The clone wars have been raging across the galaxy for three years now. After the surprise victory for the Republic on the remote Outer Rim world of Geonosis, which was also a major manufacturer of Trade Federation battle droids, the Separatist movement nearly collapsed. Only though the tactful leadership of Count Dooku were the various trade guilds, planetary systems and species held together under one banner.

Chancellor Palpitine, his term in office greatly extended by this war, has called upon the Jedi knights to lead the clone army created on Kamino. With great reluctance, and strong opposition from some on the Jedi High Council, the order accepted this burden. Since then, almost a tenth of the Jedi have been killed in the war.

However, the politically fractured senate is divided over how to fight the war. Most don?t want to use their credits to finance battles taking place outside of their home sectors. This has become a huge problem, as most Outer Rim worlds aren?t members of the Republic. This has given Separatist forces a relatively safe base of operations from which to strike at the core.

This has driven the war into a stalemate; with the Republic unwilling to pursue it?s enemies into the Outer Rim and the Separatists unable to penetrate deep enough into the core to make any decisive attack. To break this deadlock, Count Dooku has amassed a large force of Trade Federation, Corporate Alliance and Banking Clan starships for an attack on the manufacturing world of Mechis III. This planet is where the blaster rifles used by the Republic?s army are being mass-produced, along with other vital war supplies. The Separatists hope that by rendering the Republic?s army weaponless they can force a quick surrender.

Tipped off to this impending attack by unnamed spies working for Chancellor Palpitine, the Senate has agreed to allow a force of a few thousand clone troopers and a unit of Jedi to defend the planet.

For this RPG, you?ll be allowed to choose between three character types: Jedi (Masters, Knights or Padawans), ARC Troopers (Advanced Clone Troopers similar to commandos) and Separatist generals (Banking Clan, Trade Federation or Corporate Alliance). Any other character type will be instantly rejected unless special arrangements are made with me via PM or AIM.

The only movie characters that you may choose from are Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. To obtain these parts, you must special arrangements with me via PM or AIM.

Sign ups will remain open until Friday, at which time the play version will either be put up or the RPG will be scrapped due to lack of interest.

[b]Biography:[/b] Unlike most Clone Troopers, ARC Troopers (Advance Recon Commandos) were designed for highly dangerous and behind enemy line missions. Few were trained since they had to be trained personally by Jango Fett, and ever since his untimely demise they have been used sparingly only on their Homeworl Kamino during an attack from Separatists. They were also activated on Muunilinst and Jabiim in attempts to end the war in swift victorys. These attacks did not end the war, though they did manage to get a number of powerful separatist allies out of the way. On all three campgiens, ARC Trooper #16 has played a part and has survived the battles. The ARC Troopers have once again been deployed in order to be garrisoned in the manufacturing planet of Mechis III to stop a separatist attack.

This craft is a Geonosian vessel constructed for Count Dooku as a gift, but propelled by a mysterious ?sail? made of unknown material. The craft is relatively small, most of it?s space taken up by the cockpit and the Count?s quarters. Maneuvering thrusters are also present on the hull for atmospheric descent. This vessel is unarmed.

[b]Biography:[/b] A former Jedi Master who left the order four years prior to the beginning of the Clone Wars, he disappeared into obscurity once he left the order.
There are no records of this time in Dooku?s life, something he is very grateful for.

Count Dooku left the Jedi order because he?d become increasingly frustrated with a sense of darkness that was hanging over Coruscant. After countless hours researching the Sith, which he assumed were the only group powerful enough to create such a disturbance, he discovered several Sith Holocrons hidden deep in the Jedi archives. As a Jedi Master, he was authorized to use these powerful ancient relics. Convinced that he?d be able to resist the temptations contained within, he touched the holocron.

He spent three weeks of intense study working with the holocron, in which he learned a great deal about the Sith. He presented his findings to his old master, Yoda, and tried to get permission to investigate several high-ranking Coruscant officials as part of his search for Dark Jedi. Yoda wisely refused, citing political unrest that could worsen should wind of this investigation get to the press.

His pride hurt by his rebuke, Dooku left the order. He spent two years secretly investigating high officials of the Republic, convinced that one of them would be a Sith seeking to gain power through the Republic. The Supreme Chancellor assisted him during his investigation, going so far as to allow him full access to the senate.

