Ben
An evil figure has entered the Duel Monsters? world, taking command of all of the Dragons in the land. They follow him unquestioningly and are incapable of communicating with any other monsters except by his will. This new figure appears to be the Paladin of White Dragon, dressed as he is in the Raregold armor and riding the characteristic dragon. Underneath the armor, though, is dark clothing that conceals his flesh. In an attempt to put a name to the figure, the monsters dubbed him Kione, which means: ?Someone Who Comes from Nowhere.? Indeed, Kione, it seems, did appear out of nothing. There are no rumors as to his origin or his intent. Kione?s intent became clear very soon, however. Within a week of his entrance into the Duel Monster world, he had built himself a fortress. Or rather, it just appeared suddenly at the pinnacle of Gaia Mountain. The sheer face of the mountain prevented most monsters from reaching the castle, excepting the Dragons, who somehow melded into the very stone of the mountain, to emerge upon the command of Kione. The Dragons began attacking the various cities and communities built by the more civilized creatures. They in turn retaliated, launching sporadic offensives against Gaia Mountain. These attacks were crushed mercilessly by Kione?s trio of Blue-Eyes White Dragons and the overwhelming number of other Dragons under his command. The majority of the Water Monsters joined Kione of their own free will. Being the smallest and weakest of the Six major Attribute monster types, they decided that their only hope for survival in the conflict was to side with the invader. Soon, great waterfalls ran down the edge of Mount Gaia, and mist shrouded it from view. With Dragons and Water monsters both under his command, Kione wasted no time in subduing two of the other six Attributes. The realms of both Fire and Wind fell under Kione?s swift and powerful onslaught. The remaining three Attributes of Dark, Light, and Earth, have joined forces with the surviving forces of Fire and Wind, along with a few loyal Water monsters, to combat the darkness that has befallen their world. Forming a loose alliance, called the Alliance of the Last Cause, the collected power of the Monster World is about to be pitted against that of the outsider, Kione. The Leaders of the Attributes: Dark-Dark Paladin. The Dark Paladin is a quiet, calculating individual. He rarely speaks, except to give curt orders or quiet threats. His carefully measured manner makes him an adept warrior and strategist, able to react to any and all things. He excels in battle against Dragons, whose very presence infuse him with power. By giving up some of his own power, he is able to nullify Magic. Light-Guardian Angel Joan. Similarly subdued, Joan is the leader of the monsters of Light. As has often been the case with those associated with light, Joan is peaceful. She is often the arbitrator of any disagreements among the council. When she is forced to join in battle, however, she is as fierce a foe as any of the other Six. Though the destruction of another monster brings her sorrow, it rejuvenates her and her close companions, in spirit and in health. Wind-Harpie Ladies Sisters. With their minds linked and their facial expression identical, one can speak with the Ladies as if they were one creature. They never separate, except when making calculated strikes during battle. They are fierce warriors and they strive to take revenge for the destruction of their Realm. Earth-Sengenjin. Massive and bestial, Sengenjin is merely a figurehead of the Earth monsters. The real person in charge is Freed the Matchless General. In times of trouble, Sengenjin wields his authority as he does his golden mace, but leaves tranquil matters and matters of strategy up to Freed. Sengenjin isn?t very intelligent, but he has a good heart. Fire-Legendary Flame Lord. Prone to act rashly, the Legendary Flame Lord is the figure who most often starts any arguments or disputes in the Council. It was this rashness that seriously depleted his forces. He attacked Kione and his forces head-on and was nearly annihilated. The Legendary Flame Lord no longer has much authority, with the loss of the majority of his race. It was his reckless preemptive attack that gave the final three Realms time to react and prepare for Kione?s advance. Water-Octoberser. Octoberser is the leader of a small sect of Water monsters loyal to the Confederation of the Last Cause. Normally level-headed, Octoberser can get into a battle-frenzy in a moment?s time. His tentacles provide him with great agility, particularly in water. His abilities with his spear are swift