DDG
Kayla glanced around her home town. Littleroot Town hadn?t changed a bit since she had left six months ago for the Pokemon League. Still full of young Trainers awaiting their Pokemon or Trainers who had come home to Train before leaving to conquer the Pokemon League. Kayla recalled her Dodrio before she began walking towards her home. She barely noticed the large gathering of people over near the Pokemon Lab. She was more concerned about going home and visiting her mother and father. As she neared her home, a Trainer approached her and requested to battle. ?Kayla! Battle me, will you? I want to practice against a High-Skilled Trainer before I head off to the Pokemon League!? he said and Kayla shook her head. ?Sorry, I really just want to go home. Maybe later, Ricky.? she replied and he walked away sullenly. Kayla smiled slightly as she walked the last few steps to her house. She took a deep breath before opening the door and walking in. She glanced around. ?Mom, Dad, I?m home.? she announced and closed door behind her as she slipped off her shoes. She called out her mom and dad again before quickly running upstairs to check for them. Upon finding that they were no where to be found in the house, she remembered the small gathering outside the Pokemon Lab. ?Ah, that?s where they probably are.? Kayla concluded and headed back downstairs. She slipped her shoes back on and walked outside, heading towards the Pokemon Lab. As she approached the crowd, she heard cheering and chanting of Trainer?s names. Kayla made her way towards the front of the crowd, politely excusing herself past the few people in the back but as she made her way towards the front, the crowd seemed to part for her. The cheering quieted slightly as Kayla walked through the crowd. A few people congratulated her for beating Steven and taking up the position as Pokemon League Champion, others tried to challenge her to a battle, while still others didn?t say anything at all, but looked on at her, envious. She smiled to the crowd as she passed them and smiled wider as she spotted her parents near the front of the crowd. They waved to her and yelled their congratulations. She yelled her thanks back, before finally making it to the front of the crowd and walking the last few steps through the laboratory?s double doors. She knew what was going on. The cheering crowd, the whole town being there. Today was the day that the new trainers were receiving their Pokemon and starting their Pokemon journeys. It was a comemorable event, very exciting and important. Kayla still remembered the day she got her first Pokemon. She had asked for it specially, and had even waited a few extra days for it to be captured for her. She was the very last of the other three Trainers to start out on her Pokemon journey. That had made no difference to her, she still became a great Trainer, obviously. Kayla walked towards the back of the lab and found Professor Birch talking to four new Trainers. She, not wanting to interrupt, sat down at a small table and watched as Professor Birch addressed the four. Kayla stopped listening after a moment and looked at what was on the table in front of her. There were four Pokedexes and five Pokeballs next to each Pokedex. Kayla had another reminisce about when she had received her first Pokemon, Pokedex and her first five Pokeballs. Yes, receiving your first Pokemon was something that you never forgot. She then glanced over towards Professor Birch who was now handing out the Pokemon to the Trainers. --- Ok, the only thing I have to say is have fun. ^_^
Muse
OOC: Hope you don't mind me starting my post a bit earlier then yours, time wise. ---- Shea lay curled up in the fetal position on his bed, snoring quietly. He knew today was the day to get his Pokemon, but that didn't mean he had to get up...yet. "Shea! Wake up you lazy klutz!" Shae, his twin, screamed up from the stairs. "You'll be late... as usual." She added, sighing. No answer. She stormed up stairs and into her brother's room. Knowing the perfect way to get him awake, she slowly parted his blonde hair away from his neck and unlatched his necklace that she had given him a few monthes ago. Shea, feeling somewhat naked without his treasured necklace, sat up quickly, eyes sleepy and unfocused. "Give it back." He muttered, as Shae slowly walked backwards, holding out the dragon necklace. He got up on his knees and blindly reached out for it- -and fell flat on his face on the floor. Shae, giggling, threw the necklace at her brother and ran downstairs and outside before he could throw something at her. "Women..." He sighed, sitting up in the crosslegged position, hooking his necklace back on. He then smiled and sat there, not knowing what exactly to do. His eyes drifted over to the clock. 8:30. Thirty minutes before...before. "Oh, crap!" He shouted incredulously, jumping up and looking at himself, hoping he had magically dressed. Nope, all he had on were his boxers. Racing through his room, he quickly tossed on all of his favorite clothes and slipped on his blue gloves with the tear drop symbol on them he had gotten yesterday as a gift for finally becoming a trainer. He litterally jumped all of the stairs, threw on his shoes and checked his watch. 8:45. He smirked to himself, "nice timing, Shea my man." Then he remembered he lived on the outskirts of town, and he still had to walk to the lab. He looked around quickly, the 'rents and the evil sister were probably already there. "They could've waited for me..." he sulked as he looked around one last time and then flew out the door, going as fast as his long legs could carry him. As he drew nearer, he could hear shouts and yells, crying out something. When he got closer, he realized that all the residents of Littleroot were screaming out his name, along with some others. His face turned red with embarrasment and enjoyment and he walked through the parted crowds, "Good luck, Shea!" "Go get'em, Shea!" "Nice timing, stupid!" He recognized the last one as his sister's. He turned and smirked at her, giving her his charming wink, and she did the same, giving him a small wave as he dissapeared into the lab. ---- OOC: I figured I'd wait for everyone to arrive before we got our Pokemon, if that's ok with you, DDG.
Ezekiel
Imi sat on the edge of her bed, watching the hands of her alarm clock. She hadn't been able to sleep the night before, how could she? Knowing that in the morning she would be receiving her very own Pokemon, starting her own adventure and ultimately...a whole new life. She watched eagerly as the hands ticked closer to their target, '3...2...1' she counted mentally, 'Almost there...' BRIIIIIIIIIING! Her alarm clock shrieked, she grinned and jumped from her bed like a shot, pulling on the clothes she had laid out the night before. A black tank top with matching baggy black jeans and the black cape that she had grown so fond of. That one had belonged to her father when he was a trainer, she considered it her good luck charm. She grabbed her bag and threw it over her shoulder as she ran down the stairs. She paused at the bottom and ran through all of the things she would be needing, making sure she hadn't forgotten anything. 'Nope, I've got everything I'll need' she thought as she smiled hopefully. She walked into the kitchen to say her farewells to her parents but they were not there. She was shocked, surely they hadn't forgotten the most important day of her life? She was about to run upstairs and check when a thought struck her. They would already be at the lab, waiting for her to arrive along with all the other families. She chuckled to herself, all this excitement was making her foolish. Imi stepped out onto the grass verge in front of their house. The morning was fresh, with dew still on the grass. She started to jog towards the lab, hoping that she would be the first trainer there...she broke into a run. Just as she neared the lab, she saw a blond boy run inside, she mentally cursed, 'Dammit, Shea, you beat me to it' She laughed as she saw her parents, whistling, waving and giving her the thumbs up. Others were there to, neighbours and relatives, cheering her on, it made her feel good. She blew a kiss to her parents and smiled as she entered the lab, taking her place next to Shea, she looked up at him and smiled. "You won't be beating me next time" she stated firmly, but with a hint of laughter in her voice. She looked at the Professor and grinned, she had never felt so good.
