Dagger
My limit is..... NONE you cant have a limit with anime. it unlimited
This, dear sir, is spam. Please take a moment to read OB's rules (they're only one click away!). Your grammar could use a bit of work, and I'm not certain whether you understand our minimum requirements for post quality. Anyway.... your desire to watch anime may indeed be unlimited, but the size of your wallet most likely isn't. Think about it. ~Dagger~
maikiratori
My limit is however much money I have at the time...LOL... Just kidding... Manga-wise my limit is about $3,000 a year, currently I'm spending about $1,500 a year, but that's only because I'm not working at the moment. Anime-wise my limit is I don't know... I mean I'd love to buy box sets and things like that, but I think box sets are way over priced. I mean $150-300 just for a box set of one season of an anime? I just don't see the point in dropping that much cash into an investment like that... I'd go up to $60 at a maximum at any one time (unless I'm spending someone else's money   ) I don't go out and buy anime nearly as much as I buy manga... Maybe because I see manga as a better investment (I love to read). Manga also happen to be cheaper...I just wish there were more titles that have already been translated... Oh well... C'est la vie. I know that once I've completed my collecting of any one particular manga title, I wouldn't mind collecting the corresponding anime, but that's a while down the road (seeing as I have no money for anything at the moment). Oh well, those are my limits so far!! ^^
yalborap
I barely ever spend any money on anime. I just don't have it to spend, even though the stuff is a gift of the gods. I just don't get a lot of money, and this month I spent all my money on art supplies(damn those prismacolor markers costing a million dollars even though they r0x0r my b0x0rs...)... 40 dollars on 12 markers... I should've just stolen the ones the people that work for my dad own...
Panda
My anime budget is actually fairly high compaired to most who have posted on this thread so far. I spend approx. $500 every other month. I know that sounds like alot but keep in mind this is my one entertainment expense. The budget includes magazines, manga, dvds, anime cons and misc. items like toys and collectables. For those of you wondering why I spend so much on anime it is because I really enjoy it. I worked my way through college so I wouldn't have student loans and work hard at my job today. I don't have any outstanding expenses because of this. Great credit, no debts, good job...it all equals extra money to buy what I want. And what I want is anime. :D My hubby and I could spend our money on going out on a night on the town...dinner, movies, drinks...and that one night would cost us approx. $100. That would be just for one night. Why not spend it on anime dvds that will last a lot longer?!

I don't know, but I think spending it on anime or other things like it would be a much better choice for me to spend all my hard earned money on... Y'know? TheGodlyME
I will spend all my money until I hit the blackest point of poverty...Which is what I'm gonna have to go and do because my tv just broke down :( (See ya later little Buddy...) Let me put it another way: I will buy it or acquire it in some way until there is nothing left that I haven't seen...
Guest DanteDemonSlayr
I dont like the fact that anime is so expensive. i dont wanna pay 20-30 dollars for three episodes of a show. The only reason I would pay a lot for an anime would be for the entire set.(speaking of which, does anyone know of a site to get the whole inuyasha series fairly cheap?preferably not ebay)

Their Japanese equivalents are astonishingly expensive (think $60+), and may contain a mere one or two episodes. I'd love to import some Japanese releases, but my budget simply isn't that flexible. It's technically impossible to purchase the entirety of Inuyasha, seeing how as the show is still running in Japan. At this point digisubs are probably your best bet (unless you're the kind of person who wouldn't mind paying for crappy bootlegs >_<). Have patience; I'm sure Viz will release some box sets eventually. In the future, please avoid asking where to buy a certain item. Cahoots34
Since I buy more manga than DVDs, I have a very small price range. If whatever I want is more than $20, I generally just lust quitely after it instead of buying it. Plus, lately, I've become accustomed to the teenage concept of 'social outings'; that is, going to see a movie or have coffee with friends. Having a life doesn't put _much_ strain on my wallet, but it is a drain that wasn't there before, so I have a renewed interest in budgeting for things that are relatively inexpensive.