and accurate to an inch. His smooth Caribbean accent sometimes hides his real intentions. So, there it is, I guess. I?ll unravel more as people sign up, and as the RPG begins. Four of the Six Attribute Leaders may be used as your own character, all excepting Sengenjin and Dark Paladin. Anyone who wishes to be Freed the Matchless should contact me via PM first. If you?re going to sign up as one of the Six Leaders, please provide a sign-up for your character anyways. You can take creative license with them, but please keep the basic part the same. I don?t expect to see Guardian Angel Joan raving at the prospect of a battle. :p I nearly forgot. A sign-up sheet might be helpful. Here?s the set-up. As usual, feel free to add fields. Name: The name of your character. Nickname/Callsign: I figured it would get pretty tiring going around and calling each other "Archfiend Soldier" or "Fear from the Dark." This is a name that you would go by in the story. If the card's name is already suitable, like Ryu Senshi, or is something that can be shorted. then it's okay. Example of shortening: Mefist the Infernal General ------> Mefist. Mataza the Zapper ------> Mataza Attribute & Subtype: What's your monster's Attribute? What is their Subtype? Appearance: Pictures are great, if you can get them. If not, feel free to provide a flowing description of every minute detail. Including both would be an astounding feat. Affiliation & Rank: If you're character is a Dragon, that automatically makes them under Kione's dominion. Water monsters, too, are part of his forces. Rank doesn't matter so much, I just want to get an idea of where they stand in the grand scheme of things. Are they a common footman, some sort of specialist, a Leader, or one of Kione's top men? Reports to: If you're high up in command, you'll be reporting right to Kione or the Council of Six. If you're not, you'll have to go through an intermediate, like the head of your own squad of monsters. I want to know, who is it that they'd go through? Weapon/s: If you're character is portrayed with a weapon, mention it here. Additionally, if you want to have an Equip card on your monster, that can be put here. (I'm talking about things like the Guardian weapons; things that have actual form. Not something like United we Stand.) Weapon Ability: Example: Fusion Sword Murasame Blade would actually fuse to the monster that uses it, and can not be destroyed. Buster Rancher wouldn't be a very mobile weapon, but I can see somebody being able to use it, provided it fits the restrictions of the card. Special Ability/Abilities: If your monster has an Effect on their card, see if you can make some sort of real world spin-off. If not, then don't worry about it. History: Tell me what they've been doing up to the point of the conflict with Kione. They could be a farmer, a bounty hunter, a soldier, etc. I think that wraps it up for now. Have at it. ^_^
Solidus Snake
I hope using this character is okay. If not, PM me and let me know. Name: Black Luster Soldier: Envoy of the End Callsign: Luster Soldier Attribute and Subtype: He is a Light Warrior Appearance: http://www.cardhaus.com/cgi-local/shop3.pl/SID=8596193315421582508/picture=92451/page=picture.htm Affiliation and Rank: He is working with Guardian Angel Joan and the rest of the opposing forces. Black Luster Soldier is one of Joan's right hand men, constantly helping her and pointing out stratagies. Reports to: He reports directly to the Council. While also leading a small, but formiddable, army of light monsters. Weapon(s): There is a shield and sword, each in one hand. Weapon(s) Ability: Shield can create the dimensional portals and sword can clone itself for the double strike. Special Ability: Can create small portals that can send one, and only one, monster through it to never return. Doing so weakens him temporarily and cannot attack until healed. Or Soldier has the ability to create a duplicate sword that he can attack with to destroy more enenmy forces. History: Whien he was a litle kid, the Soldier, wanted to be what his namesake was, a soldier. But, as that line of duty wasn't needed he settled on getting into the top echelons of the Military of his world. So, after graduating the equivalent of DM High School, he applied to Duel Monsters Military Academy. Here he learned how to be a decisive leader. But, after graduating, he still did not think he was done, so, Soldier took off to find a job with the locals. This helped in two ways, one was he learned a little humility and humbleness, and the second was he learned to to charge. Even when he earned his armor and sword, he still worked with the small country family of Duel Monsters, thereby helping him connect with the people he hoped to fight for one day. DeathBug
