Anime Which ANime Character do you dislike/ Like the Least

I thoght I would make a new thread, I don't think this one has been made before ( I had a look), but if it has, I do apologize, I was thinking, we have all sorts of threads that ask which Character we like the most out of an Anime, but none on which you dislike, or like the least, so I thought I'd try with this

I think the person I would dislike the most would be General Sceptum from Gundam Wing, he was just one of those people who believe in war, and not the safty of the people, and he would do just about anything to get what he wanted, that is prolly why I wasn't that upset when [spoiler]Lady Une killed him,[/spoiler] but saying that, he deserved it, after all of what he did, well thats my reason

My least liked character would have to be Picolet Chardin II from Ranma 1/2. Watching anime I have found some characters I don't like because of the evil acts they do, but with Picolet, he just made me physically ill. The massive amounts of food he eats and the way he does it makes me loose my appetite!

Just the way he [spoiler]kissed girl Ranma by putting half of her in this mouth was gross! The long lips and tongue flapping around wasn't very attractive aswell.[/spoiler] That particular character just really makes me sick!

I know there are lot of really bad/evil characters that people hate. There are also lots of annoying/obnoxious characters in anime. For me Picolet Chardin II from Ranma 1/2 is far and away the worst because he is the only one that will actually effect me in my real life. I lose my appetite whenever I see him. No other character does that to me. Eeegah, now I don't want to even eat lunch....

If I were to pick one out of what I'm currently watching, though, I would put Hyuuga Neji from [i]Naruto[/i] on top of my list. One of my pet peeves - maybe my strongest one - is arrogance. There's something worse than hatred within someone who is too full of themselves to see the truth or accept others.[/color][/font]

You have a point Azurewolf, I think you may be right, I think I am like Lady Une, I am like a revengeing angel, I hate people who betray otheres, or hurt others, nd my friend was doing this, he was hurting someone for no reason, and i couldn't tkae it, so I decided to smack him, in anger, I don't know why I had this out-burst, but since that, I can't just watch someone suffer, and so, that is prolly why i cannot stand Sceptum, thank you for bringing that point up Azurewolf, what about you?

My least favorite anime character is probably the chaos (Xenosaga character) lookalike from the Revolutionary Girl Utena movie where she turns into a seahorse-ish car at the end. I can't stand chaos because he is the least macho person I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen a character act so gay in a game and still take himself seriously (nothing against homosexuals, obviously; you know what I'm talking about). Well the R.G.U. character is barely a supporting character in the film, so I don't know his name. But he looks and sounds just like chaos (although chaos talked in English and the R.G.U. char talked in Japanese), meaning I can't stand him. I don't know if any of you know who I'm talking about.

Well my least favorite Char. would have to be, Miroku From Inuyasha. I dislike him becuase hes a dumb person, now im not saying pervs aren't cool but hes jsut a crazy a** and i just dilike him, even if his wind tunnel is pretty cool

My favorite would have to be a tie between Shinobu from Love Hina and Chii from Chobits. my least favorite would have to be Ms. Shimizu from Mahoromatic, something about her just annoyed the crap out of me.

Kagome (from Inuyasha) is by no means my least favorite character, but I just can't bring myself to like her. The girl's attitude and behavior really get to me. She's not very bright--and though I don't demand that all females be intelligent, her mind works a touch too slowly for my tastes. Furaba's Tohru, a character I've always loved and one who could be considered similar to Kagome, isn't known for her mental brilliance. I guess I find Tohru's uncomplicated kindness more appealing than Kagome's teeter-tottering between perkiness and angst.

Ultimately, I see Kagome as a weak, whiny person who complains about her emotions and yet refuses to act upon them. Inuyasha's suffering would be greatly diminished if he ceased to think of Kikyo as a viable romantic option. Because Kagome has no backbone, he continues to waffle between the two girls and will probably do so until the show winds to a close.

I hate it when women avoid standing up for themselves, in real life as well as anime. It's not as though Kikyo and Inuyasha are engaged or anything--she makes a fantastic tragic figure, but she's sort of.... um, dead. There's nothing stopping Kagome from pursuing him except for her own fears and insecurities.

