Ok this one is pretty tough, but I think I've narrowed it down. I''ve picked three different kinds of shows that I find very entertainig.

1. Batman: The Animated Series
This is the best incarnation of Batman there has ever been, without a doubt. The cartoon, created by Bruce Timm (who went on to do Superman, TNBA, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and have a hand in Teen Titans, as well as an upcoming Batman cartoon), even managed to "fix" some of the movies and comics had broken when it comes to Batman's storylines. It polished up a lot of characters, it created another mainstay one (Harley Quinn), but most importantly, it showed how awesome a serious, dark cartoon about Batman can really be.
I'll have to admit much of it was inspired by Burton's dark Batman film, more so than Frank Miller's dreadful The Dark Knight Returns (which if you ask me, apart from making Batman "dark" again, was atrocious).
What makes B:TAS so good, though, is the seamless artwork, the great musical score, and the surprisingly good writing. There are numerous very memorable lines of dialogue in the show, as well as actually interesting storylines. Who can forget the great ending of "Almost Got 'Im!" or the perfect origin of Robin story that is "Robin's Reckoning"?
Also I must say that the best feature-length Batman film is not Burton's Batman, but rather Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Anyone who's watched both and knows anything about Batman would agree.
(other cartoons I find awesome: The Adventures of Superman (which is really just as good as Batman: TAS, considering that it's also the best version of Superman there's ever been), Rocko's Modern Life, Family Guy, The Critic. (I group The New Batman Adventures with Batman: TAS))

2. Seinfeld
This is the funniest sitcom I've ever watched. There are maybe 2 episodes that I don't like all that much. All the rest put to shame the absolute finest episodes almost all other sitcoms ever came up with. The characters are awesome, and that's part of why the show is so good. But what I find particularly great about it is that in each episode there will be something like 4 seemingly unrelated stories happening at the same time, and they always come together somehow and it's always hilarious.
(As far as sitcoms go, I also really enjoy the British "Coupling" and Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm.")

3. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys
This show came closest to an on-screen RPG of all other shows. Each episode was a random adventure where Herc and his buddy Iolaus would either battle some monster or stop a warlord or save an innocent man from the executioner. But what was good about the show was that it was very light-hearted. There was just as much comedy as there was old-school low-budget action. Also, the show was filmed extremely well. Besides the really good close-up work, Hercules: TLJ showed just as well as LotR (if not better) just how beautiful New Zealand's (ummm I mean Greece's) various landscapes are. And, of course, Kevin Sorbo as Hercules was awesome. Nothing like the mythological Hercules, Kevin's was more of a "Superman" character.

Not to mention that Hercules was good enough to inspire numerous spin-offs and pretenders (Xena, Young Hercules, Conan the Adventurer, Beastmaster, Robin Hood, and maybe some others I've missed). Most of them sucked hard, and even Xena, although it also had its share of great episodes, ultimately failed because it took itself way too seriously (on a side note Lucy Lawless is a great actress--have you seen her in real life? She's nothing like Xena at all).
(other adventure shows I liked: Xena's early seasons, and I think that's about it. Robin Hood had potential, but lasted for like 5 episodes before it disappeared.)

Okay lets give this a shot, but narrowing thwm down is really difficult and im probably gonna change them later.

1. Scrubs - Everything about this show is funny, the only thing that i dont like is that they havnt released a DVD version yet, and i missed some of the early episodes. Waiting for that DVD...

2. Coupling - in case you havnt heard of this, its a british sitcom and is another one of the comedy master-pieces. Every show has a really funny senario and all the characters are HILARIOUS. Especially Geoff, if you dont laugh at him then you must be clinically dead.

3. Futurama - forget the simpsons, futurama is far better. Put a 20th century guy 1000 yers into the future, add a one eyed alien, alchholic robot and a mad professer and there you have it - the perfect comedy. Only thing is, i hear the stopeed making the episodes now. Idiots.

1) Family Guy- The funniest show in my book. My FAVORITE episode is when Peter is in court, and the Kool-Aid Man busts through the wall saying, "Oh Yeah!" (Though I've met a lot of people who loved this episode too) Some funny stuff. A 10/10 for me.

2) I've gotta agree with Thanatos, Futurama is awesome- I practically live to watch it. My favorite characters are Bender and Fry. (Did anyone other than me know that Fry is also the voice for Buzz from Honey Nut Cheerios?)

3) Who's Line Is It Anyway?- This show has me rolling. The comedy is practically priceless. What more could I ask for?

I'm a comedy freak... :D

1: The Daily Show with Jon Stewart: Easily the funniest show on television. A fake news show, The Daily Show pokes fun at everything, and takes some brutal swipes at political events. From running footage of the eight world leaders at the Geneva Convention walking along a beach while playing the Empire theme from Star Wars to calling their coverage of the anniversary of Bush's aircraft carrier landing '365 Days Later' (a play on the title of zombie movie 28 Days Later), they've beaten Bush and co. in every possible way, and a few impossible ones. But the Democrats don't escape Jon Stewart, who frequently makes fun of Jon Kerry. Add a great batch of correspondants, and you have a show that's almost too funny for TV.

