Skye
Steffanie stared at herself for a minute, before shutting the door to her bathroom behind her. She shook her head. She peeled off her clothes, which were soaked with sweat. Steff had been out all night at a dance club with a friend, and hadn't gotten home till, like her mom said, half past one. She hopped in the shower. As she showered, her mind drifted. Unfortunately, it drifted to her dream from the previous night. **Dream** Steffanie's boots clicked methoically on the cold floors. The walls were dark, and there were no lights, except that of the moonlight coming in through the windows. She was wearing - oddly - what she always wore, except her tennis shoes were switched for boots. Everytime she passed a window, the light played across her face in eerie patterns. Steff paused at one of the windows, and looked out. She sawa large row of oak trees, all th eway down the building side. The moonlight was leaf dappled, and a slight breeze stirred the trees. Steff shuddered, and kept walking. On the other wall, there was nothing. Never a door, never a vent, never a painting or certificate. She saw a turn up ahead, and a door. Before she reached the door, she heard a click, and saw the light change. She turned, but saw nothing - nothing, except a whisp of smoke that quickly faded. Steffanie bit her lip to keep from scaring herself. She turned back to go to the door, but it was gone. She looked around frantically. Oh, no. I'm trapped. she thought. The teen ran forward to the spot where the door had been, and touched the blank wall. She turned, and ran down the next hallway. She spotted another door, and ran to it. It was locked solid. SHe started to panic. She shook the door, and heard something behind her. She turned, and this time saw eyes disappeared around the way she had come. She turned back to the door to find it gone. She beat on the wall with her fists. A cold, scaly hand touched her shoulder. She whirled, and screamed - or tried to. The scream caught in her throat, and died before every reaching her mouth. She backed into the wall, and slid down it. The monster stood over her, eyes gleaming with a luquid eerie glow. Once again she tried to scream for help as it reached down to grab her throat, and the amulet that lay around it.... **End** Steffanie shuddered, from the dream and from the water as it hit her back coming out of the shower head. She soaped up her hair, rinsed, and did it again. Half an hur later, she emerged from the shower, clean. She wrapped the towel around her body, and took another from under the sink to dry her hair with. She tossed the towels into the hamper, and dressed. This time she wore(again) the flare faded pants, with a harlem tube top, under a black zip upi jacket. Steff opened her bathroom door, and tossed her discarded clothing into the hamper as well. She left her hair down, the wet strands loose springs. Grabbing the hamper, she exited her room, and went to the laundry room. The feel of the hands from her dreams still played across her mind. --------- OOC: I am still sort of lost, but I guess I can play it out until I run into someone...
Annie
"Azrael..." -Ann uttered, nearly breathless. Her voice was barely above a whisper, but Azrael's sensitive ears caught every vocal chord twinge. He slowly turned to face her, his eyes empty and a cool smirk slide across his face- "What is it, Ann?" -Ann blinked, surprised that he had used her name, and nicely- "What..what blood?" -Azrael tilted his head- "His blood." "Who's?" -This was Alexandria's voice, forceful, yet calm- "...My blood doner.." -Alexandria's eyes widened in shock. Ann gazed confused. Azrael hung his head, his dark, silky hair fell over his pale face. He then looked to the sky, staring at the moon through the skylight- ''..Mordercy." "You're kidding me, right? Azrael. Azrael!" "No. I am not kidding you, Alexandria. Mordecry, a Grim Demon, his blood flows with mine." -Alexandria stepped back, her face twisted with disgust. Ann found her strength and stood- "But..how did you receive his blood? He does not visit Earth." "He did, to find me. Lucifer sent him to recover my body so that he could ressurrect me to join him once more. So, Mordecry did find me, only to be challenged with Dr. Allington. To avoid a disturbance, Mordecry decided to disguise himself