Maura walked back to the others with a small brown pokemon in her hands. Carter looked at the pokemon.
" How did you get that?" Carter asked.
" I toke it to the pokecenter in Virdean and they cured it, but I guess it liked me."
" How did it get here though?"
" Pokemon Transport System or the PTS. My brother told me about it. He also sent me my pokemon that I let him borrow."
Petting the eevee she now held in her hands, pulling a pokeball from her belt and sent the small brown pokemon back into its new ball. Shin looking up at her frowned a little jealous of Maura's two other pokemon he would be sharing the attection with.
" I'm ready to get my next badge how about you guys."

OOC: Maura's other pokemon is a Misdreavus nicknamed Missy.

"Later" Maura said, and was gone to catch up with the others.

"Well then, trainer. Ready to battle? It'll be a series of two one on one matches, in my water arena." as Misty continued her talking, in a speechlike manor, an arena, with tiny islands of land poking out of a vast amount of deep dark blue water.
"As you can see, there are little bits of land, so you could use any Pokemon, but I wouldn't recommend it. So, chose your Pokemon now."

[color=darkolivegreen]Well then, let us pave our path! Go Maple![/color]

"Fine then, I choose you! Staryu!" Misty released her Pokemon, and almost instantly started commanding it in battle. "Staryu, tackle attack! Go for the side!"

[color=darkolivegreen]Maple! Quick, vine whip! Grab the staryu on your left![/color]

As if the creature understood his words, the Ivysaur, with little delay, turned to his left side and shot out two long strings of vine. Wrapping each one around a different arm of the Staryu, Maple started to squeeze the Staryu.

"Staryu, tackle! Get free of the vines!" Misty commanded.

And as she said, the Staryu shot across the room, out of the Ivysaurs reach.

[color=darkolivegreen]Ok...I've got this! Ivysaur, jump to the island north of you! Now, use vine whip to latch onto it![/color]

The Ivysaur was now in midair, around arms length away from the Staryu. The Staryu, almost fainted, almost had given up all hope.

Using gravity to its advantage, the Ivysaur knocked the Staryu out of the air.

[color=darkolivegreen]Now, I'm going for the gold! Go, Butterfree![/color]

"I choose you, Starmie!"

Kazu had been thinking over a thought he had as soon as he saw the arena. [i]Now, if I use stun spore, for example...wouldn't it mix around in the water? All I have to do is get it in the water, and I'm gold![/i]

Now poison powder![/color]

"What-- the water! These waters are also used for shows! How dare you pollute them! Starmie, tackle that thing out of the sky!" Misty commanded.

But Butterfree didn't dodge it in time. It fell rapidly, without a chance to get up, into the tainted water. [i]No, it's all over... My trap worked against me... Wha--[/i]

[color=darkolivegreen]Yes! You're ok![/color]

"Your Butterfree is immune to its own poison. That let it live. Now, please finish this up, today's been busy, and it isn't over yet" Misty said, with a hint of delight.

[color=darkolivegreen]Butterfree, do as you wish. I want you to win.[/color]

"Fine, Starmie, do what you want" Misty said.

First, Butterfree continually tackled the Starmie, and the Starmie tried to tackle back, but missed.
Then, Butterfree knocked it into the water, and with the poison and paralyze, Misty surrendered.

"I'll say, you're a good trainer. You're almost close to Josh--" Misty had said something wrong, and she knew it by the look on his face.

When he met up with them, Kazu found them training. He suddenly said something.

[color=darkolivegreen]Hurry up! We need to catch up to him! If you all hurry up, we should find that guy soon![/color]

"You know you just spent well over an hour battling the [i]second[/i] gym leader, with a type advantage? [i][b]You[/b][/i] need to hurry up." Katai said, and Kazu just let his anger out during his training, while the next person hurried to the gym...

Rorohiko and Mizu were on the deck when Ralonoa found them. "We didn't find much," she said.

"What did you find?" Rorohiko asked.

"Just a map. There were a few areas marked. One was Slateport, and there was a line drawn from Slateport to Mauville. Lillycove was also marked, and there was a line from there to Mauville, as well."

"They must be meeting in Mauville. Trolmont will lead the assembled group to their target."

"That's probably the last place marked on the map, but I have no clue what's at that mark."

"I do," Rorohiko replied. "That's where the cult's group is headed, and Mizu and I are going there, too. That's Ferina."

"The cult's after Jirachi?"

Rorohiko nodded. "It makes wishes come true, Ralonoa. Even though it's asleep, we can't let them get to it. It's unlikly, but they might be able to wake it up. I calculate the odds of that at about 1%, but since they're after Jirachi, I'd say that the 1% happened. But don't worry. We'll make sure they don't get Jirachi."

