Sign Up Kid Horizon (a light-hearted RP ~_^)

[COLOR=Orange]The world of a kid can be pretty hectic. We all know that. We've all been there, or perhaps we're still a kid, hmmm? In any case, many, many stories could be made of a child's life and imagination, if only we had the mind to make them.

And so the saga of a child's life begins... but when? At age five? No... much too baby-ish. At nine? Hmm... how about eleven? Yes, eleven is perfect. A child changes at eleven. They experience feeling that younger kids do not... we still have these feeling with us, do we not?

So we begin at age eleven... at an elementary school not to far from where you might live. The name? Ah yes... Horizon Elementary School. You, my friend, are eleven, in the fourth grade. You should be going through puberty just now, and your life takes many exciting, stragne turnes from here on out. No longer a childish baby like the third graders, but not yet a young adult like the fifth graders. So we begin.

If you haven't figured it out already (in witch case you probably shouldn't be in the Adventure Forum), this RP is about a childs life... but not ordinary children. Well, they are ordinary, but perhaps their world is different. Anyway, this shall be revealed soon... in the meantime, if you decide to sign-up, you are eleven years old, and in the fourth grade. You attend Horizon Elementary, and may have friends there. However, at this point in your life, your body is changing, witch means new feeling you may not be used to.

It occured to me that this is the perfect time in a kid's life to base a story on, due to these new and unfamiliar feelings.[/COLOR]

Nationality: cocasian, african-american, asain, etc.
Personality: what are you like? you may want to include how your character feels and/or reacts to his/her changing body.
Appearance: pics are excepted, but a small sentence or two should be included anyway. remember, pics must be of children!
Bio: what has your life been like up until now?
Weaponry: that's right... this is what makes this world different from ours. However, I don't mean real weapons... you can use anything from a yo-yo to chewing gum, but each 'toy' has an alternate use as... self-defense?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Blue]Name: Aaron Deresin

Gender: male

Nationality: cocasain-asain (his father is asain)

Personality: Generaly happy and playful like most children, but more of a thinker than most of his classmates. He has slight ADD, witch means he get's distracted easily... especialy during class. Not very athletic, and sometime hard to tear away from his book. As for puberty, he's still very shy and unsure of what to do... up until now, he's never viewed a girl as he does now.

Appearance: 5'0'' and rather scrawny, even for an eleven year old. Aaron has bright blue eyes, messy brown hair, and a small nose. He wears jeans, a dark blue shirt, and a blue cap that say 'Alaska' across the rim (he usualy wears this back-wards).

Bio: Aaron moved to Horizon Elementary's town only two years ago, and is still struggling to make friends. His mom is often not home, and he spend a lot of time with his father, who teaches him Chinese sometime. He isn't very popular among the other kids, but manages to earn [I]some[/I] respect during reccess. He constantly wonders why he's feeling so... friendly towards girls all of the sudden.

'Weaponry': A pocket full of 'Atomic Fire-balls', witch can be thrown or spit out as little, well, explosives. A frisbee... use is obvious.

*age will not be included... you are 11*
Gender: Female
Nationality: Uhh? American. A mix of lots of stuff.
Personality: A sweet, emotional kid. Very funny, and slightly calm in the changes. *whisper*she has an older sister who is 16*whisper* She is very hyper, plenty of energy, and one of the smartest kids in her class. Her parents are thinking of moving her up a grade. Often flirtacious. Always has been.
Appearance: See attachment ? minus: wings, antenea, ears are round. About 4?5?(yup)
Bio: She is five years younger than her sister, Kelsi, who is pretty mature. Her sister just got her drivers permit, and is about to graduate from high school. Dez?s life has been pretty average until now: kerfew of 8:00, lots of homework, plenty of friends.
Weaponry: Bendy rulers, baseball bats[/color][/font][/size]

[SIZE=1][B]Name: Kevin Williams

Gender: Male

Nationality: English and Welsh (English was his father, and Welsh be his mother)

Personality: Calm, serious, and lot's of respect for other kids, not adults. In his eyes, their the future, and they're being treated wrong. He's not afraid to get told off or anything, he's just brave. He hates people who bully others, and hates people who tease/call other cultures. Though he is serious and calm, he is also a little gothic-like because of his older brother.

Appearance: He has short spikey red hair, really, really red (not orange-ish), a little pale skin, but not too pale. He has a jacket which stretches down to the back of his knees at the back, and a white t-shirt under that. He has black jeans and normal black trainers.

Bio: His gothic brother Daniel made sure Kevin knew respect, and also made sure Kevin knew about adults not knowing anything about a childs life. He told Kevin that when the adults today where kids it was different, but they still didn't understand. This gave Kevin the "respect kids but not adults" attitude. The reason for hating people who tease other cultures or people by what they are is because he had a nasty experience with a few kids when he was 6. From then on he hated people who did things like that.

