RPG Final Fantasy X-3 [PG13]

[color=blue][i][font=century] Saigo stood on the deck of the ship he was on traveling from Besaid to Luca. The sun was high in the sky, probaly midday. The sound of a bell somewhere off in the distance rang out across the town, and the Blitzball stadium came to life.

"Damn, HURRY UP YOU OLD GEEZER!" Saigo shouted at the captain of the boat, "I'm gonna be late!" Saigo reached down and felt for his sword. Gripping it tightly he turned towards the captain.

"If it's gonna take this long, I'm just gonna swim the rest of the way, alright? It would obviously take a lot shorter time than waiting on this boat for you to HURRY YOUR ASS UP!" The captian didn't seem to hear him. Saigo sighed, "Ugh, hard of hearing, eh?" He looked at the stadium, now brimming with shouts that could be heard as far out as saigo stood.

"What's that mommy?" A little child next to Saigo questioned his mother, pointing up. Saigo couldn't help but look up, and gasped.

''Everyone that's not armed get below deck now!" Saigo yelled urgently. A huge creature dived at the boat, smashing into the hull. A huge plaintering sound was heard, and water rushed on to the deck. Saigo slipped onto his back and caught sight of the air, which was teeming with flying creatures.

"I knew this would happen!" Saigo moaned as the creatures began to dive bomb the city. The boat was nearly submerged, and Saigo noticed severla bodies lying motionless in the water. Saigo ran over and grabbed the lifeboat, which was machina powered.

"I have to come back for these people later...." Saigo regretted as he headed towards Luca. "This is gonna be a long day..."

Zera was riding on his chocobo to luca. He had hoped to watch a game of blitz ball and get some rest before he had to leave on his trip again. As he went to luca he saw fiends attacking luca.

"Well I guess we've got stuff to do zonama" zera said.

Zonama nodded and started to run faster. Once they got to the outside of luca zera took got off of zonama and took out his naginata. Some fiends dived bombed at him. Zera brought up his naginata and slashed some of them. Zonama jumped on the ones he missed and started cutting them up. Once they finished them they ran into the city.

Jim was bowled over as the fans an crowds of peolpe who ran from the stadium to get away from the monsters. The players had been trapped inside the water orb and couldn't escape as the monsters dived at them and ate some of them as well. Jim looked on with horror as the stadium collapsed and how monsters took over thw whole area. Even outside the stadium there was mas pandimodium and chaosJim took his staff out and twirled it a bit. Once all the players left the orb, only monsters were stuck inside the water.

"This....this shouldn't be. Death and destruction can only bring pain and sorrow...I WONT LET THAT HAPPEN" Jim yeled as he waved his staff in the air, clouds appeared and lightning struck the orb electircuting the monsters. HE was then struck on the side by a monsters claw, it left a deep cut by Jim could still fight. It was a wolf like creature that wa foaming at the mouth and had big muscles.

"This might be a problem" Jim stated as he held his ground.

[Kayin Cloud]

"Watch where you're going! Lemme through!" Kayin was rushing through the panicking stampede of a crowd, almost being trampled. He had made it through the crowd into the main stadium and unsheathed his katana. [I]How could these fiends just show up like this? What the...?![/I] He notices a man across the stadium being attacked by a strong fiend.

"Hey you over there! Hold on for a second, I'll be right there!" Kayin makes a mad dash for the man under attack and avoids making contact with any other fiends. Kayin slashes the large fiend and sends him backwards with the recoil. He confronts the injured man. "Are you okay? Take this potion so we can fend it off at the least."

[color=teal]Sylvanna stood alone on a tall pillar of Luca's main BlitzBall Stadium, serveying the chaos that stood below her.
[i]When will people learn to read the movements of the fiends?[/i] she thought to herself.

Sylvanna was a lone wolf. She chose to keep her distance from most people, as her knowledge of the fiends was often shocking, and earned her some strange looks.

She had been following the patterns and movements of the fiends towards Luca for some time now, and although she had warned the officials about the danger of holding a BlitzBall Tournament at the current time, they had ignored her.
She had explained the movements of the fiends to the officials, but again they had ignored her.
They were so wrong to do so.

