Anime Who is the best anime character, in your opinon?

[COLOR=DeepSkyBlue]Heh, this is a tough question. I usually find that all the bishi characters are my favourites....but then again I am a mad fangirl (and damn proud of it).

Let's see, at the moment it would have to be Satoshi Hiwatari-kun from D*N*Angel. He's totally cool and I adore his hair (and he's bishi). His attitude in school and towards others is really awesome too, I always like the serious and cold characters.
Also, the way he treats Daisuki is so sweet, it's like Daisuki is the only person he cares about....without being in love with him....I think ^_^;

My second fave at the moment is Genjo Sanzo-sama from Saiyuki, even though I don't watch Saiyuki any more, he is such an amazing character! (Panda would confirm this, lol) He handles his gun expertly and when he fights he acts as if he is the greatest thing ever. Also, his outlook on religion is the same as mine AND we are both allergic to cats! How cool.

So, yeah, those two are my ultimate favourites but there are quite a few more which are great characters to watch. [/COLOR]

I would have to pick Spike Speigel because like you said he's calm has a cool attitude, and he's not afraid of death.

Let see, I also like Vash (trigun), Priss (Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040),
Yohko (Devl Hunter Yohko),Sailor Moon, Goku (DBZ), Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo),
Chihiro (Spirited Away).
And last but not lest my fav of them all is Inuyasha, because he's cool and he's a great fighter and he has great feelings towards Kagoma, and he'll never let anything happen to her.
And he is also way, way,way hot.

Lets see......Its so hard but I would have to say Arc.From Arc the lad,I know its a video game but, they made a anime about it.Arc is the hero he is caring,brave,and kinda cute.:love: He is always saving somebody and looking for the best interest of the people!!Next to him I would have to say Inuyasha of couse!I had to mention Inuyasha because it is a great anime to get into.

This question is too broad and tough to answer. I have too many favorite characters like Miyu(Vampire Princess Miyu), Van(Escaflowne), Hitokiri Battousai(Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal), Soujiro Seta, and Aoshi Shinomori(Rurouni Kenshin) but mostly, I'm gonna say D from Vampire Hunter D because he is always so emotionless and is so cool. I also like Rei from Evangelion for the same reason as D.

Well depends on your style I guess. I gotta go with the tough-guys. Alucard, Spike, Kenshin (OVA), Vash, Inuyasha, just to name a few. But I also like the goofballs too like Keitaro, and well, Vash, Goku, etc. Does it really matter? It's anime dude! Isn't that enough?!

I would have to say that Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai X is my favorite character. I like him because of his strength, speed and skill in battle also, I like his ideals all execpt for the no killing one. I do think its cool though that he can kick some *** without killing the person. Anyway thats why Kenshin is my favorite anime character.

I would say my favorite character is Vash.... no wait, Spike or Vash . No It's Wolfwood, yea Wolfwood. I like Wolfwood because he's and awsome gunfighter but a crappy priest, he acts all tough, but he's really nice to kids and starts up orphanages all over the place. I also love the portible confession helmet that he has.

I also like his style and the way he looks at thing's, "I try not to think." -Spike (Knockin On Heaven's Door), lol. He also kicks major ***, and has never been beatin in a fight... 'cept by that freaky Pierrot Le Fou guy I guess. He's the main reason why Cowboy Bebop is my favorite Anime.[/SIZE]

Its been 59 posts and no one said Grave Im dissapointed. Grave is hands down my favorite. His quiet nature, his strong sense of loyalty, his ability to kick serious ***. Grave is a deep, highlly symphathetic chacter, that is often overlooked.

The best character in my opinion is Vash the Stampede, I know most of you would have been thinking I was going to say Washu but no. Vash adds comic relief to a otherwise melancholic situation, his brother wants to kill him, the whole world is after him and to top it all, everyone around him ends hurt. He always tries to keep an outlook on his life.

He is the most coolest, caring, most hilarious, most sensitive and most calm individual anime character that I have ever seen. I mean, he's only 16 and he's already been through a lot that most people have ever been thorugh their whole life.

I would have to say Inuyasha and Bankotsu both because both of them are great seasoned, hugh sword slinging characters. They almost even match each others strength in one episode were only Bankotsu's left from the band of 7. The two face off inside of a mountain were naraku was reforming and...sorry, I was getting a little into it. :animesigh :D

I must concur with both Panda and Ezeikiel about Genjyo Sanzo, because he is one of the best anime characters I've seen. He has a bad temper, is wildly trigger happy, and is a complete jerk most of the time, but the reasons for that become apparent as you go along with the story. He's a very flawed character, by no means the strongest, but he is a very wordly figure who has his deeper, philosophical moments. What is there to hate about Sanzo?

Number two on that list is Nicholas D. Wolfwood. He's another pragmatic figure, completely unlike Vash in how he thinks, and will do what he has to do without second thoughts. He's a funny guy too, I got a lot of laughs out of him alongside of Vash. But, beyond this, he ultimately cares about those around him, and allowed Vash, Meryl and Millie to become his friends even though he knew what his mission was. He kept secrets, but they were absolutely necessary.

I just seem to have a thing about corrupt priests. :animeswea