Weaponry: A fountain pen (sharp, ain't they?) and twigs or sticks nearby.[/SIZE][/B]

Gender: Female
Nationality: Hispanic
Personality: Unsurpassed imagination! That's what she has. She loves to draw and loves soccer more than anything. She hasn't really thought much of others, especially boys, but now things have slowly been changing. Despite her creativity and energy, she has trouble making friends and is very shy around others.

Bio: Her father was hispanic (Puerto Rican) and her mother was a regular American. She has lots of spare energy and is very creative. Her dad somehow always seems displeased by the fact that she doesn't do anything that could be considered hispanic.

Because, I am 13 and in 7th. ^^ And thus, if you count back, it comes to 11 in 4th!

Yeah... umm... just fuzzy logic there. Doesn't matter though. Keeping the sign-ups open, but starting it anyway. Why? Because I'm itching to start it, and it doesn't really matter how many people we have.

Nationality: Irish/Dutch
Personality: Casey is a perfectly normal fourth-grade girl. She loves crafts, jump rope, and music. She doesn't make friends super-easy, but the friends she does make she's super-loyal to. She will sometimes gossip with the other girls, but she also defends the people being made fun of if they obviously didn't do anything wrong.Casey enjoys being alone once in a while to write a story or read a book. She is ok with how she's changing, but doesn't like that it has to happen to all the boys. Because boys were some of her best friends until now, it's easy for her to talk to them, wether she likes them or not. getting them to talk to her is a different story. She also doesn't understand why they keep tugging on her hair if they like her.
Appearance: Short, skinny girl with long, straight, fire red hair with natural highlights that she likes to wear differently every day. Her freckled face has a small, pug-type nose and a small mouth that is almost always smiling. Her big hazel eyes are framed by her kinda-cute glasses.
Bio: When she was little, her three uncles and her dad went to a casino for a men's night out. While they were there, all of them got killed in a shooting. She and her mom moved in with her three aunts and two older cousins who are 16-year old ferternal twins, one boy, one girl.

Weaponry: Jump rope, Big collection of marbles, and her pet cat.

[u]Personality:[/u] Quite most of the time, but has hyperactive tendencies which cause him to get into trouble frequently. Always comes up with radical and wild ideas all of the time, usually attempts to try and increase his popularity or wealth.
[u]Appearance:[/u] Very tall for his age. Maturing earlier than his peers. Brown hair, blue eyes. Not goofy-looking like most of the kids.
[u]Bio:[/u] Has been picked on a lot due to his heigth and his ideals. The typical, "You're different, so I'm going to make fun of you," elementary banter. Has several friends, though, despite this.

Nationality: Japanese-Spanish
Personality: Niki dosn't really care of who talks about her or her looks.As long as she has good friends such as Aaron shell be alright.She never got into areguements..not until now.
Appearance: Niki is very"preety" and she has brown hair and slanted eyes.Bio: Nikis father is never home becuase of his job.She has gon to Horizen Elemantry all her life
Weaponry: She uses a bow.She throws one of her bows as "cutting"weapon.Each color has a different power.Red:Explosive,Blue:Small water gun,Yellow:cuts

Name: Brad

Gender: male
Nationality: cocasian (From Canada so he can speak English and French)
Personality: Is a pyro and wants to fly. He lost his eyebrows in a "lab experiment" with "rocket fuel". Moved here from Canada and has a very short fuse. Moved quickly through puberty but because of the "lab experiment" he has not been able to gain chest hair.
Appearance: Grey hair, tall for his age but thin, Blue eyes.
Bio: Moved here from Canada this year and he has a short fuse, wants to fly and lost his eyebrows in a "lab experiment" with "rocket fuel". Likes trying to "get with the ladies" but fails most of the time.
Weaponry: Left-over "rocket fuel", lighter, hockey stick "scythe"

Gender: female

Nationality: irish and german

Personality: Sara is always following in her big sisters footsteps, hoping someday she can be like her big sister. She loves reading and lately she has been mainly intrested in romance books(her reading level is higher than you avarage 11 year old kid). Due to family problems she dosn't talk much. Lately she's noticed that alot of the boys at school stare at her, and whenever a boy talks to her she starts blushing and has a hard time talking. She also likes vampires and belives that they are real.

Appearance: (she looks like the kid in the pic. I attached but she has green eyes) Sara has short hair that her sister helped dye purple causing many people to look at her odly. Her sister is also a cloth designer and designs most of Sara's elegant and expensive looking cloths.

Bio: Sara was abandoned at an orphanage when she was four. At first when she was adopted her new mom, dad, and sister loved her very much because they thought she was so cute. Her mom and dad eventally started ignoring her and lost all intrest with her and her sister. Nowadays Sasa and her sister are like best freinds and Sara dosn't ever see her step parent because they are only home late at night when she is asleep.

Weaponry: Any hardcover book she happens to be carring