as a human boy and follow Dr. Allington. His plan was to kill the good doctor and take me away, but that was thwarted, thanks to Mr. Bailey. He was the one who was able to gather Mordecry's blood. Mordecry retreated, obviously his cover was blown. Need I describe the rest of my ressurrection?" "How do you know this?" -Ann peeped in- "Silly girl, Mordecry's memories are in his blood, and his blood mixes with mine. Thus, giving me details on what has happened all these years." "Mr. Bailey..he escaped your wrath. You do know he's coming here tonight for you, Azrael." -Ann stepped forward, finally starting to relax. Azrael sat down and opened his leather book. He thumbed through the pages, humming a melancholic tune. He stopped and traced the page with his finger- "Ah, yes. Mr. Bailey, I have an appointment with him...tonight." "Azrael, love. Is Mordecry coming to you?" -Azrael looked up at Alexandria. Her lateness amused him- "Yes. I can feel him. I don't know how close or far he is, but no doubt he seeks me." "Do you think he's coming to kill you?" "Perhaps, perhaps not. Who knows. The Grim Demon race is quite unique, especially Mordecry. He takes no authority from no one, not even Lucifer..most of the time anyway. So it is impossible to know Mordecry's thoughts and moves. And that, my dear Alexandria, is why I'm so anxious to make aquaintance. Somehow, I'm greatly intrigued, our blood pumps with fire and intensity. It's almost..." "Passionate." -Alexandria spat, sitting next to Azrael. Ann stood silent, taking in all of the information. Azrael smiled wickedly and chuckled at Alexandria's firey response- "Yes..that's the word I am looking for. Passionate."

Ninjah
Kiros woke up an irrated look came across his face. "Lenfear...Don't you ever go into my dream again.." Kiros said under his breath. Kiros then headed for his bathroom. He unbuttoned his white office shirt. It slid off his arms. He then looked in the mirror. His body quite muscular but not to muscular. Scars covered it. "It's amazing of what kind of trouble I can get into with this human body of mine." He said smirking. He then bent down slightly and twisted the faucet bar. Water ran from the faucet. Kiros made a cup with his hands and placed it under the water gathering water then splashing it on his face. He then continued to wash his face. After he was done he dried his face then looked up into the mirror his left eye flashed a red then turned back to it's pale grey eyes. "Azrael...I'll find you..." Kiros then walked back to the living room shirtless he sat on the couch resting his arms on the top of the back support. He then ran his hand through his long silver hair then leaned his head back. He then closed his eyes and started talking outloud. "Lenfear! Stay out of my ******* dream! You angels aren't to smart are you?" Kiros was talking to Lenfear telepathically.
Revelation
Alexandria was not amused that Azrael would want to meet this demon who's blood mixed with his. She felt she no longer had a piece of Azrael anymore. The blood that once flowed through his once perfect body, with his glimmering wings, that blood intertwined with a blood filled with ferocity and fire. His blood was not the blood that had spilled to claim only a bit of Alexandria before she was shunned from all worlds. Closing her eyes, she could feel the little one's fear, yet something grew inside her. Something...incredible. Alexandria slowly turned to Azrael, opening her eyes, as her gaze fell upon Azrael's beautiful, chiseled face. "Passionate, you say?" Alexandria still had her shimmering, silvery eyes locked on Azrael. Every muscle he moved, every part of his face was gazed upon by the sorceress' eyes. "Look to me, love. Look to me." Azrael slowly turned to look into Alexandria's eyes. They now had sealed their gaze unto each other. "If you wish to make this..."acquaintance", then so be it. Your angelic blood intertwines with Mordecry's demonic blood and together they create a beautiful creature. A creature of determined power, a thirst for...fire. You are Azrael the Fallen Arc Angel of Death, the Arc Angel who determines whos soul shall enter the depths of Hell or to the gates of Heaven. You are Azrael, the angel who gave a part of himself to leave a mark upon the cages that have imprisoned me. You are my love."
