Anime Wow... they're just like me!: Characters you identify with

I identify most with Haruka/Amara/Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon. We're both the boyish ones in our groups and are calm, cool and collected. That is, unless we get mad! :)

I have 2 really close friends and the rest I can hardly stand being around for more than 10 minutes....also, I usually take the role of leader in our group and people are scared of me when I get mad ^^

[B]Cho Hakkai:[/B] When I'm depressed I hide it with a smile just so that my friends don?t think anything is wrong, I went through a pretty rough time a while back and I certainly identified with Hakkai the most during that time.

[B]Satoshi Hiwatari:[/B] COMPUTERS!! Oh my, yes, I love computers and I want his glasses, sad as it may seem. I also want blue hair, which is kind of scary. But yah, he?s a loner and that's what I try to be he also doesn't like to be noticed if you see what I mean, he?s not shy, just quiet...which is me all over.
He?s also smart, and I don't want to brag but I have my intelligent moments....most of the time I'm just being a smartass though!

Well...that?s it I guess...those three guys make me which is very scary considering I?m a girl :p

Well, this would be difficult to say. I figure that I am remarkably.................normal. O_O;

I'd say Kasumi from Ranma 1/2 or perhaps Sylphiel from Slayers. Except I'm not that nice or submissive(?). Ameria from Slayers is like my Idol--her morals match mine and are something I wish everyone in this world would get. And my relationship with my dad is very strong too. I'm also a bit like Gourry from Slayers--I have the memory of a goldfish (or I guess a Jellyfish :D), and have a friendly disposition. :blah:

To be quite honest (though this isn't an anime), I'd say I relate to Ginger from As Told By Ginger. I have a weird younger sibling; I'm not popular, nor am I a total loser, and I have some really awesome friends.

So if there's a character that is forgetful, has high morals, is somewhat normal, and is not popular or unpopular, then that's who I'd relate most to. :D

Lemme see, I think I can identify with Spike, we both hate kids and women with attitude, we like practicing martial arts, we enjoy eating bell peppers and beef, I know this girl who I love whom I feel I will never see in a long time, and we're both cool and level-headed. I also identify with Squall from Final Fantasy VIII although it really isnt an anime because we're both antisocial, trying to be in the military, and a loner. I think that Van from Escaflowne also reminds me of myself because of our pride and bravery.

He lives by a strong moral code and set of values, which is similar to me (don't ask) he isn't stupid I would just say he dosn't usualy put that much effort into his school work. He loves kittens...=^o^= People tend to make fun of him a great deal and he is probably the most disliked of the spirit team although in my opinion hes one of the best.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

If I were to say who I identify with the character would be Trowa from Gundam Wing. We are both quiet and we both care about others (i.e. friends) even though we might not show our compassion.

I also identify with Harry MacDougall from Outlaw Star but hey, let's not go there... :D

Hmm...this is a tough quesion. But, I spent a little while contemplating on this one, ad I believe it's Lord Tenchi Masaki. Not to blow my own horn, but a lot of drama revolves around me and "Which girl I like." 9 times out of 10, it is most likely none of the people who are interested in me. Not to say I am shallow or anything like that, but, heh...It's generally because I like someone else. I'm also passionate, yet can be severely shy at the same time...and I try to remain as kind and Chivalrous as possible.

I had never heard of Gundam Wing until one of my friends told me about it, he has all the episodes and the Endless Walts movie, The first time he saw it the next day he came around to my house and woke me up ...and started raving on about Heero Yuy, I didn't know what the hell he was going on about...I just wanted to go back to sleep...I asked him what he was talking about and he then raved on about Gundam Wing.
He told me that Heero Yuy and I are exactly the same in every way, in our attitudes, personality fitness levels and even in our looks...I thought that he had lost his mind... He seemed really excited so a knocked him over gave him a bleeding nose and walked out of the room, I thought at least that would of made him leave but instead he followed still raving on about it. So that night we watched it...to me I didn't see any kind of resemblance but he insisted on making me see how Heero and I are exactly the same.
The next day we went down to the mall and he decided to run a survey on me to see what people thought of this subject...I stood there frowning at him as he stood on the table screaming...Calling All Gundam Wing Fans!!...and I was actually quite amazed to see all these people walking up to the table, He then asked them a few questions based on Heero and I, he even had a photo of me...which i thought was absurd and infutile to be standing there doing a survey on something so rediculous...I put my head down and lent against the pole while he ran his stupid test and when he had finished he showed me the test and every one had ticket yes to every question about me and Heero, which made it 100% authentic, I really didn't care about it and i turned my back on the people and him and walked away, I get on here and do a test to see which gundam wing character I am...and Heero Yuy came up, All my mate could say was i told you so...so i elbowed him in the stomach just to make him shut up...So I was just wondering...i wrote down a piece on my self about how i think on my website at myotaku, my website is Heero Dark Angel, if any one out there knows every detail on Heero Yuy and what his personality is like can you visit my website and just have a read of what i wrote on the first page and tell me if i sound like Heero or not...be honest because if you think that heero and i arent the same then just tell me, then i can tell my mate that.

