RPG Spirit Key: Beyond the Gate (PG-13+)

[center][size=2][color=purple][b]I forgot to mention that this RPG will be rated PG-13. It might go into a higher rating than that, but I'm not sure. (Just playing it safe.) Now that I'm finished with this announcement, on to the RPG.[/b][/color][/size][/center]

[center][color=plum][font=Book Antiqua][size=2]These are just some of the elements that make up this universe. On some planets, like Earth, all of the elements combine to make one whole. With no one element ruling over the others. But on other planets, like Nyghtlok - a planet occupied by living shadows known as the Shade - All other elements have been extinguished except for one. On this type of planet, the keys were created. The Spirit keys. Keys to open up a gate that is rumored to have been built on no planet, but in the very middle of space itself - inside of a dark nebula. But what lies beyond this gate? Heaven? Hell? Weapons or Treasure? No one knows, because the gate remains unopened. The planets have constantly fought to gain control of the other's Spirit Key. But no one has ever come close to owning even a second key. That is, until now. The only two elemental planets without keys were Nyghtlok, and Novion - the planet of light. But Novion contained something that the Shade king of Nyghtlok, Viros, desired very badly. The exact location of all the Elemental Spirit Keys. King Viros soon destroyed Novion after he managed to obtain this information. But it soon became useless to him. The planets that contained the keys sent them away across the galaxy in their Spirit form to sleep in a random soul. With Novion gone and with no one to stand in King Viros' way, it will only be a matter of time before he is able to gather all of the keys. If the Spirit Key has anything to do with it, however, the king will not succeed in his mission. She has already begun to search for the other Spirit Keys in a small high school on a place called Earth?[/size][/font][/color][/center]

[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=plum][i][b]Caley yawned. It was another boring day at Antares High in the town of Novile. She looked at the clock. The teacher was late as usual. Caley thought of going to sleep but decided against it since she had been caught last time. She looked around the room to see what everyone else was doing. Odell, her ex-boyfriend, was flirting with one of the cheerleaders, of course; A couple of desks to Caley's left side, was Hiroshi, or Hiro-chan as she called her. Her supportive, but shy and nerdy twin sister. Hiro-chan was always there for her, and Caley always tried to pay her back by setting her up with a guy but Hiro-chan told her that she doesn't feel comfortable around boys. Caley took it the wrong way and tried to set her up with a girl this time, but that just embarrased Hiro-chan even more.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font][/left]
[left][b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"I hope she'll open up one day." Caley thought.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b][/left]
[left][b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]Caley felt something poke her and she turned to her right. It was her girlfriend, Zet, trying to get her attention. Zet was sweet but a bit of a nerd like Caley's sister, which is probably why they hang out and talk about books so much. Zet was dumped by Odell, just like Caley was. When Caley got to know Zet, she knew they were right for each other, she didn't care if her girlfriend happened to be a nerd or if the more popular girls made fun of her about it. Zet held a note out to her and she took it and read it. Once she was finished reading it, she wrote a reply on the back, folded it up, and handed it back to her girlfriend. Before Zet could read it though, the teacher walked into the classroom. Zet stuffed the note in her pocket. Mr. Adam Delling, their teacher, stood in front of his desk and cleared his throat.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b][/left]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Students, I'd like you to welcome a new member to Antares High school who has just recently moved to this town. Ms. Lily White."[/color][/size][/font][/left]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd][i][b]A black-haired girl around Caley's age walked into the classroom. Caley didn't know what it was about her, but she seemed warm and friendly, like no matter what she would make you feel happy inside.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font][/left]
[center][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd][i][b]And then she smiled.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font][/center]
[center][b][/b][/center]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd][i][b]That took care of anyone ever treating her the like the new students get treated at this school. In the back, Caley heard a wolf call whistle. She knew instantly that it was Odell - that pig. For some reason, Kaley had a feeling that they were going to become friends. She couldn't wait to talk to her during lunch.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font][/left]