Cyriel
Once again, Ann could only look on at the exchange. The two seemed utterly beside themselves, locked in a world of their own making by their beautiful, demonic gazes. A tinge of discomfort passed through Ann's body; their words seemed so...personal, so intimate. She felt she had no right to witness the caress of words that they exchanged. They had a seal that none could hope to trespass. ...Except...Mordecry, she thought, the name a strange, inhuman taste that flowed silently through her thoughts. But the echo of his name in her mind shot more pain up her body, a convulsion she could not ignore. Fire again, just as when she had met Alexandria's gaze, but this time greater. She thought she could smell her skin burning, blistering, but to the touch it was cool. The twin points centered on the delicate rift between her shoulder blades again, and blood fell to the floor as she bit her lip, refusing to cry out. For some reason...Ann felt that giving voice to her pain would be dangerous...especially in front of Alexandria and Azrael. Both looked up as the droplets of blood fell to the floor, tiny scarlet dots that stopped almost immediately. Ann didn't notice, but her head rose when she heard a different sound... Her voice was barely audible again, but she knew that both of the beings could hear her, "...footsteps..." Neither of them stirred, and Ann suddenly felt that she was entirely out of place, her breathing far too loud, her pulse a beat that one could pick out of silence. Perfect silence, interrupted only by her human breath, and nearing footsteps. Azrael's voice came, cold and clear as a winter night, "Leave." One word. Alexandria said nothing. His voice compelled her, and Ann felt it; she couldn't disobey him. Her feet picked themselves up off the ground, and she turned her back to them, walking away as the burning sensation roiled. She walked quickly, doors to either side ignored as she made her way down the hall. Footsteps stopped. She stopped. Looked up...and found herself looking directly at Mr. Bailey. But his eyes were not on her; instead, they looked past her, and she felt the flicker of fear start to glimmer inside of her. Ann knew; he was going to die. Just...accept...it. Arc Angel of Death. He will kill the man. But even so, even though she knew there was nothing she could do to protect him, her hand still hovered, trembling. Reaching out... But Ann froze. Behind her, Azrael stirred, lifting himself off the ground with infinite grace. His wings cut through the air, a perfectly silent melody that harmonized with death. And only death. She closed her eyes, not wanting to see, but forced herself to open them again; forcing herself to accept what she could not change. The pain grew brighter. Revelation
Standing as she watched Azrael glide through the soundless hall, Alexandria focused her gaze upon Ann. She could feel a fire burning within her, a fear. She could feel a pain urging to release itself, yet it was contained beneath the fear. Alexandria watched as Azrael flew towards Mr. Bailey. There was nothing that child could do, except watch as the Arc Angel of Death slayed this man. ["He means death. Azrael is the Arc Angel of Death. She tapped her foot against the pavement as she hummed something she had heard on the radio. Her hair fell into her face, and she brushed it behind one ear. It was still slightly damp, and in wavy springs. STeff's dark blue eyes searched the street for any other people, and when she saw none, she got up, and went back inside the house. She came out seconds later, her black tennis shoes on. She zipped up her jacket against early morning chills, and started walking down the street. She passed houses, and stopped, suddenly. She felt someone watching her.My sixth sense is at it again. It really isn't that special. I mean, everyone has that 'danger sense', right? Revelation
"That's comforting." Ann had replied to Alexandria's comment, who just seemed to be entranced by the two Arc Angels, standing and gazing upon each other, with no excuse to fight. Her mind seemed to capture something else as well. Another angel filled with the fallen wounds. An angel who came by the orders of Lucifer, whose breath lingered everywhere. "Yes it is, isn't it? Hmm. Ann, darling, sit by that wall. This may take a while. I shall be right back." Ann reluctantly walked over to the wall behind Alexandria and sat once more. She then looked to Alexandria as she took upon her demon form as she walked away. Wings of a skeletal bone began to rip away the skin of the shoulder blades' and emerge from where the shoulder blades once were. It began to take form and grow into great deep violet colors and spread against the corridor in which she was beginning to take form. Alexandria then smirked as her deep black hair began to turn into a shimmering lavenderish violet and her ears began to change a bit more pointed and slim. Her clothes began to rip away as her skeletal armor emerged from her arms and legs. The armor shredded the dress as she walked on towards where the feeling came from. The fallen angel gasped as she watched Alexandria walk towards her. Alexandria now had the complete form of her demonic self, which was the dark half of Alexandria. Smirking, she lifted her feet off of the ground and her wings began to fly gently against the airless hall. Alexandria was now near the fallen angel. "Hello...Lenfear."