inti
"Maybe I should wait until 9 o'clock? What do you think Tropius?" The huge reddish leafy dinosaur Pokemon smiled, showing a row of sharp pointy teeth. Hard to think of it as herbivorous. "No? Ok, I'll wait until Imi gets in. If I'm the last one there, it doesn't matter." Bellossom danced around the greenhouse, spreading pollen around with its Sweet Scent. Maia's mother came up behind it with a Wailmer Pail, watering the plants Bellossom passed. Mr Keetro was seen planting a young Oran Berry tree outside with his Ivysaur and Meganium using Vine Whip and Razor Leaf in order to move large rocks or make room for the tree. Maia decided to go help him. "Mum? I'm going to go help daddy! Can I borrow Vileplume for a minute?" she asked sweetly in her best cutesy-wootsy voice, puposefully blushing and looking down at the ground, hands behind her back. "Of course you can dear. Here you go!" said her mother happily, throwing Maia a Premium Ball which contained her prized Vileplume. It had won 5 Pokemon contests, and Bellossom was learning from it quickly, already having won 2 itself. Maia's mother cherished the two Pokemon, almost as her own children. Maia ran outside, Pokeball in hand. Her bright red dress racing out behind her, blown back with the wind. Her equally red Santa hat almost got blown away. "Daddy! Let me help!" she called. "Ok honey!" he called back. Maia let out Vileplume on the run, turning to go to the small lake outside Littleroot's gardening central. "Vileplume, could you Absorb some water and bring it over to daddy and water the tree please?" she asked the huge flower Pokemon. It nodded happily, knocking Maia over with the huge red flower on its head. Imi ran past, obviously on her way to Professor Birch's lab. "Uh oh! Vileplume, could you go help daddy? I gotta go now! See you later!" Maia spoke quickly and ran back to the glasshouse. "Mum! I need my things! Imi's already going to the Lab! I'll be late!" cried the little 12-year-old. "Don't worry dearest, it's all here. I put in 5 Oran Berries, 3 Pecha and 1 Sitrus. Don't forget to plant a few, so they grow into trees and there'll be a larger supply of them. Oh, and here's a special one I just grew! It's very rare, so plant it in a pot and carry it with you! Plant it at the Pretty Flower shop outside Petalburg Woods and they'll care for it for you. Go back to get a berry from them when you need one." Maia's mother handed her a Hondew Berry. "Thanks mummy! I gotta go now though...I'll show you my Pokemon before I go though!" Maia ran over to Tropius, "Tropius, could you Fly me over to the Lab?" Maia sat astride the huge Flying leafy dinosaur Pokemon, almost floating through the air. She thought about how on earth a Tropius could fly, it had no wings. But when she thought about it, it only confused her. Being 12 was sometimes bothersome. "There it is! Take me down here and wait for me! I want to show mummy and daddy my Pokemon before I leave!" she giggled as Tropius looked down at her with a confused look on its face, "Bye bye!" She ran the rest of the way to the Lab, her bag hanging off her hip, her hat trailing behind. She laughed into the wind, feeling it in her face. People were cheering. Lots of people. Maia thought that maybe they'd seen Imi coming, the walking Pokedex was her idol after all. Or maybe they'd seen Shea running late, as usual, and decided that he'd made more of an effort this time. She saw the two run into the lab, and the cheers got louder. They called her name. "Look, it's the Keetro Kid!" "It's Maia from Gaia!" "I wonder if she's going to screw up?" The last one was Shea's sister, no doubt. "Hiya everyone!" Maia called and threw petals into the air around herself and into the crowd. They laughed, she giggled. Life was good. "Go get your Pokemon already!" called Shae. Maia nodded and walked towards the Lab. She could see right in. What had happened to the doors? "Look out, Birch changed the doors!" someone called. Maia walked into the glass and fell back. "Owwy!" she giggled and got up, opened the glass doors and entered the building. OOC: Here's the name quizzie answer for Maia. Ezekiel
"Hmmm...." Imi seemed to state rather than mumble as she looked at the Pokeballs and Pokedex. "This Pokedex looks incredible, Professor, I can't wait to try it out." she said excitedly. "Yeah, well, neither can the rest of us, so will you hurry up?" Shea said, sounding rather impatient. Imi cleared her throat, "Shea, I know you don't appreciate the essence of taking time and making right decisions...usually, but this morning I suppose you did show that little bit of interest in getting here as slowly as you could..." She huffed and turned around, looking at the Pokedex again. Shea grumbled and said his hellos to the two that had just joined them in the lab. Imi looked over her shoulder and nodded, "Good morning Maia, Chiimaru, how are you both on this fine day?" Shea rolled his eyes, "Quit it with the 'nice' act Imi, it doesn't suit you." He pushed her out the way and started to inspect the Pokeballs himself. She folded her arms and sighed, looking down at Maia she smiled. "You're gonna do great, I know you will." She said, giving her young friend the thumbs up. She glanced over at Chiimaru and said sarcastically, "Oh no, you seemed to have broken Shea's late record, he'll be devastated!" Chiimaru snickered and Maia giggled as Imi started making over-dramatic impressions of Shea falling down some stairs half asleep, she was cut off by a Pokeball to the head. "OUCH! Shea, what did you do that for?" She moaned, rubbing the back of her head. A little Mudkip came up to her and tilted it's head, "Kip kip?" It said, sounding confused. It turned around and made it's way towards Shea, sitting in front of him and smiling back up. "Oh well, it seems we've got our first ready trainer." Birch said, smiling at Shea and the Mudkip, handing over a Pokedex to the blond as he spoke. "Good luck you two, may your journey fair well."
