ChibiHorsewoman
I possitively adore this show, both versions of it. True the British verson makes me search for some definitions, but it's still funny! My favorite actor on the American version is Wayne Brady. He does some of the best impressions and it's funny when they have him do songs on a moment's notice. I wish they'd come out with some new shows besides the re-runs, for all I know, they have but I work B shift so I wouldn't know if they have or not. So, does anyone else like or hate this show? Or even heard of either version?
future girl
I love this show, both versions. I'm most familiar with the American version because they took away my BBC though :( but it's still funny. My favorites are Colin and Ryan, those two are hilarious. There aren't many tv shows that can make me cry from laughing so hard, but this one does that, and it does it a lot lol. I'm not too fond of the song making unless they're all involved, like on a ho-down. It got a bit repetitive for me. I love it when they do the one where they take out a a suggestion from the audience in the hat, and the prop one is really good too.
Kinetic
I love this show so much :toothy: I watch the British version, but I prefer the American version because of the people. Colin, Ryan and Wayne are a must-have each show lol, and it's necessary to have an extra. I haven't watched it in a while though, but I should. James P. Galvatron
I love the american version I don't like the Brit version that much they show the British one on Comedy Central I live near the middle of the U.S. so I don't know where they show it elsewhere. I love the Carjacker Ho-Down that was real funny my fav. thing they do is when they use the props they had to do this fake thing for a dating service and what they said had to relate to the prop they had. Queen Asuka
I've never had a chance to watch the British version, but I'm quite fond of the American version. I used to watch it every week when it came on Fox, and now I watch all the reruns on the Fox Family channel. I like the episode where they each were assigned a character from Star Wars and each designated person was only allowed to say a certain number of words each time they spoke. That episode always make me cry from laughing. I wish they would make some new ones, with some more nifty comedians guest-starring. I saw some newer episodes (I think) where Drew Carey wasn't the host and it just wasn't the same. It was actually really lame.
SasukeUchiha
Lol, yes, this show is sooo awsome. My favorite character is probably Wayne Brady. I think he is really talented, he can sing and dance and act and do some super impressions. And I think he pairs up well wtih the other people on the show better than anyone else does. (If taht makes sense). But yeah, I love the show, and I hope to see some new ones soon.
Shinmaru
Heh, I'm quite familiar with both versions of the show. Comedy Central repeats the same episodes of the British version of Whose Line is it Anyway?, so I pretty much have those episodes memorized down to the word lol. The British version, of course, is a bit edgier than the American version, so I think it's a bit more enjoyable. That's not to say that the American version isn't funny, because it really is, heh. I agree with anatema that it can be a tad repetitive at times, since the same games are recycled a lot (there was lots of game recycling going on in the British version, as well). However, that doesn't really make the American version any less funny for it. Definitely recommended for those into improv...the games are fun to play, as well (I've played them more than a few times, myself hehe).
justAfan
Brad Sherwood is sexy and Chip Estes is my favorite guest, but Colin kills me. The scene with he and Ryan playing cat burglars just cracked me up. The funniest Whose Line moment, imo, was when Wayne Brday brought the woman out of the audience and when he lifted her up, her skirt came up and you could see her panties. As juvenile as it was, I laughed so hard that - no kidding - I puked. I have never laughed so hard in my life. ABC has "officially" cancelled the series, but Drew Carey says you never know when they might come back just as a filler show.
Epitome
Theres only one word to describe this show: Funny as hell... wait a minute, thats three but anyway its so funny. My favorite on the show is definatley either Colin Macory(sp?) or Wayne Brady. They are both hilarious. I actually had a chance to go to the Wayne Braday Show in LA but we didnt have time to go. But yes, the show is great, and I woud really like to see it in person sometime. And for the record, Drew Carrey is the best.
Kanariya
I have never seen the British Version, but the American Version is great anyways. Who's Line is it Anyway is so hilarious, though I hardly watch it anymore with my attention to the stupidest comedy shows that I like so much. (South Park, etc.) My favorite has to be Colin. He'll make me laugh whenever usually, and I enjoy it a lot. Wayne is next, and he, with his talent, makes the show even better. I love the buzzer. It's so cool.
Heretic_Hatred
I watch the american version of this show, and it makes me laugh most of the time. I've seen the British one, but it wasn't good in my opinion. I just got dont watchin this show 45 minutes ago. I usually watch it every week, and my favorite actors are probably Colin and Ryan, waynes cool too but i like the others better.
JCBaggee
Hilarious stuff, and its remarkable that they can improv as well as they do. We've done it in my acting classes and it never turns out like theirs do 0_o I like the three regulars (Wayne, Ryan, and Colin), mainly because of the banter with Drew. I'm not that big a fan of Chip, though. Greg Proops is great, and the episode with Robin Williams ranks high on my list of favorites ^_^ Does anyone know if theres any new episodes coming out? It hasn't exactly been showing up on ABC anymore... --Chris