Sylvanna looked down on the mayhem beneath her.
There! Someone was being attacked!
A large wolf-like fiend (extremely strong-looking too) had attacked a Black Mage.
The poor kid had just done so well in electrocuting the fiends in the Blitz Sphere too...
[i]Maybe I should go down and help...[/i] she thought.
She made to leap off the pillar, but another movement caught her eye.
A boy, who looked around 20, rushed to help the Mage.
He pulled out a Katana and slashed at the wolf-like fiend.
'Wow, he's pretty good...' Sylvanna said to herself.
In the end, she decided to jump down and make herself useful.
She knew the way the wolf fiends moved, as they were more common around Kilika, her hometown, and she had studied them at a small child.

The fiend snarled as it got up after being hit by the katana-boy.
'Just take the potion already!' he was urgently saying to the Mage.
'Alright then' the Mage took the potion and got up.
Sylvanna was about 50m away from the scene, and the fiend was about to attack.
'Look out you idiots!!' she screamed.
The two whirled about to face the fiend, but it had already taken a swipe at them. Spit flew everywhere as the fiend lunged.
'Be careful of it's saliva, it has a disolving poison secretted somewhere along it's tongue. If it's spit touches you consider a limb gone,' Sylvanna said as she drew her sabre, coming up alongside the boys.
'Deadly slag, got it,' said the Mage, 'Anything else you could help us with?'
'Apart from that, you just have to follow it's movements. If it swipes, it'll wait until you attack before it goes for you again. It normally bites randomly, so be on your guard.'
[i]Damn it![/i] she thought. She was being a knowitall again.

The beast snapped at Sylvanna, and she dodged swiftly to the side, lashing out with her sabre at the same time.
The fiend turned around and made to run, but then leapt over behind the three.
The katana-boy took a slice from the fiend's side, and blood oozed from the open gash.
The Mage swung his staff over his head and onto the creature's own.
It was down.

'Thanks for the info, uhh...sorry, what's your name?' the Mage asked.
'It's Sylvanna, and don't worry about it. Your names are?' she replied.[/color]

[Shwa]

"My name is Jim, it is very nice to meet you both" Jim introduced himself to the two.

"I'm Kayin" said the Katana-boy. They all looked at eachother with either a smile or a straight face. At the moment things seemed a bit more quiet in the stadium, but outside there was more panic and chaos.

"It's a good thing you two showed up, i dont think i could have taken that thing down all by myself" Jim stated as he rsted his staff upon his shoulders.

"Just remmber its movements and you'll be just fine" Sylvanna stated. They all then looked at the sphere with all the bodies of the monsters layed shocked by the lightning.

"Quick thinking there kid, using the elements on your side" Kayin said as he put his word back in his sheth. Jim got little embarrased and blush a bit, but then snapped out of it.

"It seems like you two know more about how these's things got here and about them as well. But I think we should get out there and start helping the innocent people who might get hurt" JIm stated. The three nodded at eachother and ran out of the stadium and were shock to what they had seen. Fires broke out through the city and screaming everywhere with sirens rushing to near by places. Feinds ravaged the land as it was their own and killing anything in the way.

"This...this is horrible" Jim said as he sank to the ground on his knees and looked upon the city being destroyed.

"Dont worry little-one, thing will get better" Sylvanna stated as she looked at Kayin with doubt. Jim got up and they all went into the heart of the city.

Zera slashed down another fiend. He didn't know where they were comeing from but he figured that he'd find out soon enough. He ran through the crowd of panicing people and saw another fiend. It was a bomb that was chasing people around. He ran up to it and slashed at it. the bomb fell back a bit then got bigger. He slashed it again and started running. The bomb went off as more fiends showed up.

"I wonder if there is any one else fighting the fiends" zera asked him self.

Zonama came up and tapped him on the shoulder. Zera looked back to see what zonama wanted. It pointed to a group of people heading to the center of luca.

"I guess there fighting the fiends. Might as well join them" zera said.

He got onto zonama and went after them.