Sakura
OOC: I got the answer to your name right inti! Yay! Ryo was snuggled under the warm blankets. She heard her alarm go off and jumped up. She looked around and noticed that her alarm clock was't ringing and it was 7 in the morning, she'd imagined it. Ryo yawned and remembered what day it was. Ryo jumped with joy and squealed. She got her first pokémon today. Ryo ran to her adjoined bathroom to take a shower. She bathed in the warm water and then got out and dryed herself with a warm towel. She walked back into her bedroom and changed into her regular clothes of a blue, durable, waterproof, hooded jacket unzipped with a white spaghetti strap top inside and navy blue cargo pants with pockets at the top(regular place for pockets) and near the knees and blue and white sneakers. She put on her pokébelt and made sure everything she needed was packed in her navy blue backpack. Ryo checked the time again and noticed it was about time to leave for the Lab. Ryo quickly brushed her moussey brown hair and hurried out of her room and downstairs. Her parents were there. She kissed her parents' cheeks. "Breakfast will be ready when you get back." her mother said. "Thanks, bye!" Ryo said heading for the door. "Good luck, honey." her parents called, walking to the door. They watched as Ryo ran down the path and waved before running off towards Professor Birch's Lab. She looked at her watch and put a bit more speed into her run. Ryo reached the lab and doubled over to catch her breath before going through the doors towards the back where Professor Birch was. There were 4 other trainers there, all picking up their Pokédexes and Pokéballs. "Hi. Good morning Professor, Imi, Chiimaru, Maia, Shea." Ryo said. "Morning." everyone replied. "Do we get our pokémon yet?" Ryo asked, noticing a Mudkip. "Yes. Of course." Professor Birch said. He handed the trainers their pokéballs and pokédexes before giving them their starter pokémon. Ryo connected her 5 spare pokéballs to her pokébelt and carressed the pokéball with her starter pokémon in it. Ryo enlarged it and opened it. There was a flash of white light and then Ryo gasped and squealed. "A Pichu!!! Yay! I love it. Thankyou Professor." Ryo said happily. "Haha...No problem. Have fun. Good luck on your journey." Professor Birch said. "Thankyou." Ryo smiled. "Come on Pichu, let's go show Mom and Dad." "Pi, Pi." Pichu squeaked. Ryo lifted the small electrical mouse pokémon and set him on her shoulder. Ryo waved to them before running home to show her parents. She'd been waiting for this day for a long time, now she finally had her first pokémon. Ryo got home and celebrated with her parents, eating a quick brunch. "We have to go now. I'll come visit when I can." Ryo promised. "Make sure you do. We'll miss you." her mother said. "Don't worry, Mom. Bye Dad, I'll come visit the plant when I get back too." Ryo smiled. "Alright, now go before it gets too emotional." her father said, pushing her gently towards the door. "Goodbye." Ryo said finally before running off to start her adventure. OOC: There wasn't anything wrong I hope. If I need to edit than let me know. "Well, keep in touch with me and if you are really going to ask them to help you, you better do it quick. They'll be out of town soon and it'll be harder for you to find them. Muse
Shea stood dumbstruck as the Mudkip that came out of the Pokeball he had thrown at Imi smiled up at him. He fell to his knees gently, his mouth open in shock. This was his Pokemon. His. With a little 'Kip!' it jumped onto his legs and grinned up at him mischeiviously. "I though this one would have the personality to match that of such an... interesting young man as yourself, Mr. Harris," Professor Birch smiled, handing Shea his Pokedex and five Pokeballs. "This one is quite a trouble maker, if you don't mind me saying so," he huffed, staring at the Mudkip with a wary eye, "but it has a fine potential and it will be most likely very friendly and loyal to a man like yourself. Take care of it well, Shea." Shea grinned at the friendly professor, stuttering out his thanks. Birch simply smiled at him and walked over to the other trainers. He waited patiently, stroking Mudkip lovingly, who in turn would smile at him and lick his fingers every once in a while. "C'mon, Shea." Came Maia's voice from the doorway, and Shea bolted up and ran outside, Mudkip at his heels. "I guess this is where we go, eh?" Shea inquired, nodding at the path out of town. "I guess... maybe we'll see eachother at the next town, then, huh?" Ryo asked, and everyone agreed, starting the path out at different places. Clipping the pokeballs he had recieved onto the small clips on his belt, another gift from the 'rents, and the Pokedex in his back pocket, Shea started to walk- -and got pretty far out on the road when he fell flat on his face. "This seems to be happening alot..." he muttered, lifting his head to see his sister on his side, her foot still out. "You think you can leave without saying goodbye to your favorite twin sister?" Shea made the best puppy dog face, "Yes." Shae smirked slyly, not falling for her brother's baby face made cuter. By now, Shea was on his knees now, and Shae fell to hers, giving her brother a hug. "Visit often, ok? This place wont be the same without you messing everything up every five minutes." Shea smiled, "Don't worry, I will." His sister pulled back, tears gathering in her eyes, "Don't make this so sappy, Shae, it's not like this'll be the last time you see the Awesome Shea Harris. His twin rolled her eyes, smirking, and told him she'd tell their parents he said goodbye, then ran off. Shea sat there for a second, looking out onto the road to see the others already much farther then him. He turned to Mudkip, who sai quietly on his left side, a blank look Shea's face, "Women. Always making you late for something. Now that darn Imi is going to beat me to town." He was about to say something else, but he was interrupted when he heard yelling. He jumped to his feet and saw Kayla, a girl he recognized from the Television and from town when they were a bit younger, yelling, and everyone walking back to her, looking a bit confused. Shea scrambled to his feet and ran over to her, Mudkip behind him.