[left][b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]At lunchtime, Caley sat down in her usual spot, inbetween her sister and her girlfriend. She looked around for the new girl, but she didn't see her anywhere. She grabbed her fork and started eating her food.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b][/left]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"So...what do you guys think of the new girl?" She asked her sister and her girlfriend.[/color][/size][/font][/left]


[left][b][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=purple]OOC: Before we go off on some adventure, all of our characters need to get to know Lily White in some way.[/color][/size][/font][/b][/left]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]Hiroshi shrugged and just munched at her apple. "I wasn?t really paying attention....I was too worried about my Maths homework."
"Figures...." Zet said jokingly, taking a bite of her chocolate bar.
Hiroshi shrugged and reached down to her bag, taking out her Maths book.
"Oh, come on, Hiro-chan!" Caley laughed. She put her hand over her sisters Notebook and pulled it away. "You can do that at home, now is the time to relax...."
"Relax?" Hiroshi asked sarcastically, "What?s that?"
Zet rolled her eyes and Caley just laughed, "I really wouldn't be surprised if that was a serious question, sis!"
Hiroshi nodded and smiled, taking another bite of her apple, "Well, I'm off to the Library!" she said standing up and collecting her books together. She pushed her glasses up her nose and set off down the corridor to her and Zet's sanctuary.
She sniffed, 'Ah, the smell of moth eaten books, how I love it!'
Hiroshi couldn't figure out why she had to be so shy, she could be funny when she wanted to but she couldn?t even open up properly to her own sister! She shook her head and rounded a corner to the fiction section but she hit an obstacle.
The girl she had hit winced and fell, as did Hiroshi, they both started gathering the books they had dropped and said, "Sorry" at the same time.
Horishi stood up and blushed slightly, "You don?t have to apologise," she said nervously, "I wasn't concentrating."
"Oh, don't worry," the girl replied in a soft tone. "Everyone day dreams."
Hiroshi nodded and pushed her glasses back up her nose again, then she squinted leaning in closer to the girl.
"Hey, aren?t you that new girl? Lily White?" she asked shrugging her bag over her tired shoulder.
Lily nodded, "Yes, I came here to find out more about the school, but the Library is so big. I can?t seem to find the School Records section."
Hiroshi laughed slightly, "Well, you bumped into the right person, I know this place inside out." Hiroshi began to give Lily directions to the section she needed. When she was finished Lily bowed and Hiroshi smiled, "Enjoy your time here!" she said cheerily, "Oh yes, my sister, Caley, would like to talk to you. I think you have next lesson with her." Hiroshi rushed the last bit and then hurried out of the Library not even waiting for a thank you.
She sighed and leaned against a wall. "Well, that went....horribly...." she said to herself. 'Why can't I seem to make friends?' with this thought she wondered off to the Study Room to finish off her Maths homework, at least she wouldn?t be disturbed there.[/COLOR]

OOC: This is before imi's chara. left.
[COLOR=Green]" Don't really know yet. She didn't get to talk much. Mr.Delling just told us her name and made her sit down." Zet said in her soft vocie.
" Some teachers never change. He was like that with us remember Hiro-chan," Hiroshi nodded as she flipped through a book Zet had lended her," Hey Zet why can't you come over tonight? I had it all planned out and everything."
" I'm busy." Turning to her backpack and pulling out some paper, pens, and a twelth grade algebra text book. She set to work on the problems on the page she was working on.
" Your still doing homework for bullies! Come on Zet, you need to stand for yourself!"
"Its not like she doesn't like it Caley. Let her do what she wants. Its her life." Hiroshi said looking up from the book.[/COLOR]

OOC: This is in the morning, for all of you after lunch posters.