Name: The Strike Ninja Nickname/Callsign: 'Strike Ninja' is pretty short, byt he could also just be 'the Ninja'. Attribute & Subtype: Darkness/Warrior Appearance: Go here! Affiliation & Rank: As a stealth opperative, the Strike Ninja is not part of the normal chain of command; he works alone. Reports to: Because the Strike Ninja serves to gatherhighly confidential information, he reports directly to the Dark Paladin. Weapon/s: The Fuhma Shurikens, in addition to his twin daggers. Weapon Ability: The Shurikens are razor shjarp, and explode on contact. The Ninja can throw them with incredible accuracy. Special Ability/Abilities: The Strike Ninja can, in periods of great danger, physically teleport himself a distance of approximatly one mile. However, doing so taxes him very greatly, leaving him in a weakened state afterwards. It is not an ability that can be used lightly. History: It is unknown where the Ninja came from, but he quickly made himself known as the best covert operations agent in the land. His speed and agility are unchallened in the dark Realm, and what he lacks in brute strength, he makes up for in skill. Normally quiet, the Ninja has a cynical outlook and a dry sense of humore. He also follows an ancient honor code that he claims he recieved from his own mentor. this has lead some to believe that the strike Ninja is merely the latest in a long line of Ninja, whose legacy is passed from master to student. However, the Ninja refuses to answer any questions about himself, so nothing can be confirmed. What is known is that the Ninja is the Paladin's go-to guy for stealth missions and covert opperations. He can be used to infiltrate enemy operations, gather desireable information, or procure enemy artifacts. It has been rumored that he is even used for the rare assassination mission, but of course, he never reveals any details of his missions. That good?
Solo Tremaine
Wow, heh. This should be good. Let me know if anything here's too over the top.^_^ Name: Dark Flare Knight Nickname/Callsign: Flare Age: 24 Attribute & Subtype: Dark/Warrior Appearance: Dark Flare Knight
is amazingly cool ^___^
Affiliation & Rank: Affiliated with the Dark Realm, Flare is ranked as a Lieutenant. Reports to: The Dark Magician. He's not highly-ranked enough to see the Paladin. Weapon/s: Dark Flare Blade and Shield (as pictured). Can also wield the Sword of Deep-Seated and Axe of Despair, but doesn't usually carry them around. Weapon Ability: Sword of Deep-Seated increases the wielder's offensive power, and although it can be destroyed, after a short while it's able to regenerate itself back into the holder's hand. The Dark Flare Sheild and Sword (along with Flare's armour) are magical weapons that together prevent Flare from coming to harm from any physical attacks. Special Ability/Abilities: The Dark Flare Knight is impervious to pain from physical attacks, but is still damaged when hit hard enough. Hence, he can keep fighting even when severely injured. He can still die History: Flare was brought up under the teachings of the Dark Magician ancestry (which he himself belongs to) in order to become a Spellcaster. However, when he was 10 (only an Apprentice Magician), he was involved in a battle near the outskirts of the Dark kingdom. A malfunctioning Jinzo had created an army of machines to try and overthrow the Dark Paladin, and had launched an all-out attack. Flare, in a rather badly-planned act of bravery, tried to take out Jinzo himself. He was hit by a blast from a Spell Canceler- a machine with the ability to remove all magical powers from a being, and was almost killed. After the battle, Flare was in severe pain and spent weeks recovering in healing springs. Members of the Dark Magician family, due to their heritage, are able to magically regenerate their health at an accelerated rate in the right conditions. Being hit by the Spall Canceler had, in effect, removed him from this heritage in all but his name. Although unable to continue with his Spellcasting and hence lose his right to a proper initiation into the Dark Magician Sect, Flare had a permanent procecting spell cast over him so that he would never be able to feel pain. From the Dark kingdom's weapon forges he was given his magical armour and weaponary, which help keep him safe. Soon after he had recovered, he left the kingdom to be trained as a fighter by a Sword Hunter, and came back to command a large section of the Dark armies. He knows that he will never be able to rise high into the Dark ranks, but is still loyal to his ruler and distant relative the Dark Paladin. Currently, Flare is on patrol on the outskirts of the Dark kingdom, trying to protect those living in the towns and villages from harm. Ben