During this time, he became good friends with Chancellor Palpitine. The two discussed the Jedi and their role in the galaxy. Dooku was astounded by the Chancellor?s insight and wisdom. Slowly, the chancellor twisted Dooku?s view of the Jedi from defenders of the republic to protectors of a dying, ineffective government. He advised Dooku to do something which he would have never considered doing just a few years ago. To seek out the Sith. Maybe Dooku could use them to destroy the Republic and create a new more effective government. Then, the Sith could be destroyed.

Dooku left Coruscant and scoured the galaxy for the Sith. Eventually, he came upon the Nemodian Viceroy of the Trade Federation. The Viceroy claimed that a Sith Lord on Naboo had betrayed him during the Blockade Debacle. Upon further research, Dooku found that both Banking Clan and Corporate Alliance leaders had also dealt with this Sith Lord, known as Darth Sidious.

In the end, it was Darth Sidious who contacted Dooku. Dooku, as per Palpatine?s recommendation, revealed his plan for a Separatist movement to the Sith. Sidious agreed, and promised to use his influence to assist Dooku.

Three months later, the battle of Geonosis took place. Dooku was called to meet with his master in person, to presumably explain his failure. Apparently, Sidious didn?t seem to think he?d failed. Instead, he revealed to Sidious that it was [I]he[/I] who?d ordered the creation of the clone army ten years ago in order to make this war possible. He also claimed to have foreseen a grand galactic upheaval that would bring the Sith to power.

Dooku was troubled by the Sith?s seeming control over galactic affairs, but vowed to keep the Separatist movement free of Sith influence. He appointed General Grievous to lead this assault on Mechis III, while he will seek out and destroy the Jedi Advisors.[/color]

[b]Biography:[/b] For over a decade now, Obi-Wan guided young Anakin on the path to Jedi Knighthood. Having to rein in an adventure-seeking youth made Obi-Wan wise -- and cynical -- beyond his years. True to his role, Obi-Wan recognized both Anakin's strengths and weaknesses, and he tried to impart his lessons with the patience and understanding that his mentor, Qui-Gon, did.

As Anakin progressed, Obi-Wan grew increasingly concerned that the young Padawan's raw power had fostered a dangerous arrogance. He frequently expressed these reservations to the senior members of the Jedi Council, but they continued to trust in Kenobi's mentorship. After returning from a border dispute on the world of Ansion, Obi-Wan and Anakin were called by the Supreme Chancellor to protect the life of Senator Padmé Amidala. Though Obi-Wan carried a less-than-favorable impression of politics, he nonetheless took the assignment very seriously. A failed assassination attempt left Obi-Wan with a valuable clue -- an exotic weapon not recognized by the droids of the Jedi Temple.

As Anakin voyaged off-world on his first mission, escorting and protecting Padmé Amidala on her home planet of Naboo, Obi-Wan continued the investigation. He journeyed to Coruscant's Coco Town, a shabby stretch of city where an old friend, Dexter Jettster, lived and worked. Dex, the proprietor of a simple diner, was a wealth of knowledge, and was able to identify the weapon as a Kamino saberdart. In searching out Kamino, Obi-Wan discovered a dangerous and disturbing mystery. The vaunted Jedi Archives, perhaps the largest repository of lore in the galaxy, had no record of the planet that Dex described. Conferring with Yoda, Obi-Wan learned that Kamino had been erased from the archives.

Aboard a Jedi starfighter, Kenobi journeyed to the storm-shrouded world of Kamino. There, he made contact with the Prime Minister, Lama Su, and the mystery surrounding the planet became even more tangled. As explained by the Kaminoans, Obi-Wan was expected. A decade previous, the Kaminoans had begun crafting an immense clone army on the behalf of the Jedi for use by the Republic. Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, believed dead at the time, had apparently commissioned the army.

The courteous Kaminoans gave Kenobi a tour of their cloning facility on Tipoca City. Obi-Wan saw hundreds of identical clone troopers, training and preparing, encased in modern, white armor. This seemed to have nothing to do with the assassination attempt on Amidala, until Kenobi met with the original genetic template for the clones, Jango Fett. Kenobi shadowed Jango to the ringed world of Geonosis before he was discovered pursuing Slave I. A dangerous chase ensued through the rocky rings of the red planet, and Kenobi's starfighter sustained light damage from a blistering hail of laser fire. Fett again thought he lost his pursuer and proceeded to land, but Kenobi continued his chase.