Ramriez snored at his desk, asleep. It was getting time to start class, but he didn't mind. He just wanted to sleep. Someone tapped his head with a pencil, and he flew upward, saying, "I wasn't sleeping. I was,... uh... looking for my textbook, yeah." Everyone laughed, and he grinned as he picked up his bookbag. The teacher, Mr. Adam Dwelling, said, "This is our new student, Lily White." Ramriez thought, "Well, nobody is gonna make fun of her." He hear a wolf cry and silently laughed. It was Odell. Lily just smiled, and Odell shuted up.

Mr.Dwelling called on Ramriez and asked a science question, which was, "Why do people turn into vegtables?" And Ramriez replied, "Because they didn't eat their green beans? Ok ok, Its because of massive trama, or hemmoraging can do this. Drugs can also cause hemmoraging." Happy that Ramriez got it right, he told them they could go. It was lunch period, so everyone grabbed their SNAP cards (they use electronic cards at my school) and headed to the cafeteria. Ramriez bumped into Lily and said, "Sorry. By the way, the name is Ramriez. Lily, right? Well, I better get to the lunchroom. See ya." And headed off.

Ramriez sat down at the table that was empty. He may not be mocked, but that didn't mean he had friends. Lily passed his table and he sighed. He was gonna have a hard time in high school here. [/COLOR][/SIZE][/I]

[COLOR=Green]Zet had finshed the homework and stood up putting everything back into her backpack.
" Where you off to Zet?" Caley said smiling.
" I'm going to the Library to get my book back from Hiroshi."
" Knew it you can't stay away from any of books for more than an hour can you?"
" Nope I guess not. See you in later."
Zet walked quickly to the Library and smilied when she reached the large oak doors. Good I got her insidents free. Sliding throgh the open doors she walked towards the back. As she looked down the isles of books she noticed the new girl looking at a book. She walked towards her.
" Hi, Mr.Dwelling didn't give you much time to talk did he."
" No, but I don't mind. My name's Lily White, you probley already knew that though. So what's your name?"
" Its Zet, Zet Sumei. Nice to meet you. I'd better go I have to get something."
Zet turned and walked to the Study Room figuring Hiroshi would be there.[/COLOR]

[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=plum][i][b]After Zet and Hiro-chan left, Caley ate her lunch in silence. That silence didn't last to long, however. Odell's new "fling", Elise, came up to her table and before she even opened her mouth, Caley knew she wanted to start some trouble.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Hi, Caley. Odell told me that he sends you his love." [i][b]Elise said.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Tell him he shouldn't give away something he doesn't have." [b][i]Caley replied, not even looking up at Elise.[/i][/b][/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"So why do you always hang out with those two bookworms? They should go back underground where they belong." [i][b]Elise's lips curled back in a wicked smile.[/b][/i][/color][/size][/font]
[b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]Caley stood up from the table and turned to Elise. She could hear Odell laughing from his table.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"I don't know why I hang out with them. But why does a b**** like you hang around here? Why don't you go back to the pound where you belong?"[/color][/size][/font]
[b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]Elise gasped, but Caley knew she wasn't going to give up yet. So she pulled one of her favorite tactics. She grabbed Elise by the arms and kissed her. Elise dropped her tray and covered her new shoes with cafeteria grease. Caley walked out of the cafeteria. She stopped by Odell, grabbed him by the shoulder, and whispered in his ear.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Why aren't you laughing now, Odell? Is it because now someone else knows how much of a horrible kisser your girl friend is?"[/color][/size][/font]

[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Yeah, people think just because you're twins, you have to look exactly alike. And I did want to see you. I just wanted a chance to talk and get to know you. And maybe warn you about some people you should avoid."[/color][/size][/font][/left]
[left][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]"Alright, but I don't avoid people. I like to give evryone a chance. Anyways, you'll have plenty of time to get to know me, because I'm inviting a bunch of people over to my house tomorrow, after school. Could you hand these out for me?"[/color][/size][/font][/left]

Amy Pohler was the perfect image of bored at the exact moment. Her head leaning on the palm of her hand, eyes half closed and mouth open only a bit. In her free hand she was tapping a pencil on the desk, while that cow Odell tried to hit on her again.

