Annie
"Quid pro quo'', an equal exchange; substitution; Latin for "what for what?" How powerful this expression can be, and how much danger it can bring. Danger? you ask. Yes, brought on by greed and selfishness. Two elements in the destruction of men. Greed drives us to meet our selfish ambitions; whether it be for money, power, recognition, or for love. Even love, such beauty and grace, is tainted with evil such as greed. However, selfish acts of one envoke others to commit into acting on honor and selflessness. This is where we find the Latin expression fall into play... Two brothers, both powerful and strong. Bot sons of Lucifer, King of Demons. Lucas, eldest of Lucifer, arrogant and proud. Marcus, youngest of Lucifer, kind and very powerful (unknown to himself and to Lucas). Brothers hardly ever seen apart, together they roamed the lands of all the Hells, demanding and receiving all respect and fear. As tradition flows, the time came when Lucifer had to pass his power. Lucas, being the eldest of the two brothers, expected a handsome sum. To his disgusting surprise, Marcus was crowned the King of Demons. Naturally, this drives Lucas into rage and he flees Hell. As Fate would have it, she offered Lucas a bargain. She promised him power beyond his wildest desires to destroy his brother if he were to give something in return; If he succeeded, he would keep the powers. If he failed, he would be damned to be slave to her. Lucas, filled with his hatred and greed, took the bargain. He set out on his rampage, upsetting the balance between Good and Evil. His terrible reign of fear spread into the immortal world of angels, starting a holy war. Marcus, in a desperate attempt to stop his brother, approached Fate, offering his position of King of Demons in exchange for the power to defeat his brother. Little did Marcus know that Fate had a scheme for him. She gave him the power of an angel. That's right, Fate sensed Marcus' unselfish act and granted him the honor of being pure. As time progressed, Marcus discovers a different side to him and becomes comfortable with being an angel, even falls in love with one. Remembering what he has set out to do, Marcus seeks his brother out, growing angry at him for torturing so many innocents. Unfortunately, demonic blood still courses throughout Marcus' body, causing peeks of evil power (imagine a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde effect). The fate of both brothers will sway the fate of exsitence. The outcome, heh, you shall see in the end..... ==================================== Sign up Name: Age: Speices: (angel or demon) Gender: Appearance: Weapons/Abilities: Bio: (explain the relationship the character has to Lucas and/or Marcus) What I Need Alright, I need one person to be Lucas..I'm going to be Marcus..Also, I need someone to be the angel Marcus falls in love with. I want only a few angels and a few demons. I expect the best of writers, and I will determine who gets into the story. So in other words, if you want a part, you have to write the part. Short character descriptions will not cut. I will be looking for correct usage of grammar, correct spelling, and mature writting......Have at it..
Dmitri_Dragoon
Name: Lucas Age: 1,900 Speices: Demon Gender: Male Appearance: Lucas has the ability to take on two forms. A more human looking form, and of course the demon form. He spends most of his time in the Demon form though, so that is the form that will be described to you. Compared to an average man he would be gargantuan. For a more accurate height it would be just below 8 feet. His build is very masculine, muscles rippling across his body. He has quite an impressive wing span of 22 feet. The wings themselves are of a leathery nature, very much like a dragon's. His facial features are the hardest to describe. His mouth seems to be continuously contorted in a sinister sneer, and his eyes are a hollow black. On his head are two menacing horns, that are about 2 feet long each. His feet are humongous, if they were given a size they would be about a size 32. He wears no foot protection, just bare feet. His feet have five toes on them, and each toe ends in a very long, very sharp claw. His hands are the same, except the claws are about 5 times bigger. View the attachment to get an even better idea. He wears no shirt, or torso covering. But he does wear plate mail pants. Weapons/Abilities: His weapons are on his body. His horns, his claws, all of them he can, and will use in a battle. He also, when needed, will use his sword. He calls it Todüberbringer, or Death Bringer. It is a giant sword that is as long as the tallest humans, and is covered in wicked barbs randomly on the blade. Bio: When Lucas was born to the Universe, Christ had just been executed upon the cross he was forced to carry. This was when Satan was at his highlight, this was when evil was running more rampant. Lucas was almost an exact carbon copy of his father, except that he looked far more demonic. His father, though a Fallen Angel, and disgustingly distorted, still had an angelic look about him. That was the one trait that Lucas hated most about his father. Unbeknownst to the mortals of Earth, there have been many battles against Heaven and Hell for thousands of years. Contrary to popular belief, the first battle in which Lucifer was cast from Heaven, was not the last. When Lucifer's army would grow enough in strength, he would attack. Causing both sides terrible losses. Lucas participated in one of those wars. He was the most ruthless killer amongst the demonic ranks. The appraisel from his father gave Lucas the idea that he would be next in line to rule Hell. He was graively mistaken. Lucas's brother, Marcus was given the rulership. This was a terrible blow to Lucas's ego. This almost caused Lucas to Fade, or die as the humans would put it. But then, Fate approached Lucas with a proposition. She promised him power beyond his wildest desires to destroy his brother with if he were to give something in return; If he succeeded, he would keep the powers. If he failed, he would be damned to be slave to her. Lucas ignored the last part and quickly agreed. He saw no failure in front of him. Only success, and revenge. Since that time Lucas has tested his power upon other demons, and the souls that they are to torture. He feels now, that he shall be ready to take out his brother, and take control of Hell. Edited it, and Cyriel, might I add that I was impressed with your character. Balinese