[COLOR=DarkOrange][FONT=Century Gothic]"Okay, Katai, help Misty heal her Poke'mon so I can face her. I really need this badge." *Carter got a strange fiery look in his eyes as he strode toward the gym door after Katai*

"Umm..." *Katai blocked the entrance* "I was hoping you would let me go next." *Katai asked Carter*

"??? But you're not collecting badges. Why would you want...???" *Carter and Kazu both looked perturbed, but in knowing how strange she was, not totally taken aback*

"Well, not totally true..." *Katai reached in her over-sized boot and pulled out 5 shiny badges* "These are all from gyms I faced with my old Rattata and Scither, but then they made the rule that you had to have a 'Trainers' ID' to have a Poke'mon... That is why I jioned TR, because they let me have Poke'mon when I was only 8. I got these from some strange, yet legal, gyms. And I got 2 from a trainers school I used to go to before dad died..." *Katai clenched her fist around her badges*

"Why didn't you face Brock, then? After you beat him and Misty, you would practically qualify for the Poke'mon league!! Why?" *Kazu questioned her*

"Well... Long story. Hmm. Well, I don't believe a sob-story to be told directly before a match. Well, I don't mind if you watch my match with her, I've nothing to hide. My battle style is, while original, still very simple." *Katai headed for the gym door.*

"Katai?! That you?! OMG!!! It's been, like, 6 months since I've seen you! (LOVE you're hair-cut, btw ^^)" *Misty ran up to Katai*

"Wow, it has been a while, no? (Oh, wow, I like you're outfit, Misty.)" *Katai and Misty started yapping, but then Katai remembered why she'd come* "Oh, Misty, I was hoping for a battle? For old-times sake, ya know?" *Katai smiled and walked with Misty toward the field*

"Oh, since the last trainer gooked-up the water, let's use that old field that we used to battle on, okay?" Misty led the way, Carter and Katai following*

"Okay ^^ Let's go, 3-on-3? You can use you're secret weapon. I know you must've evolved it by now..." *Katai asked Misty.*

"Yep ^^ I'll use it, I guess... But then we'll have to make it a 2-on-2, if you don't mind..." *Misty looked deep in thought*

"Okay, I'll use... FaerieDust!! Go!!" *Katai sent out her newly-caught Clefairy*

"Togetec, I choose you!! Metronome!" *Misty used a non-water Poke'mon, Togetec*

"Hehe ^^ Kawaii!! It's sooo cute, misty!!"

"Oh, I love you're Clefairy ^^ Totally cute!!! Oh, yeah, the match... Sorry >.<' Well, hit it with a Metronome, okay, Togetec?" *Misty ordered*

"Sing!! Hurry, before it uses it's attack!!" *Katai was just a bit too late, it seemed, for Togetec went through with it's attack... Useing Ice Beam!! Clefairy dodged it, but not without geting a few scraches and a couple lost HP*

"You can still win, FaerieDust!! Sing, and finish it with a double-slap before it re-gains it's energy!! Now!!" *Katai's Clefairy managed to finish, and hit, Togetec, putting it to sleep and out of the match.*

"Round one: Katai's Clefairy is the victor!"

"Well, let's go, Beedrill!! You next! Return, FaerieDust!" *Katai sent out her most powerful Poke'mon, Beedrill!!*

"Okay, then, I'll use my strongest, too!! Go, Golduck!!"

"Oh, it eveolved!! That's a pretty nice lookin' Golduck, Misty!" *Katai complimented*

"Yeah, thanks!! Oh... Umm, yeah... It's a... Bug...." *Misty trembled*

"It's fine, it won't hurt you. But it may hurt you're Golcuck!!Fury-Swipes, now!!" *Katai called to her Beedrill*

"Eey... Oh, umm... Use Water-Gun on that nasty... Thing..." *Misty cowered at the very edge of the trainer box thing*

*Beedrill, being a very high level and very VERY fast, easily dodged the assault and hit Golduck head-on. Golduck was dazed, but not out.*

"Now, Hydro-Pump!! You're strongest attack!! It won't dodge this!"

*But Misty was so very wrong. Beedrill dodged and, yet again, used Fury-Swipes. Golduck looked very tired by this time, and Misty saw that, while Beedrill stood, unphased.*

"You know, you've gotten better, Katai. Return, Golduck. Here's you're badge, you earned it." *Misty re-called her Poke'mon, and walked over to hand Katai the badge. She made sure to steer clear of Beedrill, though.*

"Thanks, Misty. That was a good fight." *Katai walked out of that gym with a new badge, and a very surprized Carter*

"Katai! You're good!! I didn't realize how much you've been training... You're Poke'mon must be at least lv 35 to have beaten Misty withowt a single scratch! I'm impressed, Katai."

"Hehe, ^^ Thanks."

OOC: You weren't very clear there, eclipse, so I'll say what I think you meant to help the others. After everyone battles Misty, they'll go to Vermillion. After everyone battles Lt. Surge, they'll get on a ship bound for Slateport. On the boat, Team Rocket attacks them. After landing in the Hoenn region, they find the Orb that Jirachi will eventually end up in.

Just so everyone knows, Rorohiko and Mizu will soon reach Slateport. They'll go to Ferina, get Jirachi without the help of the Orb, then return to Slateport and board a ship (probably Ralonoa's). Maybe the two groops can meet up again when Rorohiko and Mizu return to Slateport.

"We'll hit Slateport shortly after lunch," Rorohiko told Mizu. "In Slateport, we'll stock up on supplies, then we'll cut cross country instead of going through Mauville. We need to stay ahead of the cult's group, and they're meeting in Mauville. So we'll take the shorter way cross-country, and we should reach Ferina ahead of them. Hopefully, we'll find a fast Pokemon to catch, one large enough for you to ride on. That will make things easier when we reach Ferina.

"When we get to Ferina, just follow me. Don't try to catch any of the Pokemon, because if you try to catch one, they'll all be mad. When we reach a cave, we'll need to move fast, which is where the fast Pokemon to ride comes in. An Absol guards Jirachi, and it will attack us when we enter the cave. We'll have to move fast. When we reach a chanber, you look for Jirachi while I handle the Absol. Got it?" Mizu nodded. "Good."

