clenching his fist. If anything woud happen, he had his powers for a shield, and his sword, plus his powers for attack, and if needed his acrobatic skills for dodging, but never running away.

"What is this about anyway?" He wondered to himself, staring at the large stucture as he walked towards it.

*Quel walked calmly along the outskirts of the Eclipsed Forest, since the interior would be impossible to move through without light. Up ahead he could barely see his destination on the horizoin, Frontal Peak. Being told to proceed to that "tower" by a piece of paper from the sky, oddly enough, had peaked his ire a bit, but his curiousity had won out in the end. Now it was just a matter of getting there.

Deciding to be fully prepared, Quel removed his sword from the sheath on his back. Years of training with the sword had allowed him to use is one-handed, despite the weight, and to wield it as others would wield a mucm smaller blade. From a pouch on his left hip he removed a whetstone, a small block of stone the size of his hand, and ran it over the blades of the "split sword," as he called. Each stroke of the whetstone sharpened the blades to a finer edge, ensuring a much faster, and cleaner, cut with each swing of the blade.

It took less time to reach Frontal Peak then he had figured, so Quel stopped for a moment. For a few moments he looked around, as if to get his bearings, before suddenly swinging his sword, pointing the tip at a nearby tree. By focusing his mind Quel sent of barrage of Psionic Needles from the tip of the blades. The tree splintered as the invisible mental energy smashed straight through its truck. Before the tree could fall, Quel rotated at the hips, and thrust his left hand at the tree. He unleashed a less focused attack, called a Psionic Wave, that knocked the top of the tree off from where the previous damage had occured.

Quel smirked and sheathed his sword. He finally approached the door to Frontal Peak and, with a kick, flung it open. Walking slowly once more Quel entered to see what would await him next.*

OOC:  this is looking awesome, but Frontal peek is... very very very far away from the eclipsed forest. The reason frontal peek isn't on the map is because it is farther into the East and the Eclipsed forest is in the west, very close to the black orb, i'll just ignore that though and continue on.

IC: As Scout shook the cat man's hand he made a small grin. "I will tell you when the others arrive... I hate repeating myself." With that he stepped backwards into the shadows, but he was still able to be seen if someone looked closely. Cathal pricked up his left ear, hearing something from outside. "I guess the others are coming." Scout guessed, just then the creaking door to the building has completely knocked down and a young man walked in, as if expecting some trouble. His eyes rested on Cathal and he looked some what confussed.

"Are you the one who called me to this place?" the man asked the cat like... thing. Cathal cocked his head to the side like before and smiled, showing some of his pointed teeth.
"[strike]Murrfles[/strike]Meryah!" He said, not seeming the least bit afraid of what had just happened.
The man who had just entered seemed even more confussed.
With a small chuckle, Scout emerged once again from the shadows to reveal himself.

"Cathal isn't the one who called fore you, I am... I'v called 3 others to come here as well, please hold your questions until they arrive... like I told the cat, I hate repeating myself..."

Mat walked along a path. His boots made a long crack as the solid mud below him was crushed beneath them. He weilded his sword in one hand, resting the blade on his right shoulder. He wondered why he was going.

Probably because I don't have anywhere else to go. Maybe this person can help me be cured? Hmm.. he thought.

He looked ahead, over a hill he could see a distant building. It looked very strange... and old. He figured this was the "Frontal Peek" the letter spoke of. Excited, Mat started running over the hill to get to that building.

"C'mon! Almost there!" he said aloud to himself. His sword was now in its scabbard, awaiting to be drawn from it's small house on Mat's side.

Finally Mat made it over the ginormous hill. Actually it wasn't that big... but it was when you're running up it! He sat on top of the hill. Looking up at the sky, he realized just how peaceful this place could be. He reminded himself to make sure he came back here later. Mat got up and charged down the hill. Just as he did, he saw the strangest thing. A horse was transforming into a girl. The girl then entered the building.

My eyes must be playing tricks on me. he thought.

So he had made it to the large wooden door. He pushed it open, lots of light pushed its way through the cracks making the place much brighter.

"Hello? Anyon-- Oh. Hey kitty kitty. C'mon." Mat said as he saw a large cat. He figured it was just an undiscovered species. The cat twitched its ears. Looking at Mat it charged and glomped him!

"Woah!" yelled Mat as he fell down. "Friendly little thing aren't yo-- Oooh. I see."

