James Struan is dead. He was, in theory, the most powerful man in the world. He owned Stuan's, a trading company whose assets reached far and wide, controlling more than any other single entity.

Normally, when the Tai-Pan of Struan's was retiring or died, he would have an heir lined up. This was not the case with James, for all of his family had died before him, and he had no children. His allies, the Ross' abandoned him, leaving Struan's headless and vulnerable.

He knew the situation of the house, the Noble House, and he decided their was only one thing he could do. Only one thing that the founder of the company, Dirk Struan would do. Upon his death, his lawyer had orders to send out invitations to selected elite young men and women to stay for 24 days in his island home, Fleetwood Junction.

He chose them each with great care, each of them posessing great talents in a wide variety of things. Each possessing vices that would make them weak in ways. James knew that to be the master of the Noble House, you had to have survived harsh contests, emotional events, and high levels of physical and mental pain. Each of them was picked to be a weakness to another, and Struan knew he had set up a very dangerous situation in the beautiful privater beachfront home.

When they arrived, they were all shown a video that James Struan had made before his death. He gave them the following message:

Welcome to Fleetwood Junction! I hope you are satisfied with this house, for one of you will be its owner on day 25. As you may know, the Noble House, Struan's Company, has no heir. After operating for nearly 250 years, Struan's is dead unless an heir can be found. You are here to compete for the right to be heir. You are here to fight for the right to guide the world's strongest and most far reaching corporation. Each of you is worthy, but only one can be Tai-Pan. May your luck be good, for I believe you will need it.

Everyone knew the Noble House, and the chance to be its master was like a siren's song, calling out to the ambitious hearts in all of them. Greed may overcome freindship, and the quest for power can destroy what is most important of all.

Basically your character is one of these young men and women who was invited to Fleetwood Junction. Don't worry, there is no focus on business or anything like that. This is a survival RP with a civil and polite coating. I want all sorts of things: murder, romance, intrigue, ect.

General Rules-

1. Grammar, syntax, and spelling must be good at all times.

2. Posting a signup does not ensure your selection at all, but please, feel free to give it a shot.

3. If you are male, be a male character and vice-versa.

4. If you want to kill somebody, you and I will need to have an AIM conversation about it. Murder is a part of this, but it must make sense.

5. In terms of romance, euphemistic sexuality is as far as I'd like it to go. This isn't a medium for writing pornography.

6. Remeber to do this with class, these aren't hicks, they are sophisticated "worldy" people.

[B]Biography[/B]: Estelle has lived in London her entire life. Because she thought the name Estelle was "older" than what she thought was suited for her taste, she had decided upon the nickname, Elle. She is usually light-hearted, though at times can be rather conspicuous. She also enjoys being a bit flirtatious when the moment calls for it. Some of her flaws include being impetuous with decisions, and becoming quite angered if not pleased quickly- in other words, impatient.

Bio: Imi was raised in England until she had finished school but then moved away to Japan to go live with her Grandparent. They were strict and raised her well, never letting her British accent go away. She loves computers and was classed as a nerd but she had a lot of friends. When she moved to Japan all of that was left behind, she had no friends and the only people she could talk to were her grandparents, who are now sadly dying of old age.
She is very serious and touchy about certain subjects, if someone says something she doesn?t like she will let them know about it. She is usually found on her laptop or reading a romance novel, she is still looking for that special 'someone'.