And I have a unique way of training, and it is WWWAAAYYY more efficient. Also, my PKMN are always out, and almost constantly training. Katai doesn't believe in Poke'balls.) ))

"... It's Vermillion..." *Carter wondered why Katai always left, when, apparently she knows not what she's doing*

"That's what I meant. Well, buh-bye!!" *Katai skipped toward the door, Spore and FaerieDust at her heels. Beedrill was way ahead of them.* "Hey, look... That bike shop is totally demolishied..." *Katai remembered the battle that destroyed it*

"Yo!!! Whatsup, bro? I called from the PKMN Center to tell you I think I found you a job..." *Katai kinda drifted off*

"Really? Oh, wow, where?" *Hideki, Katai's brother, questioned her*

"..... Ceruleon. It's the Bike Shop, the need it re-built." *Katai said slowly*

"Okay, be there in a sec... Maybe they'll let me help in the construction, think?

Ralonoa again located Rorohiko and Mizu. This time, the two were in the mess hall, eating lunch. "We'll be in Slateport in about an hour," she said. "It may interest you to know that Trolmont was contacted by a port security official, which is very possible for those guys to do. They can access the radio towers freely. My security boys listened in on the conversation, which is standard procedure whenever a non-crew member is contacted in that way.

"The security man who contacted Trolmon is obviously one of the cult. He's meeting Trolmont at Dock 9, close to where we'll be, Dock 11. He's secured transport to Mauville, where the two of them will wait for the rest of the group. They anticipate that they'll leave Mauville at about 5:30 p.m. tomorrow."

"Well, we'll be well ahead of them by then," Rorohiko said. "We're taking the quick way cross-country. Mauville's only about four hours on foot from Slateport, so the fact that we'll be moving slower then Trolmont and his buddy won't be relevent. From Mauville, they'll either have to cut cross-country the whole rest of the way or go so far off course that they'll add a day or two to their journey.They'll cut cross-country, putting them about a day behind us. Plenty of time for us to get Jirachi, and for me to accomplish my goal in Ferina."

The big screen flashed on it showed Misty's face with 2 boxs next to her and Carter with 2 boxs next to him.

Pikachu used a thunder shock at Golden.Then the fish countered with a horn attack.Then Pikachu used a quick attack.Goldeen flopped on to the island to the left fainted.
Misty:You used an electric pokemon how unfair trying to play to the advantedg,Oh well I'll win the next match.I chose you Golduck.

The pokemon came from out of its poke ball.The 2 began to battle intensly.Pikachu spun around golduck's body with agility.Golduck confussed pikachu with confussion.Then Golduck used slash but pikachu jumped behind it and used thunder shock then swift.The combo KOed Golduck.The boxs next to Misty;s face went ouShe came up and handed him the Cascade badge.
Carter left the gym and ran down the path to Vermillion city,He soon ran into Kazu and the two walked down the road looking at there new badge.[/COLOR]

That really smarts..." *Katai cut it with her teeth and stuffed the rest back in a green first aid bag* "Oh, crap... I guess we should head toward Vermillion Poke'mon Center and lick our wounds... C'mon, I give up. I can't train anymore."

"Drill drill beedrill bee." (Yep, just like you to give up when the going gets tough.) "Beedrill scoffed*

"Whatever. You're just as bad off as me, moron. We'll train more later... Once I can feel my arm..." *Katai stood, leaning against a tree. It looked as iff her leggs were about to give in*

"Katai?! What the...? I thought you went to Vermillion!? Are you okay?" *Kazu and Carter came down the path, running toward Katai*

"Oh, crap... Didn't want them to see me like this..." *Katai mumbled under her breath* "Oh... Uh, hi, guys... I was just... Umm..."

"You were just getting yourself killed!! What did you do to youself!? C'mon, Carter and I will help you..." *Kazu walked up to Katai and held out his hand*

"I'm fine! Back off... I don't need you're help, Kazu. Or you, Carter." *Katai started walking, very poorly, but walking nonetheless, down the path in front of Kazu and Carter* "Well, did you do well in you're battle with Misty? What about Maura?"

"Oh, I uh... I won... With Pikachu... She used Goaldeen and Goalduck." *Carter mumbled*

"Oh, a type advantage.... That's not like you, kid." *Katai started to stumble, but she caught herself* "Well, how're you gonna beat Surge, ya think? He has a type advantage on you, not the other way around." *They made it to Vermillion, finally, and went right for the Center for Katai and her Poke'mon to rest.* "Well, you guys go get that badge, okay? Don't lose, now... Good luck, Carter. Kazu. Buh-bye. I'll be by Digglett's cave when you're done... Unless you need sone training first? Surge is no pushover. You might wanna train... Or catch new Poke'mon... Or something." *Katai emerged from the center with her egg in hand, staring Carter and Kazu in the face*

"I don't know... I rather like my current party." *Kazu said*

"Well... I might need to train Pikachu a bit..." *Carter thought aloud*


"Then it's settled! We'll train a bit first, okay with you? Of course it is! C'mon!" *Katai ;ed the way*

"But... I... Wait, I never said that I would... Oh, fine." *Kazu followed behind Katai and Certer, though rather sceptical*