Solidus Snake: Thank you for fixing what we talked about. It's better now. Deathbug: That's great, thanks. ^_^ Solo: Fantastic job with the History, and I like how you tied in his special ability to it as well. :D Circeus: Good job. :) Lynx: Very well done. :toothy: If anyone else would like to sign up, I'd very much like them to steer clear of Dark Types. We've got 3 already, and one of my characters is going to be the Dark Paladin. Nobody has signed up for any of the four available Leaders yet, so those are still open. Freed, too, is open to be used. Also, nobody has sided with Kione as yet. Heh. Usually there are at least some people who wish to side with the enemy. :p Here's my sign-ups. Name: Dark Paladin Nickname/Callsign: Dain Attribute & Subtype: Dark Spellcaster Appearance: I'll get back to this. There's one in my first post, if you're really interested. Affiliation & Rank: Dark Paladin is the Leader of the Dark monsters. Reports to: The Council of Six Weapon/s: Sword of Dragon Destroyer (adjusted) Weapon Ability: Draws power from all Dragons surrounding the bearer and infuses them with it. Special Ability/Abilities: By expending some of his energy, the Dark Paladin can negate various spells and enchantments employed by Kione and renegade monsters. The recovery of this energy is accelerated in the presence of Dragons. History: Dain is an unusual monster in that he is the result of two monsters merging into one. Their histories are different, and therefore so is his. The Dark Magician half of Dain grew up as most Spellcasters did, learning to wield magic and studying its properties. The Dark Magician wanted more, though. He wanted to be a warrior. He wanted to fight. Learning the most destructive spells he could find, he appealed to Freed the Matchless General, who led the Warriors of the land. Freed laughed in his face. The Dark Magician tried to prove himself by challenging Freed to a spar, only to be defeated. Freed took him down without even drawing his sword. "You're not fit to be a Warrior." he said. "Go home and read your books, boy." The Dark Magician left, bruised and embarassed. On the way home from Freed's camp, he was attacked. ~~~~~~~~~~ The Buster Blader part of Dark Paladin grew up in Freed's camp. It was a mobile sea of tents and field foritications that moved whenever necessary. It was also a boisterous sort of place where fights often occurred. Buster Blader grew up among these rough and ready Warriors, learning all that he could from each of them. Eventually he overcame his primary teacher in a fight. Once, and only once, Buster Blader beat Garnecia Elephantis. Buster Blader was present the day that the Dark Magician challenged Freed. And he was also there as he tried in vain to defeat Freed using his magic. With each move he winced. Didn't the fool know that Freed was immune to magic? If he ever hoped to beat him, he'd have to learn to use that flimsy staff. Buster Blader followed the Dark Magician as he slunk home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The two met late one evening. The Dark Magician had set up camp for the night, invoking a Yellow Luster Shield around where he lay. The shield held his attackers away only for a moment before they were upon him. It was a Dark Ruler Ha Des, along with a pack of Twin-Headed Wolves and two Kryuel. The Dark Magician tried to fight them off, but he really stood no chance against them. Fiends thrived on darkness, and their numbers would quickly overwhelm him Then Buster Blader leapt out of the Darkness, shearing the Kryuel into pieces. His attack caught the other Fiends by surprise, which gave him time to dispense with several of them. "Kill the Warrior!" Ha Des commanded. Thw Twin-Headed Wolves obediently began snapping and scratching at Buster Blader, rending large dents in his armor. When they were almost gone, Ha Des stepped in. "Two-Pronged Attack!" he declared, sacrificing two of the remaining wolves to cause substantial damage to Buster Blader. The last wolf was strangled one-handedly as Buster Blader leaned on his sword. Ha Des grinned viciously and held up his hand, enveloping it in an aura of dark energy. "Dark Magic Attack!" Ha Des tumbled forward, having been struck from behind. The Dark Magician stood there, leaning painfully against a tree, bleeding from a dozen tooth-rent wounds. "Dark Piercing Light!" declared the Dark Magician, extending his hand. The Darkness of the forest