Kiros then took the towel and threw it on the couch and picked up his white shirt, and put it on just before he headed out the door. He didn't bother to button up his shirt letting it reveal the scars. Kiros knocked on the door. "Uhm...Hello..?" Kiros then looked toward a window to see the girl. Kiros waved and she duck down again. Kiros slapped his head and sighed. Just then the door opened a pan came flying toward him. Kiros stepped to the side and caught the pan. The girl looked up with a horrified look on her face. "No need to commit to violence kid..." Kiros said smiling. "May I come in?" Kiros asked letting go of the pan. The girl shook her head. Kiros sighed and muttered 'Fine' under his breath. He then sat down on her steps. "Well may I talk to you atleast?" The girl sat on a different step then Kiros. "First...I'll introduce myself. My name is Kiros." he held out his hand. "My name is... Stephannie." She took his hand and shook it. "Ah....I see... How's life?" "It's good... Without my father." "Why's that?" Kwai
The Gates of Hell stood dark and chaotic. It was the Gate that stood on the rifts of Heaven, Hell, and the human world. The portal on the side of Hell was always in the same location, by the infernal river of souls, but the portal on the mortal world's side was ever-changing, never rooted in one specific location. Demonic Warlocks and Witches were able to pass through the rifts quite easily without going through the portal, but the matter was different for Mordecry. He never liked magic, and thus had no means to cross over to the mortal world without going through the Gate. He arrived at the Gate boredly, his human form contrasting horribly with the entire scenary. "Identify yourself..." A low, hoarse voice came from the dancing shadows the portal created. Mordecry ignored the voice and continued walking towards the Gate acting as if he heard absolutely nothing. "You were warned..." The shadow under Mordecry suddenly twisted into a tight vortex, then lashed out as an abyssal lance, impaling Mordecry's left arm. A dark figure slowly emerged a few steps away from Mordecry, a shadow of a thin demonic figure, almost skeletal in its image. The shadow cackled softly. "My orders are to eliminate anyone that passes by without identifying themselves... and you are one..." Mordecry's eyes adjusted slowly on the demon, and a small smile formed on his face. "A nefarim demon... the shadow tribe eh?" The shadow cackled again, then stretched his arms out towards Mordecry. "I am the champion of the nefarim tribe... and by orders from Lucifer, the Grand Duke of Hell, I shall take your life..." The shadow around Mordecry suddenly erupted, forming a cage around Mordecry. The shadow cackled madly in triumph, then melted into the black ground and reappeared before Mordecry. "Your carcass shall be cast down into the shadows... where I shall enjoy devouring you..." Mordecry laughed mockingly without any panic or fear. "Know your place nefarim." Mordecry closed his eyes softly, then reopened them. The red in his eyes were now positively burning, his entire pupil seemed to sway with flames. The shadow recoiled slightly and took a step back. "What... what are..." It never finished. Mordecry's impaled arm suddenly turned into a demonic one with vicious claws, then tore off the upper portion of the shadow in a flash. The shadow made a hoarse, gurgling sound, then the cage and the creature evaporated into thin air. The shadow of the portal dimmed slightly and a skeleton of a demon surfaced from the shadows. Mordecry looked down upon it with contempt, then stepped on the face of the corpse, being careful to grind his heels into it. "We consumed the Nefarim tribe four centuries ago vermin..." Mordecry spat spitefully on the ground, then walked into the portal without turning back.

He let out a small chuckle then bowed his head and stared at the floor. Kiros then felt a sharp pain in his stomach. His chuckle turned into a grunt of pain. He grabbed his stomach. That smile wipe it off your face and tell me what you've found!" Kiros pinned Lenfear to the house; his face awfully close to hers. He pushed his weight onto her arms making sure she didn't move. "Tell me!" Steff came down the steps and stared at Kiros. "Lenfear! Tell me...!" His eyes flashed red. "I've found him.... And Alexandria." Lenfear said still having that wicked smile on her face. Kiros's eyes widened and then he thought. "The only one Alexandria would be with is....-" Kiros got cut off. "Yes that's right Kiros.... Azrael." Lenfear laughed. "Where is he? Lenfear tell me!" Kiros shook the wicked lady. "Tell me now!" "Kiros....What are you doing...?" Steff asked, a horrified look crossed her face as she saw Kiros's eyes flash red once again but they stayed red. "Steff... Go back inside the house..." Kiros said his voice was rough and low.
