CASE 1: The theft of the files.

7:45, Wendsday 15/04.(Might not the real date in real life.)

Early wendsay morning , The secretary Ms Ting came to the Dranden School Office, to get an early start on the work. She went to look in a drawer for the school funding file when for no apparent reason, they were gone.

When school commenced, a whole school assembly was called with this topic and a few others in mind.

Principal Jin- You are all dismissed, exept for Williams,Himagata, Beaglemayer, Ryoko and Tatsuzuna Kusnanagi, Lee and Daniels. Dismissed.
*General clatter of people standing up to leave while the members of the agency came to the front of the hall*.

Tatsuzuna- "What is it Jin-Kocho?"
Principal Jin- "Some major files are missing from the office"
Morgan-"oh, Something scandalus?*Begins to snigger*
Principal Jin- *Scowls in Morgans direction* No, it is just.... Important school files?
Ryoko-*Turns to face her twin* Why did he hesitate?"
Tatszuna-"Who cares?"
Kathleen- "So what do we need to do Jin-Kocho?"
Principal Jin-"I need you guys to track down the files and regain them, and when you do find them, do no read them...Understood?"

(Take it away everyone).

"I need to get to the scene and make prints. Have the cleaners been through?" Ryo asked.
"I don't believe so. Ms Ting contacted me and we locked the area, but the cleaners might have." Principal Jin said.
"Alright." Ryo nodded. "I gotta go, hopefully they haven't cleaned away prints." Ryo said running off. A few seconds later, she came back.
"Please, if you could, make a fingerprint of yourself, Ms Ting's and anyone else that would have been in the office around the desks." Ryo smiled before dashing off again.

Ryo swung her bag around to the front and opened the bottom of her bag. She pulled out a small, hard, silver, metal briefcase and tucked it under her arm(If you've seen CSI, it's like the one some of them carry). She carried her Forensic Equipment with her everywhere. She got to the office and quickly unlocked the case. She pulled out a pair of disposable gloves from the box full of them and put them on before trying the door. She twisted and she heard the rattle, meaning the door was locked. Ryo sighed, she had forgotten to get the keys off Principal Jin. Ryo searched her case and pulled out a small packet of thin tools. She selected two of them and inserted one into the top section of the keyhole at an angle and the other in the bottom sectional at a regular horizontal. Ryo pulled up with the top pick and jiggled the bottom before turning them to the side, successfully hearing a click. Ryo looked around, she didn't usually like to lockpick into rooms but she had to, she didn't want to waste time by running back and getting the key from Principal Jin.

Ryo entered the room and set her case gently on the table. She pulled out her small torch and twisted the top, making a shaft of light come from the lens. She walked to the table and shone the light on it, she noticed some faint fingerprints and grabbed her jar of moondust and her fingerprint brush. Ryo brushed over the prints carefully and examined the outlines on the table. She pulled out some contact/stick tape and some small sheets of paper with a bit of glossiness on one of the sides. She lifted the prints carefully and placed the contact on the sheets of paper. Ryo checked around for more evidence. Ryo carefully looked at the edges of the table, it was quite rough because the lining on the side had come off. She noticed some threads and plucked them out carefully with small tweasers and placed them into small envelopes. Ryo couldn't see anything else so she straightened and placed the things back into her case, putting the evidence at the top.

Ryo locked her case and lifted it by the handle. Time to get the fingerprint samples from Principal Jin and compare them. Ryo wondered what was so important that someone would want to steal them, and that Principal Jin didn't want anyone seeing. Ryo just shrugged, not really any of her business, just doing her job.

"Jin-Kocho, do you still have the sucriety cameras installed in you offices?" Charisma small vioce said. Jin-Kocho headed nodded. "I will need the tapes from yesterday, last night, and the one from today," she stopped and pulled at her braid. "to be safe lets go with Mondays as well."
"Sure, i'll have someone show you were we keep the tapes."
"You don't need to i already now where you keep them." She left in a slow walk out of the hall.