"This'll be fun!! Training together, no?" *Katai beamed*[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple]Maura walked into the gym smiling this battle would be a breeze. She already knew that water pokemon where weakened by electric pokemon and with Shin by her side she would win this battle for sure.
" Are you here for a gym battle?" Misty asked her as she came closer.
" Yes."
" Okay then a one on one battle most of my pokemon are tired."
" Fine with me." Seconds later Maura was standing on the floating platform Shin infront of her sparks already flying from his cheeks. Misty on the oppisate side of the gym held up a pokeball.
" GO Kingdra!!" A blue evil looking seahorse pokemon came bursting out of the ball.
" GO Shin! Take it down!" Maura said happily.
" Kingdra Water Gun!" The attack had litttle effect on Shin.
" Shin Swift!" Large stars rased towards Kingdra. Taking cover under the pool of water it recived little damage. Shin grew angery and more sparks came from his cheeks.
" Shin use Thundershock on the water!" Shin did so but, the Kingdra used a water gun to propel itself out of the water.
" NOW use another Thundershock!"
" NO!" Misty shouted. But it was to late the attack had knocked out Kingdra winning Maura and Shin the match and the gym badge. After Maura had gottened her badge and thanked Misty for the battle she ran off towards the others.[/COLOR]

OOC: I don't have an exact level figured out for Absol, but because he's been Rorohiko's only Pokemon for five years (Rorohiko will not be catching any other Pokemon, by the way), he's certainly quite powerful.

When they got to Slateport, Rorohiko and Mizu went shopping for supplies. Rorohiko turned out to have a lot of cash with him, and he wasn't exactly reluctant to spend it. He bought the best equipment, and about twice the food and water the two of them would need.

Rorohiko and Mizu spread everything out in front of them. They had two rather large packs, which would be mostly filled by the food and water. Some things, like flashlights and stuff like that, also fit in, but the rest didn't. What was left out of the packs was a pair of sleeping bags, a pole Rorohiko had found and decided to keep as a weapon just in case, hiking sticks, and a bundle of wires.

Rorohiko attached the rolled-up sleeping bags to the packs, then secured them with the wire. There was a lot of wire left, which he somehow managed to stuff into his pack. "I hope you can handle the pace I'm going to set with that heavy pack," he said as he and Mizu put the packs on their backs.

"I'll be fine," Mizu assured him as they started off. And she was right. She was quite capable of keeping up. "Why do we need all of this stuff, anyways?" she asked after about an hour of walking.

"Well, the food and water is obvious. We have so much extra just in case. Never hurts to have extra. Who knows, we might need it. The sleeping bags are, obviously, to sleep in. There's a lot of stuff that I'll use for my goal in Ferina. The hiking sticks are to make the going a bit easier on us. There's a lot of useful things like flashlights, pepper spray, emergency radios, basically a lot of stuff to get us out of bad situations. As for the wire, well, you'll learn that tonight. Now, let's try and pick up the pace a bit. The faster we move, the better."

"What's the matter, Katai? Not afraid of Digglett, are you? Of course you're not, you love Poke'mon.... Right?" *Kazu looked at Katai suspiciously*

"I most certainly am not!! I just... Uhh..." *Katai kept mumbling on*

"Well, then, Digglett's cave seems a perfect place to train then ^^ let's go, guys!!" *Carter and Kazu headed for the cave, but Katai lingered back... Moving, but very slowly*

"C'mon, Katai, or do you want to be left out here?" *Kazu yelled over his shoulder as he approached the entrance of the cave*

"N-n-n-n-no!!! Wait up, Carter!! I'm c-c-c-coming!!" *Katai studdered, very strange for someone like Katai. She ran up to the cave and blinked" *It's knida... D-d-d-d-dark in h-h-h-here.... I d-d-don't like the d-d-d-dark..." *Katai stumbled around on tip-toes and, of course, tripped.* "Oww!! That hurt!!" *Katai stood to her feet and waved her arms around trying to find Kazu and Carter*

"Kazu? Carter? Where are you? Do any of you have a flash light? I can't see... Oh, here it is!" *Katai pulled a green thing out of her back-pack and pushed a button. It was a very ugly flash light that barely worked, it seemed.* "Guys? Hey, that's not funny!! Get over he.... AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!" *Katai noticed them sitting behind a rock apparently to freak her out, but then she saw something else with the light on... A whole wave of Diggltt!!!* "Oh, crap crap CRAP!!!"

"*Katai ran over and hid behind Kazu and Carter* "I have a confession to make... I don't l-l-l-like d-d-d-digglett very much...." *Katai looked over Kazu's shoulder at the hidious creatures* "They... They scare me...." *Katai went back to hiding*

".....Some training this turned out to be." *Kazu looked slightly annoyed at Katai, but not mean, just a little testy.*

"I... Um, I dont think that... EEEEKKK!!!" *Katai saw a Digglett pop up right underneath her and she jumped onto Kazu's back "GET IT AWAY!!! SHOO, EVIL DEMON, BEGONE!!!!"

"........ Ka-tai.... Get off.... Me.... NOW" *Kazu said, trying to stay calm, but still almost yelling*

"But it's gonna.. AAHH!!!" *Kazu shoved Katai and she fell face-first into the mud and was facing.... A Dugtrio. Just her luck, no?* "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IT AWAY, EEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!" *Katai lept up so high, she held onto one of the stalagtights on the roof of the cave*

"Oh... My god... Did she just.... Jump up there?" *Carter looked up, and about 25 feet up was a screaming orange/green streak* "Didn't know she could... Jump that high..."

