ChibiHorsewoman
What kinds of hidden things do you like to do (legally and not explicit please!) that you really think you might get laughed at for? Do you talk to yourself when your doing mundane tasks? Listen to pop music that you otherwise pretend not to know about? Or maybe you play on teh swings at the playground and then go down the slide and deduct 18 years from your life. Then again, maybe it's just me who does those things. *runs away and hides in her closet* Okay this is what I'll admit to to get the ball rolling: I own a Michelle Branch and an Avril Lavigne CD. I even listen to them! I enjoy singing the meow mix sing in the shower and for the time being I sleep with a stuffed cow with a green t-shirt that says: 'Hugs and Kisses from Ft.Polk' because my husband sprayed it with Lancome Miracle before he gave it to me and that's what he smells like when he's not working. There I admited some strange things. Now you can either laugh at me so I run away or admit that you also do things you indulge in.
Panda
Ok, time to spill my guts! I just hope this doesn't change your opinions of me...unless it is for the better, then I am all for change! :p I really love 80's power ballads. I will sing them at the top of my lungs while driving my car. Songs by Cinderella, Winger, Poison, Skid Row....if it is a power ballad, I will love it. I know they are super cheesy, but I love them anyway. I am a rabid Genjo Sanzo fangirl. I have dreams about him! I think there might be something wrong with me and this obsession I have over an animated character. I think I am going to watch some more Saiyuki as soon as I finish this. I have more pictures of Sanzo on my website than I have of my hubby! Well, those 2 things are really my secret indulgence. I swoon over Sanzo and sing power ballads. Perhaps I should combine the two, sing power ballads while thinking of Sanzo! Oh, that just breaks my heart!
Ryu_Sakura
Hm... Eh... I have a few... I love to sign to random songs on my Winamp, endlessly, infact right now I'm sighing along to 'Beetlejuice' the opening theme for the show. I have this mad obsession with Dee from -FAKE-, (I've even planned on how to kill Ryo, and JJ! Mwahahaha!) But I will sit there just rambling on to my little sister (the one who hates anime/manga and just tell her how i'll kill both of them, usully involving their corpses to be mutalated. ^^ Violence is good!) This is very embarassing.... I sleep with stuffed animals. ^^;; Used to sleepl every day with a teddy bear I named Mr.Fuzzumsuzzumuzzumuzzms, even though it's a girl. ^^; But now only if I'm really upset, and then I might talk to her! ^^;;;;;;;;;
Skye
^__^ TIme be embarrassed. Secret indulgences(sp?)... Well, I sleep with stuffed animals. I have on that I've had since I was born(literally) named Stanford, who is a stuffed dragon. Really he's also a puppet, with ahole for your hand in between his wings. I have a stuffed animal named Loralei, a unicorn, that I got for Easter last year. GAH! I collect Beanie Babies. Their so cuuuuuuute!!! My favorite is Bruno. ^_^ Lessee.... another one: I sing the Meow Mix song, too! I also sing along with themes songs, like the Sailor Moon(japenese). My particular one, though, is the G Gundam. I love country music. ::blushes madly:: I have this huge crush on Keith Urban(or was it... nah). I am obssessed with country music, period. ::goes to hid in a boarded closet::
Guest ScirosDarkblade
Hah! I sleep with a stuffed rhino, croc, and leopard and I'm damn proud of it! It's no secret. The rhino is especially very cuddly and girls like him a lot. His name is Rhinox, or Rhox for short (2 different references, and whoever knows the second better know the first or I will from now on refer to him as the "Lord of the Rings," making fun of his extreme geekiness). Anyway, secret indulgences? Hmmm... ok. I have ALL the Enya CDs she ever released (besides crap singles, which I just found online), and I have nearly all the Karl Jenkins albums (the bastard who wrote Adiemus). Yeah, I was way into new age for a while. I'm not so much anymore, but it's not like it's any less weird to listen to 20 gigs of video game soundtracks (and remixes, orchestrations, etc.), which is what I currently do. Hehehehe. I also watch Kim Possible. Yeah. It's funny, so shut up! Ugh, who am I kidding. I have no secret indulgences. I wish I did. But nope, I have none. I don't give two craps about who knows what about me, and I never keep anything I do secret. But when I win the lottery I will secretly build myself a cave where I keep all my costumes and gadgets and cars and supercomputers and random trophies and then I'll have a secret crimefighting indulgence. I promise.