Name: Sarea (Sa-RAY-ah) Age: 1500 years Species: Angel Gender: Female Appearance: Every angel has the ability to make themselves more believable to humans by appearing in a human form, and the ability to create what are called 'miracles' by appearing in their natural, angelic form. Sarea is no exception. In her human body, Sarea looks as she did when alive. She has long, slightly wavy brown hair above a pale face and huge eyes. When in this form, she tends to appear in casual clothing, jeans and t-shirts. In her angelic form, Sarea sports a pair of deep blue wings, befitting her station as the Angel of Sorrow. Her waist-length, dark brown hair is crowned by a slightly tarnished halo, and her slim body is wrapped in robes of a very pale gray. She wanders Heaven with an expression of quiet depression on her classically beautiful face. Weapons/Abilities: Sarea carries a quarterstaff made of a single piece of ash. Smoothed and strong, the wood it is created from (if anyone knows the language of flowers) gives the message "With me, you are safe." She also has mid-level healing abilities (i.e. she can heal a broken arm, but not bring a person back from the brink of death). Bio: The soul of a murdered girl, Sarea has been in Heaven for nearly two millennia. She is the angel that people speak of when they are comforted after the loss of a loved one, and yet she isn't content with this. When Marcus and Lucas began their Heavens-and-Earth-shaking war, Sarea became involved. On one hand, she knows that the balance of Good and Evil must never be allowed to swing too far to either side, but she also feels that there won't be a way to keep the evil contained in Hell from escaping before 'all Hell breaks loose'. Sarea admires Marcus' wish to save the world, and will fight for him, as well as to protect the realm of the souls that she calls home. Please let me know if this isn't good enough, and i'll do whatever editing is necessary.
Sakura
Name: Chi Iteki Age: 1800 years Speices: Angel Gender: Female Appearance: Her human form is exactly the same as when she was alive which is This but just ignore the wings. Her angelic form is slightly different from her human form. She continues to have her long brown hair. But her crimson eyes are changed to a vivid emerald green that sparkle with joy. A golden halo appears over her head and shines brightly and she usually wears robes of blue except when she needs to wear other garments for ceremonies, battles and other such things. Weapons/Abilities: Chi likes to carry her personal Long Sword. She has powers of the elements from below as she is in touch with all of the earth. She is most connected to the element of water however so she wears her blue robes to signify it. But as the Angel of Elements and Nature, she is hurt when something dramatic happens to the earth. Bio: Chi was a dead soul, she was killed by a excavation because she was down in the caves checking things out but she hadn't heard the calls of warning. The walls had caved in around her and she died from lack of air and being squashed by rocks. Chi was taken to Heaven and was granted the position of Angel of Elements and Nature because of what happened to her. Chi happily accepted, as she accepted, she saw a male angel that had caught her eye. She asked someone who it was and they told her that it was the Younger Son of Lucifer, Marcus. Chi saw him walk away and was infatuated by him. Chi would always look forward to seeing him and one day she introduced herself. She was touched at how kind he was because she had heard rumours about his brother and a war that was going on. Chi told Marcus that she'd help him however she could and he thanked her. Chi sighed happily and fluttered off. OOC: Ok, Annie, I still want the position of the Angel Marcus fall in love with. He Has met both Lucas and Marcus on several occasions while he was delievering wicked souls to Hell. He is one of the few Angels that has been to Hell. He has been unable to deliver souls to hell for sometime because of the utter chaos it is in from lack of a king. If he tried he would surely be attacked for the king is who granted him safe passage. Although he is strong he can not take on all the demons in Hell alone. Because this he has had to cease the taking of souls and none have died. He is in a position of uselessness. For without containment from their king the demons of Hell are eager to break free of their containment. Chyme senses this and helps Marcus in any ways he can. He is a master tactition and is a great ally of heaven. He knows of Marcus's demon blood but knows his heart is pure and his intentions good. He holds Marcus in high regard because of the sacrafices he would make to do the right thing. I hope this is alright. Dandin?s appearance almost does not change, except for the fact that he now has wings: tight, silver, leathery wings. His wingspan is 10 feet, and his wings are strong. Weapons/Abilities: Weapons ? he carries the swords you see in the picture(though sheathed), named Angels Deaths. He has an ability called Demolition. Demolition destroys any solid form in a half mile radius around him. Bio: Dandin hasn?t always been evil. He became so when he killed his younger sister at the age of 17. He was on drugs, and she set off his temper. So he had taken the butcher knife from the kitchen, and killed her. Later, he never regretted it. He was locked away, and somehow managed to kill his cell mates. Around the age of 22, he was killed in a fight with a cellmate, recently thrown in, who was better than him. Dandin immediately went to Hell. He met Lucas somewhere along the way, and swore his fealty to him. He cursed his killer, damning him to ?the lowest of the Nine Hells?. Dandin made it there, and so when the war began, he was gleeful about it. Dandin kills innocents for pure joy, and revenge. He hates humans, he hates angels, and will do anything he can to destroy them all, or bring them to Hell with him. Dandin has stood by Lucas? side the whole time, protecting the demon lord, and killing gladly for him. He looks to Lucas with respect, and something else ? pride, and something even he thought he could never feel, and still denys. Love. He loves his demon lord, and will do anything for him. I hope this is okay, Annie.