"Yeah, well, let's go. She'll follow us if she doesn't wanna get left here ALL ALONE WITH THE SCARY DIGGLETTS." *Kazu said the last part very loud so Katai could hear*

"Eeep! No, wait!! I'm coming!!" *Katai jumped down and landed on her feet* "AAHHH!!!" *Katai ran up and hid behind Carter, since he was closest* "Let's.... Get.... Outta... Here..." *Katai stumbled*

"Yes, I believe that would be the best thing. Let's go.... Uh, [I]train[/I] somewhere else." *Kazu looked dissapointed at not being able to train* "I think I'll go off on my own awhile, okay?" *Kazu said once they reached the end of the cave*

"I didn't mean to... Umm, I'm sorry." *Katai said to Carter and Kazu* "I just... I don't really like.... Them...." *Katai dug her foot in the ground as she appologized for ruining thier traning*

"...It's okay, it's not... Oh, don't cry, you didn't..." *Kazu siad to Katai* "We all have our.... Fears... And you'rs isn't any... Different..."

"Ummm.... You're really gonna hate me now, Katai, I kinda..." *Carter pulled a Poke'ball off of his belt and let out... A Digglett!!!!*

"AAAHHH!!! When did... Eeek!!! It's coming toward m-m-m-me...." *Katai looked nervous agian*

"I caught it when we were in the cave.... I'm sorry, I just..." *Carter returned it before it got too close to Katai*

[B][I][COLOR=Teal]Aura stood on the pier of Vermillion City. Charlia, Haunter, Howl, and Cinder, who was now a Quliava, stood behind her. She had just gotton back to Vermillion though. She had to do a little training with her uncle in Lavender Town. Her uncle Mar had been teaching her about Pokemon since she was two. She figured it would be right to train with him.

"Well," Aura said as she turned toward her Pokemon, "I suggest we go find the others." All of the Pokemon nodded as Aura started walking. She rarely kept her Pokemon in Pokeballs for some odd reason. They always seemed to be out and looking for a challenge.

In a little while, Aura and her Pokemon stummbled into Maura. She was the only one to be found. Aura let out a sigh.

"So," Aura said with a sad sounding voice, "They all went off in thier own directions to train." Maura nodded and then looked at Aura. Her black locket, with flames hugging the heart shape, caught her eye. It was slightly open and it had a picture inside.

"What's with the locket," Maura question as Aura looked at her. Aura quickly closed her locket and smiled. Howl wimpered and rubbed his head on Aura's hand. Aura slightly smiled.

"It's nothing," Aura said with a smile. Maura knew it wasn't nothing. She knew something was up. It was strange how Aura seemed like she knew Josh and how upset she seemed.

"Whatever you say," Mayra said as Shin dropped his ears. All the Pokemon started feeling bad for Aura for some odd reason. Aura was holding onto her locket. The picture inside was the same one she had lossly in her pocket. It was just smaller and in a heart shape.

"What do you say that we train together," Aura said as she dropped her locket, "It'll give your Pokemon a good work out. Mine are strong and ready to take on Josh again." Maura grinned at Aura. She liked the sound of that.

"Alright," Maura said with a grin, "You're on. Let's go over to that tall grass over there and train." Aura nodded and started running. Maura and the Pokemon started running after her. They could train until the others showed up and were ready to take on Aura's uncle, Lt. Surge.

Our moms were nurses, and our dads both went against each other in every league finals.. And our older sibs. were friends, too... And then the trajic accident happened..." *Katai blinked away tears*

"If I may... What happened, Katai?" *Aura questioned*

"..... No, I wouldn't bother you with my sob-story... Besides, Kazu and Carter have a... Gym.. To face..." *Katai sniffed*

"No, I don't mind... I want to hear.... It may help get him back if it has anything to do with TR..." *Aura said*

".... Okay. Well... When Satoshi and I were 5, a TR person came up to us (This was when they first started, and they only had about 20 members, including giovanni) and offered us, like Josh, unlimited Rare Candies if we joined, but we didn't have a Poke'mon, so they gave us a black poke'ball and said 'If you choose to join us, you must first catch a Poke'mon with that and then meet us here, at this beach, tommorow. We will register you and issiue you a uniform and items and rare candies.' And, of course, we joined. We each cuaght a Scither, and they gave us Metal Coats to evolve them. We had Scizors, then. We refused to use Rare candies or hurt Poke'mon, and we helped improve the facility so that Poke'mon we catch could be more comfortable and we convinced them to let us give them treats and stuff... So we improved TR, so really the onlyy bad thing it was while we were there was a thieving ring, but that don't matter so much considering what they do now... Well, TR decided to plant a trap to capture all the Poke'mon on Velencia Isle., my home town. Satoshi and I aggreed, but we made it CLEAR that we would use no weapons and we wouldn't catch the Poke'mon in the lab or our dad's. It would be really wrong to steal from you're own father. They aggreed, but behind my back they brainwashed Satoshi. Just like they did to Josh. And he... Planted a bomb on the island. TR captued so many rare Poke'mon that day, all our plans went caput. They no longer had room or money to take care of the Poke'mon, but that was the least of my worries... That day, I stood by waiting fo the plan to comence like always, and when the bomb blew, Satoshi was there to rescue me from the blast, but our families... they didn't die, but TR captured them. I don't know where they are now. They wanted to keep mom as a nurse, dad as a Trainer, and they could be gone now, for all I know... Well, I quit, having seen so many Poke'mon get hurt, and being orphaned, well, I didn't want to stay anymore. Well, my brother was all right, so he took care of me... We moved all over, but.... We never found a place to live... That's all my story, I guess. There is no happy ending. Satoshi is back, but my parents aren't. That's that. Satoshi isn't with TR anymore, but still... That doesn't make all this go away." *Katai said all this fairly fast, taking few breaths and no breaks.*

"You are the only one I've told this. I hope it helps. Goodbye." *Katai walked away*

