Anyone heard of the anime? It's actually from a manga and into a 26-series anime. A story about a forbidden love. A student in love with his master. It's about loyalty and sacrifices.
A student sacrifices himself to be killed instead of his master....

Can you provide more detailed information about this anime, and where did you heard or read aboit it? You have here only bits of information about it. I could very much think of the series as a Hentai tittle or a 12+ anime for what I've read.

By what it seems, it looks like a Real Bout High School merge with Ai Yori Aoshi!!

If this series is based on a manga, then I'd like to say that it's not the original story.

The story of the Condor Heroes is based on an old Chinese epic adventure series. To be more specific, it's the second part of the 2-part epic series. Over 10 years ago, the epic was made into a very successful TV series in Hong Kong. It's very good--I watched it all!

I don't really know that much about the anime, but it should have something to do with the original story--hopefully. And no, the emphasis shouldn't entirely be about forbidden love. There's martial arts, family secrets, and politics.

I'm quite excited about this show. Now...if only I can find a way to acess it!

I've been watching and enjoying Live-eviL's fansubs of this anime series as "Condor Hero." It is sort of low-tech but very enjoyable. As Monkey_Orange says, it's a martial arts series. The "forbidden love" is not some spicy shoujo romance, it's an epic love affair where not much happens.

I've watched the series. Um...This child was
brought up by his uncle because his parents died. One day his uncle brought him to a sect(sort of a martial arts school)where his dad and his uncle was trained.Because of his dad's bad reputation, his masters there treated him badly. One day he ran away. While wondering in the forest he saw a sort of house-like cave (it's like a cave. inside there's a house)He went inside and saw a beautiful girl playing a harp-like thing. He was attacked by insects and on the way back to the sect he saw an old man who taught him a technique. When he came back to the sect he was bullied and challenged by his masters. He used that technique to defeat them. He went back to the cave and saw an old woman. The woman adopted him. The beautiful girl was the old woman's master. The old woman died and left a wish to the girl: to take care of the boy. The boy eventually grew up and fell in love with the girl. (The girl doesn't grow old)
Well....that's it..

The boy's name is Yang Guo

The girl's name is Dragon Girl

It's good.......

Welcome to OtakuBoards! The next time you post, please remember to spoiler-tag important plot twists. Alll you need to do is type [*spoiler]text
, but without the asterisk. It's quite simple. ^_^