Muad'Dib
OK, here's my attempt... Name: Isaac Age: 1,932 years Gender: male Species: angel Appearance: In a human form, he looks small and insignificant, standing at about 5'7'', and jet black hair. His eyes are a light shade of grey, giving the impression of being blind. He wears a dark blue long sleeve shirt and black jeans. In angel form, Isaac looks a bit smaller than most angels, and definately not as impressive. He stands at 5'9'', with a slightly lighter shade of black hair, and his dull eyes give a hint of blue. He wears a long blue tunic, and a much smaller green one over it. His wings appear darker tahn the average angel's, and have an almost pitiful span of 8 feet. He is bare-foot most of the time, keeping with the traditional angelic 'uniform'. Weapons/abilities: Isaac carries a long bow, engraved with pictures of different angels. He has no arrows visible with him, but can generate them when he uses the bow. Perhaps his only skill, he fires a single, blazing white arrow, witch covers the target in searing light, either burning them, or simply disinigrating. Bio: Isaac used to be called Trevalis, the angel of Honor. It was a widely unknown title, but a proud one. About two-hundred years ago, he approached Fate with a deal, and ended up losing his title, and his dignity. In shame, his wings shrank, and he changed his name to Isaac, meaning 'laughter'. He has despised Fate ever since, and it took him nearly fifty years to learn to fly again with his damaged wings. His grudge against Fate has never diminished, and he would be glad to take her down, or even better, shame her for eternity. Some angels have taken to calling him 'Never' for various reasons.
Guest Midnight Rush
Name: Aquilum Malus, Viridans Oculus Malorum Other Names: Being a famous fighter and general, he is known by many names: The Black Illusion, The Black Omen, The Vorpal Lord, The Dark Aristocrat, Master of Hell, Unseen Terror, ect. He is also known by the extremely derogatory term of human lover. Age: 19,500 years Race: Prime Evil (Greater Demon) Gender: Male Appearance: The Green Eyed Evil has two forms: His human form, which he used when he visited his human lover (who died 2500 years ago), and his Demon form. He does not use his human form anymore, since he no longer has reason to go to the human realm. He is invariably in his demon form these days. His demon form stands 24' tall, and is extremely muscular and athletic. He bears himself with a nobility only a true artiscrat can have, and he speaks in the most formal manner at all times. His eyes are literally a burning green fire. At most times the fire is contained inside his eyes, but during times of strong emotion, the fire bursts forth and rages like an inferno. His hair is salt and pepper black, cut short and wild. His most specatular feature, however, are his monstrous black wings, over 75' in span, covered in black feathers as pure and as light as silk. He is able to fly as fast as a hawk and as agile as a humming bird. All those of lesser power around him are immersed in fear, the very nature of this ancient evil is one of terror and illusion. Weapons/Abilities: Aquilum Malus fights with his infamous killing sword, "Vorpal". It was forged by the greatest human smiths. Made of the fang of Bahumut, the Celestial Dragon of Evil, "Vorpal" cuts through anything without effort. It is lightweight, flexible, strong, and finely tempered. "Vorpal" is seventy feet in length, and Aquilus wields it with a single hand. His black dragon scale armor "Charon's Soul" is as adamant. Its protective virtues are amazing, and it creates a field of the hottest black fire around him at will, burning to ashes all but the greatest of demons. He himself has a few abilities: He is a master of personal combat, and for nearly 10,000 years no one in Hell rivaled his skill one on one. He attacks with feral ferocity and lightning speed. The only survivor