Mat looked and realized why the cat had pounced him. Mat had meat and milk in his pack. The cat-thing ripped his bag of Mat's back and ate all the food. He had trouble getting the milk open. Looking at Mat with the bottle in his mouth. He muffled a word.

"Meryah." it said. Mat figured it wanted the bottle open so he went over and grabbed it from the cat. Taking off the cap he gave it to the now purring creature.

"Nice little thing, isn't he?" said a voice from the shadows. A figure stepped out.

Tarius continued to walk along, as he came up to the struture and stared up at it. He looked around at it first, and he saw the door had been kicked down. To him, that wasn't a friendly sign.

"That doesn't seem very nice... I better watch it first." He said to himself. Tarius could here mumbles, or atleast from somewhere, and either he was imgining it or he wasn't. Tarius decided he wasn't. He couldn't decided where the voices where coming from, so to be on the safe side, he didn't go in just yet he wanted to wait.

I'm begining to get annoyed... He thought to himself. Tarius folded his arms over his chest, as he began to rise in the air. On the edge of the strcuture, he backed up a bit. He wasn't too high, but now he couldn't hear anything at all. Moving back into the shadows, he became invisable, almost.

Oh... I won't be here long... He thought to himself rolling his eyes, and looking down to see who else was coming, if anyone.

OOC: i'm going to go on and get everyone into the place so we can really get this started up.

IC: Scout looked around the small room now, counting four of the five he had called to meet him, either the last one was late, or decided not to come at all. Most of them seemed to want some answers, except for the cat, who was pawing at a bug that was trying to get away from his masive claws.
"I suppose you would all like to know why you are here, correct?" Scout said looking at each them in the eyes. They all nodded, the shape shifting girl looked around at the others who had come and the one who kicked down the door had his arms crossed, waiting for an answer.
"I was waiting for one other, but I sup-" Just then Scout saw a shadow on the floor move, he looked to where it had come from and saw a dark figure half way covering up a large hole near the top. Scout growled slightly and put his hand on the hilt of his sword, he then leaped up onto the nearest beem and began to jump neer the top, the figure moved to left, crossing another open hole, Scout shot forward, busting through a part of the roof he grabbed a dark figure who was hovering in the air and they began to fall to the ground, but the figure slowed them down and they landed with a soft thud.

The others ran outside (Cathal chasing the bug) and held their weapons out, just in case. Scout quickly leaped away from the figure before any weapon could be drawn. It's him...
"I am the one!" Scout yelled to him before the figure decided to lunge at him with his sword. "I called you here, you are Tarius, the one who can wield powers of darkness." Scout breathed a sigh of relief as Tarius' grip became looser on his sword and he slowly bagan to lower it.
Scout turned and face the girl. "You are Sakura, a shape shifter..." He then looked at the one who broke the door,"Quel, you have telekinisis (sp?) and can make psionic attacks. Matrim, you have a split personality in which you become much stronger." Scout then looked at the cat with a cocky smile. "And this here is Cathal... part man, part cat." They all seemed to be slightly surprised that he knew them all. Now that he had everyones attention, Scout began to tell them what the mission was.

"I have called you all here to join me in a mission save this planet from destruction.: He turned and looked at them all. "I'm sure that you have heard of the land called night, those rumors of a darkness rising are true, a great evil will inslave the Earth if we do not stop it." Before scout could continue, someone spoke out.
"Why us?" It was Sakura, she had been waiting patiently for an opening. Scout smiled slightly and turned to face her.

"We are all mutated in some way with a special gift to call our own. I know many outcasts like yourselves, i'v sort of been able to sense them when they are near. You five have the certain powers and brain power that I have been looking for." He said with a smile, he noticed that Matrim looked at Cathal with an odd expression when he said "Brain power".
"If you agree to help me, I insure you that this will be the greatest adventure in your life... and if you want some money, i may even add that in." Scout grummbled something under his breath before continuing. "Now... if you don't agree to join, I will most likely force you in some way... any questions?"

OOC: How did my charater go from kicking the door in to kicking it down?

"Any questions?" The words were greeted by silence as the group seemed to be working out what they had been told. Quel, who had closed his eyes while thinking, now opened his eyes and stared Scout straight in the eyes. "Yeah. I've got a question for you." At that moment Quel sprang forward, directly at Scout.