She walked down a long hallway until she came to a small door. This was the room where the school kept most of their equipment. She took off her glasses and took out a hankercheif and cleaned her glasses. She replaced the glasses back on her face and went into the room. The place was a huge disaster. Tapes were everywhere and in no appearent order. She wanted to cry. she looked at the recording machine and sighed. It was an old verson of securitey system. This system would only give general help to them.

She started picking through the tapes to find the right dates. Mumbling to herself "I'm going to have a talk to Jin-Kocho. It night right to treat equipment like this."

Finally an hour later she had located the tapes that she needed. A series of eight tapes were held in her hands. "This is going to take forever." she sighed. She started down to the computer lab that she normally worked at. The computerthere had all the programs she needed and a tape player.

She sat down at the computer computer to get to work. Hooking up some wires to the vcr to her computer she started it up. Sh eplaced in the first tape and it was very fuzzy. "Don't tell me that they rerecod over them." She grunted , "Now this is going to get even hard on me." (The quaity of tapes drop lower when used over again.) She took out her lunch bag and set it next to her. She grabbed a sandwich which had been cut itno triangles. Charisma set out to work.

OCC:Hope this is okay. o<((_^)>o

Kathleen nodded. Huh. Not look at the files? I have a feeling we're getting into something deeper than we want. BUt its our job. She tapped her chin in thought. Principal Jin looked at her. "What is it?" SHe looked up. "Jin-Kocho, I need to use the restricted computer lab." He looked slightly taken aback, but consented.

Kathleen held her school bag close to her side, and took the key from the principal. Going quietly, she went to the underground level of the school, and all was silent except for the tapping of her shoes on the lenolium floor. She reached the door she wanted, slipped he key in the lock, and turned it.

The door clicked, and swung open, and Kathleen flicked on the lights. She closed the door behind her, and went to system-D16. She set her bag down next to the chair, sat down, and booted up the computer. Her fingers clacked away on the keyboard as she gave the passwords.

Kathleen had the files memorized, and quickly scanned the list before cursing. This is going take some work. She thought. She took a sandwhich from her lunchbag, and bit into it abesntly as her other hand flew across the keyboard, scanning the computer.

Jhoon wasn't sure of what he was to do. While the others walked off to do their important, but less glamorous jobs, Jhoon was left standing and forced to go and be a mole in the school, listening out for whomever may have stolen the files, or those related to the incident. Jhoon left into the hallways of the crowded school and listned to the chatter of the students, most of which being complete garbage. Gossip and jokes, common and most of which Jhoon enjoyed. No one really suspected anything of Jhoon, a well liked student, so most chattered openly around him about whatever subject. But that wasn't enough. Jhoon had to think of who to listen to. What person, or group, would have something to gain by attaining whatever may be in those files. It sure would have helped if he knew what the files concerned. It could very possibly be permenant records and/or juvenile behaviour files. It was better than nothing, Jhoon thought to himself. And so he left off to catch up with the school's local misfits, who Jhoon would admit to hanging with once in a while.

The misfits, or atleast that group of misfits usually labeled "The Punks", were easy to render out. Dressed mostly in either ragged or strangely outfitted clothes. Having 'exotic' hairstyles in any color of the known spectrum, you could see them from a mile away. When Jhoon caught up with them, they were at Lunch, eating and laughing loudly about crude jokes. Jhoon walked up to a particular one they labeled their ring-leader, Gasuke Mokusai, who was dressed in a pair of ragged cargo-pants and a black 'Slipknot' shirt. But his most recognizing feature was his strangley spiked hair and multiple-peircings. He was carving something into the table with one of his spike bracelet spikes. Jhoon stepped up to him smiling, "Hey their, Gasuke! 'Sup, man? Whats new?" Jhoon asked in his usual, up-front and laid back way.

"Whats it matter to you, pop-boy?" Gasuke answered back with a sneer and an antagonistic tone. His nostrels flaired, causing his loose nose-ring to shake a litte. Jhoon raised an eyebrow to that.