I probably am most like Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. I am cold and calculating in most situations. I am not like him in the fact that he has a stupid minion and a little girl following him around.

[color=firebrick] I relate with all the unimportant background anime characters that shriek and run away when the giant monster/robot/villain/alien starts attacking because

1) I would not really be all out to go and fight it.

2) Anime characters tend to be blown to extreme personalities. I've never seen a regular main anime character. Maybe about three regular anime characters...yeah, I can't think of any more, lol.

3) OR anime characters have some qualities and seems like they can't be anything else. An easy example are "Which anime character are you?" quizzes. You can't really take them truthfully because [most of the time the answers are too obvious] the characters really have no variety. I'm a varied person, thanks very much. [/color]

Well this is a very interesting and hard to answer question. Well I think I'm more like Kagome from Inuyasha. Because she shows all of her emotions and she's very nice to people. Also she's smart and likes to help people out. (Now only if I also had that long hair of her's!!) :smirk:

Definetly BT from Dot Hack. BT comes off pretty hard headed, and very self reliant. Has strong will, and looks out for herself. But on the inside, she is in need of relationships, even though she acts as if those types of things can care less to her. EVERYTHING is exactly like me, it's even a little scary. :)

I think I identify with Jim Hawkings from Outlaw Star. He's alot more mature than Gene who is older. That's the same with alot of my friends.
I can say that I'm definetly more mature and I do like to do business and computer types of things. Ya. Jim is definetly me.

Yuffie Kisagari - From Final Fantasy VII, she's sneaky and cute, just like me, tee-hee. In actuallity I just admire her personality more than anything, to say I'm like her is really just self serving.

Rikku - From Final Fantasy XI, she's also sneaky and cute just like Yuffie and I always love the ways she bobs around so cutely, so full of energy and spunk. I'd spread my legs for her anyday, lol.

Komugi Nakihara - From the Soul Taker and Witch Nurse Komugi, she's so adorably chipper and cute plus has a dark side that I can relate to as well. I'm also jealous of girls with bigger breasts and I admire her determination to keep Kyosuke to herself. She's sooooo cute! Komugi roxors.

Kira Yamato - He's kinda filent and emotional, always thinking about why he should fight and such. But when he does fight....wow.

Your right, it is scary when you watch an anime and you see a person, and your like' o my god, there just like me.' Its actully kinda scary what anime character i most relate to, and i have even been told this, Edward Wang, from cowboy bebop, i am most like. The crazyness, the cutness the stupidy but actully smart, and the love of animals, computers, and nicknames is me, sadly but surley, i am most like edward. CRAZY!!! ^^

While I was in high school, I used to identify with Shinji Ikari's (Evangelion) lack of self-esteem whenever I felt bad, but unlike him, I wasn't always so negative or devoid of confidence. I could partly relate to Trunks' (DBZ) polite manners and judicious ways in times where I dealt with moral-defining issues.

However, after doing a lot of growing up the past four years, and after watching a 6-episode gem called [i]Bastard!![/i], I knew whom I completely identified with: Dark Schneider. I even showed my girlfriend the DVD, and she completely agreed. Even the few people who don't like me insult me with adjectives such as "arrogant, self-centered, self-important, egotistical," and "having a superiority complex." All these characteristics accurately define the greatness that is Dark Schneider. Sure, I'm not a wizard or have white hair, but the latter will be accomplished in thirty years or so, and who knows what my predecessors will bring to this Earth? I would definitely say I'm just like Rei Kon from Beyblade. Eh, he's stealing Kai's ice cream in my avatar in case you'd like to know what he looks like... ^-^

He's very confident, however shy about it. I see myself every time I go into some big game or perhaps a video game, very confident in myself, and I'm gonna show the world! And you know, be one of those obnoxious anime characters that often play the main role. However, I tend to look at my opponent and be all, "Hey, good job!" and that's just like Rei.
I'm also in love with Kai o.o Come on, we all know Rei is. XD
What else... I definitely identify with the way I close a laptop (snap the wrist, Z-Snap!) and I'm always repeating the obvious of what someone else had just said a few minutes ago. What I mean is... (Tyson: "We're surrounded by water!" ..Two minutes later.. Rei: "Hey, guys, we're surrounded by water!")
I have a thing for playing fair, and even though we have our moments of being a little ignorant, we both also have our times that we have to explain things juuusst right so everyone else can understand.
It's almost scary on how we're alike. I'm quite athletic when I want to be, and I'm always trying to look at the bright side of things, and I rarely ever put someone down.

I usually relate to the happy cheery characters. I'd say my closest would be either Sakura Kinomoto (Card Captors) or Ed (Cowboy Bebop) But personally,....I think I'm more closest to Ed than any other anime character. ^-^
