Vicky
Years ago, in a Medieval time, there was peace. Why? Because of the Guardians that called themselves Titans, each one having 3 element powers. They where born in the most bizzare places, like Volcanoes and the bottom of the sea. The Titans where said to be immortal, and everytime Evil took a step they arose and defeated it. The Titans where good friends, they knew each other well. In the Medieval times there was never such great evil, but they where wrong. A new group of evil arose one day, that called themselves the Apocalypse. Each of the Apocalypse had dark powers, and they used it at first to take over earth, bit by bit. The Titans arose and fought against the Apocalypse, only to know they where recruits from the Devil himself in hell. The Apocalypse where men and evil demons that where once alive, but from the tortured fires of hell they became pure evil and weilded the power of darkness. For years, it was a back and forth battler against the Apocalypse, until each Titan got together and used their powers in a hope to destroy the Apocalypse. They worked together, and on their final blow, their hopes where lost. Instead of destroying the Apocalypse, they cast them back into the realm of hell. Each Titan fell out with one another, blaming their friends for the happening. So, the Titans went back to their birth place to rest, until the Apocalypse would return, each one hating another Titan. In the year 2000, the Titans awoke again to find that the Apocalypse threatened to come back again, and the only way to defeat them this time was to unite with the other Titans. But their hate for each other overwelmed them. Now, as the Titans arise again, they must leave their differences aside, and work together once more, to defeat the evil sent down from Hell itself. Players: Vicky(me) as Aranel Arnex - Dark, Beast and Earth K.K.C. as Matthias - Lightning, Speed and Light Dragon Warrior as Dane Daskar - Death, Sin, and Night Crazy Ace as Slash Sniper - Fire (You have to go back and choose the other elements) Artemis as Artemis Leto - Water, Life, and Forest Cyriel as Mariyel - Sound, Sea, Telepathic Shy as Anima, known as Known as "Kara Richards" - Air and Thunder CrH as A-Jay McFallan - Ice and strength Crazy Ace you must complete your elements. ---- Rules: Good grammer please At first we all start off in our birth place I'll announce when the Apocalypse come No one's all that powerful Have fun! -- In the birth place, each Titan has different ways of being put to their sleep, like Aranel is a stone statue. You'll see. -- Here I go: The dark forest that is said only to be visable in the night was like a tomb of darkness, never being revealed to light. The treetops where full of dark birds, Ravens and strange creatures, while the ground was riddled with dark and dangerous creatures. In the very middle of the forest, there stood a large, black statue, of a man crouched down and looking upwards. Not just any man, but a Titan. It was the year 2000, and after almost forever, each Titan was said to rise, for the coming of the Apocalypse. A large, dark wolf came up to the statue and sniffed at it, the wolf's red eyes glittering in the dark. A sudden as the wolf came, a ray of sunlight somehow lit around the statue through the trees, scaring the wolf off. The statue itself began to lit up a golden glow, scaring off nearby animals, since it had been alongtime since they saw that much light. Suddenly, the light died down, and in the place of the statue, the real deal was there. Aranel Arenx, the Titan. Aranel looked around him, noticing it was his home. His eyes began to change, into the blood red eyes of a dark forest wolf, as did his body. Morphing was easy and quick, his body quickly shifted into a dark wolf. The difference between a forest wolf and a normal wolf? Forest wolves in this forest had been on the earth with the Titans for years, and where pitchblack, deadly, with a lust for blood. Aranel quicky leaped forward into the dark trees, running as fast as he could go. He had to find the other Titans, hopefully they would know why they awoke too. His eyes where adpated to the pitchblack, so he could see everything. As Aranel lept over a log, his body morphed into that of a Flax. That was another sacred animal that is said to be dead, along with the Phoenix and Dragon. Aranel could transform into them all, including the exsinct ones. Dark Wolf and Flax where still alive, but only in his home. Flax's where like tigers, but a lot bigger and a lot muscluar, with huge fangs over their mouths and deep green eyes. Aranel roared loudly, before speeding off again. After awhile, when Aranel had changed back to his normal self, he went out into the city, in search of the other Titans. -- We will encounted humans who try to kill us on this mission/adventure, theives, murderers, Army forces who want us out of the way and anything else. DeadSeraphim