*Kazu had come back to heal his Poke'mon, and he saw Katai and heard everything. He didn't mean to eavesdrop, but he couldn't very well come in and interuppt her, then she'd know he heard.* "Wow, poor kid... Didn't know all that happened to her... I guess that's when she got all those badges... Well, now I know why she is so..... Strange..." *Kazu mumbled to himself*

"You'd be strange too, ya know ^^ It's not easy." *Katai stepped out from behind him with a smile on her face. Not a fake plastered on smile, but a real smile*

" I didn't mean... No, I know, I just..." *Kazu was practically kicking himself for saying anything out loud, he doesn't normally talk to himself*

"Oh, no, I don't care that [I]you[/I] know. I just don't want you guys' pity or anything. Well, how about we be training buddies for a while? C'mon, I have a great place to train!! (Matbe we'll find Carter, think?)" *Katai grabbed his hand and practically dragged him to her favorite training place*

"I used to train here all the time before... Yeah, well ^^ I love this spot. C'mon!"

It was getting late, so Rorohiko pick out a place to camp for the night. After eating, Rorohiko took the wire and strung it around their campsite. He looped it around twice, and on it he put anything he could find that would stay. "If anyone comes close, they'll make a hell of a racket," he explained. "We'll be sure to wake up."

The two of them rolled out their sleeping bags and crawled in. "You know," Mizu said, "for someone who's as dangerous as you say you are, you're not bad."

"You're not too bad yourself. Extremly weird, but not bad."

"Glad you think so. Good night."

"Good night." [i]She really looks a lot like Katrina,[/i] Rorohiko added silently. [i]I wonder how Katrina's doing? Been a long time scince I saw her. Hope she's doing well.[/i] Eventually, both Rorohiko and Mizu drifted off to sleep.

After all of the attacks were finished, there was a seeded half-dead Raichu (Maple had trained a lot) and a paralyzed half-dead Ivysaur.

"I think we've got it all under control," Kazu said as Maple tackled a Nidorina. Aura gave everyone a thumbs up. They were all working at as a team and that was great. TR was going to go down quicker then they thought. Howl suddenly pushed Aura out of the way of something. Aura looked at where she had been standing as Howl started to growl. There was a huge burnt mark where she had been.

"My only threat and Charizard misses," Josh said as him and Charizard walk out of the shadows. Charlia landed next to Aura, Howl continueed to growl in front of her, Haunter floated to the other side of her, and Cinder ran to the other side of Howl. Josh slightly snickered.

"Josh," Aura said as she stood up, "I'm glad you think I'm a threat, but the only threat here is TR. Can't you see that they are trying to make you hurt your Pokemon and other people's Pokemon. I remember when you said you wanted to be a Pokemon Master. Train your Pokemon so that you could also be Legue Champion and I told you I would take the title from you." Josh froze. Everyone quickly looked at him. Could of Aura stuck a nerve? A TR member suddenly ordered his Golbat to attack Aura. Aura hit the side of the boat. Josh snapped out of his trance like state as Charlia, Howl, and Cinder roasted the Golbat.

"Hey you," Josh said as he angerily pointed at the TR member who attacked Aura, "You'll pay for that. She's mine you understand. Only I'm allowed to do something like that. Show him Charizard!" Charizard suddenly used a Fire Blast on the TR member. Aura stummbled to her feet with Katai and Maura's help. All four of her Pokemon clammered in front of her as everyone else took a stand. Aura was standing in the middle with her Pokemon front and center, Katai was standing to her left with her Pokemon left of Aura's, Kazu was standing next to her with his Pokemon next to her's, Maura standing to Aura's right with her Pokemon right of Aura's. and Carter was standing next to her with his Pokemon next to her's.

"I'm glad you still care Josh," Aura said as her Pokemon tension grew, "or was that a sick way of claiming a piece of property." Josh slightly smiled. Everyone was confused at this. What did he have on his mind now.

"Actually," Josh said as he looked at Aura, "I still do care, but as long as you're with them, I'm ordered to hurt you and you're Pokemon. Join me please. We can be together again. I do dearly miss you Aura." Aura looked a little shocked, but something came to her. The outside wasn't the same Josh she knew, but deep down there was. Aura suddenly started walking toward Josh.

"Aura," Katai said as she gripped her fist, "are you nuts? You're not actually going to join TR, are you?" Aura didn't respond. She just kept on walking over to Josh. Her Pokemon slowly following her. She suddenly reached Josh and he put his arm around her waist.

"Now," Josh said as he slightly looked at Aura, "don't you feel better? I'll inform my boos of your desicion right after I'm done here. In the meantime, do you want to help me out?" Aura thought for a moment and grinned. Everyone didn't like where this was going. Aura actual looked mean.

"Oh course," Aura said as she put her head on Josh's shoulder, "Go Charlia, Haunter, Howl, and Cinder. Go help Josh's Pokemon out." Josh slightly grinned and took all of his Pokemon out as Charizard, Charlia, Haunter, Howl, and Cinder got front and center. Kazu and Katai looked at each other as Carter and Maura did the same. They all looked back at Aura. She had betrayed them and now they have to deal with her Pokemon. Josh was a big enough threat, but adding Aura was just down unbeatable. What were they going to do?