Well I would have to say that my least favorite anime character would have to be Hercule from Dragon Ball Z. I say this because in the show alot of people think of him as the greatest fighter in the world when almost anyone else could beat him in a fight. I really hate him because during the Cell Saga ss2 Gohan was my all time favorite anime character ever and still is today. Hercule took all the credit for the defeat of Cell even though Gohan used all his energy and soul into defeating Cell and this just pissed me off to no end.


This is why I really hate Hercule and still do to this day!

My least favorite anime character over all is definately ChibiUsa/Small Lady/ SailorCHibiMoon/Rini/ ect ect. Even when she was being helpful or kind to the other senshi I couldn't help but dislike the little 2 demensional being. I have my reasons:

1.) She's a manipulative brat [spoiler]She brainwashed the Tsukinos so she could stay in their house[/spoiler] And as if that weren't enough she continuously invades Usagi's privacy and trashes her room. They don't show it in the NA dub, but in the Japanese version she even [spoiler]wets Usagi's bed then cries when Usagi gets mad at her[/spoiler] In this same episode she [spoiler]puts some sleeping potion in the girl's tea and tried to snoop around[/spoiler]

2.) She has no respect or appreciation for what other people do for her. Okay, once in the R movie she remarks that SailorMoon is everyone's mother and will protect them. and in the Ss movie she tells Lady Vadianu that SailorMoon 'Will never let that happen' when she says she'll steal children's dreams or something (I haven't seen the movie in a while) But other than that she's an ungrateful child who over uses the fact time and time again that she's a lonely girl tossed into the future without her mom. Who cares? ChibiUsa/Rini is nasty to Usagi/Serena even after she finds out that Usagi/Serena is her mom.

3.) She has no respect for other people's property and will even steal from people. Case in point Usagi/Serena's brooch in SailorMoonR. She stole that and the inner senshi were captures and put in danger. And Usagi's bedroom.

4.) She has a rather unhealthy infatuation with her father. Example: S movie when she rolls over with Usagi and mutter's Mamo-chan.

5.) In the manga [spoiler]ChibiUsa was responsible for the death of SailorPluto[/spoiler] so she's a murderer as well. Sure, [spoiler]Pluto came back to life[/spoiler] as all senshi do, but did ChibiUsa ever do time in jail? No!

Those are my five main reasons for not liking ChibiUsa/Small Lady/ ect ect. My least favorite anime charater ever.[/color]

I would have to agree with Jim on this one, because I too, dislike Hercule.

He is ignoent and he takes all of the glory for him-self. And in the game DBZ:B1 he uses a jet-pack to fly around with the others.

I also dislike that wind sorcerase from Inuyasha cant think of her name but I also dislike her. I mean that she hates her master Naraku.

I would have to say that my least fave, charictor would have to be shinji's father from evangelion. the only reason he contacted shinji was to have for an Eva pilot. now that is rong........

As we see later in the series, [spoiler]Hercule's the one responsible for befriending good Buu and then destroying evil Buu[/spoiler]. While not a hero, he represents people's hope in the series.[/color][/size][/font]

Aha! I know! I'm afraid I'll have to agree with Skippedry. u_u

Kagome has always, to be frank, pissed me off. She is irritating, whiney, ultra-dependant and the epitome of "the little schoolgirl."
I don't mind if a female character is not necessarily as strong (physically) as a male character, as long as they make up for it with personality (Haruno Sakura, any one?).

But what really irks me about Kagome is how [i]boring[/i] she is. And I mean drop-dead-dull. No quirks (what's a character without quirks?! T_T), no disability (mental or physical), no interesting personality...just a stereotype. She's a goody-goody, sock-glue-toting, homework-doing, pink-bike-riding, sporty, popular little...thing. And, to make matters worse, she has some kind of Sacred Jewel Thing sealed up inside of her. Oh. And she's the reincarnation of an ancient priestess.
There is simply no new material there.

Inuyasha is entertaining (well, the earlier episodes, anyway), if not the best series ever created *cough*, and Miroku, Sango and Sesshoumaru's little troupe of freaks will always have a place in my heart (along with many, many other things). But the main character sucks. And I mean [i]major[/i] suckage. (If you're gonna jump on me about the "main character" thing, I hate Inu, as well. u_u He's unoriginal.)