of a duel with the Green Eyed Evil is Lucifer, who recalls that Aquilum's secret technique "Dues ex Machina" is a terrifying rain of Vorpal's blows coupled with a multitude horizontal bursts of the green fire that Aquilum is so famous for mastering. He can get inside people's heads, causing doubt and worry in even the most stalwart of devotees. He eats away at mental stability, driving many insane and most into a terrible nightmare they can't wake up from. Bio: Millenia ago, when the realm of Hell was not ordered, when no Lord reigned over those dread depths, there were mighty demons that arose and warred on one another. Aquilum Malus was one of these demons. He was at first only a minor leader with a small following, but Fate came to him and told him a secret. Fate told him that a sword made from the Fang of Bahamut would allow him to dominate the entire realm of Hell. He went alone against the dragon, who had killed so many before him. The fight between the two lasted three years, and Aquilum emerged victorious. He took the left fang and a scale of the dragon and the dragons vast treasures, leaving his dead foe's corpse to rot for eternity. Aquilum had smiths make him "Vorpal" and a massive suit of pure black armor from the scale of the dragon. It was at this time that Aquilum met Lucifer. The two became close allies, and Lucifer quickly became Aquilum's best general and most loyal vassel. Region by region the two and their legions conquered Hell by the blade of Vorpal and the genius of Lucifer. All of the demons paid homage to Aquilum, the new Lord of Hell, and Lucifer, the Master of Hell's Armies. Within 200 years civil war broke out. Lucifer and Aquilum struggled against one another, but it was a stalemate. Finally, in an effort to make peace, a third party kidnapped the son of Aquilum, born of a human woman, and the sons of Lucifer, switching their locations. Lucifer assumed that Aquilum was behind it, and Aquilum vice-versa. Lucifer killed Aquilum's son in a fit of rage. Aquilum tried to kill Marcus and Lucas, but failed. He ordered them dead, but they could not be found, all of Hell was scoured by his servants, but they had seemingly vanished. Virdans Oculo Malorum (The Green Eyed Evil) didn't know that Fate had taken them into her stronghold, a place even he could not attack. They were infants at this time, barely born, and Fate nursed them, and gave them her blessing. She did this at the direct order of God Himself, and she didn't understand His mysterious reasoning. When Aquilum came to her and found that she had the sons of his foe, he was enraged. He could not do anything, but he swore he would kill them as soon as they left her care. She used her enormous power and locked him into the cave known as "Tartarus", leaving Lucifer and his newly restored sons rule over a united Hell. For 1000 years Aquilum waited to escape and exact his revenge. And for 1000 years "Vorpal" struck the Tartarian gates, doing a little damage each time. 30 years ago he smashed through the gates and escaped. No one has seen him since although a huge demon in black armor has been spotted at various times when a city was destroyed, or a human hunt was on. He is still waiting, waiting to kill both the brothers before they discover their terrible secret. Limit: Fate has limited his mighty power in order for the two brothers to sort things out before he can kill them. He works endlessly to remove its limit so that he can go back to his former glory. In his limited state either of the brothers are his equal, but once the limit is removed through the ancient ritual he is currently preparing, they will have to fight against him together. Which Aquilum finds terribly funny, because he knows of the war between them. _____________________________________ See, I'm not God-modding here. Creative story telling could make this loads of fun. Can't wait to start, talk to you all soon.
