To cut a long story short, I was looking around a few sites and I could not find anything on this.

Is there a new Sci-Fi Channel ?animated? show that will be coming out soon? I have seen the ad for it on the channel and I was wondering if anyone else has seen it? It looks kind of racy and sexual for something that is going to come out on Sci-Fi Channel. I am interested in it, does any one know if it is coming out soon, plus when and what time? I would love some feedback on it if anyone knows something about it.
Thanks for you time1

Are you talking about Tripping the Rift? The captain is a giant purple alien, he has a robot sidekick that is sort of modeled after C-3PO (in certain ways), and the one other alien that is. . well. . slutty? Oh yeah, and Darth Bobo?

If that is the new Sci-Fi series that you are talking, I want to see it (at least once). The movie that is floating around the web is pretty funny. I remember watching it like, 3 or 4 years ago . . I thought it was so funny!!

Some great one liners, thought I can't remember anyone's names (sorry). . but funny enough for the movie, not sure how it will do as a short series on Sci-Fi. I hope it lives up to some of it's hype. . it would be a shame to ruin that name (though, it's probably what will happen). *shrug*

[EDIT] - Oh yeah, it's more of computer generated imagery then an animation. . just saying ^_^ [/END EDIT]

I think that is what it is called; thanks.

Do you know any info as to when it is starting, what time it will be on, and ect??

I hear you on that; I hope that it lives up to its hype, too. What site was the movie on?

I was not sure what to call the style of the show.

Any ways if there is any more info that I can get I will greatly appreciate reading it.

EDIT: To avoid a spam warning: Thank You SIR KYLE for the Info.

Tripping the Rift is the new show based on a very humorous short film that premiered on Sci-Fi during a Top Ten sort of show for that kind of thing. I believe it was number one, if my memory serves me correctly.

The series dedicated to it will be premiering on March 4th at 10:30e/9:30c on the Sci-Fi Channel.

The basic plot of the show is nothing too spectacular but I do admit, when I shaw the short film I found it to be a good laugh. It's about a bunch of different aliens travelling the galaxy on a spaceship for no apparent reason while hilarity ensues on the way. There is the captain, who is bumbling but quick and snide, the whore type robot lady who is probably one of the reasons the show is going to be watched so much, along with a misfit crew that ensures a laugh or two when you see an episode.

Yes, the show is going to be a bit racy (so kids under 14, I think it's bed time) ::scoots all the kids off to bed and tuck them in:: Anyway, it ought to be a decent show, something the Sci-Fi channel really needs right about now.

I don't know what to tell you about getting a hold of the original short film. Maybe try atomfilms.com or go to a search engine and go from there.

EDIT: Also, scifi.com has all the info I just stated, in case you want further details or you forget about the thread. And fizz, no problem man. I'm here to help, or at least try my best.