"Apocalypse," he whispered in his sleep, his normally ice-cold brow damp with sweat and feverish. "The Apocalypse has returned... to destroy..." Suddenly A-Jay sat bolt upright. "The Apocalypse," he said to himself. He looked down at his large, shaking hands. 'They have returned.' Swinging his legs over the side of the 'bed' (in all truth it was really just a slab of ice) he tried to piece together the fragments of dream that still remained with him but they too were slipping away like sand between his fingers. All that remained was two words. The Calling. He was being Called once more. Getting to his feet he walked three painful steps towards the door before he had to stop. His limbs were stiff and cold, it would be impossible to walk any long distances at the moment. Yet, utilising the powers of old he had possessed since birth, he persevered, drawing small amounts of strength from people down in the village that had settled by the mountain. After a rough two hours going down the mountain A-Jay had wound up in that village, like a naked and imposing omen of doom. his first step was to get clothes, as his own had rotted off during his centuries long sleep, which he did immediately, choosing things of dark hues and paying with large gold coins from ages past. His second step was to leave the village. As the villagers were already shocked to see a tall, naked man come down from their sacred mountain, he didn't want to frighten them anymore, so, with great haste, he started the long weary walk to the lowlands, where the Blade of Onyx had been secreted. KKC
From the lightning in the sky As it passed me flying by, From the thunder and the storm, And the cloud that took the form When the rest of Heaven was blue Of a demon in my view. Matthias started to awake, it was coming back and he would be back on Earth fighting the demon like he had thousands of years ago. Matthias clenched his hands and opened his eyes to see lightning and thunder cracking and booming about him, it was time to leave this cloud. Matthias released his clenched hands and he was suddenly engulfed by lightning and static. As the electric currents started to enter him, become part of him, Matthias looked down at the island below him. Suddenly, he was released, a great bolt from the huge cload struck the ground, Matthias had become part of it and was now resting on his knees as the tide started to wash over him. He stood on his feet, slightly leaning in an odd position, rain drops spattered against him and another large bolt struck only a foot from where he stood. After the smoke cleared, a large black pole could be seen producing from the wet sand of the beach. Smiling, Matthias pulled it from the ground and sheathered it on his back. He then turned and faced the ocean, which was never calm because of the everlasting storm that raged above it. That's why the island deserted. Matthias took a deep breath and then plunged out ontop of the ocean, running at the speed of sound, he was easily able run atop of the water and glide aross the waves. He would head to where he sensed the thunder, where ever that might be.
Shy
"Paper or plastic, Miss Richards?" "Hm? Sorry?" "Would you like a paper bag, or a plastic bag to hold your groceries in? A thousand years had passed, and now this was my greatest concern. Anima, once a god among mankind had been subjected to living among them -- and I couldn't be happier. Life was simple these days, although the world itself had grown to be much more complicated. "Which would you recommend?" I asked the cashier, hoping for some advice in this complicated matter. The boy, he couldn't have been any older than 20, stared at me with an agigated look, and quickly shoved my purchase into a set of plastic bags. He handed me the bags, and moved onto the next customer, "Have a nice day," he muttered sarcastically. Blasphemy. Even in all of my time as a "mortal" I find it difficult to understand them sometimes. Can they not show respect to their paying customers, and help them through a difficult decision? Apparently not. Customer service is dead. I seem to remember my servants being particularily polite on Villa Anima. That was a different age, an age when I had power. Walking out of the store I paused for a moment, and looked back at the cashier. If this were 1,000 years ago he would have regretted hurrying me like that. Suddenly I felt a surge of wind rush in through the doors behind me. A display of paper towels had been knocked over in the wake of the gust, flying straight into the face of the cashier. A feeling of power coursed through my body; this wind wasn't random, I had created it. Without realizing it, I dropped my groceries and ran outside. The sky was calm and blue when I had seen it last, but now it was a dark gray color. Clouds were forming above me as the sound of thunder echoed through the air. The time of the Titans had returned, and so had my powers.