satan665
Porn counts as explicit right? Um...I have a toy collection that can easily put to shame any kid in the neighborhood and I'm 23. Picture shelves full of transformers and DBZ figures and a whole bunch of other stuff. I'm not really embarrassed about it though. I think the real secret one is dancing to music. I dance like a fool to my stereo when nobody is around. I'd never dare to do it around even my wife.
Charles
I visit OtakuBoards. Posting on here is something I'll rarely admit to anyone. The dorky stigma attached to posting on an anime-related Internet message board and the awkwardness of explaining such a hobby far outweigh my desire to go around mentioning such a thing. It's not that I'd feel particularly embarrassed if anyone should notice me posting here and I don't try to hide the fact, but it's definitely not something I'd ever bring forward and discuss if someone happened to ask me what my hobbies are. Otherwise, I'm pretty candid about any other activities I enjoy that could be considered taboo. I freely admit that I'm a wrestling fan, which people are quick to point out is silly. And, occasionally I'll watch a cartoon or two on Saturday morning before work. Nothing major. Flooding James's inbox with things related to technical support or assistance with OB/myOtaku features is probably the biggest culprit. Although he stopped replying to me for some unexplainable reason. Oh and video games can be an issue sometimes--such as Animal Crossing. Now, if paying back my debt to Tom Nook by fishing and catching bugs isn't a secret indulgence, then I don't know what is.
DeathBug
You knoww hat? It's weird, but I've actually become pretty open about my odd, immature hobbies. I used to hide it, but over the past few years, I realized I don't care what other people think of me. So, yeah, I have several Transformers, a huge-arse box of comic books, a Beanie Baby scorpion on top of my computer, a handsome Yu-Gi-Oh deck, and the full collection of Shaman King graphic novels. And I watch lots and lots of cartoons. I'm a mature guy with immature tastes. Wanna' make somethi'n of it? :)
Godelsensei
Where's the shame in loving stuffed animals? >:^O I have a stuffed bear that you will never, in a million years, learn the name of (_ _U) that I've had since I was a week old. *shrug* I also have a shelf full of Beanie Babies, though I haven't added to the collection since they brought out the craptacular "new" line. Hmph. The black widow is probably my favourite...>_> I really can't think of any "secret/embarrassing/both indulgences" I have, as I'm geeky enough from the start.

HetepKa
Ok, this is HARD for me, I've told these things to almost no one, so, here it goes!!! I LOVE THE BEATLES ,QUEENS AND THE ROLLING STONES!!!! Ok, I did it!! I've said it, and it's true, I've downloaded Queens and Rolling Stones songs, and I have the Beatles 1 collection of their gratest hits, and I enjoy listening to them!!! And, I sometimes, sing them while taking a shower, even though I also sing other stuff, wierd stuff as well, ok, I must confess, I sing "Acuarius" (Hope I spelled that right...) and old song that goes "When the moon is in the 7th house, and Jupiter alines with mars, then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars...bla bla bla" I also sing old rock and roll and soul songs, I guess I just like them...I can't believe I just said that  And, I sometimes sleep with my stuffed animals, and I dream about them, but, not often :wigout: They all have names, the horse is "Flash" the rabit is "Ms.Huggieloves" and, the sea otter (Strange animal to have as a stuffed animal, no? *.*)is called "Fuzzywuzzy sea ottery". I also tend to talk to myself and repeat random anime frases...So some people cualify me as insane, but, I don't mind, it's just something I do, and I can't control it XD Well, I believe these are some of the strange things I do, but there are more, but, I'm not telling!!! Lilt