With great ease Quel drew his sword from behind him and swung it at the area of Scout's head. At least, that is where is was before Scout ducked, then drew his own sword in defence. Quel let the weight of the sword spin him around as he passed by Scout, then stood still for a moment, staring as though his eyes could bore into Scout's soul. Another lunge and the pair's blades met in a clash of power. In another attempt to slip past Scout, Quel wound up with the other fighter's foot in his chest.

The group watching the two fight were caught of guard as Quel slowly stood and let out a slightly ragged laugh. Quel rested his sword on the dragon scale covering his shoulder, then carefully sheathed it once more. Scout's face twisted in a look of near hatred. "Would you care to tell me what that was about? There was no reason for that." "I beg to differ," Quel replied. "You speak very well about you plans, but they are just words. In the middle of a fight one's mind becomes focused and their emotions are easier to read. You could have been lying with your words, but you can only tell truths will emotions."

OOC: And how come something like a mini sword fight just broke out? *rolls eyes*

Tarius sighed heavily.

"There's not need for that. Anyway, I have a question, what makes us so special? It's not our power that makes us stronger, because sometimes it doesn't, it just makes us different. I mean... a very well trained swordsman or someone might be better than one of us." Tarius said. Cathal cocked his head, when he stopped chasing the bug. Maybe he didn't understand, like the rest of them by the looks of things.

"There's many people that are mutated like you all, but the reason I chose you is because you all seem to be right, atleast for this adventure." Scout answered. Tarius nodded.

"That answers it, but you failed to mention, what will we come up against? Any other mutated people?" Tarius asked again. Scout shook his head.

"Anything, really." He answered. Tarius rolled his eyes.

"That really] answered my question." Tarius mumbled so no one could hear. They all fell silent for a few seconds, when suddenly Tarius broke it.
"When do we set off then? I'm in this." Tarius asked.

There goes my own personal adventure around the world.. Tarius thought to himself.

Scout grinned. Tarius was in and it was a matter of time before the others followed. He felt a sudden nudge at his right leg and upon turning, he found Cathal tugging at his pantleg with his teeth. "You in, Cathal, my friend?"

With the cloth still in his mouth, he looked up and meowed a "Meryah" with pleasure. Scout grinned again. That was definately a yes.

But Cathal's attention was attracted elsewhere as he began investigating the newcomers, starting with Tarius. He walked up to him and rubbed against his legs, sniffing at the warrior fiercely. Loud purrs emerged. That darn Cathal.

OOC: We know =)

IC: Tarius looked down at the half cat half man, and kneeled down to the cat. Cathal stared at Tarius, and Tarius smiled.

"Here," He said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out some meat he had kept for travelling. He handed a bit to Cathal, and kept the other half for himself. Cathal purred louded. There was no mistaking he was half man half cat. Cathal ate some of the meat, and when Tarius stood up he rubbed his head against his leg again.

"Playful, isn't he?" Scout said. Tarius looked up at Scout, and nodded. Tarius continued to wonder if the others where coming along, and stared at them. They hadn't answered, yet. Tarius stretched his arm out to a nearby wooden box, and it began to glow black. The box suddenly moved right up too Tarius, who jumped on it and sat down, while Cathal jumped back.

"Take you time..." Tarius mumbled.

Sakura had listened attentively, she was unsure if she could trust the group. She looked around, a guy that was immortal, a half man half cat hybrid, a Hulk like guy, a very acrobatic guy, a telekinetic guy and herself, the shape shifter.

"I'm in, might as well, not like we have anything too important to do right? Come on, we're outcasts." Sakura said shrugging.

Cathal slinked over to her and started to rub against her leg and purr. Sakura looked at him strangely at first but started to stroke his ears and head.

She got tired and she started to change, into a chair. So there she was. An oak chair, just sitting there. Cathal looked at the chair that had been a person. He was about to use it as a scratching post when Sakura's voice came from the chair.

"Don't even think about it." she told him.

He cocked his head to the side but just sat next to the talking chair. Quel walked over and sat.

"It's a good thing you're not that heavy." Sakura commented.

She looked around at the others that hadn't agreed. So far, on their team, they had the immortal, the man with Dark Powers and the catman and her of course. Who else would join their Pose?

OOC: In and down are pretty much the same in my vocab. ;_; *steels face*

IC: Well, that was three down and two more to go, Matrim hadn't spoken much and seemed to be thinking about if should join or not and Quel seemed like he wanted to know more about Scout before considering something, but Scout wasn't planning on revieling anything to them.
"You know when you said when people fight you can tell their personality better?" Scout asked without looking at Quel, he didn't nod, but he seemed to say yes with his eyes, "Well, from personal experiance, you can spend half your life trying to figure out someones personality and you still may not know who they are." Scout glanced at Quel, his eyes seemed to be sharp and cold for some reason. Scout sighed slightly and turned and faced him.