Onix
In the long since dormant volcano, something stirred. The ground cracked as steaming fissures broke the surface. Jets of flame errupted and magma rose, scorching the earth. And in the center stood a statue, unmoving for a thousand years, until now, when the magma burnt and melted the steel away, revealing the Master of the Forge Mekaryu. The metal pooled on the ground, forming a platform for the Titan to stand upon. Life again sparked in the vibrant amber eyes as the massive man stirred. He clenched and unclenched his fingers, the draconic metal hand on his left groaning with rust that flaked away. Mekaryu turned his head to the heavens and let out a great roar. "The Titans LIVE!" He swung his steel left hand into the red-rocked wall beside him, and it crumbled, revealing his massive bastard sword. He gripped the blade, and swung it into his other hand. "With this sword, the Soul of Dragon, I shall strike down those who cast me into this pit, and return them to their pit, forever more!" he roared, his voice low and powerful. "Come, my steed, Dragon of Flames! I summon thee!" A harrowing shriek rang out in the smoking crater, and a massive beast rose from the lava. With a mighty spray of flames, the massive, winged serpent rose, it's eyes flashing the same amber as Mekaryu's. It wound it's body near the platform of steel and snorted, letting Mekaryu know he could ride. The Master of Dragons and the Forge jumped atop the scarlet beast, gripping it's wing joints. "Ride, my Draconic steed. Take me from this molten crypt to the earth I should walk upon!" The Dragon roared and flapped it's massive wings, rising high into the air. It soared up and up, until the two crashed through the avalanche strewn rocks that had fallen and fused atop the volcano, into the sky, as the sun set. "Now, to my fellows!"
Vicky
Aranel looked up to the sky, and his mouth dropped open. He wasn't in shock, just the fact that the others where awake, now he could make his move. Aranel suddenly ran at full speed, onto the road where cars sped pass him. Suddenly, he jumped ontop of the nearst yellow car. The driver beeped his horn louldy, but in an instance Aranel jumped in the air morphing into a huge Eagle, before soaring off into the sky looking for the nearst Titan. Aranel flapped his gaint wings hard, trying to feel where the nearst Titan was. The clouds seemed to change to grey, and Aranel could feel that the Thunder and Lightning brothers and sisters had something to do with this. Aranel tried to follow the grey clouds, he kept a look out below. Suddenly, Aranel noticed a face he knew from below, that shouted one word to him: Thunder Aranel knew who it was, and as he swooped down, he felt a shadow above him. Turning his eagle head, he noticed it was a Dragon, and msot of all, Mekaryu was on top! Aranel quickly changed his direction and followed Mekaryu, then he would find the Thunder and Lightning siblings. Aranel flew alongside the Dragon, but in his eagle state he couldn't keep up. Mekaryu looked aside at Aranel, and Aranel looked at him, before his form changed again into a massive, red bird, with huge wings and long feathers, a Phoenix. Flying in front of Mekaryu, Aranel stopped suddenly, as did the Dragon, and the two Titans stared.
Crazy Ace
OK I'll use fire sight and flight Slash woke up. He exited his tornado resting place and flew down to the ground. He looked around his island home to soak in the beauty. The tornadoes surrounding the island home were clean and white and the numerous volcanoes stood out in their fiery majesty. Slash was rested and to the top of his form. He set himself ablaze testing out his powers that havent been used for a millenium. He flew up in the sky amidst the golden sun and thought. "The apocalypse is back. Its time to get my revenge. Slash used his super vision to scan the earth for his titan friends. "Bingo. There is Mekaryu and his dragons. Well, I might as well go to him first and we can find our comrades together. He isn't that far so this shouldnt be a long journey. Look out Apocalypse because Slash is back." Slash put himself ablaze again. This amplified his flying velocity. He flew from atop a volcano and he was off. He was a flaming rocket in the air. Blasting through the clouds. Flying was one of the greatest feelings for Slash and so he cherish his time up in the blue. After about an hour he saw Mekaryu atop his great beast. Slash turned on the after burner and within seconds he was with Mekaryu. "Mekaryu. Long time no see."
