Art Inuyasha and Kagome

I got tired of watching Inuyasha chase a dead woman around, so I decided to draw this. The medium is completely colored pencil, including the black background. (I had five hours to kill on a train)

Especially the dark background, all in pencil? man that's dedication, it's well laid out, vibrant, good use of color and whatnot.

I was trying to think of ways you could improve this piece, and the one thing I came up with was the white underneath the characters legs, I'm not too sure wha effect you had in mind exactly, my guess is some kind of shadow effect.

They both are very well drawn and colored well, but like Anime Otaku and Shinji had said, the white shadow thing looks a little weird.
What I am amazed with is that you can draw roses. They are very pretty, especially the purple one. The color of the leaf is nice.[/size][/color]

Five hours to kill on a train, neh? Yeah, I see. That's what I would do, draw draw draw. Yup. *nods*
That's a really nice pic, and I'm guessing you drew that from your head, which is really awesome. I can't draw characters from out of nowhere very well...oh well.
The whole pic makes me think of Dearest. That'd be a good shot to put in that ending song, wouldn't it? ^^

[size=1][color=darkblue]Now that's what I call an awsome drawing. ^^ I really like it. Yes, the white shadow thingys to looks a little out of place, but it doesn't bother me that much. You did a wonderful job on the two of them, personally I like Inuyasha better though. For some reason Kagome seems in an akward position, but I can't quite put my finger on what's making it seem that way.
The background flowers are amazing, heh, I can't draw a flower. ^^;; I also normally need to be looking at a picture of a character when I try to draw them, unless it's an idea that pops int my head for a new one.
This is grand stuff here, I can't wait to see more of your drawings![/color][/size]

Kagome's neck is a little long, and the way her knees are bent seems awkward. At first glance her eyes seemed wrong to me somehow, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked the style of it. Inuyasha's cheeks are a little TOO red, which makes it look less like blushing and more like he has Indian war paint on or something. XD

I'm very nitpicky, but this is actually quite a good picture. I like it.