[Kayin Cloud]

Kayin returned his doubtful look to Sylvanna as he surveyed the area, completely ablaze. "I can't understand how things got so out of control. Well, how should we go about this: Head-on attack or Tactical advances?" Kayin cracked his knuckles with a look of vengeance upon his face. "If we go head-on we have a higher risk of being killed among the other people. Tactical attacking is probably the way to go but I can't think of how to do this with this chaos about. Sylvanna, was it? What would be the best type of fiend to attack first? You seem to know a lot more about them than I do, so it's your ca..."

Just as he was about to finish another wolf-fiend caught glimpse of the three, and began to charge at them full blast. "Here we go again....Jim, you okay to fight?"

"Yeah. I'm ready for this one unlike last time." Jim replied.

Kayin turned to Sylvanna, "Sylvanna, we're following your lead."

Sylvanna nodded, "Understood..."

[Shwa]

The wolf-like creature snarrled a bit as he drooled all over the place while looking at the three fighters. Jim was in the left while Kayin in the right and Sylvanna in the middle (battle system i guess).

"I'll give this a try, i've havn't had much practice with this spell so bear with me...Barrier" Jim said as he held his staff in the air. A shiny bubble appeared around each of the three, it made the monster a little mad and it started to scream and yelled a lot. They all stood there ready to fight.

"This is great, it'll provide a bit of protection for a while" Kayin stated as he stood his ground.

"There's just a problem,it's based on some of my life force and I haven't got a lot of it, so if they all break i won't be able to fight...it'll be too much" Jim stated, Sylvanna and Kayin looked a bit shocked once they heard the bad news. The wolf creature then spat some of its posion saliva at the three, it didn't effect them much thanks to the barrier except Jim's and Kain's, theirs broke apart at impact. Kayin looked shocked while Jim fell to his knees gasping for air like he's been running really fast.

"Its powerful" Kayin stated as he looked at Sylvanna, but she was worried about the monster and the barrier. When it striked she tried for it not to hit her at all so it wouldn't hurt Jim. Suddenly it went wild and turned all red and attacked anything it saw, Jim wasn't able to move in time and he closed his eyes...

*Woosh* Jim opened his eyes to find he was picked up by someone and moved away from the monster.

"Hey I'm Zera, are you ok?" the guy asked but Jim was too shocked to reply. He put Jim down and joined the others in the fight.

"Thanks..I'm Kayin and thats Sylvanna" Kayin said and Sylvanna nodded. Onced the monster roared atgain they were in fighting position again. Jim looked on from the side.

"Be careful guys" Jim said as he continued to pant. Now they had someone to help them get rid of these monsters.

[T man]

Zera got off of zonama's back and took a fighting stance. He had faced the type of fiend they were fighting before so he had some experience with them. The wolf creature charged at them. Zera dodged to the side and zonama tackled it. The wolf fiend skidded back and growled.

"So do you guys know why all these finds have showen up" zera asked.

"We have no clue yet" kayin said.

"Then we'll keep batteling till we find out" zera said smilling.

He ran up to it and started slashing at it. He stopped for a second to get into a different stance and the fiend took the moment to strike back. Zera jumped back as it ame close to biteing his leg. He moved back a bit and took a defensive stance.

[size=1]'YOU IDIOT!!!' Sylvanna screamed at Zera. 'If that wolf's slag so much as touches your exposed skin, you'll have a hole through your leg!!'
Zera leapt back to the group.
'And what makes you think it'll get me?' he asked.
'Let's finish this later.' she said as the wolf charged at them again.
'It has somehow cast Beserk on itself, so it's strength has doubled. No wonder it broke through Jim's shields.' she stated matter-of-factly.
She leapt over the wolf-fiend's head, landing on it's back. This enraged the beast even moreso than before.
'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!' yelled Zera and Kayin simultaneously.
'Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. This'll serve as a distraction, and it can't reach me. You guys can attack it without worry!' Sylvanna called to them.

OOC: Tag, you're it![/size]

[Shwa]

Jim looked on from the side as he watched the others try to defeat that wolf-like creature. Jim was still weak from when his barriers got broken at the beginning but was still puzzled how they broke that fast. Jim looked on the ground...there was a bottle that had some green liquid inside of it but only a little. It was a potion! Jim decided to take a sip and save the rest for later, he then felt a bit stonger and was ready to fight again. He picked up his staff and joined the other in the fight, they were too occupied to notice he had joined them until the did see him.