Revelation
Name: Alexandria Age: 1,589 years, but in human form appears to be no younger than 25 Species: Demon Sorceress Gender: Female Appearance: For her human appearance, please set your eyes upon the attachment below. But, some changes will be made to fit my character. She has glowing grayish silver eyes, an elegant figure, lashing black hair, and she carries an item that never leaves her for it has sentimental value as well as demonic. In Alexandria's demonic form, she still keeps her elegant figure, her glowing eye color, and her lashing black hair, but she also has shimmering wings the colors of the dark ocean that waves against the shores of the beaches of white sand that so happens to roar against the crowds. She wears a cloak of black snakes over a jet black dress that leaves a spade shaped opening near her breasts. From her waist down, she has a black veil that has smybols of stars and unknown writing. She has no horns and no scales, nor no fangs in which folklore tell of. Alexandria also has a silver armlet that has to snakes that intervene each other on her right arm. She is also marked with a rose that is tattooed at the base of her neck and below that rose are two serpents- one being a dragon and the other a cobra, that are entangled with one another at the tail, but they face each other with their mouths open. Weapons: Veil of Abyss: A veil made to clothe others' visions and make them see what is not truly there. Let them have the illusion of something they either wish to see or not to see. That is not their choice, but Alexandria's. The stars and symbols on this veil change constantly so that no one can make out what it says, so no one can know the spell to reveal what it truly is. Body: Her extending nails, her dances, and her magic are the ways she can fight but also help, or maybe even elude. Demon's Enchantment: The item that she holds so dearly to her is called the Demon's Enchantment. It is what she uses to call upon whatever she may want. May it be Cerberus, may it be an angel, whatever it may be it comes to her and she can use it to her will. Should one touch this, then their hands will be burned and curses and hexes will come to them for many years. Lucifer had created this from Hell's fire and made it so that only the one true to her may not be burned but see the truth within so many lies and deceptions. Abilities: Alexandria is able to dance and make her opponent or whoever she is dancing to become swooned, even women, and fall into a deep sleep, a slumbering death, or whatever dance she steps to, it is the fate that you are handed. She is also able to use her sorcery, which contains many spells, to attack, heal, guards, etc. She also sings to those who oppose her, and just like her dances, whatever song she sings, may it be sweet, may be it sorrowful, it is the hand of fate your are dealt with. Which brings us to a strange ability that Alexandria uses, it is the ability to mirror others' powers against them as well as keep them inside the Demon's Enchantment. She is also able to use the elements of Darkness, Shadows, and anything connected to those two elements. Bio: Alexandria was one of the most beautiful girl that any man had ever seen. Those who were brave to speak to her led a good example to their people. They showed that a child is not responsible for their parents' actions. She had nothing to do with her mother's rape. She had nothing to do with her mother being a witch who had called upon a demon from Hell and became his slave. She had nothing to do with anything that happened before she was born. When Alexandria was born, her mother didn't want a demon child in her own home, but she could not send it anywhere and if anyone knew what she truly was, then her own career as one of the greatest and wisest Fortune Tellers would be over with, and if she sent it to the demon who was being "pleased" by her mother, Lord knows what would have happened. And so, nothing could be done, other than the fact that she was to be with her mother and no one would know what and who she really was. At such a young age, Alexandria was condemned to Hell for a sin she had not even commited. She carried a great burden upon her shoulders and everyone avoided her and spoke defamation upon her good name. Through the nights, she slept a painful slumber, for the dreams she had once dreamt turned to nightmares that would chase her, torment her, and torture her soul, and through the days, she walked alone down the hollowed streets, where no one wished to see her beautiful face. No one wished to converse with a demonic child with witch's blood running through her veins. No one wished to even be on the same planet as her. It was an unpleasant thing to live with and Alexandria could no longer handle this life. With the poisons she had found from her mother's cabinets, Alexandria poisoned herself. "Begone to Hell! Rid this creature from God's green earth. Send this fowl and damned demon back to the depths of Hell." These words spilled from the lips of the Priest who had once condemned Alexandria from the moment he had seen her. And his words were true and to Hell, she had gone. Even in Hell, demons and other creatures of darkness looked to her as a bastard child and wanted nothing to do with her. But, Lucifer looked to her and knew she had a gift that no one knew of and he had taken her under his own care and nurtured her to become what she is now. Lucifer knew the demon that had impregnated the human that gave birth to Alexandria and since no demon was to do this, he had given him a sentence far worse than torture. As Alexandria grew to become a beautiful demonic sorceress, she had grown more and more powerful each day. Until, Lucifer had seen that she was the strongest Demonic female there ever was. He then found it fit that she was no longer a child who needed care, but a demon who wished for more. Lucas and Marcus had seen this as well. Marcus disliked the thought of this demon becoming powerful, he wished for her to be the kindhearted person she was before, but Lucas could see the fire burning within her eyes and soul and knew that she was a demon waiting to unleash chaos. After Marcus had gained power, Alexandria vowed to Lucas that is he should fail, she would not rest until he would rise again. Although she was a demon, she was a demon with a heart longing for love and a soul wanting to belong. She was still the bastard child who wanted to have love, warmth, and understanding in her life. Perhaps, she could find it, perhaps not. Well, then. It seems that I am done and if there is anything I should change, please do so to tell me and I will.
