Ninjaman
Well, after 10 years, Friends is coming to an end. For a lot people, this is an end of era. I've watched Friends for quite a while and seeing the end tonight is going to be a little sad for me. Is anyone going watch the finale tonight? Do you think there will be another comedy that can be just as good as this show or even better sometime soon? Or will it be a while before we see that? Any other comments? Will you see the spinoff Joey? I doubt I will, mainly because I doubt that it will last more than a season, or even a few episodes. But who knows, it could be funny. Xyandar
I am quite sad that the TV show that has been on for soo long is ending tonight:(. It is a very unique show that no other show can replace. No other show can even come close to this tv show because it had its own certain type of humor. I will definately be watching it tonight and will be incredibly sad when it ends:(
NorykoAngelcry
I watch the show, but not because it's the best thing out there. I record the whole Thursday night run. . I don't remember what other shows they had on it before, but lately, I was really interested in watching Apprentice. Also, I really enjoy ER. . sure, it's old and a lot of the main characters are gone, but it's still very good in my opinion. As for Friends, the show is a decent sitcom for me. I watch it, and usually get kicks out of it, but it's strangely only from one person, Matthew Perry. He is one of the funniest people on the show, even though his character is just as overdone as everyone else's. . I find myself thinking that I am going to miss the show, but at the same time, I have gotten a little tired of the writing in it. It just seems a little stale to me now. Don't get me wrong. . congrats for all that they have accomplished, and how long they have lasted, but I just don't think that I am really going to miss it THAT much. If anything, it's another show that I won't be able to watch anymore that I usually record. . lol. Oh well, I still have my Scrubs. . one of the better sitcoms out right now. ^_^ Sorry if this post wasn't the most upbeat for friends =P
DeathBug
I used to like Friends, but I haven't enjoyed it for a while now. I stopped watching three years ago, then started watching when last season was supposed to be the finale, then stayed for this season just to see how the damn thing ends. I am sick of Ross and Rachel. Monica has become neurotic. Chandler has become a looser. Pheobe should have ended up with Joey, and her husbands' a creep. The chick and the duck are gone, and Gunter hasnt' appeared in forever. Basically, at this point, I just want to see what happens to Joey. I will be watching Joey, naturally, but, in my opinion, the show should have ended when Chandler proposed to Monica. Ah, well. Like just about everything now adays, it was good before it was run into the ground.
amibasuki
heh, I'd watch Will and Grace over Friends anyday. Friends is an okay show, but they ran out of stuff to write about a good while back. I probably will watch the finale though, if I can get someone to record it for me. kenshinsbabe
I just got old enough to enjoy the show when this season started, but I had watched a little before. My mom loves the show so much. I'm going to miss it, because I'm gonna miss what I didn't get to see. I'm not sure if I'll watch Joey, but if my mom watches it, I probably will too. But once again, I will miss the show, but I'll be so there for the reruns. Actually, today, I was being sad all day because it was ending 2nite. REALLY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: oh. . . now I'm sad. . .
Queen Asuka
Well, I've been watching Friends for as long as I can remember, and I'm GLAD that they finally ended the series. Not that I don't want to see more Friends (like every network television station doesn't air reruns every single day anyway), but I'm just glad that the series finally gets the closure that it needs, and that Ross and Rachel finally got back together, and all of that good stuff. It was fun to watch the characters mature over the years, but you can't drag out a series forever. I think that ten years was really pushing it, but I was pretty happy with the finale. Of course it was cliche because we all knew what would happen, but it was still pretty good. The only thing that bothered me was that you could REALLY tell that Courtney Cox was pregnant. Oh, the irony.