2: South Park: Also hillarious. To my knowledge, there isn't anything that's escaped South Park. From SARS ("There's only a 98% chance you'll survive") to Pokemon (He doesn't really have a small penis!") to alien abduction stories ("Dude, stop farting fire!"), if it exists, South Park has maken fun of it.

3: Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn: Four comedians plus host Colin Quinn talking-arguing, actually, and frequently shouting-about the issues. The best "regular" guests are Nick DiPallio, Jim Norton, Patrice O'Neil, Kieth Robinson, and Judy Gold. Denis LEary has also made apperances, and even Jon Stewart and Dave Chapell (sp?) have made appearances.

It's a bit of a trial to do this, but I may as well accept the challenge since there may be a test at the end of this somewhere and I want to be prepared.

1.) First and foremost: Queer Eye for the Straight Guy

I really can't say enough about this show. I love what they do to the poor badly dressed straight guy. I love how Carson calls the guy Peanut. And how they talk about the 'straight guy speed shave' It's just my show! I want to have a show like that so I can make people over, boss them around and throw their furniture out the window. It's the closest I can come to being the world leader. :D

2.) I Love Lucy:

Who doesn't? It's pretty much an American staple, the show is over 50 years old and people still watch it. This was the first sitcom to have an interacial (if you want to call it that) marriage, they slept in the same bed after a while and it was the first show to have the woman say 'I'm pregnant.' I think I may be a bit Biased for the show because Lucille Ball (I can't remember her real name) was born in Jameston, New York which is about an hour from where I live. Yes this show is not only a classic, but my second favorite ever. I just love her antics and everything.

I also find it interesting that Vivian Vance and the guy who played Fred MErtze (I can't think of his name either) absolutely hated eachother. He was pretty nasty to her on stage. And the play that Lucy met Desi at was called 'Too many girls' and thet's how they got divorced. Oh and DesiLu is the company that released Star Trek.

3.) Rugrats:

I can't give a very honest answer, but I've been watching the show since it came out on Nickelodian back in 2001 when I was 10 years old. Now it's 12 years later and I'm still watching it. I even saw two of the movies and I watch the All Grown up Series as well.

Well, there you have my top three picks along with useless information. I hope this was fun for you

This is really hard.

I think my first show has to be Angel, i liked it more than Buffy. It a bit darker and more serious than Buffy but it still has its funny bits. Im so sad that it ended.

Charmed has to be my second choice. I love anything to do with the supernatural and magic. All the story lines are good. My favorite character is Pheobe, i like the way she grew up in the last few seires.

My last choice is anything with Lenny Henry in it. He is a great comedian, i love all his skits and he's from dudley(which isnt that far from me!)

3. MTV2's Rock Countdown- Yeah, music videos and the music in one is always good. :D

There are my three fave shows....

1. Trigun: for some reason. I don't know.
2. Angel: But I only like the ones with Spike in it. Spikes the reason.
3. Buffy the vampire slayer: I like the one when they all start to sing the best and I like vampires to so it all works out.

Okay here are my 3 favourites:

Invader Zim: Although i hate that pretty boy Jhonen Vasquez, this is an outstanding piece of work, hurrah for GIR!

The Simpsons: THE ORIGINAL COMEDIC FAMILY! Or at least in my opinion, all of those other crapped out shows like Family Guy just suck, futurama is an exception because it was created by The Simpsons guy.

this is a hard one but i'll go with.......Transformers(any): I loved the original, beast wars, energon, and armada. But they could make it better by kciking out the humans, because everytime the Autobots go into battle they ssay "Protect the humans" I would think that would be a pain, btu I love the decepticons, my fav. is Megatron, but I my only favourite on the Autobots would have to Optimus Prime. No matter how good he is, he's still one badass robot.

1. Seinfeld: a fresh original sitcom, unmatched in most classes. I love the shows humor in everyday life compremise. Aswell, it has rememberal characters, minor, major, or temporary. Kramer, Newman, and the Soup Nazi's are my favorite characters.

2. Family Guy: funnier than the Simpson's to me. It has more, quicker humor that flys from every where. Poking fun at pop culture, old and new. I love how it pokes fun at old TV shows and movies, aswell as its many cut scenes to explain a line.

3. Chappelle Show great homor. Lovable and memorable skits and characters. The greatest comedy variety show since Saturday Night Live... Greatness above all. "Joe Rogan, there's something about me you might not know... I SMOKE ROCKS!" Classic...

Honorable Mention:

Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law
Best Week Ever