Cyriel
Back again. It was almost ironic - she felt that she had spent the majority of the tiring day with her back against one wall or another. However, it was a small comfort, and she was minutely grateful at the moment. A few seconds later, and the wall was the only thing holding Ann upright. Her eyes on Alexandria's back, she gasped as the skeletal wings tore flesh as they erupted; her demonic form was revealed. The twin points of pain shot into Ann's back, making her arch backwards, her voice silenced in excrucciation. Like metal bolts forced into her skin, the burning sensation fanned out around her shoulder blades and neck, flickering outwards as it stretched down the length of her back. A few hot tears escaped unnoticed, fluid trails down her cheeks that she couldn't brush away; she was frozen in shock, fire crossing her body. Gasping, Ann leaned her head against the wall again, supporting herself by hanging on to the cool length of white plaster. Mr. Bailey - no - Uriel, turned to her then; luckily, her back was turned, and she didn't meet his gaze. Azrael still stood, silent before the other Arc Angel. Uriel broke the silence, gesturing with a glance towards the quietly panting form by the wall, "It's interesting, Azrael, whom you choose to associate with. The Arc Angel of Death, given the power to take life from unworthy souls, and yet, this illegitimate half-breed is still alive. She's required to die. Why haven't you killed her yet?" Ann froze at the intonation in his voice; slowly she turned, facing the two Angels that stood silently in the hall. Perfect stillness. Her eyes betrayed her, showing clearly the depth of her infinite fear, only human in nature. Pain once again flared in her palms, and Ann closed her hands tightly into fists. Alexandria broke the stillness, moving back towards her, and it was only then that Ann noticed that Lenfear had disappeared. "Alexandria-" she started, but stopped, her voice silenced. The demon had raised her hand, cautioning Ann to beware of breaking the absence of sound. Her eyes were on the two Arc Angels again, and Ann followed her gaze. And she realized, Uriel scared her. It was an entirely different feeling, and entirely unpleasant.
Anne
Lenfear didn't like this whole pin to the wall thing. She felt a presence tugging at her. It came from the girl that Kiros called Steff. She let out a laugh. "What are you laughing about now." She gave him a small smile and he shook her again. "You know this is no way to treat a lady." "You are no Lady. Steff.. go back in side, it is to dangrous for you." He turned back to Lenfear. "Yes Unawakened Angel go back in your building. This is wonderful two in one day." "What are you talking about I'm no Angel." The girl, Steff came a bt closer. "Don't come any closer to her." Kiros turned back on Lenfear. "Oh, I don't bite, not to hard anyway. Come here Angel, you should jion the great Master Lucifer." Kiros slamed her bacl hard. "Now tell me where they are. Tell me all you know, Lenfear." He leaned his head close again to her. Lenfear couldn't help herself, she just had to annoy him more. She knew she was in a tight spot, but she so did like to terroize people. No would have guesss that she had once worked for God and called himMaster. She gave him a small kiss as he leaned down at her. She gave a laugh as his anger flared up more. "What's wrong you look angry, KIros."
Ninjah
Kiros gritted his teeth. "I didn't ask for a kiss Lenfear!" Kiros let go of Lenfear and threw her to a ground. "Lenfear, you ***** tell me where Azrael is!" Kiros started to yell. "Steff go back inside! Now!" His voice was commanding. Steff got scared and took a few steps back. Lenfear stood and cleaned herself off of all the dirt. "Kiros, Kiros. Why do you think I'd tell you if you don't work under Master Lucifer." Kiros grabbed his stomach as he felt pain again. Not now...Not infront of this human! Lucifer! "What's wrong Kiros? Lucifer calling you again?" Lenfear laughed. Grunts and screams of pain came from Kiros. "Never thought I'd see a Demon scream and cry." Lenfear said laughing. "Shut up... Lenfear." Kiros grunted. "How rude... Kiros I thought of better manners from you." "Shut up! Steff get back inside the house...Everything you see...You don't need to." Kiros looked over his shoulder and glared at Steff with his left glowing red eye. "What don't I need to see...Kiros?" Steff stammered. "Just go inside the house!" Kiros turned back at Lenfear. A darkend object appeared in his hand it was in a shape of a sword with a fat blade. "You will tell me where Azrael is... Or I'll make you..."
