how do you control your anger?

right now, my body is shaking so f*cking badly and feels like i'm having a heartattack. i read something i shouldn't have.. this is scary feeling. i think i'm gonna drop dead right now. i never felt this so much anger before. it's been hour later but i CANT STOP ****ING SHAKING.

i'm here to play immature 'cause they played immature and hypocrite way. but importantly, we all acted same way.

DO YOU KNOW HOW YOU USE TO RUN YOUR FORUM?? for as [b]being power hungry monarchs[/b] something is, not allowing war topics, no crap posts, sig rules, no bad words isn't the same? i respected the rules here, but someone didn't want to follow.

#not talk about banned members- reason topics were deleted
#no more crap posts- telling admin that war topic is crap post and shouldn't do it at all
#don't post for other banned members- which someone did on 22nd
#reason she was so called b*tch to him, cause he was being an @sshole to her first. i saw the topic and i agree with her.
#ppl told they were leaving, and yet, came back and complain that they were banned.
#if you don't like the place anymore, why do you want to come back and try to bother us? to teach us something? you can prove that you are far superior?
#he looked at duo's and cam's pm...they were celebrating. telling each other how good job they were doing. it all started when they got started on off topic. which was also new rule. but it started because xena incident. the same person complained and it was made.

i can answer your questions. i'm sure this topic wont go far, becuase ya also have strict rules too. but pm me or at least. but get this, i'm not talking to just one person. there's several of you.

how can it be powerhungry? please do explain. i just don't get it. we were planning to bann all who were causing troubles. that's all. all they do is aplogize and do it all over again. he was planning to shut it down but we do have ppl that still wants to talk to each other. dx even suggested closed it for month and re0pen and send a invitation to those who only we are close.

i'm just too p*ssed to think.

okay, what you should...............................i'm confused. what are you on about. i know you're really really angry about something, but i'm not quite sure. my best advice would be to lie down, and try to snooze. then you might feel better once you wake up.

controlling anger is a thing thats absolutel hard to do. i have an anger problem and my friends are helping my to control it. if friends keep helping you control your anger, you can be in complete control of yourself

I'd like to comment on a few things you mentioned in your post.

First, about the rules and the whole power hungry thing. I'll never understand why people can get such a chip on their shoulder -- is it because they think they could do a better job, or because they hate authority figures?

People seem to forget that this is our board. We finance and produce this board. Therefore, we can do what we want with it. People don't have to like it -- if they don't, they don't have to visit.

I think that's a fairly obvious thing, but it seems that some haven't gotten the message. If I were visiting a board and they did something I didn't like, I might complain...but there is no way I'd ruin the experience for everyone else.

Also, these spammers are hypocrites. On the one hand, they don't want the boards to go to hell and they complain if they think that the boards are going downhill -- yet on the other, they become what they hate...they become the element which makes the boards no fun for everyone else.

And secondly, there is the thing there about them talking to each other and saying what a good job they did.

They did [b]not[/b] do a very good job. It was a downright crap job if you ask me.

What have they achieved? OtakuBoards.com is still online. Infact, we are flourishing. New server, better board software...more features. If anything, they [b]promoted[/b] OtakuBoards.com. So they actually achieved the opposite of what they wanted.

And while doing so, they publically humiliated themselves.

Need I say anything more about them? No. They have said more than enough about their own stupidity.

As for the rules...well...I visit a few other forums. One of them is over at N-Sider.com, where I write articles.

Those forums are incredibly strict. Very very strict. They are 100x more strict than OtakuBoards.com. But you know what? They're great. That strictness ensures that the conversation is always good and that members who can truly contribute to good discussion are welcomed.

Part of the reason that we may get more stupid members here is that we are losing strictness. More strictness = better filtering of people. It means that you get rid of people who don't really contribute anything meaningful.

So for anyone who thinks we're strict here, think yourself lucky. We're nowhere near as strict as other boards. And as I said, increased strictness might cause some to leave the boards, but by the same token, it means that we receive better newer members all the time.

People can browse the boards before joining, take a look at the rules and then see how we run the place. They can see what's expected of them as a member. And then they can decide whether or not to join.

I'm sick of those spammers thinking they have the upper hand when they clearly don't.

In any case...this isn't a world war lol...it's an anime and gaming board for christ's sake. Let's not pretend that we're vigilantes fighting for freedom -- those who do that are nothing more than idiot spammers.

Anyway...I've said more than enough. But the whole thing annoys me. I'm glad that most of the members here aren't like Thimoc and his misguided group of spammers.[/color][/size]

Well since I know this is a DIRECT shot at me..... I don't know how to respond.

Cloud, whats done is done... I'm not going back to AC.... Lady and Sledge may think I want to start something, thats simply not the case. Whatever

Loc does is on his own discression..... yes he tells me what he does, but there's no way I can "warn" anyone because I'm banned and Lady and Sledge have blocked me on AIM. No I don't hire Loc.... no I'm not going back to AC to Spam.... They let their true feelings come out, that I knew they had...... so I let my own come out. I dunno how you read mine unless someone posted them.... but whatever..... As DX so elequantly put it "times are changin"..... he certainly got that right. He left out how people change too. EVERYONE, not just the people other people think have changed. Everyone changed...

I have no problem with most of the people at AC, just a few, certainly not you or Cobra. And now I'm gone from there and I don't plan on coming back because I'm not that type of person that comes back to spam or whatever.

Alot of people feel that the banning of me and other members is unjust (ie: Loc) thus what they do I cannot stop. I don't tell Loc what to do so if thats what they were thinking, well they got it wrong. He's doing this all from his own. But I do know about it, just because he tells me.....

People already bashed my close friends..... I know what it's like..... They bashed Z, they bashed Cam..... I don't know why, I don't care why..... They did it to me.... i know how it feels....

Anyway, like I said, it's over for me at least..... what the other people do is not up to me. It's to their own discression

As for being "power hungry monarchs" i suppose everyone has a different definition behind that. This board is slightly different.... AC had 200 maybe people... this has over 1000..... to keep control over 200 is alot easier than 1000+.... i just do what I'm told.... so that has nothing to do.... I never changed the way I admin or mod since the days of AP....it's the same... and always has been for the most part.

I'm not gonna address this issue further on THIS board..... I would be happy to discus it with you on AC, but as you noticed, that simply won't happen.... I didn't PM you for the simple reason that PMs have a limit on characters..... and I don't feel like sending multiple PMs

I dunno why this is still an issue, what I posted in my journal is for the people who want to respond to my journal to see.... not to be posted elsewhere.... it's my true feelings.... my way to express myself fully and completely without wasting people's times on Forums.... But thats over... I haven't cared for 2 or so days now, and I don't care now.... I'm not coming back, and I will no longer talk about them after this post unless responding to you or them. What they did is done, what I did is done.... It's both our faults.... lets move on shall we?

i just want this to be over too....things were said by everyone that shouldn't have been.....everyones regreting this now.....i think what happened was the stress level of the world jumped through the roof last month, and people are lashing out....and not in a normal or healthy way.....