inti
What am I gonna get? thought Maia. There were four Pokeballs with their Pokemon inside them, and she hoped that at least one was a Grass-type. Ryo came in at last. The four of them were there. "Hey, Professor, can we get our Pokemon now?" everyone turned to look at who'd said it. Ryo and Imi looked to Shea. "What? It wasn't me!" he pleaded. "Yes of course you can Maia." the Professor had ignored the others as they gave their shocked looks that Maia had made such a hurried statement. She never said anything like 'Can we do this now?' so she was obviously in some sort of a hurry. I don't like that trainer over in the corner. She looks like the one from the League, but that can't be... she thought to herself nervously. Professor Birch turned and picked up the Pokedex and Pokeballs closest. He handed them to Maia, then went to pick up one of the 'starter' Pokemon, as people called them. "Mr Birch, could you pretty please give me a Grass-type?" she asked in the same cutesy voice she used one her parents. She battered her eyelashes a little and the Professor smiled. "Of course little Maia. Here you go!" he picked up a Pokeball and released the Pokemon from inside. "Oh how cute!! It's a Treeko!" Maia almost cried with joy. She'd only ever seen one Treeko, and from then had always wanted one for herself. "Um...it looks a bit small though..." "Yes, well I was about to mention that. Just be sure to help it out where you can. It is a female Treeko, so maybe that's why it's smaller." he told her matter-of-factly. "But females are supposed to be bigger than males so they can protect their babies." The Professor fell on his face. "Eheheheh...just...nevermind Maia. This Treeko looks attached to you already! Go on and have fun now." Maia walked slowly down the path of Littleroot Town to where she'd left her father's Tropius, carrying the 1 foot tall Treeko in her arms. She couldn't believe her Treeko was 8 inches shorter than the average. "Treeko, you wanna go meet my mummy and daddy? And you can meet Tropius, Ivysaur, Meganium, Vileplume and Bellossom too! My family works with flowers and stuff, so you'll fit right in. We just planted an Oran Berry tree, sou you could help with that. Just for a little while though, 'cause we gotta leave before the end of today." Maia went on and on, unsure if any of her words were getting through to her cutest of Treekos. She just kept nodding with a large smile on her face (the Treeko). "Tropius! Tropius!" Maia called for her daddy's Grass-Flying type Pokemon. She was sure she'd left it here. Her little Treeko was running around her in circles like a puppy. Maia reached down to slow it a bit. She didn't want her first Pokemon fainting from exhaustion because it ran around her a lot. "Treeko, could you help?" she asked. It nodded up at Maia with a smile on its face again. Another Pokemon came onto the scene right then and there. A Poochyena. Then another, then another. "Uh-oh...Treeko, come here a minute for me will you?" Maia looked around and saw that Treeko wanted nothing but to fight for her new trainer. "Um, you wanna fight? Ok...I think." Maia was unsure of herself, and checked her Pokedex for Treeko's attacks. -->Pound -->Leer -->Absorb Was all that was listed. "Wait, aren't there supposed to be four attacks?" Maia questionned herself. "Oh well, I'll have Treeko use these three. Treeko! Use Absorb!" The little Treeko lept up into the air and onto one of the Poochyena's backs. It stuck its fingers into the Poochyena's fur and began to sap the energy out of the poor puppydog. The other Poochyenas attacked Treeko while it was in this position, and she began to take quite a beating. "Treeko, you have to get out of there now!" Maia called worriedly. Kayla had met the others and was moving up the path to where Maia's cries were heard. Being League Champ, she could tell a battle when she heard one. She broke into a run and the three young trainers behind her did the same. "Treeko, Leer, then follow up with a Pound!" Maia ordered her Treeko. She didn't like the battle much, because she was forced to tell her Pokemon friend what to do. Just then, Shea, Imi and Ryo appeared next to her. The League Champion, Kayla, was there too. Kayla sent out one of her own Pokemon, a Dodrio. "Dodrio, Uproar!" The Dodrio began to cry loudly, screech actually, and all three of its heads faced up into the sky. The Poochyena hadn't heard such loud sounds, ever, being the strongest of Littleroot's wild Pokemon. They bolted out of there. "Dodrio, return!" Maia looked up at Kayla, the fifteen-year-old Pokemon League Champion. "Treeko, come here," she told Treeko, and it jumped up on her head, crossing its arms. "Thanks Kayla. I'm Maia, pleased to meet you," Maia held out her hand, and her Treeko jumped over to Kayla and tugged on her leg. Kayla reached down and patted it on the head. Treeko went crosseyed and fell over (the pats being a little too hard after the battle) and fell over on its face. Maia was worried, but the others were laughing, and Treeko got up and smiled too. ---------- Ok, Maia's met everyone! Next! :P
Ezekiel
Considering Imi had been the one most excited about getting her first Pokemon, she had decided to wit for a bit. The nerves where becoming a bit much for her. Professor Birch looked at her and said, "So, Imi, you ready to claim your first Pokemon?" Imi jumped, she had been shocked by Birch's sudden question. "O....of course I am!" She stuttered. "Me thinks someone is a little nervous...." Shea muttered to Ryo. "I'm not! I just...." Imi snapped back...not knowing what excuse she could use to explain her nerves...and her shaking hand. The Professor smiled, "It's quite natural for you to be nervous or even scared, Imi. After all, when you leave this room it will be just you and your Pokemon." 'Thanks a lot, Prof. That's all I need.' Imi thought, looking at the Professor with a slight dislike. She sighed, "Okay, let's do it!" The Professor grinned, "Of course, I know just the Pokemon for you...." He muttered and picked out one of the Pokeballs, he threw it to Imi. "What is it?" She asked. "Well release it and you'll find out, dummy!" That was Shea. Imi pouted, "Go!" She said as she threw her Pokeball. A little Torchic appeared in front of her, it chirped and jumped at her. "AIE!!" Imi shouted as the Torchic landed on her, it's little claws digging into her arms. Shea laughed, ?A fiery Pokemon for a fiery girl, eh Professor?? The Professor nodded, ?That was my intention.? He laughed nervously watching Imi struggle with the Torchic as Maia and Ryo giggled, not wanting to hurt their friends feelings. Imi pulled the Torchic off and glared at it. It looked back with big watery eyes, it chirped sounding sad. Imi rolled her eyes, "It's okay...it didn't hurt. Much." The Professor gave her a Pokedex and Pokeballs, the custom equipment. Once she had buckled them to her belt, she called for her Torchic?s return and left, without so much as a goodbye to the others. Shea looked annoyed, "Well, that was a nice goodbye, good luck , have fun, wasn't it?" As Imi walked down the path, she saw the other trainers come out the lab, with Maia going away from the rest of them. She walked slower; she liked the kid and wouldn't want her getting hurt on her first day. After a few minutes of walking she heard a shout behind her. When she turned round she was shocked to see the face of the League champ, Kayla. She walked over to Kayla and nodded, Shea came running, as did Ryo. It was then they heard a shout. "That was Maia!" Imi shouted and started to run in the direction of the noise. The others followed, Kayla ran past Imi and threw her Pokeball. A huge Dodrio immerged throwing back its heads and glaring at the Poochyena. "Uproar!!" Kayla shouted, her Dodrio shrieked and the Poochyena scattered, leaving a little Treeko stumbling into her trainers arms. Maia smiled and said her thanks to Treeko. Imi sighed, "Well, I hope this isn't a starter for what the rest of our journey will be like...."