Annie
"Azrael, why haven't you killed this filthy disgrace?! You know the rules!" "Apparently you do not!" -Azrael's eyes reflected the moonlight, glowing brightly in the darkness in which he lurked. Uriel stood back and clenched his fist- "You f***ing hypocrite! Allowing me to live, to be reborn, is sin greater than this Angel." "I had no choice!" "Do you think she had one? I think not. Now, do not concern yourself on a mere Angel. Tell me why you let my resurrection come to play?" -Ann sank to her knees and hands in agonizing pain. Her back arched upward and her shoulderblades began to bulge. Alexandria shot an all knowing look at Azrael. Ann would soon bear her wings. Azrael nodded- "Azrael, Arc Angel of Death. God's Flame. You..you must come back to the Heavens! God is planning on destroying all that glitters in Heaven!" "What?!" -Azrael's voice boomed, shattering the glass skylight and quaking the ground. Alexandria smiled- "Yes, the Heavens have been tainted in recent years. Angels by the hundreds are falling from ultimate grace. Angels that still pledge their alligance to God struggle to fight their brethren. Heaven is now becoming Hell above. God plans to destroy it all and start anew." "And this concerns me how? I think that's probably the smartest decision God's ever made." "Azrael, do you realize that if He does go through with this, we will be cast into non-existance as well?" "What?!" -Alexandria shot in. Uriel nodded solemnly- "Yes. In destroying the Heavens that exist today, it will destroy all Angels that ever reigned in its time. Including Azrael, heavenly blood still pumps through his heart and body." "...But, he has demonic blood too! Wouldn't that have any affect?" "No. The demon blood has no nevermind. The demon whose blood is in Azrael would still survive." "Why?" "Because, Angel and Demon blood do not mix completely. It is like oil and water. Certain circumstances allow demon blood to take affect, while the Angelic blood remained dormant. Vice-versa. So, if Heaven is destroyed, so is Azrael." -Azrael remained quiet. He looked at Ann, her back began to bruise and swell. Her flesh began to crack, streams of blood trickled down her sides and arms. He looked to Uriel- "Why me? You are Salvation. You save people and their souls. How come you cannot save your brethren of choir?" "I..I am not strong enough against God." -Azrael stared- "You've fallen, haven't you?" "Not entirely. I still serve my God. I just don't want to be thrown into oblivion. I want to stay and serve my purpose, my reason for being created. Is this so much to ask for, Azrael?" -Uriel's eyes teared. He knelt before Azrael, taking one of his hands- "Please, Azrael. You, you are the strongest of us all. And..He fears you, Azrael. You've become more powerful than He expected." "God? Fear? That's a hell of a bedtime story." "Azrael, please...my brother, help us." "Why should I? You all have been sent here to kill me." "But, you are.." "The strongest?! All you are here to do is use my power! You are the filthy disgrace of a f***ing Angel! That," Azrael points to Ann, "she is more heavenly than you! You disgust me, Uriel. You deserve to be cast into nothingness!" -Azrael wrenched his hand from the snivering Uriel and unsheathed his blade. Alexandria stood beside Ann. Ann stared in horror- "I will not help you! You coward." -Azrael raised his blade, it began to glow bright red. Uriel hung his head, tears falling to the floor. Azrael swiftly brought his sword slicing through the air- "AZRAEL!! STOP!! PLEASE, DON'T!!" -Ann burst into tears, her pure voice broke the tension. She collapsed to the floor, her back jolted. Tearing flesh, painful cries, Ann curled up into the fetal postion. White, pearly wings began to break from their entrapment. Ann coughed and screamed. Alexandria stepped back, surprised at what she was seeing. She had never witnessed an Angel claiming its wings- "Azrael..will she.." "She'll be just fine. It happens to all Angels who receive their wings." -Azrael informed, calmly and watched Ann carefully. Uriel watched as well- "..wh..at's..happening...to..me?" "You are dying." "What?" -Alexandria twirled around on Azrael- "Her