"Alot, man. You know how I like to catch up once in a while. Come on, man, you know me!" Jhoon exclaimed loudly, nearly obnoxiously. His face freindly.

"Whatever man... alotta nothings goin' on." he scoffed and countinued to carve, into the table, finishing off the letter F-U-C- and he began to work on another letter. Jhoon smirked a bit.

"Whatcha think about that whole, school file, yo? Know anyone related to it? God knows I could use it. My record ain't so clean, myself." Jhoon said, putting up a facadé. He sat down at the table and suddenly, all of the conversation at the table stopped as they all stared at Jhoon.

"What makes you think I know anything about it?" Gasuke said direcetly to Jhoon, taking his eyes of his little table art, and redirecting his attention to Jhoon. Jhoon smiled in nervousness. The air slowly filled with a bit of tension.

Tatsuzuna sighed as she stood with Shima, Jhoon, and Morgan. She then looked to the three boys and put her hands into her pockets. They looked to her and sighed as well. Tatsuzuna thought for a moment before deciding what each of the remaining detectives should do. It was then that Jhoon noticed someone sneaking away.

"Kusa, there's someone over there."

Tatsuzuna turned to see a possible suspect. She nodded to Jhoon and he left. She then looked to Shima and Morgan and thought over what they should do. "Alright, Shima. Since we do not have any suspects at this moment, I'll let you relax a bit. But, stay on your toes. You never know when someone may be hinting something." Shima nodded and left. Tatsuzuna was left with Morgan. "Now...Morgan. I believe you should help my sister. She may need your help. At times, she overlooks things and doesn't think twice to look back..so...go on." Tatsuzuna watched as the last detective left. She then realized that there was nothing else to do. "It'll be a while before anyone hears, sees, or gets anything. In that time, I have nothing to do."

Placing her hands beside her, Tatsuzuna walked to the student center and walked to the vending machines and had lightly tapped one of the broken machines to recieve a free soda. She sighed once more before realizing what time it was. She had been waiting for at least 15 minutes. It was time to check on the others. First was Ryoko and Morgan.

Ryo sat at the lab table. It was a special lab for the group of Detectives in the Agency when they needed it. She had the fingerprints she had lifted from the office on one side, and the ink prints that Jin Kocho had made for her. He had labelled them too. There was Principal Jin, Ms Ting and some of the other office workers. She tucked a wisp of moussey brown hair behind her ear and knawed at her lip in thought. The problem with the prints were, that some of the ink prints were smudged or had too much ink and some of the lifted prints were faint.

The threads had been from clothing obviously. It seemed that they were from their uniform or from a piece of clothing that was of similar colour. She had put that aside for the time being and decided to concentrate on the prints.

Ryo heard a knock and her head shot up. She looked to the door and saw Morgan entering the room.

"Hey Morgan." Ryo said smiling.
"Hey, Kusa asked me to come here to help ya." Morgan said pulling over another swivel chair like Ryo's.
"Alright, you know what the crime is right?" Ryo asked turning to him.
"Yeah, the missing files from the school office. They told me that you ran off quickly to grab evidence." Morgan answered.
"Yeah, I was hoping the cleaners hadn't gone through yet to clean up the prints before I got to them. I got them as you can see and I got prints from people that would have been in the office. But theyr'e not of very good quality." Ryo said waving her hand over the pieces of paper that were in front of her.
"Hmm...Anything else you found?" Morgan asked, leaning over the prints to get a closer look.
"Yeah, I got some threads. They look like bits from our uniform or clothes of a similar colour." Ryo said pointing to the microscope.

Morgan stood and walked over. He put his eye to the eyepiece and twisted the knobs to get a better focus. He changed the lens to a higher focus and "hmmed".

"What? Did you see something?" Ryo asked.
"The thread looks a bit frayed. Where did you find it?"
"I found it stuck to the side of the table in the office. You know how the side of the table's rough and can catch threads on it." Ryo answered leaning on the table and rubbing the back of her neck.

