WW2
Sure some of my favorite bosses are some of the classics, like Sephiroth and M. Bison, but lately my veiws have changed a bit. Now my favorite boss battles have to be the Colossi from Shadow of the Colossus. Not only are most of them friggin' huge, but they require you to think. Each one has a particular weakness you need to find and exploit in order to get onto their massive bodies. My favorite boss from the game has to be the Sky Dragon you fight in the desert. It was certainly the most entertaining fight in the game. The Bull Dog fight was pretty neat too, only because it left you with little room for error. You had to constantly jump and climp from pillar to pillar, and pray to god you don't fall to the ground, cause that cheap bastard would just keep ramming you until you were dead. Well...thats all I've got for now.
Kirika
- Bowser from Super Mario 64. Classic. When I was little it was such an exciting fight. XD - Zed from Wild ARMs. I don't know, but I always enjoyed fighting him. It was probably because of his cool themesong that played in the background. - ID from Xenogears. Especially the part where
Bart faces off against him. "That was pretty interesting. But dropping a warship on me is cheating... take it back!" ~ID
:animesmil
Riku
I would say that there are a couple of good bosses in Kingdom Hearts, some of them hard and some of them not hard, but really challenging. Here are my picks: Cereberus- Oh my gosh... that three headed doggie made me so scared whenever he did that meteor flame thrower thingie. I was running all over the place. And trying to climb on it's back was a total pain in the a**; but I was determined to win because he stepped on poor Cloud. Poor thing.. he looked like such a wimp when he got stepped on, I was all like, "You are gonna die now, Cerberus because you stepped on Cloud!!! :flaming: :rotflmao: Sephiroth- That long silver haired evil boy was pretty hard to hit at while he kept teleporting around to different places and hitting me out of nowhere. The moves that I totally hated was that huge aura move where it came out of the ground: totally sucked. And Sin Harvest.. holy crap, whenever I heard him say that, I Superglided may way on over to him and smacked him with my Ultima weapon. If I didn't get him in time, then I quickly got out a Megilixir and drank that sucker down or else have to start all over, which would totally suck. :moron: Maleificent Dragon- Three words: Flipping burgers hard. And that's really hard. I hated it whenever I got on her back to hit her and she all shook me off. I'd say I wasn't very happy. And she'd always throw green flames at you and swing at you if you were in front of her. Whenever Donald or Beast die, I was like, "Great. I'm dead." Took me several more tries to beat her than any other boss in KH. She was very challenging, but, when I finally beat her, I was still shaking and sweating and my heart was pounding, but I was increduously happy when she died. :angry2: :cussing: Yami Riku Fights- Okay, I always liked fighting Riku because he wasn't as hard as Maleificent the dragon, but equally challenging enough. He was always quick as lightning and did some pretty awesome cool sword moves, thought it sucked if it had hit me. I really liked the second one more, though, because it was a little tougher than the first one. I liked the beginning movie before it, where Sora blocked Riku's swing with the Olympia Key and where Donald and Goofy couldn't help me fight. Yeah... I liked fighting possesed Riku all by myself without any funniness going on, if you know what I mean. :bash: And, last but not least.... Ansem Boos Fights- He wasn't hard, but I liked the fact that you had to beat all the forms of him before he totally died. I was so happy when that evil sucker died. :smirk: Well, those were some of the good bosses in KH and hope that people who played that feel the same way. I would have to say, though, that the Colisieum Tournaments were pretty good when you had to fight Cloud and Leon together..heh.. I always didn't know which one to clobber first because I like them both equally. I was like, "Hmm....who should I take down first?? Cute gunblade holder? Or one-winged cutie?? Desicions desicions...." :love2:
2010DigitalBoy
Let me think... Alright we've got all the bosses from OOT because they were the coolest boss battles ever. Queen Gohma - Yes, it is rediculously easy and yes, you can beat it in under sixty seconds. I still loved it when I first played the game cuz I liked knocking it off the ceiling and then slicing the freak out of it's eye. That's gotta hurt! King Dodongo - For the love of god man, you make him eat bombs! What a downright evil way to kill someone! All I can really say is  That Thing Inside Of Jabu Jabu - Can't remember the name but that thing was insane. Not only was it huge but it had those big a-- things chasing you. My favorite part, though, was his death. He gets all bulbous and gross and then explodes in a gooey shower of green blood. DISGUSTING. Phantom Gannon - I really liked the innovation in the idea of having him fly out of paintings and you have to guess which one is the reall him and them once he's knocked off the horse you get to play Magic Baseball! Vovaiga - I always thought of him as just one giant pain in the a-- because I thought you could only hurt him with the sword so I spent forever dodging attacks to get in one or two hits. I love his death as well and reaping the Heart Piece from his skull. Amorphous - talk about insanity when that thing grabs you and sucks the frikkin life out of you then throws you that, I thought, was crazy. He was sorta easy though. Bongo Bongo - Envoy from the dark abyss! This guy was always my favorite boss simply because he is a giant head and hands playing the bongos. The use of the eye thing along with your arrows I thought was cool and being an arrow lover I had fun with this. That cheap knock off in Wind Waker was slightly disappointing and even moreso in Minish Cap. Twinrova - This one was fairly easy, but I had a good time. She was pretty cool, too, when she turned into that uber-b----. I don't remember much of this... Gannondorf - I always loved part 1 because you get to play more Magic Baseball! Or tennis... or whatever. i also liked the collapsing platforms adding to the experience and that attack with the millions of beams shooting at you was shweet. Gannon - If you suck like I do and run out of items, this could be a problem, though I could never get sick of beating his tail with the megaton hammer. And what a finish! Link with that frikkin awesome face stab.