Well my indulgences aren't all that secret, but they are all weird. :p ::counts off of her fingers:: For one thing, besides all of the embarrasing pop music I listen to, I really like that old Big Band music. You know, the really fast swing stuff. I know it's almost 100 years old, but I don't care. My dad owns so much of it I listened to it so much as a kid that now I'm hooked on the stuff. It's just so...energetic and old-timey. I'm also building up quite a weird hat collection. For example, in an Amish gift shop, I bought one of those black hats that the Amish men always wear because I didn't like the look of any of the bonnets on me. Oh, and I almost forgot about mah cows, that's another one of my somewhat secret obsessions. If something has anything to do with cows, then it always gets bonus points in my book. (I'd be a cowgirl in a second if they actually rode cows instead of horses.) Well, that's enough for now. I'm going to give out my secret obsessions in small doses only. It'll be healthier for all of you that way. ;) No way! You have a sea otter, HetepKa? I do too! I named mine, "Chitty". (Obviously inspired by the movie, "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang")
ChibiHorsewoman
I like to play in mud. I have since I was I was a little kid and my mom would get mad since she had to do the laundry. It's actually very fun. You go out on a hike in one of the old training feilds on base after a rain storm and squish through the mud. Most of my friends would be disgusted by this, and my husband doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm, but hey, what do I care? I'm playing in mud! I also watch Rugrats, Liberty's Kids and Jerry Springer. Oh, and I got into an argument with the TV screen while watching a Hockey Game. You peopel who talk to yourself, I'm just saying I'm much worse!

Xander Harris
LOL Biggs :rotflmao: I too watch Kim Possible, and am darn proud of it. It has some of the best animation and funniest plots you will find in American cartoons these days. I love to sing along with 'the naked-mole-rap'. Kim Possible rocks the world! Sometimes if I think I have something funny to say, I will just say it to the air. If someone laughs, I pretend like I was talking to them and life is good. If no one laughs, someone usually looks at me like I'm insane. I then give myself a stern talking to about acting like a mental patient when others are around, and head off to class. Silent Angel, swing music is awesome! I love jazz. Swing dancing is kind of fun too. We had that in PE once upon a time... of course, much of my enjoyment came from dancing as a partner with a hot Latina girl, so maybe it wasn't the dancing itself I enjoyed... Speaking of dancing... I have come to the realization that I cannot dance. I perform sketch comedy to a beat. Sometimes it is funny, sometimes it makes me look like a complete retarded spaz. When I try to seriously dance, I always look stupid. I think that's just a guy thing. Most girls look good when they dance. When they 'just move with the beat' (as they tell us to), they look cool and sometimes even sexy. We men look like dufuses, except those few of us who happen to not be WASPS, and those who have incredible physiques. I always feel equally stupid if I don't dance at a function where you are supposed to, so I try anyway, and the results are not pretty. As I mentioned earlier, however, dancing with girls is fun. Charles, most of my friends think OtakuBoards are the greatest things ever, but I have a hard time explaining them to people who aren't already involved. The one thing that drives me nuts is when I'm in the computer lab, minding my own business looking at OtakuBoards or some other geeky site, and some loudmouth moron starts yelling "Hey James! What's that? Porn!?! ARe ya lookin' up PORN!?!" Hardee Har HAr Har. What a damn comedian. That would have been funny... in seventh-grade! Grrrrr. Monkey_Orange
Hehe. Secret indulgences. I've got a few myself ^^; Anime/Manga I've got a big stash hidden in the bowels of my room & closet. I hide them from my mom because she'd totally go 'banshee' on me if she found out how much money I actually spent on them. I keep some out for display, so mum insists that she knows about the 'spending'. But, I honestly don't think that she knows of the 'full' extent of my stash. *is counting the days until she finally moves out for school this Fall ^^ * Spongebob Square Pants YES. I LIKE TO WATCH SPONGEBOB!!! Darn you, my young siblings! It's all their fault. I can't get enough of Spongebob and his merry marine friends. *starts to sing the opening* "Oh, who lives in the water and under the sea?