"Jim...you shouldn't be fighting now, your not fully recovered" Sylvanna stated while the others nodded.

"I'll be fine, I cant let your guys fight alone" Jim replied

"But you know if Sylvanna's barrier breaks then you'll barely be able to stay concious" Kayin stated, but it didn't matter to Jim...he wanted to help stop this beast. He then twirled his staff in the air and clouds formed overhead and pointed his staff to the beast, then lightning struck him three times. Once the smoke cleared he was still standing, everyone loked shocked except for sylvanna. The beast continued to get red with rage and more muscled formed all over his body, to make it worse, anoter wolf creatured came from behind Kayin, Zera, and Jim. They jumped over the already mad one and joined Sylvanna and were cornered.

"How can this be?" Zera asked the others

"When it was yelling a lot, it was calling for help" sylvanna replied, they all defended themselves as the creatures came closer to them.

[Kayin Cloud]

"This is no good. We can at least take one out alone, but...two!?" Kayin was thinking of how he can protect his allies without being too reckless. [I]Sylvanna's safe, meaning Jim's safe from passing out. I need to find a way to stop the berserk one first.[/I] "Jim, have you learned Esuna yet? If so just use it on the berserked one to make the fight easier." Kayin asked.

"Yes, I have. Are you sure it'll work though?" Jim replied.

"Good question...Sylvanna do you know if it will work?"

"I'm pretty sure it will." She said still bracing herself.

"Alright, Jim try it out." Jim twirled his staff in the air again and now removed the Berserk status from the fiend. "Great! Jim, stay back for now. Zera, follow Sylvanna's instructions and we can win this fight."

[size=1][i]Wow...these guys are pretty good. But they'll still need my help...[/i] Sylvanna thought.
'Zera, you attack the main fiend, the first one, from the left! Kayin, you attack it from the right! I'll leap behind it, and we all attack on three, got it?' she said to the boys. They nodded.
'Why aren't you attacking the other wolf? Won't it try to protect the main one?' Jim asked.
'The main fiend gives orders to the one it called for assistance. If we take this main one out first, the newcomer will be confused.' she stated, sounding like the knowitall she was.
'Ok, on three, we move into positions, then on the second three, we attack. Got it?' she asked Kayin and Zera. They nodded again.
'One, two...three!' she let out an earpiercing war cry as she leapt over the fiend again.
Zera dodged around it as it took a swipe at him, and Kayin just managed to duck out of the way of flying saliva.
'Ok, in positions?' she called.
'Yep!'
'Check!'
[i]Check? What's he on about? We're not marking off a list![/i] she thought as she counted to three out loud 'Ok, one! Two! THREE!!!'
All three fighters moved in for the kill.
Just as the fiend turned around to face down its opponents, Sylvanna started to whip her sabre through the air with fierce, defined movements. This distracted the fiend for a few seconds.
Kayin and Zera took their chance to attack.[/size]

Jim syated back as the others got into formation and attacked the beast. But there was still the problem of the other one, it was just standing there looking on its leader getting attacked. The others seemed to have weakened it a bit and it was on the gorund drooling a lot, but the drool burnt the gorund wherever it touched. Suddenly, Sylvanna and the others made the final attack and killed the beast before it got back up again, then they back off from its body.

"Good thing you know a lot about them" Zera complimented Sylvanna as they gathered together again. The other wolf-creature stood over the body of its leader. "What now?" Zera asked.

"Usually they just leave, i dont know why this one is still here" Sylvanna exlained as they held their ground like they were waiting for something. The wolf creature drooled over the dead one and whimpered a bit...then out of no where it started to bite the neck of the dead creature and toss him around spreading blood everywhere. Jim turned away and covered his eyes.

