foreverinfinity
A few simple questions 1. Can new members be in groups 2. How do you get in a group 3. If possible, how do you make a group
Semjaza
I asked James about this awhile back. It's just something that's built into vB3 and there are no plans to utilize it for OB last I heard. So basically, no one is in any member groups.
James
Tony's right. This is a feature that came with vB3 as a default and we just haven't used it yet. The reason we haven't used it is because every single group has to be personally approved by an Administrator by default. This means that Charles or I could be sitting there approving group after group each day. Right now, the system requires too much Administrator control. I would rather have a Group Membership system that is entirely controlled by the members themselves, so that they can designate group leaders and so on. It's something we will look at doing in the future, but not right now. At the moment we have other updates planned, which I think people will enjoy more than the Group Membership system anyway.