"Hey, Amy! What are you doing this Saturday night?" He asked, leaning closer to her desk.

"Chopping off the heads of all the guys I invited for a date. Wanna come?" She replied dryly, not even aware of the disgusted look on his face as he turned back around. Amy's out-of-focus eyes suddenly brightened up again as her best friend, Elle, prodded her in the back and pointed to the front of the room.

"Students, I'd like you to welcome a new member to Antares High school who has just recently moved to this town. Ms. Lily White." Mr. Delling announced, gesturing to the new girl infront of him. Instantly, Amy took a liking to her. Noting that class did not start for few more minutes [i]for a teacher being late, he still manages to come early,[/i] she thought to herself as she gently rose from her seat to greet Lily. Odell did his amazingly shallow and annoying wolf call as Amy caught her as she was walking down the aisle to find her new seat.

"Hi!" Amy greeted in her normal cheerful way, extending her hand out. "My name is Amy Pohler." Lily smiled and returned the gesture, greeting her in a similar manner. Amy was just about to ask her if she liked the school yet, when a girl, Denise, one of the many girls who thought themselves as Amy's friend, pushed her way through.

"Amy! How is my best friend today?" She asked, loudly, obviously trying to make sure that Amy didn't pay more attention to Lily then herself.

"Your what?" Amy asked rhetorically, laughing slightly. Denise, obviously quite taken aback, walked back to her seat, and by the looks of it, sobbing.

"Sorry, Lily. You'll be suprised to know I have more poser friends then real ones." Amy told the new girl jokingly. Lily smiled and was about to tell Amy something, when Mr. Denning announced it was the time to start lessons.

Amy sat next to Elle and her boyfriend (OOC: If no one is going to be him soon, I'll make up a name.) and a few of her poser friends at lunch. All the 'fake friends' were talking animatedly to Amy, who simply igored them and continued talking to Elle.

"So, Amy, is the new girl nice?" Elle asked, taking a bite of her sandwich.

"Oh, yeah, from what I have seen so far." Amy replied, nibbling on her peanut butter and jelly. She watched as Hiroshi Ochen, her friend Caley's twin sister, walked out of the lunch room to the library.

"I feel so bad for that girl, Hiroshi. If she'd try a bit more, I bet she could have a lot of friends." She told Elle sympathetically, who nodded in agreement and the pair continued their lunch, still ignoring everything the posers were saying quite comically to all that walked by them.[/COLOR][/SIZE]

[b][i][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=#dda0dd]They all laughed and Caley leaned over kissed Zet on the cheek.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b]

She wasn't as shy as her sister was about changing in front of other people. She grabbed her gym outfit and decided to go look for Lily and see if she wanted to play on the same team as her sister and her girlfriend. She ran into Amy Pohler, another one of her friends, on the way. Caley knew all about Amy's trouble with her "fake" friends and she was glad that she wasn't one of them.[/color][/size][/font][/i][/b][/left]

Evan sat, reclining on the bleachers that overlooked the school playing field. His bag sat beside him and he stretched languidly, cracking his neck and knuckles. Movement down on the field caught his attention and he leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees to watch the girl gym class file out from the changing rooms. He watched the girls warm up with curious grey eyes, his sharp gaze resting upon the small form of a girl he hadn't seen before. Raising a dark eyebrow he scratched the back of his head absently.

[i]She must be new[/i], he mused to himself and he decided to to go down and get a closer look. He smirked to himself as he stood

"Let's go say hi Evan."

Grasping his bag he slung it over one shoulder and trotted down to the edge of the field. Standing at the side-line he whistled as Caley jogged past him.

"Hey kiddo! How's that girl of yours? 'Cause you know I'm always ready to lend a hand!" He winked and clicked his tongue at her, smirking at her irritated expression. Watching her run over with an amused expression plastered over his features, he folded his arms across his chest and grinned.