Onix
"Yes, it has been awile, hasn't it, Slash? A millennium, I believe," Mekaryu said sarcastically. "Come. Let us land and meet the siblings of Thunder and Lightning. Besides, we don't wish to cause a panic with a Dragon, Phoenix, and flying Man, do we?" "Uh, right," said Slash, decending. "And you," he said, referring to Aranel. "You can change to human form at any time. Speaking to a bird is rather unsettling." Upon landing, Aranel changed into human form. "And speaking to a Dragon is that much better?" Aranel said. "Yes, actually," Mekaryu grunted. "So, what's the plan?" asked Slash. "I told you, we find the Storm Siblings," growled Mekaryu. "Where?" asked Slash. "Anima is nearby, but I'm not sure where Matthias is," said Aranel. "Well, then let's get Anima and find ol' Lightning," said Slash, as if it was obvious, which it actually was. "That is the plan," said Mekaryu. "Then let's go!" Slash said anxiously. "Let's," growled Mekaryu. "Flame Dragon, I dispell you!" The massive Dragon let out a shriek and vanished in a plume of fire and smoke. "I summon thee, Riders!" Mekaryu roared. Three equine (horse-like) Dragons appeared. The Riders were weak in battle, so they were easy to summon. They also made excellent mounts. One pawed at the ground, churning up earth with it's talons. Another snorted and shot a small puff of fire. "Get on. We ride," said Mekaryu, flatly.
KKC
OOC: Arn't we all supposed to have trouble getting along  ? IC: Matthias soon came to the shore of a country called "The Unitted States Of America". What a silly name Matthias continued to run towards the power source in which he could feel Anima coming from. Either she was starting to wake up or already was. Matthias came to a screeching hault and peered at the sky, hoping to get any signs of where she might be. A short distance away he could see dark rumbling clouds starting form, they were moving very quickly by a large force of wind as well. "She is awake!" Matthias said aloud to himself, a passer by gave him an odd stare and picked up his pace when he heard him say this. Matthias just shrugged it off and soon was invisable to the eye because of his amazing speed. He sped off in the direction of the clouds and very soon came into a small city, she was very close now, he could almost be her power he was so close. The wind was very heavy and many people in the area were seeking shelter in there houses expecting a huge storm to come, which would probably happen. Just for the heck of it, Matthias sent a few bolts of lightning crashing from the sky, nothing too dangerous though. After having his fun Matthias began to look around hoping to see his sister, whom he hadn't layed eyes on in over a thousand years. A lot of trash was being carried through the wind, along with dust and soot as well. Matthias took a step forward, deciding to search for her when the dust settled down a bit, he squinted, not really believing what he saw. It was women with black hair, she stood standing looking at the sky as she seemed to absorb stength from it. Matthias walked over to her, stopping when he was a few feet away. She slowly turned and just stared at him. She was wearing dark blue jeans and white T shirt with a black vest over it. This was her, it was Anima... but she had not slept... Artemis
High in the Black Forest of Germany, a chilling breeze ruffled the leaves of an oddly shaped tree. If one looked closely, the bark almost had the features of a beautiful young woman. The breeze stirred faster and faster, circling the tree. That's when it began to really move, not simply branches swaying in the gale, but the trunk physically shifting. The leaves and branches began to fade away and the bark smoothed into skin. In a few moments, a powerful young woman in a leather jerkin stood where the tree had been just before. She lifted her head to the sky and closed her eyes in ecstasy. I'm awake! My powers have returned! She brought her head back down, and her brilliant green eyes glittered with an almost feral delight. There whisperings in the trees, in the wind, of the return of the Apocalypse and the reuion of the Titans. She placed her hand pensively on a tree next to her. A large, powerful stag approached her and bowed his head intelligibly. "I have to go, don't I?" she whispered to him sorrowfully. "I'm finally back, and I immediatedly have to return to war." The stag nodded and a shiver of understanding raced through the tree. "Alright," she said resolutely, "if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get." She bowed respectfully to the stag and raced off through the forest. Soon, she neared a cliff, but rather than slow down, she ran all the faster and lept off, suddenly switching form to a sleek, jet black raven with scarlet streaks that had matched her hair. I don't see why they insist on meeting on a completely different continent. I don't know what they were thinking. Soon enough, she reached the sea and dove into it, merging herself with the deep blue water. Traveling would be much quicker now. In moments, she as the Western edge of the Atlantic Ocean. She shot out of it, again in raven form to see a startled fisherman jump back in the shock of a bird popping out of the water where he'd been looking for lobsters. She grinned inwardly before returning her attention to her journey to the gathering Titans. I'm not sure who called us together, but he's getting a piece of mind very soon.