Doukeshi
Name: Uriel - Fire of God (as always) Age: Who can really say Speices: Archangel Gender: Male Appearance: One of the wisest among angels , Uriel holds great depth in his stormy grey eyes. His features are solmn, with a firm set jaw bearing a neatly trimmed beard, and strong cheekbones. His dark brow knitted in thought, he exudes wisdom and control. Personality: As an angel his duty overtakes all personal frailties and as an angel he his compelled to be compasionate and protecting to all who are his wards. Favouring those of a scholarly nature Uriel holds knowledge and wisdom above all other virtues. The great harmonizer of substance, Uriel keeps the Universal Law of Order and Harmony, both within and between each body. Uriel is the great harmonizer and balancer of substance. Weapons/Abilities: A flaming sabre, alight with holy blue fire Bio: As one of the first and oldest of the angelic choirs Uriel has watched over the earth from its birth, being entrusted to guard the gates of Eden after Adam and Eve were cast out lest humanity seek to re-enter. He is known throughout all of Heaven for his sharp eyes, sharp mind, and his objective manner in implementing his superior's will. When the Last Judgment comes, he will break the adamantine gates in Hell so that all waiting souls may come forth to be judged, even the ancient beings and monsters imprisoned since the elder days. Patron of wisdom and knowledge, Uriel has witnessed the discord and choas that the brothers' conflict has caused, both in the mortal world and in the realms eternal. It was he who decended to the realm of the fates to speak with the eldest upon her decision to interfear with the affairs of the demonic siblings and it was he who implored her to restore the balance, though she would not. Discouraged slightly by this and the wanton actions of Fate Uriel then sought out the elusive Marcu, now angelic in form and dweller of heaven. Michael himself, general of the heavenly armies, raged against the demonic incursion into the heavenly kingdom, not since Lucifer himself had such an atrocity occured said he. Appropriate though it was that the son of Satan should return to the sate that his father once held, Uriel sadly agreed with his comrade and was ready to complete his wishes. This did not occur however, with something one on the mortal plain would call 'divine intervention', Uriel was struck with the boy's plight upon meeting with Marcus. In what Michael would later call a moment of weakness on Uriels part, the archangel agreed to help Marcus with his mission, his crusade as it were. Donning his armor and holding alfot his flaming sword once more he has taken up Marcus' cause, in defense of not only heaven, but all the worlds the creator holds so dear. He has an athletic build with broad shoulders, but despite this trys to remain as hidden as possible when a human. Angel- See the attachment. Kwai
OOC: As promised, I'm casting myself into the ring. Name: Metatron Other Names: Itmon, Batsran, Mitspad, Estes, Giatyah, Ozah (Uzah), Uvayah, Eved, Galiel, Mivon, Sktas, Zerahyahu, etc. Translation: Metathronos (Greek): Meta - Next to, after Thronos - Throne ?The one who occupies the throne next to (after) the divine throne? Race: Archangel Age: 8,500 yrs. Title: The Supreme Angel of Death, The Angel of Presence Ability: Immunity: Dealing with death, or rather, to be in charge of death for a couple of millennia does have a strange effect on a being. After all, all negative spells or wicked crafts inevitably lead to the cause of death. So then, if a being is in a constant relation with death, what are those harmful spells to him? Absolutely nothing. Metatron, put simply, cannot be the target of any harmful negative spell, whether it be a direct damaging spell or some form of curse. Catharsis: By summoning the Light of the High Heavens, Metatron is able to incinerate the denizens of the underworld of Hell. Conversely, the same light is capable of healing those within the heavenly alliance, saturating their body and spirit with the Light of Life. A damaging spell and healing spell all in one, Catharsis is the chief magic employed by Metatron in battle. Death and Decay: Despite his Archangelic status, Metatron still is the Supreme Angel of Death. As such, his ultimate spell utilizes his dominion over the area. By evoking his full mastery over Death, Metatron is able to create a vortex of decadence that slowly saps the life out of any creature, mortal or immortal that is caught within its reach. Should the opponent be foolish enough to stay within the spell?s range for its full duration, death will inevitably be the result. Weapon: Gotterdammerang Rune Blade: An ancient blade that has been in existence since the creation of Earth, it has been rumored that the blade has been crafted from the primal energy that took existence before all else, a source of energy that has been the beginning for all life that exists today, mortal, immortal, angelic, and demonic. This form of energy is the purest that can be achieved, and as such, is destructively powerful. Though it is coveted by many heavenly and hellish beings for its rarity and power, none have dared attempt to contain its awesome might for fear of their lives. The only artifact that has contained the primal energy effectively to date is this blade. The blade appears to be nothing more than a large piece of crystal carved into the shape of a sword, though as the mortals say, ?Do not judge a book by its cover?. Appearance: In his human form, Metatron prefers to take the appearance of a child. He has a special liking for children, especially those with a spiritual gift, and enjoys their company. In his angelic form, he is a bright, radiant figure with thirty-six pairs of wings and innumerable eyes. His exact appearance in his angelic form cannot be accurately described due to the harsh radiance, not to mention the