DDG
Ok, everyone's got their Pokemon, we're all in the same place (or, we almost are, posts wise that is). This is good, good, very good. --- Kayla smiled at the small group of people who were now gathered around her. "Well, as most of you probably know, I am Kayla, the Pokemon League Champion." she introduced and the four nodded and a few smiled. "And I've come back home to Littleroot to request the services of a few Trainers to help me with Hoenn's little dilemna." she explained. "Sounds interesting." "Yeah, I guess." "What kind of dilemna?" "Why us?" The four Trainers continued bombarding her with questions until she finally quieted them. "I've chosen you because, well, you're new Trainers and, after seeing you all with your Pokemon I believe that you all have much potential. Potential that would be very beneficial. Now, the dilemna that Hoenn is being faced with is that Team Aqua, you've all heard of Team Aqua, right?" she questioned and the group nodded, having heard about them when they were younger. "Well, three years ago, Professor Birch's two kids, Brandon and May, defeated Team Aqua and Team Magma. The two Team's disappeared for a few years, only to resurface a few months ago. Team Aqua is once again attempting to change Hoenn by increasing the amount of water and Team Magma attempting to stop them. I heard about it and decided to try and stop them. I knew I would need some help, though, and that's where you four come in." she explained and everyone thought for a moment. "This sounds like something I definitely need to help stop." "Yeah, that's agreeable." "Sure thing I'll help out." "Of course I want to!" Kayla smiled wider than she had been. "Then its decided. You all will help me in defeating Team Aqua for the very last time. Now, keep in mind, not everything we do will be about defeating Team Aqua, you four may also collect the badges of gyms that we visit in each town." she explained a little more before pointing off down the trail out of Littleroot Town. "Down that way, is Route 101, after that, Oldale Town. Of course, you should have known that by now, right?" A few of the Trainers gave her puzzling looks before nodding. "Well, before we head over there, it'd be nice if I could get your names." she asked and the four quickly introduced themselves. "I'm Shea." "Imi." "Ryo." "Maia." "Ok, now that that's out of the way, lets head out." Kayla said and lead the group towards Route 101.
inti
Maia ran ahead, her Treeko in her arms, not wanting to let go. She was crying a little, as she didn't know where the Tropius was, and she probably wouldn't see her parents for a long time. She hoped Tropius had flown home to her father. She slowed to a walk and looked back to the rest of the group. Shea was busy arguing with Imi, and Ryo kept giggling with each new argument raised. Kayla was slowly shaking her head, but also laughing with the group. Maia wiped her eyes and walked back to join the other four, sniffing a little, but then smiling as she approached. "Hiya, whatcha talkin' 'bout?" she asked her new idol. "Well, these two are arguing about who's Pokemon is better, and Ryo and I can't help but laugh at their pointless arguments. What about yourself?" Kayla said slowly. "Well, I ran off to find Tropius, my daddy's Pokemon, but when we ran into the Poochyenas, I lost track of it. Now I can't see my mummy and daddy because of that. I really wanted to show them Treeko..." she began to cry again, softly. "Don't worry, we can video-phone them from Oldale's Pokemon Center. No problems at all." Kayla reached out to pat Maia gently on the back. "Thanks." "Mudkip's better 'cause I said so!" snapped Shea. "You only say that because you're too slow to realise how much better Torchic is. No wonder you're always late. The Professor should have given you a Slowpoke, it suits you better." Imi retorted with a bit of a sting in her comment. "But what about Treeko? I bet I could beat you both!" Maia piped up now. "Nuh-uh!" Shea and Imi finally agreed on something. "Uh-huh!" Treeko hopped up on Maia's head as she said this, and Treeko crossed its arms and nodded in agreement.0 "Pichu could easily whup any of you." Ryo said, with a grin. "Look you four, don't make me join in this argument. Don't make me send out Zangoose." Kayla stepped in between the four kids, sticking out her hands as if to stop them. The group laughed and moved on. I wonder how well Treeko and I will do against Roxanne in Rustboro City...and it's so far away! They should make Petalburg the first Gym. Dumb registration people. Maia thought to herself as the five travellers sat having a short break under a tree. The bright, sunny day had turned into a wet, drizzling rainy one, and the group had to take what cover they could under the trees that were seen every now and then along the footpath. The weather sure did change quickly. I wonder what's up with that? she thought. Treeko sat up in the branches of the tree they were sitting under. It kept looking out into Route 101, as if something was annoying it. "Treeko! Come down here and eat something!" Maia called to it. It raced down the tree trunk at an amazing speed, and grinned happily as it sat down to eat. About 10 minutes later, the weather cleared up and the young trainers were on their way again. OOC: The whole raining thingo is just for a bit of fun. It's just an everyday trainer instructing his/her Pokemon to use the Rainy Day attack (or whatever it's called. Can't be bothered remembering at the moment). Don't expand on it unless you ask DDG (wouldn't want to mess up the RPG plan or whatever :P)
Muse
Shea stared gloomily out into the rain. Mudkip, on the other hand, was running happily throughout the drizzle, so Shea couldn't help grin at his restless Pokemon. Maia's Treecko had just ran down the tree trunk to eat, and he admired it's speed. "Are you hungry, Mudkip?" He called out to his Pokemon, who in turn ran over and jumped into his lap and started to eat his food. "Hey, wait, that's my food!" He cried, and Imi and the other girls started to laugh. "You are such a pig, Shea!" Imi told him jokingly, and recieved an icy stare from him in return. "Well," Shea started, trying to prove Imi wrong, "I'm not that hungry, go ahead and eat." "We'll see how long it takes for him to start eating the tree," Ryo joked. Shea just ignored her, looking thoughtfully back out into the rain. "It's not real rain..." He muttered to himself, noting the peculiar look. As suddenly as it had started, it stopped, and the group set off again. ---- Sorry for the extension on the Rain, but i've got no ideas so I need to wait for some, lol.