Another character I simply don't like is Uchiha Sasuke, as he is just annoying. However, though he has an essence of typicallity (is that a word? prolly not, but hey! : D ), he is a [i]personality[/i], not a droid that's been used a bajillion times before, because it "works".

My favorite few characters are: Sailor Moon/Usgi/Serena, Hana-chan and Onpu from Doremi, Luchia from Mermaid Melody, all of the good guys from InuYasha, and Ichigo from Tokyo Mew Mew.

I have two characters that I like the least. They are Naraku and Kikyo from InuYasha. Kikyo seems to be so evil to me and Naraku as just a horrid excuse for a demon. InuYasha is drooling over a dead woman...yuck. :\

Anyway. Thought I would add to the thread. ^^;; Although, reading along through some other posts, I feel somewhat upset that my favorite characters are being frowned upon. I guess everyone has their own Anime characters they like and don't like. I like hearing other opinions on disliking characters though.

I think I have to disagree with Lita's point, When they say that Gendo Ikari dos not love his son, I do believe that in a way, Gendo does have a cold relationship with his son, and it as worsoned by the fact that his wife, Yui ikari, died and his made rlationships bewen Shinji and Gendo hard, but i don't think he ever stopped loving him, just that he didn't know how

And I think this could be proven in the last episode, when Shinji finally breaks out of this cycle of depresion, and realizes he is not alone, and then I think we finally see how much Gendo reall loves him, and just how many people actually do care about him.

So really, throgh the series Gendo is trying to 'toughen' his son up, because he loves him so much.

[color=darkblue]The only character I've ever actively disliked was Iyaka from Tenchi. She was utterly useless in every way, shape, and form. And what's up with the hair? Good lord, I know princesses have to wear certain hairstyles sometimes, but [i]you're on earth now, for godssakes.[/i]

Ryoko was so much better. She should have ended up with Tenchi. I will curse the writers of that show til the day I die! Die! Man, I hate that show. It was good, but I hated the whole thing.[/color]

The anime character that I dislike the most would have to be Shampoo from Ranma 1/2. First of all I hate the way she acts, almost smothering Ranma with endearments and hugs--it's pretty annoying. And her voice, let's not even go there... :flaming:

But the part which really ticked me off was the part where NABIKI........... told them that they were bound by the love mushroom so they decided to eat the cure, and now they're NOT in love, they're NOT getting married, NOT having a perfect life with each other and it's ALL - NABIKI'S - FAULT!!!

i also dislike Ru Rufusu (Final Fantasy Unlimited). While she has some pretty cool aspects [spoiler](her changing into a wolf whenever she looks into a mirror, for example)[/spoiler], her complete and utter obsession with Kuroki Kaze borders on disturbing.

those annoying munchkins in Orphen after watching two episodes i hated it because of them they turned me off it without them it would have been an alright series but they were useless badly designed and annoying, did i mention annoying!!! if there is anythng that will make me hate a series is poor character design and sheer annoying-ness.

[size=1][color=darkblue]An anime character that I have never come to like would be, Kagome. She is just about the only anime character I have ever really disliked and so highly at that matter. I hate her always cheerful, peppy ways. She makes me want to be sick sometimes. Besides, if she wants to do something about Kikyo and Inuyasha, why doesn't she jusy do something? Even though I would not approve of that kind of action, it only seems reasonable. She always seems lost in her own affairs, never really thinking to many things through. I just can't find anything I like about her.

Another reason why I do not really care for Kagome is that always seems to want to have everything her way. I could understand why, but, honestly, others have their needs and feelings as well. I mean, with the whole Kikyo and Inuyasha thing, it would be nice if she simply left them alone. I cannot see Inuyasha and Kagome being a great couple either. I have always thought Kikyo to be my favorite character. I find it odd that, being an incarnation and all, you would think that they would be fairly similar.

So, easily, Kagome would be my least favorite anime character with her dense, happy, and angsty ways.[/color][/size]