DeadSeraphim
OOC: I've made it so my character has encountered the humans in this post. He is yet to meet another Titan so if someone could stumble upon him...? ---------------- A-Jay was thoroughly confused. Standing atop a cliff, looking over a deep, secreted valley, a large structure of iron had been erected, with thousands upon thousands of wires connecting it to tall wooden poles. Around the structure was thousands of small buildings, as well as large caterpillar-tracked machines and men carrying small arms. Preceding all this however, was a large sign, reading: 'American Military Research: Private Property'. It seemed his sword had these 'Americans' interested. No matter. it would be a simple matter to get it back. He could sense it, deep below the earth, resonating, calling him so it may help destroy the Apocalypse. He raised one large hand in the air and set out a mental wave. And, as it always did, his sword responded. Deep in the base, a man in a long white coat was observing a shimmering an ancient boradsword, made of onyx darker than any seen elsewhere on Earth. It seemed to be moving, this was a new development. He took down notes as the sword vibrated more and more violently, shaking the very base it was attached to through thick titanium chains. Then it shot through the roof. The man stood bemused for a moment, as it drove a hole through the roof of the subterraen cavern, and natural light filtered down from the hole it produced. then he realized what had happened. "Code Red!" he screamed into a microphone on the control panel before him. A-Jay caught the sword out of the air, swingting it a bit. "Turn around and give up the sword!" said an amplified voice. A-Jay turned to see at least forty men with guns pointed at him, and one weilding a megaphone. He sighed. "Damn," he cursed. These things always happened to him. Cyriel
The sea breeze sifted towards her, lifting her hair as she breathed in the salty air. The bay was calm, and fog drifted over in small clouds. She could feel droplets of water forming on her face and clothes. And she could feel her elements changing...they had come back, reforming themselves to her shape, making themselves familiar once more ... and she could feel that the Apocalypse had come. Mariyel bowed her head towards the sea, and then walked slowly back to her hut. There was food on the threshold, and she picked it up and set it on the table. The villagers had been by again... They were so kind to her, letting her keep her privacy, and yet giving her gifts and caring for her needs. They also shielded her from the curiosity of others, tourists included. She knew the modern world...and feared it. Too timid, she supposed. "Must I go?" Mariyel asked herself, but she already knew the answer, could already feel the beck and call of the sea to answer her summons, answer the powers of the others with her own. To join her brethren and fight back against the coming darkness. In the end, she knew she would go; she must. But for now, Mariyel waited. She wouldn't go unless they needed it, unless they asked for help. Inside, Mariyel was frightened, nervous...and felt the guilt of eons... Two words stayed in her mind: ...I failed.... The past was with her, catching up to her, and she trembled to face it. She would wait.
Onix
The trio raced through the forest, following the storm clouds. They drew near a city, and noted that winds had turned the humans indoors and lightning fell from the sky. Thunder and Lightning walked. As he drew closed, Mekaryu recognized the form of Matthias, looking just as he had a milennia ago. But then he saw Anima, and shock crossed his face. She had not slept. She was dressed in modern garbs, and bags stuffed with strange packages lay at her feet. She was looking towards the sky, drawing strength from the heavens, from the winds and storm clouds. She was a Titan, yes, but her power was masked by the shameful form of a simple human. This is what caused the true fury of the forge to rise. "ANIMA!" bellowed Mekaryu, tugging hard on the reigns of his steed. It shrieked and reared on two legs, kicking it's talloned feet wildly. Slash and Aranel drew up behind him. He could sense their worry. "Anima! You