fact that the many descriptions attributed to him in the scriptures tend to be in conflict with each other. Personality: Somewhat on the reserved and quiet side, Metatron rarely leaves his sanctum located in the High Heavens. He does not have any liking for the blood of battle, but will take up his blade to smite out his wrath should there be a necessary need to do so. His authority as an Archangel does not make him arrogant in the least; his favorite pastime is mingling with the mortal children. Despite his affability towards mortal children, he falters not when he is ordered to take away a soul, even if that soul is one of his earthly companions. He is, in most cases, calm and composed, though in the heat of battle he undergoes a rather drastic change in nature. Bio: Metatron, along with his twin brother Sandalphon, is one of the two in the hierarchy of the Archangels whose name does not end in the suffix of ?el?. Incidentally, he and his brother are the only ones in the archangelic order that were once a human. In mortal life, Metatron went by the name of Enoch, a prophet and a scribe. However, he was given ?The Book of the Angel Raziel?, which explained the celestial order as well as the history of creation. For this reason, he was taken up to the Heavens after his death, and was transformed into the being he is today. His brother, whose original name was Elijah, became Sandalphon, the Archangel of Birth. Such is the mortal history behind Metatron. In the Heavens, Metatron was given an occupation similar to what he had on earth. He is a celestial scribe who keeps the record of all the occurrences in the Heavens, the mortal world, and recently, Hell. As such, he has a fairly good knowledge of what goes on in the entire universe. He penned the birth of the two sons Marcus and Lucas, as well as the apparent conflict that ensued after the succession of Marcus. He cares little to be honest, and recorded the matter accordingly when Fate assigned Marcus into the Angelic Order. Again, Metatron cares little about Marcus. Simply another angel amongst the multitude. But with the denizens of Hell growing unruly yearly, as well as the inevitable clash of Heaven against Hell involving the two brothers, Metatron may have to drop his pen and take up his blade. In ages past, there are one or two records that indicate that Metatron did indeed make use of his mystical blade. One such account tells of a quarrel that nearly rose to a civil war in the Heavens, caused by a pack of rogue fallen angels sent by the demon Lucifer. The records state that Metatron appeared before the fallen ones and summoned his blade from the deep sanctums of the Heavens. What followed was complete annihilation of the former agents of God. Though an angel is supposedly unable to kill one of its kind, Metatron defied the law completely. The fallen ones were not damned to the pits of hell, not punished with God?s wrath, but obliterated, simply wiped out of existence. Though he has not taken up the blade since, the legend of his feat still remains, making his presence both respected and feared. Cyriel
Name: Avarice Age: 1745 years Species: Neither; Daughter of Fate Gender: Female Appearance: see attachment Weapons/Abilities: She wields a saber, which can not only be used in combat, but also acts as a medium through which her power is magnified. Avarice also has the power to see the threads of others' destinies, to see their relationships with each other, or if her mother has linked their lives together, or what their lives are enmeshed with. She can also see the other threads that have opened to them, or the pathways and choices that they are faced with. Bio: Born to Fate, the identity of her father has always been ambiguous, an unnecessary fact in her life. Fate, busy with her constant weavings of destiny and lives, was ill-prepared for a child, especially one that she was not supposed to have. Customarily beings such as Fate were not really supposed to have offspring, although they had grown lax on it for a bit. However, Avarice was still an annoyance to her powerful mother. Her mother named her Avarice because of her irritation at the time. Fate, although having eternity to twist the threads of existence, was agitated by her daughter's existence. She thought that the child took up too much time, and so named her out of spite, because she was "greedy for her mother's time of day." Thus, Avarice, meaning 'greed,' was bestowed upon her daughter. Avarice, having always grown with the knowledge that she is a mere speck to Fate, never relied on her mother. Indeed, soon after her birth she was sent away to heaven, to be raised by the more caring angels. Her childhood is much shrouded over by the bitter fact that Fate didn't want Avarice. However, Avarice still flourished, and she never was troubling to heaven, or any being for that matter. Instead, she became so reclusive that most angels in heaven weren't even aware of her presence or life among them. She kept to herself, resigned to the fact that she was a mistake, an unwanted presence in her mother's eyes. The few times that Fate had deemed to see her, Fate had been cold, somewhat dismissive of her. After all, she didn't need or want a daughter. And of course Avarice had never been allowed to call her mother. So she resigned herself to the fact that her existence in this universe was unwanted and unnecessary. But she kept watching Fate, always entranced by the power that her mother held over others. With little twists of her immortal hands, Fate had the power to change the destiny of nations and other beings. And slowly, Avarice became aware that she could see this happening; she could see the paths that her mother closed and opened, in the form of "threads." Like little strings connecting one to another, Avarice could see the destinies and choices laid out for a being. Fate continued to ignore her daughter, and