[font=Arial][size=1]It?s said that the young are easy to convince. Are easily persuaded. Especially a teenager. A teenager is developing, their minds are going through changes, their bodies. They are changing into adults, which makes teens prime force behind gangs and crime. They?re convinced through multiple ways that a life of crime is the way to go in life, that it is the only option to make it in life, to be successful. Once convinced, its hard to convince these teens otherwise, to convince them that there are other options. Even if the teen is convinced, its usually too late by then. The teen will be too far into their life of crime to be able to stop. Its either continue their current path in life and live unafraid or take a new direction in life and always be wary. Always be wary that their old crime bud?s, comrades, whatever you would like to call them, will come after them, search them out and kill them for quitting.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=1]That?s what its like as a teen in the streets of New York. Life is rough and most teens resort to drugs, crime, prostitution and other illegal activities to either make money or just make it through the day. Few teens escape the reaches of drugs and crime. Few teens have the stamina and the wits to live a life of crime. Most teens start using drugs and join gangs and such because the affects of the drugs alter their thinking. Alter their thinking so that the teen truly believes that crime is the only option, the best choice.[/size][/font]

[font=Arial][size=1]You?re a teen, living in New York. Will you resist the temptations of drugs, sex, money and power? Will you resist the urges that pull you towards the illegal activities that seem to be the best choice to get through life? Only you can decide.[/size][/font]

Everywhere you go it seems that you see more and more gangs, drug dealers, prostitutes, all of whom were formerly your friends. They are all only teens, just like you. You must decide the path you want to take. The path towards the gangs, all the fighting, killing, drugs, and best of all money and power, or the path towards a practical, rewarding job such as a lawyer or doctor.[/color][/font][/size]

What your character does in the end, whether they join a gang or something similar or whether they can resist those urges and go off to college and get a practical job, is up to you. I don?t want to know what you decide, you shouldn?t make it clear what your character will do in the end when you first start posting, only start to make it clear what they will choose near the end when posting once the RPG is started. And don?t worry, this will be sorted into chapters, somewhat, and I will inform you when the end is near which will be the last three chapters or so.[/color][/font][/size]

Everyday near her apartment building where she lives alone with her father, she hears gun shots, shouts and police sirens. All the caused by the local gang, fighting over territory and supremacy. Amber fears for her life. She feels that if she refuses to join the gang that has been pestering her since she was a freshman, that they will eventually kill her.[/color][/size][/font]

Her mother was a crack addict and her father left them before Darcy was born. His whereabouts are unknown, leaving the struggling mother and daughter in their run-down appartment building in the district called, "The Projects". For years, Darcy begged her mother to tell her about him, but her mother always answered, "Your father is dead, so quit asking about him." This was always followed by her mother leaving, off to get another fix. Child support was never met, so they quickly became very poor. Every cent her mother made from her waitressing went straight to drugs. Darcy had to raise herself and strive to survive on the merciless streets of New York City.

At the age of 12, Darcy was attacked on her way home from school. The gang beat her and threatened her with death. However, the leader gave her a choice. He knew of her situation, he had lived across the hall for the past two years. He knew of their poverty, of her mothers thriving addiction, Darcy's fading health. He gave her the option to lead that life, or join the gang. Here, he promised, she would receive a better shelter, money, food, and a closer family. Darcy, gladly took up the offer.

The leader informed her of her position in the gang. And this position would not be turned down, or she would be thrown back into the depression of the city. Darcy would become the profeit of the gang's income. She was to become their whore. Prostitution. The leader did not lie to her. She did live better, she was never hungry, she had all the money she could ever hoped to have, and she had great protection. She now lives in "Up-Town" and has a grand appartment. The gang she belongs to offers maximum protection. Remember, she's the only female and brings in well over half of the gang's income.

Other Info: Marcus's parents were killed by a gang by called the Skulls when he was 12 that is why he went into another gang named the Bloody Blades the arch enemy of the Skulls,they gave him a place to sleep and feed him.