Yes you guys have to battle Aura's four Pokemon and they are so strong because of the major TR booty they were kicking. You also have to deal with Josh's. Don't worry, Aura's not "joining" TR. Ok, she is, but she's an inside spy. She's putting on an act guys. Don't worry, she'll join back up with you guys at the league. Also, no one knows she's putting on an act though. OOC: Again, I'd just like to say that if everyone's Pokemon are so powerful in so short a time, then Rorohiko's Absol, which he's had for five years, is extremly tough, and, if we're going by levels (which I don't think works well in RPGs), then Absol's be at or a couple levels below 100 (Remember, it's his only Pokemon, and he's had it for five years). Just thought I'd make sure you all knew that.

They made very good time, Rorohiko and Mizu. The ourney to Ferina took a couple of days, quick considering the distance. Of course, Rorohiko knew that the cult would be moving just as fast. They would be about a day behind, and Rorohiko would need every minute of that time to accomplish the two tasks he had in Ferina. FIrst came Jirachi, then Rorohiko would see to his other task.

Durring the journey to Ferina, Mizu had, at Rorohiko's urging, captured an Arcanine that they encountered along the way. "It's fast, and you can ride on it," was Rorohiko's explination.

The two of them stood at the entrance to an underground tunnel. "Here's the situation," Rorohiko said. "As soon as we enter that tunel, the Absol protecting Jirachi will be coming for us. Don't ask me how it knows when someone enters, because I don't know, although I hopefully will by the time we're leaving Ferina.

"The tunnel is quite long, and I don't want that Absol to be harmed. That's where the Arcanine you caught comes in. You'll be riding it through the tunnel. I'll be on my Absol-and I'd again like to stress that I don't think of it as mine, I just don't know any better words to use."

"Yes, I know," Mizu replied. "You only say that like every five seconds. Now, please continue."

"My Absol's used to my weight, and so will be able to run at full speed with me on him. Your Arcanine's not used to your weight, which will slow it down to probably about the speed of my Absol. The Absol protecting Jirachi will be moving at the same speed.

When we go in there, we need to keep moving until we get to the large open area. Jirachi will be there, so look for a crystaline object about this big." He indicated a size about that of Jirachi. "That's Jirachi when he's hibernating. An easy capture, but use one of the Ultra Balls we bought anyways, just in case. I'll deal with the Absol. Ready?"

She nodded. "Ready."

"Wilder Wein."

"What?"

"A phrase in some other language," Rorohiko explained. "I don't know what language, and I have no clue what it means. It's kind of a good luck thing. I don't really believe in that sort of thing, but my philosiphy is that if it's no beent prooven inefective, there's no harm in using it."

"Makes sense."

"All right, then. Enough delaying. We're not getting paid by the hour. Let's do this."

*Katai looked down at her hurt Beedrill* "I promised I wouldn't let this happen to you..." *Katai began to walk forward into the battle, almost getting hit by a double-thunder AND and double-fire blast, dodged by a papers' width* "....I..... Promised...."

"She's gone.... *Cough* Insane..." *Kazu looked at Katai, walking toward Aura and Josh*

*Katai kept looking down, so noone could see her expression, but she almost got hit by a flying Pikachu. She jumped, caught it, landed on the railing and kicked off, landing directly in front of Aura*

"What the hell do you think you're..."

*Katai raised her hand and SLAPPED Aura... Hard!* "No, new question, what the hell do you think YOU'RE doing???!!!" *Katai lifted her head revieling the most angry, sad, and frustrated face on the whole ship*

"I don't care HOW much you care about him, NO man is worth all the trouble TR causes!! Not Josh, not ...... Not even Satoshi!! Remember the Aura I talked to? The one who would do ANYTHING for the old Josh back? Well, I do. And if you're just gonna throw away everything that you and him had before for TEAM ROCKET of all people, then I don't think you deserve Poke'mon! Or all you're friends!!! Or even Josh himself!!!! You can HAVE this lame, brainwashed Josh, but I think all the rest of us want our old friend back... I know I do..."

"I.... What? I didn't... NO!" *Aura fell to the ground and started to cry, but stopped herself*

"HAH!! You think you can get me to quit TR? Well, you're in for a big surprise, little missy....." *Josh stopped in mid-sentence, cut off by Katai*

"And YOU!!!" *Katai reached out and grabbed his coller and started to yell even louder at him*

"YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST MAKE AURA JOIN YOU???!!! DON'T YOU CARE ABOUT HER???!!! YOU, OF ALL PEOPLE, SHOULD KNOW SHE'S NOT THAT THICK!!!" *Katai relesed him and looked up to blink the tears out of her eyes, not a good time to cry, really. But then.... She saw a streak of.... ORANGE!!!*

"Satoshi?" *Katai remaned where she stood, but looked over her shoulder at her friend*

"Hear you need some help, no? Well, in that caes, go, Tentacruel!! Oh, you too, Scizor!! (Ivy let me keep my Poke'mon ^^) Water gun!! Then waterfall!! Scizor, finish them with fury swipes and get the Eevee with a Metal Claw!!" *Satoshi stood on the railing, and jumped off, landing right beside Katai*

"You're here!! Oh, Satoshi..." *Katai hugged him around the waist (Hey, she only comes up to about his chest!! The kid's tall!! Katai's pretty short, too...)*

"You think you can beat me? Well, you're.... Hey.. You're that A-rank TR member that quit yesterday... PKMN lvs, 78, 85, 92, 70, 80, and... Well, none know you're last PKMN. That strenth isn't fair play!" *Josh stepped back and fell next to Aura*

"Oh, isn't it? Not one Rare Candy, kid. I'm totally legit. Don't judge, kid." *Satoshi's PKMN laid waste to all the others*

"You go, Satoshi!!" *Katai cheered him on, still holding on to him*

"Yes. Thank you, Katai." *Satoshi put his arm aroun Katai's shoulders*

"Josh... I'm... Sorry... But I can't just... NO!!" *Aura put her arms around Josh's neck, pulling him down* "I can't... Just *Sniff* Let you go again..."

