Guest Heezay
Yes, it's time for some serious balling. The Playoffs are already in full swing, with some vicious clashes between teams having already been played out( Kings beat the Mavericks), some still taking place(Heat vs. Hornets), and some promising matchups coming(Lakers vs. Spurs) in the semifinals. Personally, I can't wait to watch the Lakers against the Spurs, as these two teams are amazing, the only two teams to win the Championship in the last five years, and they are almost complete opposites in their playing style as well. Though I do favor the Lakers, they're my favorite team. What's your favorite team? Player? Rookie? Coach? Who do you think is going to win the Championship this year? Galvatron
Well im a Kings fan and I would like to say it's time for the Kings to final win it all but I fear my Kings have big problems on defense. That first round had me on the edge of my seat with Nash taking a last minuet shot in game two and with Dirk in game five I think. Every say's the T-Wolves can beat the Kings, the last time they played the Kings gave up in the fourth. I think the Kings can beat the T-Wolves it's just going to be down to final seventh game. Guest Heezay
Yeah thankfully Dallas is out, they are a tough team to beat. But the Kings did it. They'll have a tougher time though, against recently-crowned- MVP Kevin Garnett and his team. Anyway, Game 7 of the Heat vs. Hornets is taking place soon, and the home advantage is going to the Heat. I love the Hornets, but Dwayne Wade and Rafer Alston, Lamar Odom, and Coach Stan Van Gundy are all amazing guys, and I don't want them to lose. The Heat are really excited to be in Game 7, it's a first for many of them.
Guest Midnight Rush
Man, you beat me to making this topic lol. Anyways my predictions are here: Lakers/Spurs- Spus 4-2 Kings/T-Wolves-Kings 4-3 Heat/Hornets-Hornets 4-3 Detroit/Nets-Nets 4-2 Indiana/Hornets-Indiana 4-0 Spurs/Kings-Kings 4-3 Indiana/Nets-Indiana 4-3 THE FINALS: Indiana Pacers VS. SACRAMENTO KINGS!!!!! Game 1- Pacers. THey will have homecourt, and they will take it, but not by muich. Maybe a 88-90 deal. Bibby will keep Kings competitive, as will an explosive Doug Christie. Game 2-Kings. The Kings are going to come off the first loss and dominate the first three quarters of the 2nd game. In the fourth its gonna be tight, but Kings will pull it out. Maybe a 117-110 deal. Game 3-Back at Sacramento, the Kings should take it. Maybe not though, depends totally on Bibby's assists going above 15 and his three pointers staying hot. If Webber/Miller come up with 40pts total, its all Sacramento. Game 4- Sacramento. They have the end in sight at this point and they'll go up 3-1 in the series. This will probably be the only blowout in the series, I'd guess 15-17 pts spread here. Game 5-Back at Indiana, the Pacers will dominate the entire game and win by roughly 5. Bibby won't be hitting as well, and the load will fall on Stojakavic, he will deliver but not by enough. The Pacers will make it 3-2 Sacramento. Game 6- Again the Pacers will win, but the lead will change places many many times. A very close and competitive win, the Pacers will tie the series 3-3. GAME 7 "THE GAME'- At Sacramento, the Kings will come out strong and take an early lead. THe Pacers schweet D will keep them in check, and the Pacers will tie it before halftime. Going into half Divac will be sitting because of fouls, maybe Miller as well. Indiana's foul trouble will be with Jermaine O'Neal (he's with them right? I havent followed them any lol) and his aggressive play. Second half Pacers will lead throughout the third, but in the fourth Bibby will kick in. He will hit 7 or 8 threes and have a dazzling assist performance, and they will go into the first overtime. OT- THe Kings will win by a single bucket over the great Pacers, leaving the East disappointed again. GO KINGS!!!! GO RAIDERS!!!!
Nehszriah
I hate pro basketball. It should die. Even my hometown's Pistons and their poofy wigs should be bueried in a shallow mass grave. Go Wings. I don't care that they're out. Grrr...
satan665
...If you don't like Bball, you should probably just not post here. I don't care who wins as long as it is NOT the Lakers. Mostly I don't like them becuse they won enough already, Shaq is a big annoying baby, and the whole thing with Malone and Payton coming to LA just to try to win a championship. I was rooting for the Buck's, even though I knew they didn't have a chance. They're a great shooting team, but have no defense. You really need some D to get anywhere, but at least they made it to the playoffs. Now I'm hoping for Sacramento, I like all the international players on their team. Who couldn't like Vlade? Guest Midnight Rush
Yeah Valde rules. He boxes out well, misses a few but is pretty solid. You gotta love the acting thing too lol! Did you see the Vlade Divac poetry ocmmerical? Made my sides split lol. Divacs should rock against Minnesota. Any, Sacramento leads 48-47 at the time of my posting. UPDATE: THE KINGS HAVE WON GAME ONE AT MINNESOTA!!!!!!!!! SACRAMENTO BEAT TIMBERWOLVES AT TIMBERWOLVES HOME!!!!! W00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!! Guest Heezay
The Heat did it. This is the first Game 7 that they've won since 1997. Now they're off to face the top seeded Pacers, who have won the most games during this season( 61 if I'm right). And yep, the Kings won Game 1- but who knows, the Timberwolves could come back. On another note, I want the Lakers to win. Hey, the Spurs are a great team...but they are standing in the Lakers' way. THey must be ELIMINATED. Free Kobe Free Kobe if Jay Williams can get off and we all know he did it then Kobe should be able to get off also because he's innocent. I want the Pacers to win against the Heat I want to see a rematch in the Finals Lakers vs. Pacers this time Reggie will not go down without a fight.
