Oh man im 16 and my longest relationship lasted for about ruffly 6 months. It was with this girl called debi. Man i loved that girl to bits but i got abit bored cause i felt personally it wernt going any where. So i talk to her bout it and she took it pretty hard but over time she was all right. I some times wish i hadnt of split cause know thinkin bout it we had a really good thing if we worked on it but what you gonna do. But its cool now cause she is one of my best friends. :D

My longest relationship also lasted a year, but it was back in 5th and 6th grade. Of course it wasn't love, simply young infatuation. It was hard on me when it ended because of the way it had.

Since then I have been in various relationships but nothing lasted remarkably long. For the past three or four years or so I havn't really gone out with many people atall because I've been focusing on school and such. I'm almost 18 now.

nine months, almost exactly. it was with this guy named Spencer, we were together for nine months, we were going to get married, then i found out that he was cheating on me with two men. yeah, i knew he was bi, but it kinda pissed me off that he'd not have the [i]cojones[/i] to tell me he wanted men as well as our relationship... the jerk. *sigh* and i still kind of miss him.[/FONT]

Well, I would have to say two years. I was in third grade(or second, can't remember. :/) and I still love this guy. His name is Adrien. He was about a year younger than me. We we're infatuated, I guess. He was sweet, and funny, and protective of me. Kinda on the short side though. XD We were going out, and then he jus vanished. He moved. And I haven't heard from him to this day.

But hey, I'm not much for having a long list of women or a short list of long-term women which I've been in relationship with. As long as one turns up at the end of the day, I'm happy :p.

Hey i was actually going to intoduce him t my paretnts. He asked me t sleep with him i told him no. He got all angry and left. The next day he told me he slept with another girl. That was a big mistake right there cheating on me. the second mistake was he cheated with the girl i hated worst and in school. Yet his biggest mistake wastelling me by a stair well. I oush him down it and clamly walked down the steps. When he reach the bottom i stepped down on a bad spot for guys (i'm sure you know what i mean.) Hehehe. He wasn't too hurt, just some cuts and bruiss and he can never have kids again. After he transfer to another school because he was so himmulated. But now i am going out with someone for about 9 months now and this man i love. (he also will never cheat on me, i told him the consquences if he does.)

[color=crimson][size=1]Well, I'm 19, and I'm currently involved in my longest relationship, which is at the two year, two month, and 4 days mark. I met this guy when I was a junior in high school and a few months later I asked him to go to my Junior prom with me. About a few weeks after that, we started dating and we've been together ever since.

We've had our ups and our downs, but I don't think I've ever been happier. The only thing is that my dad has been giving me a really hard time lately because he's not particularly fond of his parents which he describes as "weirdos." I don't care what he says, though. I think his parents are weirdos, too. :P[/color][/size]

[color=indigo]Heh, I think the longest relationship I have ever been in lasted around six months. It seems as though I go through dates like most people go through tissue paper. Don?t get me wrong, I am not a male slut that attempts to fool multitudes of women into sleeping with him. I just become disinterested very, very quickly.

Within the first few weeks of dating a girl I can (or at least I think I can, maybe my tragic flaw is that I can?t) usually tell whether or not I could enjoy them enough to begin a relationship with them. I have a rather?unique personality and even though I enjoy tedious tasks, boring lazy days, and mediocrity in general, I know that I would feel a bit odd around a ?normal? person for too long.

[color=darkviolet]I'm 22 female and crazy. But anyway relationships there are two kinds of out of familiy relationships. Platonic and romantic.

If you're talking about a purely platonic relationship like one between friends I'd have to say the one with my best friend, Becky. We met in our freshman year of high school and have been through all sorts of happy crap. We now even plan on forcing our children to hang out together for the sake of our sanity.

However, if you're talking about romantic relationships well my longest one has been 3.5 years and counting. I met Lincoln in August 2000, by October 2000 we were dating. In May 2001 we were engaged and in September 2002 we got married. Not bad considering that prior to getting married to him we probably spent about forty-two days together give or take.

I think there are people on this board who can top me though.[/color]

My longest friendship has (so far) lasted 17 years. And my longest romantic relationship lasted just over four years. It began in August of 1999 and ended at the very beginning of this year, unfortunately.

I'm definitely a relationship guy, so to speak. I'd much rather be in a longterm relationship, than moving from partner to partner all the time. The latter is just not comfortable for me at all.

But everyone's different, obviously. Each person has a different view of what they find acceptable.[/color]

Well they say the longest relationship you will have in life is with your siblings. Unlike friends, they will be apart of your life forever! My brother is also my friend. He is a bachelor and I invite him over for dinner all the time. If I don't he would just survive off of fast food! Anyway, moving on to my longest relationships besides the one with my sibling.

My longest friendship relationship has been with my friend Melissa. I have known her since the day I was born. Our mom's are friends and we were born a few hours apart. We have pictures of the two of us being held by a nurse. Our moms even shared the same hospital room. She was, and is, still a very close friend.

My longest romantic relationship is with my husband. We have been married for 8 years, going on 9 in November. We were engaged for a year and 1/2 prior to that, and dated on and off before that. I guess the total would be somewhere around 11-12 years. I met him when I was 16 and I am 28 now. I am so old compaired to many of you!

It’s was with this girl that I thought I loved, but looking at it now I don’t think it was really love after all. We wear going out for about 8 months. They were not wasted. She is still my best friend and I would not trade the time we had together for anything.

LOL, I never thought of that. Except for one thing: I'm 13 years old. The person I've known the longest(besides my mom and dad) is my BFFL, Erin. She was born a year and a couple days before me. And her mom was my moms friend, so I met her before my brother was born. Literally, I knew her since I was a couple days old. My brother was bron 2 1/2 years later than me. So my longest friendship is of 13 years(and counting).

Hearing some of your stuff lets me know I have a few tmore things in common with you people besides this site and anime. As for my longest friendship it would have to be with my older borther. He is actually my step brother who I met when I was only four years old. I've know him for 12 years and I hang out with him a lot more than I do with my real sisters. Anywasy I'm kind of sad now that he graduated from highschool 2 years ago this year becasue I don't see him or spend as much time with him as we used to. I would also like to thank you for replying and say this is thread I've got the most respnose out of. Keep replying to those of you out there. So, what is your longest realtionship and friendship is I guess what we are making the new question since I didn't clearly state it in opening this thread(that's my bad lol).
