Magus
Wow.... tonights episode was really something.
I wouldn't ever expect to see the major get hacked like that.
But after seeing that, I was pretty much at the edge of my seat.
I'm also intrigued about the relationship between the major and Kuze.
Earlier I was watch the 1st season (laughing man episode), and I was wondering what ever happened to that case? It's like they just dropped it or something.
I wonder if there's a connection between the individual eleven and the laughing man... that'd be interesting.
I probably have to rewatch one of those earlier episodes of the 2nd gig. I think I remember hearing them mentioning something about it.
Dagger
I (finally) sat my butt down and watched the last two DVDs. Good stuff as always; although the 2nd Gig was better overall than the first season, I think the climax of the first season made more of an impact on me than these final episodes. I have a hard time not feeling numb in response to the whole concept of
an impending nuclear threat,
and the show is written in too detached a manner to surmount that reaction. Which is all very ironic, but no matter. The best part of the last episode was when
Kuze asked the Major if she had anyone she could open up to, and the camera cut to a shot of Batou propping up the metal cross-beams. All of the parts with those two talking face to face were great, even though this was thanks to the body language and not really what they were actually saying.
However, I didn't like the fact that it was never quite made clear
how much they knew/remembered about each other.
At least I don't think it was; it'd be great if someone could contradict me. On a different note,
Gouda's death
was so satisfying. I almost laughed when I saw it, because I immediately found myself thinking of how much fun it must have been to write and animate.
Rolling eyeballs... mm.
Anyway, I'm confident that SSS will be excellent, and I hope that [strike]the token bishounen[/strike] Proto at least gets a cameo in it. :p ~Dagger~
vegeta rocker
I can't wait to see the Unikomas, i KNOW they have to be next. But i guess i can't be sure. I really enjoy the GITS universe, i just bought the innocence OST recently. I have only seen the first two dvds of 2nd gig and i truly can't wait. Im going to go cuddle with my stuffed tachikooma now.

Lol. I think everyone found
Gouda's death
to be amusing. Just never would've thought Adult Swim would show it in full glory.
(With his eye popping out like that and whatnot.)
Not surprised by it, but at the same time it was kind of unexpected. Err.. I need someone to kind of break it down for me though. I've seen both seasons of the series, and I'm still not understanding what a stand alone complex is. I want to say it's like 1 person trying to change the society or something along those lines, and that's just a "1st thing that comes to mind answer". (I'm kind of slow in picking these things up so my apologies :animeswea )