"..... Aura..." *Josh's medicine stuff wore off for a moment there, but it came back quickely* "Well, againts lv 92, I've no chance. Smell ya later, loosers" *Josh was gone before we could stop him*

"No!!! Come back!!! Please... Don't go..." *Aura started to cry*

"We'll get him back... Katai let go of Satoshi, seeing as it only seemed to make Aura feel worse, and Katai walked over to her, Spore and Charlia at her side* "None of us are mad at you. We just want to help... I know how this feels more to anyone.. You know, thanks to Satoshi."

"My que to leave. Well, bye then, Katai." *He was gone just as fast as Josh*

"... Bye. C'mon, Aura, let's go to our rooms. To... Thimk over all of what happened today." *Katai turned her back on everyone and headed to her room on the other side of the ship*

"Why... Does she always run... Off... Right when I want to ask her something...?" *Kazu stood with Carter's help*

"What do you want to ask her, Kazu?" *Carter asked*

"I... Well, just why she's so... Strange... And how her friends have impecible timing, and Katai has no sense of what day of the week it is. Just strikes me funny." *Kazu smiled a bit* "Also, we need a nurse..."

"You're right. I'll go get Katai." *Carter put his hand in his pocket and walked in the direction Katai left*

*When he got to her room, her door was partly open, so he looked in*

"I dont... *Sniff* Why me? Why Aura? And Josh, and Satoshi? Maybe... I should go back and make TR right again... I'm the only one left who can... I'll call Satoshi, I'm sure he'd help... And *Sniff* I might find... My family..."

"No, don't go, Katai!! They'll do to you what they did to Josh and You're friend!!" *Carter opened the door to see Katai sitting on the edge of her bed*

"What? Carter, are you eavesdropping?!" *Katai stood and walked over to him*


"No... I just, ah... Overheard..." *Carter blushed and stumbled on his words*

"Just like Kazu, no? Well, I guess you and Maura are the only ones let that haven't heard my story. Come, sit." *Katai and Carter sat on the edge of her bed and Katai told her story*

"I'm... So sorry... I didn't know..."

"Ah, it's okay. 'Happened a long time ago, anyways." *Katai wiped her face with her sleeve*

"No, it's not! I'll help you get you're family back! I promise you that, Katai!" *Carter stood in front of Katai, a rare determined look on his face*

"Okay, let's go back and get all those PKMN healed ^^ 'Kay?" *Katai put on her vest and grabbed her first aid kit*

"..... Okay....." *Carter followed her* "Thank you for sharing you're past with me, Katai."

" ^^ Hehe, no prob', Cart!"

[B][I][COLOR=Teal]Perfect! This gives me a chance for my plot to thicken. :laughs evily: What? Also, I'm sorry if this next post sounds too mushy. I'll make up for it in my next post. It all has a purpose though.

Aura layed on her bed hugging her pillow. She really wanted to go with Josh so she could get some info. Howl was the only Pokemon out of his ball and he was asleep on the floor next to her bed.

"Oh Josh," Aura mummbled as she hugged the pillow more. Howl suddenly perked his head as a tap came at Aura's window. Aura jumped up and looked toward her window. It was Josh! Aura quickly ran to the window and opened it.

"Hey Aura," Josh said as he sat on his Charizard, "You still want to join me? I've already informed my boss." Aura thought for a moment and looked back at howl. Howl was softly growling. Aura shhok her head and looked back at Josh.

"Oh course," Aura said with a grin, "What do I have to do?" Josh grinned as well and looked at his watch. He then nodded his head upward.

"Meet me on the top deck," Josh said as Charizard stopped and started flying upward. Aura quickly closed her window, grabbed her backpack, grabbed her Pokeballs, and started running. Howl quickly ran after her.

In a few mintutes, Aura and Howl made it to the top deck. Josh and Charizard were standing by the rail waiting for them. Josh suddenly spoke up.

"Return your Houndoom," Josh said as he started to climb back onto Charizard's back, "send out your Charizard, and follow me." Aura nodded, returned Howl, and sent Charlia out. She then got on Charlia's back.

"Lead the way Josh," Aura said with confidence. Josh nodded and Charizard took off. Aura slightly nudgged Charlia and she took off after Charizard. The two Charizard's were soon side-by-side.

A few hours later, Charizard and Charlia landed on the banks of Slateport. The sun was completely out of sight and the moon was high in the sky. Both Aura and Josh slid off thier Charizards.

"TR has a base here," Josh said as he walked up to Aura, "and my boss will meet you there. I think he'll be pleased with your skills as a trainer." Aura nodded as Josh grabbed her hands. Aura turned redder then howls muzzle and looked toward the moon. It was shining brightly and it refected off the water so beutifully. A slight sigh escaped Aura's lips.

"Not to get off subject," Aura said as she looked back at Josh, "but isn't the view romantic." Josh actually nodded his head in agreement. Aura was shocked, but even more shocked when Josh pulled her face closer and kissed her on the lips. Charlia and Charizard sat and waited. They looked sort of happy. Josh suddenly stopped and Aura licked her lips. A slight smiled crossed Josh's face.

"Now," Josh said as he started leading Aura away from the shore, "shall we go meet the boss?" Aura nodded and picked up her pace to keep up with Josh. Both Charizards quickly followed.