around them vanished, and Ha Des was temporarily blinded by the overwhelming wave of brightness. Buster Blader seixed upon the moment and plunged his sword through Ha Des's chest. They both slumped to the ground. The two of them sat there, taking shallow, painful breaths. "Thank you." croaked the Dark Magician. Buster Blader said nothing in return. The Dark Magician staggered over to where Buster Blader lay. The monster that had just saved his life was dead, it seemed. "I can save him for you." came a quiet voice from beyond the darkness. "Who's there?" An Illusionist Faceless Mage slithered into the clearing. Its hands shifted unceasingly, and its faces stared blankly into space. "Would you have me save him?" it politely inquired. "Yes, I suppose." replied the naive Dark Magician. The offer of an Illusionist was not to be taken at face value. "So be it then." The Illusionist began to cast a spell, its hands waving in intricate patterns and causing the air to waver as if it were a hot day. The Dark Magician grew dizzy, and fell asleep. When he awoke, he and the Buster Blader were one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sign-ups are still open. Those of you who have already joined, feel free to make up a second character if you think you can handle another. If you can't or don't want to, that's fine too. If anyone has any questions or anything, feel free to contact me by PM or on AIM. My screen name is Legoboy1. Any ideas, especially, I am eager to hear. I'll get into the usage of Trap cards and Spell cards later. We may even be able to perform a few Ritual Summons. ~_^
Cysword6
Name: Berserk Dragon Nickname/Callsign: Berserker Attribute & Subtype: Dark/Dragon Appearance: A black dragon with wings and he looks kinda dead. Affiliation & Rank: Berserk Dragon is one of Kione's top dragons. Reports to: Kione Weapon/s: Berserk Blaster Weapon Ability: Weakens any Dark monster's attack by 1/8. Special Ability: Can absorb energy from his surroundings to increase his attack power. History: Berserker was tortured by Fire monsters when he was created in a lab until his soul began to dissolve. So he began to hunt Fire monsters and he would make them die slowly and painfully until they would go crazy from pain. One day, he was surrounded by Fire monsters wanting to get revenge. They nearly killed him, but he survived waiting in agony. Then, Kione appeared and knowing that Berserker had great potential for his army, he made some of his best henchmen heal him back to full-strength. Now, Berserker is ready to destroy anyone and anything to aid Kione in the war, especially Fire type monsters. I hope this is okay.
Onix
Name: Harpie's Brother Nickname/Callsign: Bro Attribute & Subtype: Wind, Winged Beast Appearance: See attachment Affiliation & Rank: As brother of the Harpie's Sisters, he is a High Ranking commander in the Wind army, being second only to the Sisters. Reports to: Council of Six, specifically HLS Weapon/s: The big arm-claw thing. Weapon Ability: It cannot be removed from his arm, and repairs itself when broken. Special Ability/Abilities: He is exceptionally fast, his preferred attack method being a sub-sonic diving attack that allows him to cut through and opponent like butter. History: Bro was the faithful brother of the HLS, serving them and protecting them as needed, until the attack by Kione. He worked as a body-guard/butler for the Sisters, having promised to make sure they were happy and healthy. He is, therefore, concerned with their safety above all else, and follows them blindly, without question. How's that? Hey, I'm the first Wind monster! And besides, Harpie's Brother just looks so damn cool. I just got rid of Kay'est. Sorry, but I thought Octoberser was the Bad Water Monster leader. And that effect is too strong. I'll just be Harpie's Brother, then. -ULX
Ben
Name: Sengenjin. Nickname/Callsign: I suppose if you wanted to be affectionate, you could call him Senji...:p Attribute & Subtype: Earth, Beast-Warrior Appearance: There's one in my first post, if you're really interested. Affiliation & Rank: Leader of the Earth monsters. Reports to: Nobody in their right mind really tells Sengenjin what to do. They may suggest it to him, but few dare and try to exert any authority over him. He does meet with the other five Leaders, though, and has Freed report what has been occurring. Weapon/s: Those various things strapped to his back. Weapon Ability: Extreme...crushing....power... Special Ability/Abilities: Is better suited to fight in open terrain, where his weapons are unimpeded. History: Nobody knows how Sengenjin came to be, except for himself and maybe