mortal body is dying, wipping her slate clean. She will be in torment for a few more minutes, but she will be awakened to something more gloreous." -Uriel spoke softly- "Feh, glory of immortatlity to serve God? Yeah, okay. Let's become an Angel to serve a God who plans on destroying you. That sounds absolutely marvelous." -Alexandria spat and folded her arms- "I feel sorry for her. To undergo such misery and death, only to become non-existant." -Azrael sheathed his sword and walked over to Ann. Her body shook violently, her lips quivered and slowly lost their rosey color. Her skin was freezing to the touch and pale as fresh snow. Azrael knelt down and scooped her into his arms. He turned and gestured at Alexandria to follow. He stretched his wings and took to the air. Alexandria followed. Uriel took wing as well- "Azrael! What will you do?!" -Ignoring this, Azrael with Ann in his arms, and Alexandria flew into the thick blackness of the scorched night. Alexandria stopped infront of Azrael- "What are you going to do, Azrael?" "I hate to say this, but I am going to Heaven." "Why? I thought you didn't want to go back there." "I don't. But I will not allow this Angel to be destroyed for no purpose! God created Heaven and he can sure keep it under control. And the more I think about it, something doesn't sound right about this idea of his." "Do you plan to defeat God?" "...I don't know yet." -Azrael cradled Ann close to him. He looked down to see her twisted face and hugged her to his breast. Alexandria glared. She stopped for a brief second. Azrael stopped and cocked his head to the side- "Alex." "Do you cherish an Angel more than me?" "Of course not. Alex, this Angel has no one on her side. The Angels want to kill her. The Demons will slaughter her. And not even God cares. We, both of us, are all she has..please, don't be angry. She needs you." -Ann choke on her tears, gasping for a steady breath. Alexandria sighed and looked away from Azrael's crying eyes- "...Alright, love, alright." "Thank you." -Azrael gave Alexandria a small kiss and the two began to soar into the night. Azrael stopped abruptly, causing Alexandria to fly into him. She began to say something, but was quickly shushed by Azrael's deep and serious composure. He handed Ann over into Alexandria's arms and stared out into the horizon- "He's here.."
Kwai
The night sky was dark blue, as it always was, with the stars glittering high above in the heavens. The scene was perfectly normal for a brief moment. Then, an unearthly change took place. A sudden vertical line, crimson and bloody, formed in the middle of the sky then slowly tore open to the side, like an eye of a reptilian creature. The rift opened in full, and a chaotic swirl of red and black flared up, spewing out one human figure, then immediately darted back into the rift. The red eye closed, sealing the human world from Hell. Mordecry glanced around boredly, then his eyes slowly adjusted. "Mm... too little red... enough black but too little red... we'll fix that..." He focused his eyes on a small village, all of its residents probably slumbering, especially considering the hour. He looked down with a penetrating gaze, then slowly counted what he saw. "Six hundred, six seventy... seven hundred or so mortals... that will do..." He opened his mouth, then with a deep, thunderous rumble, breathed in a huge amount of air. His small body seized up for a moment, then released a high pitched shriek that ripped through the village streets below. The window panes were shattered into thousands of pieces, and all that was alive died almost instantly, their entire body racked by the ultra vibration that blitzed through the air. In a moment, the peaceful slumbering town was no longer, and was instead a mass grave, with each corpse lying peacefully on their beds, bleeding profusely from their mouths, ears, nostrils, and eyes. Mordecry sighed in content, and let his aura slowly take in the familiar feeling of blood. His eyes blazed for a moment, then slowly fixed on three lone figures far off in the horizon, too small for a naked human eye to see but visible to him clearly. A low growl erupted from his throat...