Obi-Wan secretly landed on Geonosis, and snuck into one of its massive spire-complexes. Inside, he found a gathering of Separatist minds, including the leader of the movement, Count Dooku. He learned that Dooku was gathering the heads of the commerce guilds and pooling their military resources, making one huge army to challenge the Republic. Kenobi returned to his ship to make contact with the Jedi Council. He warned of the impending Separatist action, but his communication was cut short when he was taken captive.

As per Geonosian custom, Kenobi was sentenced to be executed. Joining him were Anakin and Padmé, who had journeyed to Geonosis in a vain rescue effort. The trio were chained to pillars in a massive Geonosian execution arena, and three horrible beasts were unleashed upon them. The Jedi and Padmé, however, proved difficult to kill. Unarmed and shackled, they were resourceful enough to escape certain death. Kenobi escaped the deadly cutting swipes of a vicious acklay creature long enough for Jedi reinforcements to arrive. A hundred Jedi Knights infiltrated the arena, and the Separatists countered by unleashing many more battle droids into combat. Jedi fell by the dozen, but Obi-Wan fought valiantly and survived. This was but a prelude to the start of the Clone Wars, as the newly formed Republic military stormed Geonosis.

Now though, on the orders of Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin have been ordered to the world of Mechis III to serve in the small unit of Jedi commanding the Clone Troops who have also been sent their. And as always, he has a bad feeling about this.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

Biography: Like most jedi, Tsuni was taked from Scor ll (home planet) when he was only about a year old. Shwoing signs of the force, he was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant where he was trained in the ways of a jedi. He learned how to control the power of the force by becoming a part of it, how to weild a light-sabre, and he learned of other planets in the galaxy.
Tsuni was pretty advanced in his classes, eventually he was being put into classes with older students, when he was ten, he trained with eleven year olds. When nearing the age of 12, Tsuni was taken as a padawan by a jedi knight and was now going off on misions to other planets that needed jedi aid, along with being trained by his master at the same time.

Reaching the age of 21, Tsuni was ready for the trials and soon became a Jedi Knight and was soon on missions on his own. Though becoming a jedi knight seemed great, Tsuni continued to train at the Temple when not on missions to other planets alone and with Master Yoda at times. Many years have passed sense becoming a Jedi Knight. During the whole start of the Clone Wars, Tsuni had remained at the Jedi temple until issued as many other Jedi were to head to Geonosis where they would attempt to rescue Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala.

Fighting along side many other Jedi, Obi-wan, Anakin, and Padmé were freed, but surrounded by enemy droids, there was no escape and many jedi had fallen. Though, before the droids were able to give the jedi the finishing assult Master Yoda and the Clone troopers from Kamino came and rescued the remaining jedi.

Right now Tsuni is stationed with the jedi Unit (Which Fett has not yet told me much about :( )

Tsuni is a respected Jedi Knight. When a council member is on a mission (which doesn't happen too often) He is the one who will usually take their place until they return.

Biography: #34, like many of his other cloned counterparts, is an adept fighter with his fists and weapons. He and not so many others were trained by Jango Fett. With that in mind the units of Company #1 have become the special forces of the Army of the Republic.

#34 and few others trained several select few clones to take on the training that #34 has received. This is to make sure that Company #1's numbers don't dwindle to nothing.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[B]Spacecraft:[/B] [I]The Noxious[/I]. A ship custom made for Grievous, given to him by Count Dooku. The ship is as deadly as Grievous is. The ship is powered by twin ion engines, and has X-shaped solar panel wings, that arc forward into points (like a TIE Interceptor's do). The body of the ship is almost mirrorlike, making it very hard to spot, in space or otherwise. The body of the ship is very flat, and curved in to a sharp point at it's nose. A birds-eye view would give the [I]Noxious[/I] the appearence of a dagger. It is armed with four laser cannons at the tip's of the solar panelled wings, and has a proton torpedo launcher beneath the nose. Built for speed, the [I]Noxious[/I] is amazingly quick and agile. It's shields are very basic, but with Grievous at the helm... who needs shields?