"This is your choice on weather you want to come or not, but highly recommend you do because I'm very hard to get rid of once I'v made my mind up on something." Scout looked a Matrim who stood up and looked around the group.

OOC: Hey! Maybe Ohkami can turn into an antique and we can go to the antique roadshow and get lots of money! $_$ ....it was just a thought.... By the way Ohkami, how would you know what the Hulk is in this adventure? ^^'

Mat stood up. He looked at everyone. Cathal, purring against Sakura who was currently a well-carved chair. Scout, who was intently waiting for an asnwer from Quel or Mat... and Tarius who had decided to sit down and wait.

"Well.. if you ever hear a humming noise... promise me you will back off. I can't control my mutant powers unlike you guys and my powers are grand." said Mat. He dispised his dinasaur self. It buged him. But maybe.. it was his true form. Maybe it was the beast that was him and the human part was just something the beast broke into everyonce and a while. ..Maybe.

"So I will join. It's a yes." said Mat.

"Good. Now how about you Quel?" said Scout as he turned to Quel who was still thinking deeply.

Cathal seemed to notice that Mat was somewhat.. sad. Cats can do that ya know. He trotted over towards Matrim and started pawing at the green gem, placed in Mat's sword. Mat pulled away from Cathal.

"Don't touch that. It triggers the beast." said Mat, sternly. But he thought for a second that it might be too late for that. The beast was a very angry creature who didn't like anyone. He was also very powerful. So when Mat heard a humming noise after Cathal hit the gem. He was stuck. He couldn't move. The beast wants out.

OOC: The 'beast' is supposedly super-powerful. But Mat can't always control it. He doesn't usually even go into the beast. Just so ya know! ^_~

OOC: My charater is sitting in a talking chair. Yep, it's official, he's lost it. :P

IC:Quel never took his eyes away from Scout as he stood up. By now the others were giving Mat some space at the sound of the humming gem, save for Cathal, who was edgy and a little confused by the events. This did not bother Quel in the least. To him the noise and everyone but Scout no longer existed as he stared for a time.

"You are right you know," Quel finally said. Scout returned the comment with a quizzical look. "About other's personalities, that is. They are difficult to understand, even with my empathic abilities, which are severely limited." Was it Scout's imagination, or did Quel's eyes seem to glaze over then harden for a moment? It was almost as if something from the past had been dredged up, then suddenly blocked out.

Scout did not have the time to think it over as the sharpness in Quel's eyes dissipated, and the looked on with a calmness in them. "However, even if I do not understand your personality, I now know that you were serious about your reasons for calling us to this point. For now that will be good enough. I am in."

OOC: >.< actually, I think Vicky's character was in the Ohkami chair.

IC: Scout smiled slightly, everyone was in, he was glad he didn't have to try and force anyone into this, he hated forcing people, it made him feel like an all powerfull jerk.
"Good choice, but I think we may have a problem on our hands at the moment." Scout looked at Matrim, who was beginning to turn a greenish color, Cathal still didn't really know what was going on and was looking at the others with a confussed expression. Scout jumped over and grabbed Cathal by the scruff of his neck and pulled him away.
"Do you have any idea how long this could last?" Scout asked Matrim, hoping he wasn't losing control of his powers.

"I have..." Matrim twitched slightly as the color of his skin became more green. "I don't know... It really depends...." He twitched again and his muscles began to bulge slighty and his clothes began to stretch.
Scout wasn't worried for himself, he could live through anything, but the others didn't have immortality, but if they were really what Scout thought he needed, they would survive.

"Don't attack him, just dodge all of his attacks, if he loses control." Scout told them in a mono tone voice. Sakura transformed into her normal self and they all seemed to brace themselves except for Scout and Quel, who seemed to be eyeing each others reactions.

OOC: No, Quel was sitting in the chair, and I don't like being thrown or sold... Maybe they have the Hulk? Who knows.

Sorry if my posts aren't too good lately, I'm tired because friends from overseas are staying with us and we've been going out and I've got heaps of homework from the first day back of school.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sakura started to think fast. She scanned her brain for what to do, she couldn't hurt him because he was an ally but he'd attack them if they didn't do something. A lightbulb lit up in her head witha "Ding!". She started to morph and soon lay on the ground as a long, thick coil of rope.