"What do you want Evan?" Her indignance was palpable.

"Aww hey, you know I love you, I love both of you..hell I'd love all three of you if you'd give me the chance." Seeing an unreadable expression cross her face he waved his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay..I just wanted to know who that new girl was, completely innocent," he gave a three fingered saltue jauntily, "Scouts honour."

[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue][I]So many people... How will I..?[/I] She left the thought unfinished - it had bombarded her the moment she had walked through the school doors, and it obviously wasn't helping. Kneeling down to retie her shoes, she watched as the class was separated into teams. Caley had gone to talk to someone at the edge of the field. She also identified Hiroshi, Zet, and Amy on the field. Looking for others that she could recognize, her concentration was broken by the teacher's voice.

"Lily! Could you come over?"

She quickly ran over, loving the smell of the grass, "Yes?"

"Since you're new, this first time you'll be able to choose which team you'd like to be on."

"Oh, well, alright," Lily smiled, brushing her hair behind her ear. "Is it alright if I'm on Caley's team?"

The teacher nodded, and she went to stand by the others.

"Hey, you're new right?"

She looked over, and saw a boy whispering to her. He looked like a freshman.

"Yes, I'm new. It's my first day today," she answered.

"Oh, well, I'm Peter. Do you have any classes with my brother?"

"I don't know. Who's your brother?"

He pointed to where Caley was standing next to a boy, "That's my brother, Evan."

Hiroshi's voice interrupted, "Lily, are you on our team?"

Lily nodded and smiled, "Oh, yes, I guess I am. Thanks so much for helping me out today. Will you be coming tomorrow?"[/COLOR]

Ramriez looked around for the new girl, Lily. He hated it when he stared at her, for it was rather unkind. On the other hand, he couldn't help it. He was on the soccer team, and was just finishing. Seeing her, he grinned and walked over to her.
"Hey, do ya need a tour of the school? Hey, didn't I bump into you in the hall, on the way to lunch?"

"I'm fine, thanks. Hey, you wanna come to my party tommrow? Here are some directions and other stuff." Lily replied as she handed Ramriez an invation.

"Thanks! I almost never get invited to parties and stuff. Tommrow, right? Ok, see ya, I guess."

"Yeah, so, see ya." And Lily walked off. Ramriez just smiled. He was gonna go to the party and get to know people better, and try to make new friends. Ramriez was pretty much an unknown face in this school.

Ramriez sat down on a bench, seeing as he had an hour left. He pulled out a chocolate bar and started to snack on the treat. Ramriez looked up at the azurel and marble white sky, wondering if they were truly alone in the universe.[/COLOR][/I][/SIZE]