wear the garbs of man! How?" questioned Aranel. Anima turned her face down from the sky, and looked at the Titans that had rode up. One the face of the Lady of Thunder was shame and fear. "I...I failed to sleep, so I joined the world of man," she said, softly as the thunder and winds would allow. "You have cloaked yourself in the guise of humanity!? How could you bring such shame to the name of the Titans!?" Mekaryu was outraged. He dismounted and drew his massive blade. "I...I am sorry..." Anima said. "Mekaryu, let her say her peace!" barked Matthias. The Lord of Lightning advanced upon the Master of the Forge. "She shall get no pity from me, Matthias!" snarled Mekaryu. "I am not telling you to give her pity, fool!" roared Matthias. "Simply wait before acting as excecutioner!" Mekaryu growled, but returned his sword to the straps on his back. Aranel and Slash dismounted swiftly, and Mekaryu dismissed the Riders. "Fine!" groweld Mekaryu. "She shall say her peace, and then we shall judge her fate!" OOC: Mekaryu has no respect for humanity, which is why he didn't engage in many battles along-side the other Titans. Also, I seem to be giving people nick-names. Mekaryu-Master of the Forge Anima-Lady of Thunder Matthias-Lord of Lightning. I have to make one for everyone now. Sigh. DeadSeraphim
OOC: This is where he finally gets to the others... ------------- A-Jay was caught in a bind. He sent out a call for the other Titans to help but none answered. He must've woken earlier than his brethren. With a sigh he said, "Leave now humans, lest I grant ye an early grave." "Never!" boomed the man through the microphone. "Now hand over the sword!" A-Jay sighed once more. "I warned ye." At once a solid wall of ice appeared before him, at least three metres thick and as clear as glass. The soldiers immediately fired at it, leaving it dented with thousands of small holes, but few reach through and fewer still could travel further than an inch once broken through. Calmly removing his coat and shirt A-Jay then sapped the strength out of half of the soldiers, his muscles swelling to gargantuan proportions. Unable to take in any more of their energy he smashed through the ice wall, letting the remaining soldier's bullets wound him again and again, until he was amongst their ranks, tearing them apart piece with blade and fist. He had killed at least twenty before the remainder retreated. It was then he picked up a tingling. Another Titan. He recognized it as the wind element of Anima, and it had appeared suddenly, as if it had been a light switch. Expelling the excess energy he got dressed and started walking in the direction of the woman, the bullets that had pierced his flesh dropping out of the air when his muscles became to small to accommodate them all. Though he foresaw it as a great journey, he knew his ancient body could easily endure such a distance. Travelling through the air by freezing water vapour where it was he made short work of the trip. And it was there he, standing high above the ground on a rapidly melting platform of ice, he saw Anima, being hounded by that fool Mekaryu. He had never liked Mekaryu. He leapt off his platform and landed with an Earth-shuddering thump. The other Titans turned to see the intruder but he made no sound. "Bah!" Mekaryu said, "Its just the idiot A-Jay! Explain yourself Anima!" A-Jay sincerely felt like beating that man.
Cyriel
Mariyel stood by the sea again, the mist wetting her face. Tears slid out of her eyes, and she wiped them away, not wanting them to be seen. The villagers watched her, she knew. They were puzzled by her odd behavior. She had been pacing too much, and they could feel her tension, the odd feeling in the air. The sea called to her. Go. Go to them. It is time. "No, I cannot," she said aloud. "They...they have not come. They have not asked me." They need to ask? You can feel it is time. She shook her head. She didn't need to go to them. They were coming. Quickly. Mariyel could feel their presence...growing closer, stronger. She lifted her head. Where were they? Were they here? No...but they...were close. She was surprised..to feel that she was almost..excited. She watched. Would they come?