Kei
Due to the fact that I haven't really played all that many games over the course of my life, this may seem both a bit abbreviated and weird, but meh. :p Bowser - Super Mario World In the millions of times I've beaten SMW, I've always hated/loved going up against Bowser in the end. Why? Because of how you had to hit him. I always found it challenging to throw those wind-up Koopas at him just right, because he was always moving and if you didn't get it just right, you were screwed. And you also had to keep in mind that those things came back to life. --; Don't even get me started on the third stage of the fight, either. But for all that hatred, that made me like the fight even more in the end. At least it keeps you entertained, lol. Shadow Link - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Yes, like many of the Zelda fans out there, I loved the fight with Shadow Link in the Water Temple. It was just awesome to fight someone who had almost the exact same moves as you. Of course, if you had the Biggeron's Sword and Din's Fire, he was very quickly handled, but I always fought him with the Master Sword for a longer, more-enjoyable fight, even though it resulted in me being parried and hit more times than I can count, heh. Darth Plucky - Buster Busts Loose While I doubt that many people even remember this game, it still holds a small place in my heart due to the sheer insanity that was Darth Plucky. Just getting to him was enough to make you want to scream in fury, but then fighting him and trying to avoid that rapid-fire cannon... ><; Still, it was an interesting fight to go through, heh. Metallix - Sonic Heroes I've only been able to play this once (as I did it on a friend's completed version of the game,) but while it is a long, invovled (and annoying at times) fight, it was still somewhat fun. Phantom Ganondorf - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Back when I was first playing OoT for the first time, it was the first time that I had come acorss anything like it. It seemed so complicated (and I died at least twice because of it,) but once I got it down and made it to the part of the fight that resembled a game of medieval baseball more than anything, I decided that it was one of the best fights ever. It's just so fun, how can anyone deny it, lol. Needless to say, the reprise of it at the end made my day, lol. Like I said, short and weird, but that's me, heh.