Ezekiel
Imi sighed as she walked, kicking dirt at the back of Shea's leg to cure her boredom. His Mudkip turned round to the noise of her scuffing shoes and get a face full of dirt. Imi cringed, "Woops...." she muttered as the Mudkip wailed and rolled over onto Shea's feet, knocking him over in the process...Imi shrugged...and walked over Shea. He swore as Imi stepped on him and grabbed hr legs, making her fall down too. Maia stared as the two started fighting again, arguing about who's fault it was and blah blah...Ryo stopped and watched while Kayla rolled her eyes. "This should be a sport." Ryo suggested, Maia laughed and nodded. "Who would you bet on?" She asked. "....The Mudkip..." Kayla stated flatly, as Mudkip jumped on top of Imi and started squirting her with water gun. She started struggling and attempted to shout but was drowned out by a mouthful of Mudkip water. Torchic started making a fuss and when he noticed Shea was laughing....well.....he gave him a taste of his ember attack. Imi laughed as Shea wiped the soot of his face. He glared, she glared back... "Truce." They both said at the same time and Kayla helped them up. "Thank goodness for that, you agreed on something." she grumbled as the two rival trainers sorted themselves out. Imi picked up her Torchic and caressed it's feathers, making sure they were in the right place. "Good Torchic." she cooed, "You know when to burn smelly little boys, don'tcha?" she smiled as Torchic nodded. Shea frowned and chose to ignore Imi's remarks. Maia laughed, as did Ryo and they set off towards the Pokemon centre yet again. inti
"You suck!" "No, you suck!" "But you suck more anyways, so there!" Imi and Shea continued another pointless argument inside the Pokemon Center in Oldale Town. It seemed there was no logical way of solving things between the two, so Kayla and Ryo sat and watched cheerfully, laughing and giggling at a comment made every now and then. Shea's Mudkip and Imi's Torchic seemed to pick up on what their trainers were doing, and began to argue with one another as well. Maia laughed at the two Pokemon and their trainers as she dialled the number for her parents. She desperately wanted to show them her Treeko, and tell them all about their journey so far. She missed home badly, and really wanted to go back and see her Mother's and Father's Pokemon too. "Mummy? Daddy? Are you there?" she asked the answering machine voice, "It's me, Maia. I'm at the Oldale Town Pokemon Center, and we're going to leave as soon as Kayla says, which will probably be pretty soon. I'll call you guys from the Pokemon Center in Petalburg, ok? Oh, and guess what? I got a Treeko! Ok, so I'll call you later. Bye-bye!" "So they weren't home?" Kayla asked comfortingly, a little while after the call. Maia shook her head. "I got the answering machine..." she turned away with her Treeko, "I'm gonna go outside, ok? I wanna see if there're any Florists here." Maia got up and walked to the front doors of the Pokemon Center. "Is she going to be ok?" Kayla asked Ryo, as Imi and Shea had begun a new argument about who's Pokemon would win a Pokemon Contest. "Yeah, she just needs to be around flowers a lot, or else she wilts like a dying rose." Ryo giggled as she said the last few words, realising she'd made some kind of a lame flower joke. Kayla laughed a little too, but looked out the window and saw Maia walking off. OOC: Yo! Can we try this out for a little longer guys? Muse
OOC: Sorry, guys, I have been really busy lately, what with school and my other RPGs. Shea sat miserably down onto one of the many chairs in the Pokemon Center. This trip, so far, sucked majorly. Imi wouldn't leave him alone, and everyone else thought of of him as a joke. "So you admit that Torchic could beat your Mudkip in a Pokemon contest?" "Just let it go!" He cried out angrily, causing everyone in the room to glance at him, "So far, Imi, you have made this trip unbearable! This was supposed to be the trip that made me some great Pokemon trainer like I always wanted! But with you, every second it seems you start another fight with me, which means I have no time to even look for Pokemon!" That sudden burst caused all the people to plain out turn and stare at him. Imi looked dumbstruck, and Shea stood up and stormed outside with Mudkip. OOC: Looks like Shea is having a little teenage angst problem ::innocent look::. Sorry for the shortness, too. Very early and very tired where I am.
Ezekiel
Imi looked guilty, she never meant to hurt Shea's feelings she just...um...well, she didn't know what the whole point of annoying was, actually. She picked up her Torchic who gave her a look of disappointment, she glared back, "Don't make me feel worse than I already do!" she said, causing people to stare at her awkwardly. She huffed and walked out. "Where are you going?" Kayla shouted, sounding desperate, "we need to stay together!" Imi turned around and shouted back, "I need to find Shea!" Ryo looked at Kayla, "Do you think that's such a good idea?" Kayla shook her head, "Who knows how he'll react, let's just hope she chooses her words wisely." Imi ran out and saw Shea jogging away, "Shea!" she called and her Torchic chirped, Shea ignored her and quickened his pace. Imi started to sprint towards him and when she was close enough she threw herself at him and pinned him down. "It's rude to ignore a lady!" she said sarcastically, trying to stop him from struggling. "So, what? This is another fight you want to start?" he said angrily, glaring at her with distaste. She shook her head and looked down, "Just hear me out..." she said biting her lip. He folded his arms and waited, she was still looking down when she started, "Shea, the reason I always pick on you is because...well....I'm jealous." she sighed. Shea looked shocked, Imi had never said anything like that to anyone before. "Why?" he asked. Imi looked up, her eyes started to water, " well....you have so many people who care about you and want you to do well....and...you're funny and have loads of friends!" He shook his head, "No-one ever takes me seriously, they think I?m a joke." "Well I don't!" Imi shouted back as she started to blush, "I want to be your friend, I really look up to you...I wish I could be like you..." she admitted. Shea was totally shocked now...why would someone like Imi think that? "But...you always treat me like dirt?" he said, a little softer now as he seemed to have calmed down. Imi shrugged, "I think I've humiliated myself enough now...I just want you to know that I'm sorry that I've made this trip miserable for you...." she started to walk off, her Torchic in tow. OOC: I think Inti is right, this RP does have potential!
inti
Maia Keetro raced around the small town, Treeko on head, dress flowing out behind her. "Treeko, where do you think the Florist'll be in this place? Do you think there even is one? Maybe we should go back to the Pokemon Center." she lifted Treeko off her head and placed the lizard Pokemon on the ground. It looked up at her and grinned, then turned and ran off. "Hey, wait! Don't run away!" Maia chased her Treeko all around the streets of Oldale Town, but it was too fast and thought a game of chasey was a good idea. "Treeko! Come back!" she called, but then tripped on a small rock and went tumbling down a side-street. "...they think I'm a joke." Maia could overhear a conversation going on between Shea and Imi from where she had crashed. "Well I don't!" Imi shouted. She sounded kind of embarrassed as she said what she said next, "I want to be your friend, I really look up to you...I wish I could be like you..." There was a moment's silence, then Shea asked something, but Maia missed it. Imi looked up to Shea? Shea, of all people?! Well, I suppose he's ok... Maia thought to herself. "I think I've humiliated myself enough now...I just want you to know that I'm sorry that I've made this trip miserable for you...." Imi stated, and Maia could hear footsteps that began to fade away. Maybe Imi or Shea had gone? Maia got up, dusted herself off and walked out of the sidestreet to where Shea and Imi had had their private conversation. ...better not tell them I heard them... "Hiya Shea!" Maia said happily, then looked at him. He looked worried or sad, or even depressed. She couldn't tell which. Maybe he was just shocked? "What's wrong?" "Nothing. I came out here to find you, because Kayla said that we should stay together. She didn't want the youngest of us getting lost or anything. I tripped over, and some gang of kids came over and wanted to battle me. I'm ok though." he said hurriedly. He brushed dust off his shoulders, then got up, "I'm going back to the Pokemon Center. You coming or not?" "I have to find Treeko." she said, and crossed her arms. A green flash went by, then Treeko came out of nowhere and landed on Maia's head. "Well, now that that's sorted, we can go to the rest of the group." Shea said, taking the lead. Maia followed behind, glad that Imi and Shea had sorted something out. Their arguments had been funny, pointless ones, but they had tended to get on everyone's nerves.