"Tie me like a lassoo and throw me at him, I'll keep him binded for as long as I can while you try to figure out a way to stop him." Sakura told the group.

Scout bent down and picked her up, tying her into a loop, he whirled it above his head before throwing it at Mat.

Sakura fell over his head and moved to be looped around his body and then constricted, he roared and tried to claw the rope off, Sakura wouldn't give up that easily.

"Hurry up, I won't be able to hold him for long." Sakura said with urgency.

She heard them talking as Mat continued to thrash around. After about 5-10 minutes, Sakura was thrown off with tremendous force. She landed on the ground and painfully morphed back to human, she had scratches on her skin from when Mat tried to claw her off him.

"Did you figure anything out?" Sakura asked, getting to her feet.

Tarius lepted to his feet. He stretched his arms out.

"Hang on..." Tarius told them, closing his eyes. He began to concentrate harder, and a black glow appeared around Mat's arms and chest, suddenly locking his arms behind his back. Tarius clenched his fist, trying to keep Mat that way. He had to keep his concentration, or he would lose the force field around Mat. "A little help here?" Tarius asked the others. Everytime Mat tried to push his arms out of the force, Tarius' arms where pushed too. Suddenly, Tarius' eyes shot open, and he began to walk forward, pushing Mat back to the wall. He pushed Mat back far enough, onto the wall, holding him there. "Can you hold him?" Tarius asked someone in the group.

"I can't hold him when he's on a wall..." Sakura said. Tarius gulped, but kept his arms out holding Mat against the wall, as he tried to break free and thrashing his arms around. Tarius was a fast thinker, so he pointed at a lot of wooden boxes, and they flew right up to Mat, making a wall around him and piling up. When it seemed like a wall of Boxes around Mat, Tarius made a black glow around the boxes. Now Tarius was holding a wall of wood by himself, and trying to keep Mat's arms behind his back.

--------
Cathal watched all this in total curiousity at Scout's side. In all the pandemonium, he'd began to think that Mat wasn't a good guy after all. No friend of his would harm his new companions. His ears bent back and he began to hiss as Mat roared through the piles of illuminated boxes. Scout looked down only in time to see him take leap at the scene. He held out a hand, but Cathal was too quick, taking on his cat speed.

He leapt to one of the floating boxes and then to another. Tarius felt a force upon him as Cathal applied his weight to what he was holding in place. Cathal got to the top of the boxes and began scratching at Mat's face. The beast roared in pain and anger, making him all the more furious. His strength suddenly grew greater than anytime before and he began moving himself and the boxes slowly. Sweat trickled down Tarius' face as he tried to hold the beast still.

Cathal became alert and leapt from his spot high above to a haystack where he hid. He only poked his head out to let out a simple "Meryah!" as if to call Mat a name. Mat finally busted through the shield of boxes and was released more. Tarius fell to one knee and breathed heavily. He'd done well, but the strength of Mat was too much.

All Mat could see was what the green beast was seeing. He could see through the beast's eyes but he could not control them. It was like watching a movie. Mat backed away. He looked around. He was in nowhere. A very familiar place when the beast emerged. Everything was white. It was an endless room of nothingness. There was nothing Mat could do except wait.. wait until the ebast settled down a bit.

"Or should I fight?" asked Mat to himself. Maybe he could fight the beast and take control while it was to busy with the others on the outside. He looked over to where he could see what the beast was seeing. The beast was struggling. Tarius seemed to have held it off but it had just broken free. Darn it. thought Matrim.

He saw Cathal jump out of a haystack to attack the beast once more.

"Cathal no!" yelled Mat. But Cathal could not hear him. The beast grabbed Cathal and looked it in the eyes.

Mat realized this was his chance. He ran at the screen and bashed right into it! It cracked.

~Outside the beast~

Cathal was struggling. But he saw something in the beasts eyes. They cracked up a bit and for a split second.. he saw Mat's face in the eyes.

"Mer... yah?" said the Cat-man. As if to say "Mat?". The beast then threw the poor kitty into the haystack and clenched his head. The beast screamed in pain as he was hurt on the inside.

~Wherever Mat is~

The room was shaking. Mat knew this meant that he was about to take his normal form again. Everything turned bright and when he opened his eyes he saw a familiar face. It was Sakura and Tarius was right behind her.

"He's back!" yelled Sakura as Mat got up, shaking his head.