PWNED
Well, I haven't exactly completed many games 100% because of loss of interest so I'll have to post about bosses which I found to be at the height of awesome. Yuber (Final Encounter)- Suikoden 3 All I can say is that Yuber is the most dominating character that you'll encounter in a Good RPG, period. It felt damn satisfying to defeat him even though he is a personal favourite villian of mine. His Eightfold Rune was not just deadly, it was damn-near fatal and when a guy as powerful as he is has a move which nearly kills a character then you know you will have troubles. Ok, so he only has 2500 HP but when only every 7th or 8th physical attack connects against this guy then he doesn't need HP. The Monsters rate of Awesome- 4.5 out of 5 (Originally 4 but he gained .5 becasue of his coolness factor) Darth Plucky- Buster Busts Loose I have to say that Lady Katana is right with Darth Plucky from Buster Busts Loose. Because, to tell you the truth, it was the first platformer that I beat 100% and in reality it was one of my personal favourite Platformer Bosses. The Monsters rate of Awesome- 3.9 out of 5 Tio Clone- Grandia II Another personal favourite of mine because I couldn't really stand Tio as a character so the chance to beat her down came and gave me about 5-10 minutes of happiness. More fairly standard RPG battle fare played with the Godlike Grandia engine. The Monsters rate of Awesome- 3 out of 5 ------- The Monster---
terjak
i liked the final battle in legend of zelda ocarina of time. but if you played the game the easy way and got as many hearts as you could then it was kinda boring. with no hearts if you get hit it really takes a chunk out of you, and ontop of all that try beating him with a broken giant sword. majoras mask was fun too but once again try with very little hearts and with a disadvantage. fight majora with only using the zora mask (you get hit once you dead) now thats a challenge. 2010DigitalBoy
Any Boss From The Bomberman 64 Games - I loved taking on each of the super cool elemental bombers in all the bomberman games, especially the crazy hard ones in Bomberman The Second Attack. Good times. The Rhino from Diddy Kong Racing - the alleged 'first boss' who you must race to the top of the mountain. This took me a million tries as a kid but I memorised every nook and cranny of the course and always loved finally kicking his sorry a--. The Dragonfrom Phantasy Star Online - You see when my bros and our friend first started playing this game for some reason all of our charachters got jammed at level 4. We had no idea why, all we knew is that the frikkin dragon was impossible at level 4. It was only later that we made new charachters, broke the level 4 barrier and all out toasted him. De Rol Le from Phantasy Star Online - Another great PSO boss. The thing had a great set of attacks from the all-encompasing bombs to the huge lasers to the french fry-like stems he'd hot you with while you attack. And in part of the battle things get all dark that was cool. I'll be back with the Sonic Adventure 2 bosses

2010DigitalBoy
And now the Sonic Adventure 2 Battle bosses, all of which were cool Tomcat and Bigfoot - The twin jet robots you fight as Shadow and Sonic. Sure, they are your typical platformer bosses, but I had fun with them. It s always fun experimenting with new ways to hit them and see if you can kill them in one blow. Shadow/Sonic Fight 1 - This battle I thought was cool because you are enclosed in a small arena and you have to use a combination of double jumps and rolls to trick the computer. Eggman/Tails 1 - No matter which storyline this was on it was pretty boring. It was pretty funny if you got close enough and attacked because you hit the opponent with a boxing glove O.o That Robot Rouge Fights - Okay I found this rediculously difficul because while it is essentially just Madcat reborn, you can only hurt it this time by climbing up the gate, flying over it and striking it from above, but while climbing the gate you are totally vulneraby to missiles! Argh! The Egg Crusher (Eggman) - This one was strange because the Eggwalker was crazy trying to maneuver and the only way to get rings is to drop into the sand which will kill you quickly. Overall, it was okay. The Egg Crusher (Sonic) - Now this was fun, smashing the three rune panals and then smashing into his head. I love how you could strategically use the depressions from where he slams his fist to dodge the spin attack. Easy but fun. King Boo - XD I love this battle. I like the way you damage him, hit him, shine light on him to turn him into a shadow, hunt him down and dig him up then slam him! A grueling but cool process. But my favorite part of this batle is the insane noises King Boo makes! BREBREAU! BREBREAU HEHIHEHIHEHA! Knuckles/Rouge - This battle was neeto because you climb the rafters and drop down on the opponent then if they're collectingg rings you can beat them up relentlessly. Also, Knuckles and Rouge's special attacks were sweet. I also love the cutscene afterwards ;) Tails/Eggman 2 - Once again not especially fun but this time they have the hyper canons! KABOOM! Sonic/Shadow 2 - Now this, I thought, was awesome. The two of you running on the infinite highway and encaptured in a battle of wits. It took true skill to win this battle. "I'll show you the true power of Chaos Control!" Biolizard - This battle was freikin awesome. Once again it isn't far from the average flatform fare. Dodge huge balls of dark lightning. run from his tail but I like how you grind up the rail on his neck to hit him. Then he starts firing the pink balls at you and you actually have to bounce off of them to reach his weak point! The Final Hazard - Ah, the big bad final boss. Super Sonic and Super Shadow have to fly in, dodging arrays of pink blibs and lasers and slam the weak point. Props for innovation and playing the best song known to man in the background.
Shane12_01
The hardest boss I acualy played was from DOA 3 the final boss on very hard. first off you have to dodge or magicaly block all his long range moves then you have to make sure when you hit him you dont knock him down so that when he gets up he doesn't knock you down and rape you from there. then, of course the weird camera angle to start with.