Morgan walked back to the table and looked over the prints closely. He came up with the same conclusion as Ryo had. They weren't clear enough.

"I think we should go back." They said simultaeneously. They smirked at each other and nodded. Ryo picked up her case again and they headed off to office, hopefully to get more evidence.

Charisma straghted her arms and yawned. Taking off her glasses she rub her temples. She set her glasses on the desk next to her. she has already scanned through 12 hours of tape and had more to go. She glanced at the list she had made of the suspects that had just gone into the drawer. Very vague and general but she could work on it some work. She rolled her chair over to her luch box and looked in it. Only three more triangle left outof the twelve she packed. I guess i'm going to have to get some more snakies if i'm ever going to finish theis.

Taking her glasses back up and placing on her head, she began watch the film for monday night. She would fast foward until someone went in the draw and than she would stop the tape. Transfer it over to the inhancement program she had running. She would roll back and force on her chair, givingg he braid a tug every now and than.

Morgan crouched down next to Ms Tings desk and pulled out a small magnifying glass and stared hard at the spot where Ryo had found the thread and scratched hard at the small red mark on the wood and said to Ryo " Whoever the suspect was, They didn't get away clean". Ryo walked over and attempted to scrape the dry blood from the wood but to no avail. She said to Morgan "No such luck, It seems old though. Remember the theft took place this morning!".

Morgan focused on the blood and muttered to himself "****, The blood look likes it had been here for weeks". Morgan then said to Ryo one of the smarter things to do, "I'll go check on the prints... then stopped abruptably when he had a brainwave and changed the sentence to, " Shouldn't we check the air vent or the window sill"
Ryo cocked an eyebrow and shook her head because of the stupid idea and looked at the window sill anyway thinking that it could be a good place to look. Morgan followed her gaze and nodded explaining that it was the only likely place that they could enter besides the door.

OOC: Trying to bring this back up. Liven it up ppl!!

Ryo and Morgan were crouching near the windowsill when Ryo heard the door click close. Morgan hadn't heard it and continued to look for anything that they could use as evidence on the wooden sill. Ryo straightened and stretched her back before turning around to see the newcomer.

"Hey Suzie." Ryo greeted her twin sister.
"I knew I couldn't get in without you knowing." Tatsu smirked.
"Come on, you know nothing gets past me, Suzie."
"Yeah, yeah. So what's the report so far?" Tatsu asked, walking towards the sill, and Morgan.
"I lifted some prints earlier from the table and tried to match them with prints that Jin-Kocho made for me. No luck. The lifted were faint and the inks were smudged or blotchy." Ryo reported, tucking a wisp of moussey brown hair behind her ear.
"I see. Find anything here?" Tatsu asked, nodding towards the sill.
"Not yet, we just got here a while ago. Earlier we were in the lab. Then we came here and we checked the area near the file cabinet." Ryo said, bending over the strip of wood again.

Ryo looked at the glass of the window and spotted a smudge.

"I think our criminal hit their head on the way out." Ryo smirked, lifting the forehead print, not knowing if it would be of any help but she suspected that the criminal would have a bruise there.
"You got anything Morgan?" Ryo asked.
"Yeah, I think I might have a shoe print on the ledge. But I dunno, they could change shoes and all." Morgan argued with himself.
"Lift it, I'm gonna check outside, there's gotta be more prints somewhere. Suzie, you coming?" Ryo asked picking up her case.
"Yeah, see if you can find anything else Morgan." Tatsu answered, following her twin out of the room.

They reached outside and looked at the other side of the window. Ryo saw some indents in the grass, but they could have been by anyone or anything and wouldn't help, so she ignored it and looked for any clue.

"Don't just stand there Suzie, help me look. You are an all-rounder right?" Ryo said, cocking an eyebrow at her.

Tatsu rolled her eyes and started to look as well. From checking on the Forensic team, to helping find clues.