DDG
Shea, Imi and Maia all entered the Pokemon Center and made their way over to Ryo and Kayla who were sitting on a couch, talking. Kayla spotted the three as they walked over and stood up. "So, are we all ready to head over to Petalburg City?" she asked. The four nodded and headed out the door. Even if we get lost we can always find our way back." Kayla explained before pointing to the general direction of Petalburg City, causing the group to change course slightly. "Or, if we get lost, you could just fly us to Petalburg City, Kayla." If you get lost, it shouldn't be any problem. You can easily find your way back with a map of some sort and if you get attacked, you've always got your Pokemon to defend you." The group walked on for a little while before a Trainer suddenly jumped out in front of them. You can choose the Trainer's Pokemon during the fight, just keep it to what a beginning Pokemon Trainer outside of Littleroot might have. Like Wurmple, Zigzagoon or Poochyena. Pokemon along those lines. Ezekiel
Imi looked at the trainer, "Yeah! Finally, a battle!" she said, sounding very confident. The guy smirked, "Hey girly, are you sure you wanna fight with me? I'm not easy." "Yeah, I'm sure," Imi said sarcastically, yawning, "I bet all you've got is a pathetic Wurmple" The boy snarled, "My Wurmple is not pathetic! You asked for it!" he threw his Pokeball and a Wurple appeared in front of Imi. She smirked, "It is on!" she shouted, throwing her Pokeball, "Go Torchic!" Torchic appeared and chirped, glaring at the Wurple, which seemed to flinch. Imi laughed, trying to sound threatening. Shea whispered to Maia, "She's terrified, isn't she?" Maia nodded, "Yep, she's just trying to look tough" Imi sighed and put on her serious face, 'This is it' she thought, 'Shea, I'll show you I am a good Pokemon trainer.' "Wurmple, String Shot!" Imi's eyes flashed and she clenched her fists, "Torchic, dodge it and use Scratch!" Torchic manages to dodge the String Shot and hit right on target with a powerful scratch attack. Wurmple staggered back and fell, "One hit KO!" Ryo cheered. "Oh yeah!" Imi shouted punching the air, she turned around and winked at Shea, "No prob!" she said as she called for Torchic to return. She giggled, "Shall we go on?" she asked, walking into the grass without looking. Kayla shouted for her to stop, "Imi! Careful there might be wild Pokemon!" The warning fell on deaf ears and a few seconds later the growl of a Poochyena was heard. "Oh no." Maia said. "Will her Torchic be okay?" Ryo asked sounding worried. Kayla looked stern, "We'll see, it should have grown a level from her last battle but...." she walked forward. "Let's watch." Imi looked worried now, she called out her Torchic. "Just try to hold on, please?" Imi asked. Then she clicked, "Hey! I just thought, at this low level Poochyena's don't know physical attacks!" she grinned and her Torchic attacked with scratch attack repeatedly. The Poochyena winced and staggered, Imi threw a Pokeball. "Come on...." she pleaded. The Pokeball shuddered and then stopped. Imi laughed, "I done it!" she shouted, picking up her Pokeball. She walked out of the grass and Kayla clapped, "Well done, Imi. Now, remember to use those Pokemon equally." Imi nodded, still grinning. Maia piped up, "Shall we continue?" she laughed.
inti
"Wow! You already caught your first Pokemon? I wanna catch one too!" The others laughed as well, Maia was getting all huffy and she clenched her fists by her sides. Maia's little Treeko still stood on her head, and it looked at their surroundings. "Tree-Treeko!" it cried, and lept off Maia's head and ran into the long grass near a small river that was running nearby. "Come back Treeko!" she called to her Pokemon and ran after the little green lizard. "Does she always run off like that?" Kayla asked the members of the group. Shea nodded, Imi nodded and Ryo ran after Maia, calling for her to slow down or the 12-yr-old would get hurt. "And what about her?" Kayla pointed after Ryo. Shea and Imi nodded again. "Treeko, where are you?" Maia whispered through the grass. "TREEKO!" her Pokemon jumped out of the grass and onto Maia's face, sending them both flying back into Ryo who had just come up behind Maia. The three were on the ground in stitches with laughter when five Seedots ran past, being chased by a young Trainer. "Hey, get back here you pesky Seedot! You hurt my Zigzagoon! Get back heeeerreee!" Then they were all gone. Maia shot up, dragging her Treeko along by the arm like a 5-yr-old with her favorite rag-doll. "Come on Ryo! I want one of those Seedot! He'll scare them away if I don't stop him!" Maia shouted back at her friend who was sitting up now, staring after the little girl and her Treeko. "Stop right there you dumb Seedot! Let me teach you all a lesson!" the young boy yelled at the acorn-shaped Pokemon. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" "And who might you be?!" the kid turned around to find Maia and her Treeko, arms crossed, legs shoulder-width apart. The classic 'angry/defiant stance'. "I challenge you to a Pokemon battle!" Maia glared at the boy, "And if you lose, you leave the Seedot alone." The Trainer raised his eyebrows, "You're kidding, right?" "No." she snapped. "I have 2 Pokemon." "I have Treeko!" "You're on." Maia smiled and evil grin, "Good." "Go, Poochyena!" "Treeko, we've done this before! Pound, Leer, Absorb!" Maia called out orders for her Treeko like she was at a Fast-Food restaurant. Treeko lept into the air, swung its tail around and smashed it into her opponent's face. The Poochyena fell backwards, but used the fall to jump back off the ground for a full force Tackle attack. Treeko dodged swiftly to the left, then cast its angry gaze (Leer) upon Poochyena, lowering the puppy's defense. Treeko jumped on top of Poochyena, took a firm grip in the poor dog's fur and used Absorb. "Yay! Go Treeko! Go Treeko! Go-go-go-Treeko!" Maia pulled two green pompoms from nowhere and cheered her little Pokemon on. "No! Poochyena!" the young boy cried, and withdrew his Pokemon. "You're gonna pay for that! Your turn Zigzagoon!" A tired looking raccoon-Pokemon popped out of the kid's Pokeball, and laid down to rest. "Treeko, Pound!" Maia yelled, almost at the top of her lungs, scaring away some of the Tailow that were in the branches of nearby trees. "NO!" the Trainer withdrew his Zigzagoon quickly and ran off crying. "That'll show you not to harass Grass-types!" Maia called after him. Ryo, Shea, Imi and Kayla ran into the small shaded area where Maia and the Seedots were sitting just as she praised Treeko for a good battle. "Now, which one of you lot will challenge Treeko here to a quick round?" she laughed and smiled, hands on hips. The group of Seedots shied back, but one stood