[B]Biography:[/B] Very little is known about Count Dooku's right hand man. He has been described as the most effective hand-to-hand Jedi killer ever. He is believed to be an android, but the rare individuals who have looked into his eyes and live to tell the tale say that his eyes look almost organic, and it is possible that a living man is inside Grievous' hard exterior. Merciless, fearless, he is the perfect killing machine. Fast and skilled enough to be more than a match for Jedi, he has killed many force users in his time, all at the command of Count Dooku. Mainly, he uses his claws, or his double bladed vibro-sword as weaponry... and enemies certainly are surprised when this intimidating foe reveals that he can use the weapon of the Jedi.

[font=Verdana][size=1][color=black][b]Biography:[/b] Van was born just over eighty years ago as the youngest child and only son to the ruling royal family on Alderaan, Van was the first-ever case in their history of a Jedi to be born in the family. Surprisingly his father allowed his son go train at the Jedi Temple, he believed a Jedi Master would one day become would be a valuable asset to the family's interesting in the Senate. Van was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant at three and a half years of age, this was the last time he would see his entire family together. He was placed in a clan among many other children although he remembers none so vividly as his Serennonian counterpart Dooku. Van and (does Dooku have a first name?) were hardly separable, both were of royal background, Dooku being a Count by title on his homeworld of Serenno, both had very high medichlorian counts and both showed a remarkable skill in wielding the Force at their age. They were most often to be found practising with one another in many forms of training exercises ranging from the training lightsabers to their control and manipulation of the Force.[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=1][color=black]As time passed the two children progressed from early childhood as friends and rivals to one another's skills, Van was more of a pacifist than Dooku believing that the use of the Force as a weapon was against the basic ideals of the Jedi Order. At thirteen both were taken as Padawan Learners by their respective Masters, and began their training in earnest, Van was taken by Jedi Master Keff Garek and Dooku by Jedi Master Thame Cerulian. The two friends and rivals said their goodbyes for now and began their training as Padawan Learners, Van training progressed quickly though it was not without it's bumps. His Master would sometimes note that Van was a dreamer seeing the Republic as it ought to be but not as it actually was. Van's pacifistic nature did not however make him any less talented with a lightsaber; on the contrary Van's skills although not quite jaw-dropping were still very impressive. He could be found training in his free time for hours on end, refining his movement and skills until he was satisfied with what he called "their Finesse".[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=1][color=black]Van's skills grew more and more as the years went on, as did his maturity. He developed a keen interest in the history of the Jedi Order as well as a fascination with the history of almost every race in the Galactic Republic. He often spent hours pouring through the data in the Jedi Archives on the basis of the Jedi and their principles, he would often joke saying that uncovering one's past was the key to understanding one's future. His mentor Keff Garek also shared his passion for history and when the two were dispatched upon diplomatic missions they would often try to show the two factions of the same race through means of history that they were not as dissimilar as they believed. Van enjoyed his time with Keff as much as could be expected and when it came for the time for his to take the Trial and become a Jedi himself he was strangely despondent about leaving Keff's side. However when the time came, Van passed the Trials with no difficult and was confirmed as a fully-fledged Jedi Knight, he was almost immediately dispatched to solve a conflict on the very edge of the Republic with none other than his old friend and rival Dooku. The two in a combination of Dooku's eloquent tongue and Van's ability to come up with a fair and reasonable compromise were able to solve the dispute quickly and easily without bloodshed. [/color][/size][/font]

[font=Verdana][size=1][color=black]Van's was called many times to solve disputes the same as all Jedi, however one thing odd about him was the fact that he never took a Padawan Learner of his own. When questioned about this Van replied that he felt that he did not have the necessary skills to teach a Padawan or to raise a child properly into adulthood. Van was not present on Alderaan on both the birth of his nephew Bail Organa or his nephew's ascension as Viceroy after the intervention of revered Jedi Jorus C'baoth, it could be said that Van attempted to leave behind his father's reasons for wanting his to become a Jedi. Van's interest in history would often inspire him to suddenly up and leave to go off to explore the ruins of some ancient world or to spend hours upon end reading through articles in the Jedi Archives pertaining to matters of interest to him. He was deeply shocked at the departure of Count Dooku from the Jedi Order and often wished he'd kept in better touch believing that he may have been able to somehow talk him out of his decision. He was present during the battle of Geonosis and now understands that the man he once knew as his friend is gone forever, he has been ordered to go to Mechis III along with several other Jedi Masters in an attempt to somehow halt the assault. He is not unfamiliar with General Grievous and is not looking forward to meeting him in combat...[/color][/size][/font]