[COLOR=DarkOrchid]"Oh..." Hiroshi looked quite surprised. "You mean...come to [I]your[/I] party?"
Lily nodded, "Why, yes. Is there a problem?"
"N...no!" Hiroshi stammered, "It's just that....no ones over invited me to a party before."
"That's because you aren?t as confident!" Caley butted in as she grabbed her sister into a headlock.
"Caley! Let me breath!" Hiroshi gasped as her sister wrestled her to the ground.
The girls laughed and Hiroshi sat there looked confused, "Um...guys? I can't see..."
Lily looked down, "Oh?your glasses!" she said and picked them up. One of the lenses were broken and the arm was slightly bent. Hiroshi put them back on and frowned, "Great," she said, "Now I look like a geek and a moron...." she stood up and dusted herself off.
"Oh! Hiro-chan, I'm so sorry!" Caley quickly apologised, feeling guilty about breaking her sisters glasses.
"No no, it's okay, really." Hiroshi sighed.
She walked onto the field as the teacher called her, just then she heard a familiar voice,
"OY!! Specs!"
She turned round knowing who she would see
"Nice glasses, the look suits you! Dorky and sad!" it was Odell and his lackeys shouting insults from the bleachers.
Hiroshi sighed and ignored them, making her way onto the field to play football. Just before she made it to the centre she heard a laugh and a shout, "Think fast!"
She turned around and was hit by a speeding soccer ball right on the nose. She let out a cry and then collapsed into black. The last thing she heard was her sisters worried shouts before she fell unconscious.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Green]Zet picked up the ball next to her and threw it at Odell hitting him square in the face. Caley stared at her oddly, while Odell and his followers ran off.
" Zet, why did you.. I mean this is the first time I've ever seen you like this."
" Well, There is one person I can stand up to. And that would Odell."
She leaned down next to Hiroshi and toke a pulse. Looking back up at Caley and moving a stray hair out of her face she frowned.
" We should get her to Nurse."
" Okay you grap the head and I'll.."
Bafore Caley could finsh the gym teacher came over and said that he would take Hiroshi to the Nurse. Once he left Caley and Zet went back to the changing rooms to get ready for their next class. Lily walked up to Zet.
" Can you come to a get together I'm having at my place tommrow?"
" I guess, I'm not sure if I'll make it but I'll try."
" Thanks! Here's an invation with directions and stuff. I hope you make it."
After that Lily walked of to finsh changing. Zet had finshed and turned towards Caley.
" I guess I'll see you after advance algbra. Bye Caley!"
Zet headed for her class hopeing not to be late.[/COLOR]

[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=plum]"Hey, Zet. I'm going to Club Radix at the usual time if you want to come. I'm going to invite Lily to come as well. That way, we can get to know her a little better, okay?"[/color][/size][/font]

[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=plum]"Alright. I'll try to make it. But it all depends on how much homework I have tonight."[/color][/size][/font]
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][color=plum][b][i]Caley walked off to invite the rest of her best friends. She wished that Zet would not be ashamed to stand up to all of these bullies. Then she would have more time on her hands. Caley would be more forceful about telling her to stand up for herself, but she didn't like to force Zet to do anything, then she would be as bad as the bullies. Besides, Caley was afraid that maybe she wouldn't be there to protect her girlfriend if she got beaten up or something. Soon, she had invited everyone except for Lily. She found her at one of the school's recently unused lockers.[/i][/b][/color][/size][/font]

Evan jogged down the corridor his gaze firmly on Caley as he watched her move away. Raising his hand he called out to her as he dodged through the thronging crowds of people.

"Hey! Kiddo! Caley! Wait up!"

He caught up with her as she stopped to look for the voice. Slowing to a stop he punched her lightly on the arm and ruffled her hair. "Hey there, I saw what happened to Hiro. She okay?" He question was sincere as he spoke. Stuffing his hands into the pockets of his jeans he began to walk quickly alongside Caley, watching her intently. Her answer was distracted as she made her way to the nurses office.

"I don't know, that's what I'm trying to find out. Don't you have to pick up you little brother?"

Evan shrugged nonchalantly.

"He's a big boy, he can take care of himself." Evan chuckled as Caley rolled her eyes

Ramriez walked towards his locker, reciting the combonation in his head. He entered it, muttering, "12,32,20." When Lily, the girl who invited him to the party, walked up to him. He turned around and asked, "Hey, what are you doing here, I though you left." She responded, "Well, me and some other people are going to Club Radix tonight, and I was wondering if you wanted to come."

"Oh, well, before I say yes, who is comin? Not that it will change my mind."

" Its Zet, Hiroshi, and Caley who invited me. Dunno who else. Its at 7 tonight, see you there?"

"Yep. And thanks for the extension. See ya." And they headed to the busses.

Ramriez hopped off the bus to his house and went to work on his homework. He was finished in an hour and a half. It was about 5:30, so he put his stuff away and went to find something to drink. Ramriez swallowed a Pepsi, and got ready to go to Club Radix, getting the junk out of his Convertable, which he got as a gift from his parents when he recived his licence. Finally ready to go, he jumped into the car and started to Club Radix.[/COLOR][/I][/SIZE]