firm. "Ok, so we're battling you?" she asked it, and it cried its name in a challenge-like response. "Treeko, Pound attack!" Maia said, not wasting her energy on yelling or shouting the attacks this time. Treeko ran at Seedot, who still stood where it had been from the beginning, and used her Pound attack, again swinging her tail around at full speed to hit Seedot square on. "What? Shouldn't that have done damage to Seedot?" Maia asked herself out loud, a little worried that Treeko's Pound didn't seem to have much of an effect. "It might be using Bide," Kayla put in, "Be careful Maia, Seedot will send back Treeko's attacks twofold." Maia wasn't sure what 'twofold' meant, but it didn't sound good. She threw a Pokeball at Seedot instead of ordering Treeko to attack it. "Pokeball, go!" The Seedot snapped out of it's Bide attack, which had put it into a trance-like state, and made to run, but tripped and fell on its face (in the true Maia-style). The Pokeball fell short, but bounced and rolled up to Seedot. "Seedot!" the nut-Pokemon cried, and stood up, accidentally knocking the small button on the Pokeball. It immediately got sucked inside, and didn't resist it's captor as she ran up to pick up her new Pokemon in its Pokeball (the red light hadn't stopped flashing yet). "Wait a second Maia!" Imi shouted, warning her that if she interrupted, Seedot might end up popping out and running off. "Oh, ok." Maia said quietly and waited. The red light stopped flashing. "Yeah! I caught my first Pokemon!" Maia ran to pick up the Pokeball, but tripped and fell on her face, hitting the switch on Seedot's ball, releasing it. Seedot ran around in a circle, ran into Maia, tripped and fell on its face too. "Is she gonna do that a lot?" Kayla asked the others. Shea nodded, Imi nodded and Ryo ran over, asking if Maia was ok. Imi tripped up too. "And her?" Kayla pointed at Ryo in her barely-conscious state. Shea and Imi both nodded. OOC: There's a little humour to add to it all. (You can catch Seedot or Lotad in the area the group should be in by now, I checked :P)
Muse
"Well, this is going to take some time to clean up..." Shea laughed, turning and looking around. He wanted a Pokemon, too. There we're alot of Seedots, but he didn't want one of those... He took out his Pokedex and turned slowly, as the robotic voice told him about each Pokemon around him. "Lotad, a Water/Grass Pokemon..." Shea's Pokedex couldn't finish, he had snapped it shut and yelled something that sounded like "WATER!" excitedly, rushing over to the small blue Pokemon with a large leaf growing out of it's head. "Oh, great, looks like we wont have Shea back for a while," Imi sighed. "Lo-Lotad?" The Lotad said confused, noticing Shea staring at it with a look of over-enthusiastic astonishment. Wanting back it's space bubble, it sent a jet of water straight into the intruder's face. "Mudkip!" Mudkip cried protectively as Shea sat back up, looking a bit dazed. "Lotad!" Both Pokemon gave each other the death 'before-the-battle' stare, when Mudkip charged, using Tackle and quickly sending the Lotad flying. "Good idea, Mudkip. Water attacks wont do much damage to it, tackle again!" Shea, regaining himself and shouting out his orders. Lotad sent another blast of water, but Mudkip dramatically ran headfirst into the stream and collided headfirst with it's opponent. "Mud, mudkip..?" Mudkip stumbled around like it was drunk, it's eyes out of focus. Lotad looked even worse off, as it had little x's for eyes and was only sitting there. "Pokeball, go!" Shea tossed his Pokeball at the stunned Lotad, the red light engulfing it. The ball shook once...twice...three times, and the little 'ding!' rang through the air and Shea whooped triumphantly. "Hey! I wanted that Pokemon!" Cried a girl a few feet infront of him, in the same pose as Maia's opponent. "So?" Shea asked, sounding genuinely confused. "I will battle you for it!" The girl said smugly. "Oh, uh.." "You can do it, Shea! You can beat this pushover!" Imi called out, and Shea, always trying to impress the ladies, agreed. "Good, one on one, 'cuz I only have a Wurmple..." She trailed off, a little disapointed. But, she grinned again and sent out the worm Pokemon. "Go, Mudkip! Use Water Gun and Tackle and you know what to do!" Shea shouted instantly, pointing at the Wurmple. Mudkip used Water Gun, and once again using it as the perfect form of cover, ran through it as it sped towards its unknowing opponent. "Wurmple, Stringshot!" But, as Wurmple had no clue where Mudkip was, shot it out in every direction, missing terribly. "Wurmple?" It said, confused. At that moment, the water blast hit it square on, as well as the tackle, sending it crashing into a tree, knocking it out. The girl picked it up, howling, and ran away. "Hah, no one takes my Lotad." Shea muttered triumphantly, to no one in particular.
Ezekiel
Imi smiled and gave Shea the thumbs up when he turned around. "Yeah!" Shea shouted, standing in a victory pose, "With this Lotad....I am invincible!" he held up his Pokeball in an over-dramatic fashion. He was quickly winded by Imi hugging him. "Well done Shea!" she said squeezing him tightly. She looked up, blushed and then let go, walking over to the others to stand by them. Maia and Ryo looked at each other and Kayla raised an eyebrow. "Well, Shea, congratulations on your first battle and capture. You handled yourself like a pro" Kayla said, walking over to Shea as she praised him. Shea puffed out his chest and nodded, "Well, what can I say?" he asked sarcastically and the others laughed. "We should get going." Ryo said, "Besides, I want to catch a Pokemon too!" The others nodded and they continued on their way. Imi hung back behind the others, not saying anything. 'I'll just keep quiet' she thought as she watched Shea and Maia joke around, 'It's better this way....' OOC: Sorry for the short post, I couldn't think of anything else ^^;
Muse
Shea blushed a bit as he remembered the hug Imi had given him. He shook his head to clear his mind, put his hands behind his head and let a huge yawn. "Tired, Shea?" Ryo asked rhetorically(sp?) laughing. "Shea is always tired, isn't he?" Imi joked, still a little embarassed about the hug. "Hey, a boy needs his sleep, too." Shea said in mock outrage. "Well, I guess it is getting a little bit dark. We could set up camp..." Kayla said intelligently, taking a look at their surroundings. "And, there will be some Pokemon that come out a night soon, so that will be a treat for you guys." At the end of this sentence, Shea fell right down, "Well, I am really tired. All this walking is killing me." 'Oh, stop complaining, Shea! We've barely gone anywhere today!" Imi cried exasperatedly, throwing her hands in the air. Shea just grinned and let Lotad out of its Pokeball.