Freed. He doesn't seem to have a childhood, although his nature seems to hint that he is currently living it. He has an awful temper, and when it is aroused he tends to break thing. Sengenjin has a basic grasp of strategy, and when things don't work out his way, he makes them go his way. His abundant strength and gigantic weaponry are usually more than enough to overcome any obstacles; like other monsters. When the time came to choose the Leader of the Earth monsters to be sent to the Council of Six, it all boiled down to Sengenjin and Freed. The two of them decided that the first one to reach the place the Council was meeting would be the Leader. At the outset of the race, Sengenjin simply clapped his hand down on Freed's shoulder and buried him up to his chin. "I see you there." he growled. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, there's the second of my characters. I'm still waiting for someone to sign up before I start, so I'll explain some things while we wait. Your characters will not be playing cards down. As you recall, they themselves are living forms that you chose to use from a card. Spell cards will be treated as spells or enchantments would in any other story. Some of the will not be, however. (I plan on the Deal with Dark Ruler to actually be a deal with Dark Ruler Ha Des in the story) Traps will be used differently also. I'd like to think of them sort of as enchantments laid down sometime before they are used. Trap Holes, for example, will be pit falls in the ground. They may not destroy a monster, but they will certainly cause them some damage. Something like Mirror Force probably won't be used. Most of the Spells and Traps will be used by the Spellcasters and Fiends. Here's a twist: Kione can use them as if they were cards. He holds out his hand and the image of a card appears, and then the effect is activated. Kione can also summon monster this way, although most of his creatures are already out and about. If you have any questions about what you can or cannot do with these, or if you'd just like to discuss an idea, let me know. ^_^

Ben
Okay, everybody. I finally got off my arse and decided to come and start this thing. >_>;; I'm going to let everybody who signed up participate, but if I do not like the way you are posting, I reserve the right to remove you from the RPG. If you can't handle that, then please do not participate. I'm looking for good grammar, well thought out posts, and ideas that make sense. All too often I've see a Yu-Gi-Oh RPG go to waste because somebody's character accidently stumbles upon the one thing that can defeat the enemy and save the entire world. I mean, come on. Be realistic. Let's see if we can make this one of Otakuboards' better Yu-Gi-Oh RPGs. Good luck to all, and let's try to have some fun. DeathBug
Name: Night Assailant Nickname/Callsign: The Assailant Attribute & Subtype: Dark/Fiend Appearance: Affiliation & Rank: The Assailant serves Kione as an assassain. Reports to: Because of the secret nature of his assignments, the Assailant reports directly to Kione himself. Weapon/s:The Soul of the Soul Eater Weapon Ability: The Sword of the Soul Eater is a powerful weapon created when the Assailant charges his normal sword with part of his own spirit, giving it demonic powers. It draws on the souls of those killed by the Assailant, allowing him to kill on an even greater scale. Special Ability/Abilities: The Assailant is a master of the art of misdirection, and can create a false apparition of himself to confuse his opponents. History: The Night Assailant was an apparition created in an arcane ritual held by the acient cult of the Gravekeepers, in an attempt to revive on of their own. Rather than have the spirit of their fallen comrade return to his body, they mistakenly corrupted it, allowing a demon spirit to take hold of the body. The resulting fusion of a Gravekeeper's corpse and a demonic spirit created the Night Assailant. Recognizing the inherant darkness within this new creature, the Gravekeepers bannished him from their hidden tombs. Left with nothing but an incredible desire to sharpen his assassination skills, the Assailant served many masters in the past several years, eventually finding his permanent home in the employee of Kione. The Assailant is an intelligent and skilled killer, who can easily blend into shadows and strike with deadly accuracy. He has a dark sense of humor, and, although he serves Kione now, doesn't share the conqueror's vision. And, on another note, the actual Sword of the Soul Eater card can't be equipped to the Night Assailant, because it can only be equipped to non-effect monsters. I just think it looks wicked cool. ^^;