Vicky
"Stop shouting!" Aranel snapped at them. "We all had our ways, there's nothing wrong with that! In fact, after we complete our mission, I might become one with the other humans too!" Aranel added. He folded his arms over his chest, but non of the other Titans showed the slightest bit of guilt. "First we have to gather the rest." Aranel told them. It seemed the others where still bothered about the past, most of them, not all of them. "Who made you leader?" One of the Titans asked, though Aranel didn't catch who. Aranel looked up, and narrowed his eyes. "I am not taking command of anything here, I never was. N-" He was cut off again, and it didn't look like even the Titans that where close friends to Aranel seemed to let the past go, they made a terrible mistake. "You're giving us orders again! You where always like this in the past, you where the one who made us fail!" Mekaryu said to Aranel. The others where on their own side, it seemed. Aranel backed up. "You can never work together! Just the thought of working with someone as powerful is too much, or am I just dreaming up all of your attitudes?" Aranel replied, almost as if he was saying it to all of them. Since Aranel said this, the others seemed to dislike him even more, maybe even Matthias. "So I suppose your reaction to everyone else is the perfect why to act? Do we all have to act like you?" A-Jay asked, maybe not even meaning it. Aranel sighed and looked down. "I didn't mean it like tha-" He began. "What did you mean it by then? I can do this alone..." Mekaryu muttered. Aranel looked back at the Thunder and Lightning siblings, and jumped into the air, and his body quickly changed into the form of an eagle with long, brown feathery wings. "Anyone who wishes to look for the other Titans without another disagreement, follow me, but the next person to start another argument at this time will see my bad side." Aranel said. DeadSeraphim
"You are a fool Mekaryu," A-Jay said as he began to walk away, taking the rough direction the eagle had. "Humans are not beneath us, they could be our greatest allies if we merely respected them." He turned to look back. "Already I have seen their power, staves that shoot lightning." Mekaryu spat at the ground. "What would you know Ice Giant? Holed up in your palace for centuries? You never know what they may do!" A-Jay shrugged. "It is your choice, but if you make the wrong decision, the results could be terrible." He turned his back on the group. "will anyone else follow?" he asked as he started to walk. Cyriel
Mariyel caught her breath, looking towards the horizon. Someone, she thought, is coming. Quickly. She rubbed her hands together nervously. Is this what I want? What if the others...are still upset with me? But she couldn't stop the others' coming any longer. All she could do was wait..and dread. She felt the presence grow stronger. It was growing so quickly, getting closer and closer. It didn't matter if they were on the other side of the world - sooner or later the others would find her, and she would have to fight. She would have to join, and fight...and face her fear. I cannot fail this time, Mariyel thought, closing her eyes. She tried to block out her memories, but they came rushing in like the tide. There was no end to the guilt. It was just a question of if the others would hold her responsible for their failure. My failure. Then she looked up again, and recognized the signature of power that was coming near. "Aranel," she whispered. Mariyel resisted the urge to flee, instead standing as still as a statue. She would not run. She had to face it sooner or later, and sooner would be better than later. How soon would they be here?
Artemis
They're searching. Artemis flew faster. She had no desire to face Aranel's wrath at having to look for her. Let's just get this over with. Soon, ahead she spied a large brown eagle speaking harshly to a group in human form. Aranel. Joining the group, she dropped to the ground, morphing into human form, now wearing black pants, a tank top, and boots, trying to blend in with the nearby modern humans. The Titan A-Jay glanced at her as she approached, "Well, Artemis, late as usual I see." "Go freeze something," she spat bitterly before turning to Anima, "What have I missed?" "Only a minor argument between Aranel and Mekaryu." "Damn! I bet that was good. So what are we doing now?" "If you're willing to accept my authority, Lady of the Forest, we're going to search for the other Titans." I saw that coming...
Ellerby
"Teen Titans!" screamed the Television. Silly show. thought Mat. They don't even know the half of it... He picked up the remote control to the TV. With the blink of an eye the TV was swtiched off and Mat got up towards his small kitchen. He opened the fridge. Nothing worth eating... Mat lived in a small apartment. Since he was one of the few titans who had chosen to pull off, I guess you could call it.. an All Nighter, he had been forced to live as a normal man. This did not bother Mat one bit except he kind of missed some of the Titans. Sure, some he hated but others he liked. It was hard. He closed the fridge. He lifted his jacket from the coat rack and walked out the door of his small apartment room, locking it shut. He had decided to take a nice walk. As he came outside he saw the strangest thing. High in the sky a shadow of some large birds passed by. "That's odd." said Mat to himself. Then it hit him. No bird could fly that high yet seem so close. That was a dragon! And Mekaryu was probably on it! The Titans were finally awake! Mat rushed into his apartment and ran into his bedroom. He opened his closet and opened a trap door on the floor. There was his staff; Trivia Time. He then rushed outside again to try and catch up with the others. They noticed him and flew down quietly. Aranel walked towards the nervous Mat. "Well, Matrim. You decided to join us?" said Aranel. "Yes. I wish so." "We are looking for the other Titans, Matrim; Sage of Time. Do you wish to come and help?" said Mekaryu. "Yes... that would be nice."