the rest of heaven slowly forgot her. Rarely seen or heard of, Avarice continued to live her lonely existence. Sometimes she would be slightly annoyed by her mother's plans, wondering why she would dally at all in normal lives. Avarice didn't harbor grudges, but she was distant from her, and maybe a little embittered by the fact that Fate had just tossed her away. And then...she saw the threads that would bring her out of her recluse. Avarice saw the threads of the universe change - almost every being was affected. She saw her mother approach Marcus, and grant him his angel form. Avarice was struck in shock and in bright fury. How could her mother grant that much attention to a son of Lucifer, and then act as if her daughter never existed? Indeed, most didn't even know that Fate had a daughter. But Avarice was so aggravated, and so sorrowful, that she started to hate Marcus. But...try as she might, she couldn't continue to hate the pure demon, and was slowly...entranced. She was curious, and in wonderment of his transformation. For she knew the stories, and knew the information of the bitter conflict between Marcus and Lucas. And then...one day, while far away from heaven, she saw Lucas. Lucas, in all his demonic and hellish glory, broiling with hate and dark fury. But...Avarice was also amazed by him. Not by his hideous form or twisted powers...but by the sameness of his life to hers. For his father had also ignored him, bestowing the region of hell to Marcus instead. And for some reason, Avarice felt akin to Lucas. When she returned to heaven, she saw that their threads of destiny twined them irrevocable around each other. They were connected with threads of a blinding, glorious light, which she knew could not be broken. However, she was connected with both brothers. Attracted to both, like a moth to a flame. Marcus, for his pure goodness and kindness, his soft radiance, and his battle to conquer his demonic blood. And Lucas, with his powerful magnitude, his magnetic gaze, his broiling fury that cascaded in the rivers of hell. But...Avarice, in her heart, chose Lucas. She felt irrevocably drawn to him, and his dark powers which could ensure her security. And she felt that she had been wronged. Thus, now she stays in heaven, looking for the right time to bind her loyalty to him, or to ask if he will accept her service. None know of her silent choice, and still watch in apprehension the ever-violent conflict between the two brothers. And although Avarice has made her choice in this battle...perhaps it will not be so the entire war. For Avarice still wishes for her mother's embrace, Fate's gentle touch to tell her that she is a valued immortal, good and pure, much like the wish granted to Marcus. Hinata
YAY!!!!! Thank you Annie. Thank You!! Okay people here ya go! My post...finally! Name:Fate Age: Unknown Speices: Neither Gender: Female Appearance:Look below.... Weapons/Abilities: Threads of Destiny- These threads, witnessed only by her(until recently) are the threads of the life that she chooses for all those who are born into existence. These threads control everybody and they may, by her wanting, be changed. These threads though are not very reliable as a source of power for an entities' will may also change the path or outcome. The Ending Blade- Each thread lenght is detemined at birth. Once a being comes into existence their thread is cut. This blade is what determines the length of life. The amount of tampering or manipulation as Fate sees it. The blade has never been used as a weapon for defense but for only a few but once a being is touched by these blades their existence ends and they are then left in the hands of Death. She does not kill for she does not hold that power. Bio: She has no memory of her early life for that part of her has no place in her head. She knows no age, life or death. She is a true immortal who only works with a select few but only from a distance. Besides that she has no one in her life who matters. Not even the daughter that she had, by whoever. She shouldn't have had her, but as her thread was made and cut she realized that her daughter would be the next one. But she had to see her childs intentions before it was made hers, if she could handle it, if she could see it. If she could be just like her mother. As the child was born, Fate was unable to pull herself from her what she enjoyed, the manipulation of lives and the power of making herself feel good from their success, failure, life, death, whatever they were 'woven' into. Her child demanded too much, too much time attention care, nurturing, which she herslef had no idea on how to perform. That is when the child was sent away. Fate was free of the child, whom she had named, Avarice, but she still looked upo the child to see if her fate would follow the path set to her. But she also looked over the sons of Lucifer as well and thats when the plan developed. She knew Lucifer would not make Lucas the ruler of Hell, his will would not allow it, no matter how much she pulled at the threads, Lucifer's will was stronger. After Marcus' rise to the throne she approached Lucas with the agreement. He of course accepted it. She became happy but Marcus hated what his brother was doing and came to her asking for a deal. She accepted his terms and turned him into an angel. The being that he should have been at birth but she did not allow that to happen. But the devil in him has not completely disappeared and only errupts once he thinks about stopping Lucas. One factor she did not think about. All the threads she controls become more woven and entangled she loses power not only of the angels and demons but also of herself and also become confused. Her past once a lost piece of her soon resurfaces and she, alone, is lost within herself. Will she have to act in this fight that she started? How can she mend the entangled threads? Will she have to fight?