"Why is it doing that?" Jim asked with a worried voice. Sylvanna was just stunned, it wasn't normal for them to do something like this. The wolf-creature then glowed super bright red, like it used berserk on itself more than once..it drooled and its muscles grew their normal sized. He had become tougher than its leader had been before. Jim twirled his staff again and casted a barrier on everyone not knowing if it would protect them all. The creature let out an ear-peircing cry that shook the area, he formed it into a beam and launched it at the group as they covered their ears. After about 10 seconds all the barriers had been shatered by the sonic boom of the monster, it was too much for Jim and he lost conciousness right there.

"We gotta get out of here" Kayin said as he picked up Jim, the group jumped over the creature and left the area while it still fired its sonic booms at them. The came to a harbore where more feinds have ravished the area.

[Kayin Cloud]

"I have a feeling you didn't know they could do that, Sylvanna, nor as to how it casted a level 2 berserk on itself by eating its dead leader from the look I saw on your face." Kayin looked through his bangs and saw Sylvanna, still with a curious look on her face. "Jim, you should have stayed down so you'd be safe, but I'm glad you didn't listen to me. If not for you and Sylvanna we probably wouldn't have been able to beat that thing."

"Thanks, Kayin," Jim said blushing again. "So what do we do now? With that thing more powerful than usual we can't just let it go raging through the rest of Luca."

"Good question. We may have to retreat unfortunately," Kayin responded grimly.

"Retreat!? You tryin say we can't beat that thing!? You sayin we can't beat that thing!?" retorted Zera.

"All that I'm saying is we can't just go being reckless. If we do, then our death will be inevitable. Understand?!"

"Whatever...," Zera said under his breath.

A noise came from behind the group, and the cause of the noise divebombed Kayin into the ground. It was a large flying fiend, and soon to accompany it were two dingo-like fiends. Kayin jumped up from the ground calmly, "Forget the other fiend. Let's take care of these three...the flyer is mine..."

[Onix]

Tenkazu backed up against the wall of the arena, surrounded by wolf-like fiends. He grimaced and held up his already bloodstained katana. A bead of sweat formed on his cheek and dripped off his chin.
He moved.
Through years of training in the quick-draw art of [I]Iaijutsu[/I], he had become a master of speed when wielding a blade. And though he wasn't drawing, he still managed to take down two fiends with one blow, injuring two others.
One of the fiends lunged for him, and he danced aside, tracing the [I]Taiyo no Katana[/I] along its ribs. The beast whimpered and crashed to the ground.
Another beast lunged at him from behind. It crashed its massive bulk against his back, knocking him to the ground. Tenkazu grunted in pain from the fall. The remaining three fiends advanced on him as he struggled to his feet. As he rose, he resheathed his blade. Two of the fiends cocked their heads in confusion, but the other continued forward. Tenkazu rested his right hand on the hilt, the sword hanging on his left. He slid into his favored pose for the situation.
The beast took this as a threat and lunged, jumping into the air, making to pounce on the seemingly defenseless warrior.
It never made it to him.
With a fierce cry, Tenkazu drew his blade with blinding speed, decapitating the beast. He dodged the falling corpse, spun, twisted the sword in his hand to face behind him, and stabbed the katana up into the throat of another fiend.
Upon seeing its two comrades despatched so quickly, the other fiend turned and ran, seeking a weaker target.
"No way!" yelled Tenkazu, running at the beast.
He jumped high into the air and, with expert precision, drove his sword down into the fiend's spin, paralyzing its back legs. But he drove the blade further, and it traveled down through the monsters gut, ending up jutted out of the beasts stomach, dripping a considerable amount of gore.
Upon landing, Tenkazu wrenched his sword out of the wolf-fiend's body and flicked some of the blood and flesh away with the traditional [I]shiburi[/I] motion.

[Kayin Cloud]

Where is everybody?

Kayin used a jumping vertical slash and cut the flying fiend into two. "Now for those two. Any suggestions Sylvanna, they seem weak, but I don't want to assume."

"They're weak alright, but they are fast," Sylvanna replied.

"Jim, would you like to do the honors?" Kayin had turned to Jim who was already preparing a Thunder spell. "I guess you do..."

"Yup. I'll take 'em out myself," Jim twirled his staff about and casted Thunder on one and then the other. "Told ya!" He said arrogantly.