"Uggh... " Mat looked over to the haystack. Cathal poked his head out, unsure if Mat would throw him again. He was only half Man. He didn't understand what had just happened.

Scout walked over to Matrim and helped him to his feet, he was bit shaky from fighting back, but he would be ok with in a minuet or so.
"Let's not do that again." Scout mumbled looking at Cathal, who hopped out of the hay once he figured it was safe to come out. "You did good, fighting against it I mean, but that won't always work..." Scout looked at the green jem that had now hushed from the buzzing. For a split second, Scout saw the green shadow of the beast past and it didn't look very happy.

"Hmph..." Was all Quel had to mutter, the others just stared at Matrim for a few minuets while he recovered his strength. Thanks to some herbs from Sakura's pouch he was soon on his feet and back to his normal self. "So, when will we be departing?" Asked Quel. They all had been seeming to want to know that, but Quel had released the question.
Scout nodded and pulled a scroll from his belt and unfolded it, revealing a [strike]Badly drawn[/strike] map of the land in the West. The group crowded around Scout as he began to speak of his plan.

"First we will go to Yanta, it is a small village I know of. There we can stock up on supplies, it will take a day or so to get there. They will be willing to help us... I hope." Scout then traced his finger over to a mountain range area. Even cathal seemed to be paying attention, even if he couldn't understand. "We will then pass through the Night Ranges. There should be a safe pass for us to cross through, maybe a few enemies, but nothing horrible, maybe just a Nitcal or two... We will then cross through the Northern area of the Eclipsed forest. The Kirche roam thereand arn't very friendly to most who pass, they are mainly in the South area, but still patrol the North. Then," Scout pointed to the large orb. "We will some how get past the thousands of enemies that roam the land and destroy the orb."
The others seemed to stare at him with confusion. Scout shrugged and folded the map up, placing it back on his belt.
"ok... I'm still figuring the last part out, but we'll come up with something."

"Now, it isn't even mid day yet...." Scout mumbled glancing up at the sky. "We should come across Yanta about... mid day tomarrow, if we get an early start...."

OOC: The path they take will end up changing because of certain obstacles and such. Who ever posts next can go on and have us traveling towards Yanta.

Quel stalked quietly through the dimly lit grove of trees. The area was mostly flat land, but this mini-forest had still managed to thive alone. By now the group of "misfits," for which Quel lacked a better word at the moment, had traveled quite a distance. The were finally forced to stop as the sun disappeared over the horizion. Everyone else was circled around a small fire to stay warm for now.

Using what little light still remained, Quel had set out to find some food. Within the trees he heard a small noise, and worked his way over to it to find a lone wolf hunting for its own food. Moving slowly, so as not to draw attention to himself, Quel got a better vantage point and aimed his hand at the beast. The silver fur of the animal's chest was suddenly discolored red, and it fell to the ground as the psionic arrow hit its mark. Quel walked over to it, said a small prayer of thanks and forgiveness, then lifted the wolf onto his shoulders and walked back to the group.

Everyone looked up as the misshapen shadow of Quel returned to the area. Sakura got a sour look on her face and said, "You didn't have to kill anything, you know. We have more then enough food to eat here." Quel did not even look toward her as he set the wolf on the ground and removed his dagger. "Fresh meat will provide more energy then the dried fruits and berries that most people carry. Also, the pelt will be worth trading when we get in town." As he spoke, Quel skinned the wolf and set the pelt to dry near the fire. Using three large sticks he set the wolf meat over the fire to cook, and covered the blood on the ground with dirt, so it would not attract any hungry creatures.

 • 2 weeks later...
Tarius looked around. He could see perfectly, his eyes had adapted to dark places. Tarius would eat meat, but not much, he wouldn't eat a wolf, he loved those creatures too much. The only meat he ate was what someone else had killed, he'd never kill an animal. Tarius sighed to himself and stood up, walking off.

"Where are you going?" Quel asked. Cathal purred, and ran around as if he was chasing something. Tarius turned back and shrugged.

"Too see if there's anything out there, you can never be too careful!" Tarius laughed. He walked away from them, and climbed into the nearst tree looking arouond from there. His eyes could spot anything in the dark, he was used to it. Tarius narrowed his eyes. He couldn't see anything coming, though he could feel something was wrong. He sighed, and flipped backwards out of the tree. "I think someone better keep watch over the night, I'll stay up and watch out for tonight, I'm used to it." Tarius said looking around still.