Revelation
Alexandria's harmonic voice was now replaced by a deep growling that vibrated againt her throat. Ann stirred in her arms and she looked down to her. This child, this innocent, pure child was given a curse instead of a gift. From the almighty Creator's hand, she will be swept away into inexistance and she will not even have seen the greatness of Heavens, as Alexandria had once. ["Child, your pain is my pain now. These exuberant wings of yours will take you to high places, they will fill you with a great joy that one can never experience. Child, breathe the life that God has presented you and lift your voice high so that all can hear the melody of your song."] With that Ann's coughing and stifling cries were quieted and she opened her eyes as she began to breath the air, the clean air that was locked away beneath the thick, opiate darkness. Alexandria sighed as Ann looked up to her. An odd feeling came around Alexandria, it was a feeling that had been long lost for quite a while. It was warm and comforting. "Alex...andria." "Darling, say nothing else. Your body must heal." Alexandria then looked to Azrael. "She is awake, Azrael. Do you want me to carry her to Heaven? Or do we wait?" Looking from his left to his right, Azrael and Alexandria could feel a presence around them, yet there was not much that they could do. They needed to bring the newly wakened Angel to the Heaven so that the Creator may keep this child and never let her fall, like her brethren.
Cyriel
Curled in Alexandria's arms, Ann heard the exchange through deaf ears, holding only to Alexandria. The air was fresh, new to her lungs; she almost started to cry again from the beauty of such clarity. The fire still burned, her shoulders aching, but it was gentler now, only smoldering in her blood. The two wings that had begun to sprout still hung half-formed, ready to grow and leap out if given the chance. But she stiffened as Alexandria spoke to Azrael, who was still looking to the distance. "...carry her to Heaven? Or do we wait?" Ann stiffened immediately, and her voice came out, small and childlike, "Don't." Alexandria looked down, "Don't what, darling?" She cradled her closer. "...Don't take me to Heaven. I'm not dead. I don't want to go." Alexandria frowned, and then turned to Azrael, wondering if he had heard. But he was still turned, held by the strange presence that had entered the realm. She almost spoke again, but somethng about his posture closed her lips, silencing her voice. Suddenly, Ann convulsed in her arms again. She looked down, holding the girl tightly, slightly surprised, but then gasped. The girl was pale, her appearance unchanged...but something was wrong. Alexandria sensed it instinctively; something was wrong. And then she realized...that she could feel Ann's pulse. "Azrael," she said quietly, not raising her voice. Her eyes were still locked on Ann, who was clutching Alexandria in a helpless, pained grip. If she had been human, her bones would be cracking under the pressure. Ann's gaze was wild, as she gasped, "Don't...don't - take me. Don't! Not - there - not - " "Ann, don't speak, just breathe," she said, eyes wide. She felt liquid on her arms, and looked to see a crimson stain. Blood. But...it was human blood. Ann's shoulders were covered in it, staining the pinions that had stopped forming. Her broken skin looked horrible, dead white, and Alexandria could hear a heartbeat. Her breathing was raspy again, and Ann started to cough as she choked on her words, " - you - don't - take... Not - there -I'm - not -" Alexandria's voice snapped, fear riding it, "Azrael!" The Arc Angel turned, mildly annoyed from the disturbance, but his eyes widened when he saw Ann. The pinions that had begun to emerge were now covered in blood, that was flowing from the broken flesh on her shoulder blades. The feathers looked dead, no longer snowy white, but instead wasted and atrophied. She's...suppressing herself. She's suppressing her Angel blood! She was caught in the in-between, bringing herself back to life, even as her wings were already half-born. Blood dotted her lip as she coughed again, "Not - there!" Her eyes looked away, locking onto some point in the distance. Suddenly Ann's voice tore out of her, her throat raw as she closed her eyes. But the figure was still there, still a dark silhouette wreathed in shadow and flame, burning into her mind. The pain showered her in needles, digging into her flesh and skin as she twisted in an effort to run away. But knowledge consumed her, the knowledge that each pain was a life, a light violently torn from the world. Tear me out! Tear me out too! Her mind screamed silently, and she struggled in Alexandria's arms. More blood fell, trailing out from her ears as she heard...him.
