Semjaza
I found most of this on GA. Colloseum is the latest Pokemon Stadium game, obviously on GameCube. This has been known for quite some time. However, the game also has a RPG mode in it... apparently that mode is around 30 hours long. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool. I actually would like to pick this up if the RPG mode turns out. It also looks as though this game is what you need to get the massive amount of hidden Pokemon in Ruby and Sapphire that just aren't there in the normal game. Scans (totally worth seeing, but linked since they're huge). Kei
I totally agree that this game looks pretty cool. I'd seen some of these screenshots before, but I think you're the one that posted them in the first place. The RPG mode sounds looks like it will be a nice addition to the game, though the boy character looks pretty sinister in my opinion. Cool, but sinister. Oo; I noticed in some of those ads the GBA link that'll be shipping with Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green upon their release. It does look relatively like the infared port on GBAs, but hopefully, it'll be much better. The fact that it can link with the GCN is nice. I, like Semmah, am looking forward to these new developments. All I have to do is get a GCN and wait patiently. lol
Zanarkand Abes
Does anyone know when the Collesium is coming out in America?
Kei
The release date for Japan is Nov. 21, so I'm figuring it'll take about three or four months (as a guesstimate) for it to arrive here in the States.

Zanarkand Abes
Man, it seems like everything Pokemon comes out in March. Last March was the Ruby and Sapphire versions, now the colloseum, why can't it be in December, so I can get it for Christmas? Anyways, thanks. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to Coliseum, since I've'nt played any of the Stadiums yet. And I'm getting sick of link battles. Guest dark kitsune
O_O I had no idea that the new Pokemon game for GC will have an RPG feature. How utterly cool! Thanks for posting the pics - they made my afternoon. btw - do you think the rpg will be an unlockable feature? something you only get after completing the game in collosium mode? Ryu_Sakura
So, from what you people have heard about it, what do you think? I personaly hate that they pushed the release back 2 days, from the 22nd of March to the 24th. Many people think that it is a remake of Pokemon Stadium, but it's not, It's like a 3-d pokemon game, with a battle mode. So, would you buy it? I would buy it well, first because I've beten EVERy Pokemon game in english, and this one seems so cool, I mean how can it not? You play an ex-villan! I'm not putting a poll up because I want thoughtful answers not poll marks.
Flo
I think the game looks alsome. The graphics are cool but,I don't really like the main dude.He looks to um..I don't how bout evil.I mean his eyes and the weird sleves kinda creepy. It would be alome if you could choose to play as a boy or girl like in ruby and shappire.I think that would be a great improvment.I mean hello video games creaters don't be so rasiest put some girls games and colored people!

I mean hello video games creaters don't be so rasiest put some girls games and colored people!
It's, like, just a game, okay? So let's not get into that. Although it would be nice if you could play as a boy or a girl. I'm not a sexist (no "girl power" B.S.), I just think it adds variety. But, in Colliseum, you have one as a partner, so there we go. Also, the girl in Ruby/Sapphire looked like a duck; I don't like her that much anyways. After playing Stadium 2 for the first time the other month, I've been having second thoughts about buying the GCN game. And I think the whole "turning evil Pokemon to good" concept is pretty damn lame. However, I did enjoy Stadium 2's features, such as the House, Academy and whatnot. I think Gold/Silver/Crystal is the best bunch out of all the games, but that's another story.
Ryan
I think it looks awesome. Better graphics than the other two stadiums, and in this one you can actually move around. The others were kind of fun at first but they got old really easily and I am hoping that doesn't happen with this one, but I'm pretty sure it will. All other pokemon games have gotten old really quick, so I am just going off of what I have experienced with all of the other pokemon games.
Jokopoko
Hi, I'm thinking about asking for Colosseum for my birthday this year and I need to clear something up about it's features. On Amazon.co.uk it states these as the features of the game:

Battle your Ruby and Sapphire Pokémon on the big screen
Various tournaments and minigames
Rental Pokémon available for those without GBA games
For 1-4 players
Whereas on other sites it says that there are no mini-games and no rental Pokemon but you can use the Pokemon you capture in the RPG mode in the tournaments if you don't have Ruby or Sapphire [Which I don't]. So are these features of the european version or just false advertising, some one help me out

Engel
I've beaten Story Mode, and I can tell you a few things. 1)The only minigame type thing is the really cool battle tower. 2) No rental pokes, you catch them with these "Snatch Balls". You can do one to four players if you have some GBA's and NGC+GBA link cables. you can also import the ones you can't catch in Ruby/Sapphire on to R/S. Vash IDK
Yeah, I'm just about done with it too. While it looked cool and everything, I was actually a little bugged with the whole turning bad shadow pokemon into good, obedient ones. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun and all, but the storyline can get pretty irritating after a while. But again, that's my opinion. If turning bad things into good things is your thing, then this is the game to you. I think the best part of all of this is when Leaf Green and Fire Red come out on SP, and you'll be able to have all of your pokemon from Gold, Silver and Crystal onto your Ruby and Sapphire games. I think that will be pretty cool.
BlackShadowmon
btw - do you think the rpg will be an unlockable feature? something you only get after completing the game in collosium mode?
After you beat the game, purify all 48 Shadow Pokemon, and beat the Mt. Battle 100 trainers in Colloseum Mode, then a Level 70 Ho-Oh will appear in your PC.
Guest ShonenSamuraiMugen
I know the anime isn't good, but you got to admit, this game is kinda cool. It has a pretty interesting story, with a lot of Pokemon to catch. The graphics are okay, and similiar to Zelda's graphics. You get to have partners follow you around, too. Heres the bad part...It takes 48 blocks of your memory! That's alot ! Does anyone like this game?
Killer7
...once again I played this game as a rental, as I played the orginal and wanted to see how far the series had evolved. Really don't say things are good anymore, you are saying 2 of the most terrible games on the gamecube (aside from movie based games) are good (custom Robo being the other one). Both of the games have low production values, terrible graphics, ear-drum breaking sound, and some of the most boring and non-existent stories ever. Not only that but both of the games have gameplay exactly the same as other games that are pretty sub-par. Custom Robocopies of of games like virtual-on and Armored Core, and colosseum copying off of the last ten crappy pokemon games.
Tatsubei Yagyu
The game is fun to play with you're friends, but otherwise I would feel empty to play it without competition... :animeswea