Guest EagleMage
Monster: Skilled White Magician Name: (Good question... most will just call him Captain, but if anyone's got an idea, I'll be glad to hear it.) Attribute/Type: LIGHT/Spellcaster Appearance: Rank: Works for the Alliance as a Captain of LIGHT monsters. Reports To: Guardian Angel Joan Weapons: His staff is mainly used for magic. With it he conjures up certain LIGHT spells, such as Swords of Revealing Light, which he then uses to fight. Weapon Abilities: The Swords can stop enemies in their tracks, as well as damaging them. Special Ability: (Umm... something w/ Buster Blader. Should he become BB later? He probably will, so nobody choose him as a character, please!) Age: 19 History: The Skilled White Magicians. One of the most honored classes of LIGHT monsters. Trained by Fairies and other Spellcasters to weave intricate spells, these beings can become very powerful, given time. This particular Mage has trained since he was seven. He quickly learned how to control LIGHT magic and to focus it into solid objects. (e.g. swords, walls, shields) In addition to spellcasting, he also learned swordsmanship. After he graduated at 18, he enlisted in the army and rose to the rank of Captain. Soon after, the war against Kione started.
You Don't Care
Name: Jinzo Attribute & Subtype: Dark, Machine Appearance: I'll get a pic. Affiliation & Rank: Leader of the humanoid machines. Although he and his machines are not a part of the war, he occasionally strikes deals with both sides of it. Reports to: Rarely keeps contact with the Council. However, he does not directly associate with it or any other monster type for that matter. Weapon/s: Amplifier: A helm of the most advanced technology that only Jinzo can wear and use. It allows him to stop all tricks that the enemy might use without harming his own. Weapon Ability: Amplifier is an invulnerable helm that allows him to use whatever type of machine or any trap at his disposal without question. Special Ability/Abilities: Jinzo has the supreme power over technology of machines and no tricks or trap will go unnoticed by him. He and his direct forces elude every trap that they come across. History: The machines have been at constant war with eachother long before the war of Kione. Jinzo, with his humanoid machines and deadly devised traps, and Spell Cancellor, with its factory power and anti-magic beliefs, have gone at it for longer than anyone can recall. The machines under direct power of these two tyrants do not even bother with the world other than themselves and have stayed out of the Kione's war. These great machines might one day be called to aid or even end the war. But, given the time and suffering caused by their endless civil war, these two machines will probably never come to terms with eachother and the rest of the world. O.O.C.: Is this alright? This character and the machine civil war could play a good part in the world of Duel Monsters. Just an idea that I think would be pretty cool. If you want to discuss this, PM please. I can't wait to play this!
JT Darkfire
Name: Sand Gambler Nickname/Callsign: Coins Attribute & Subtype: Light/Spellcaster Appearance: Affiliation & Rank: Sand Gambler is a loose ally to the Alliance of the Last Cause who holds no rank and isn't a true member of the army,so you might say he's a loner on the battlefield. Reports to: Due to his lack of ties to the military, the only person that Coins listens to is Joan herself Weapon: Horn of the Unicorn Weapon Ability: He uses this sacred object to intensify the strength of his spells Special Ability/Abilities: Capable of conjuring intense sandstorms at will, he can destroy armies at a time. You don't want to be around him when he charges to use this ability. History: Coins was the world's most renouned professional gambler up until the beginning of the war. He was considered a disgrace among light monsters due to his less than pure ways. This made him an outcast not accepted into any group... that is, until the day he met Joan. She found his nefarious ways to be a good change of pace. Finally being accepted for who he is, the Sand Gambler vowed that he would fight alongside Joan no matter what happens. One might say that Coins is a friend for life.
Arcadia
Guys, this thread has been inactive for a while. Please check the dates of threads before you post in them. If they're a few months old, chances are they're dead. Always check with the creator of the RPG before bringing something back. Also keep in mind that it's a good idea to stick to the first couple of pages in the Inn for the most recent RPGs. - Arcadia
