Art Imi's fanart, the originality amazes me....

wow...those are all really good. Razor was my personal favorite. the hair was really good. Imric was really good too. the staff was great

Ro-k, some crit.

Your first pic:
I like the way you're drawing and shading the hair. In most cases, I find that hair is what most people have the most difficulty with. (In my opinion) The body is a bit off, especially his left forearm; his right hand looks a bit odd as well. I like that staff that you added and you did well on the shading for the clothes. His face is nice and symmetrical as well.

Le second pic:
Again, I like the hair on this one. It reminds me of Gojyo from Saiyuki for some reason, especially with that devilish look on his face. I would like to see a bit more shading on his face, some darker colours to pronounce more of the shadows, such as on his neck, by his ears? so on.

Last pic:
This one I don?t like as much as your first two, but it?s still good. Again, best part is his hair. His shoulders look a bit off; it may just be his left shoulder that?s throwing me off. His chin kind of disappears as does his left hand pointer finger. I like the shading you did on his pants and his blue shirt, the jacket isn?t as detailed but still pretty cool. You did well drawing his glasses and I like the buckle you added on the jacket.

All in all very nice. Keep up the good work! =^-^=

Imric: I really love the expression on his face - so...devilishly stunning. ;) Not to mention, as jacobian said, the staff is pretty sweet stuff. The only problem I have with it is his left arm... Something seems a bit...off? I dunno. Still, it's a cool pic, and way better than anything I could do. I'm so jealous! You can draw hands!!

Razor: Heehee, this picture makes me want to giggle. You're stylin there :p

Tomonori: Okay, I really loved the style of the letters and stuff, and I liked the overall picture. I thought you did really well on the little details like the wrinkles and shading. 'Repent' is awesome. :) Although, what happened to the lower part of his right hand? Did his fingers disappear?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Purple]Ah yes, my very weird style of drawing hands.
When I'm drawing a picture and the hand is down by the side, I get lazy and only draw the outline because I can?t be bothered to draw all the details of the hand.
It?s bad habit that I've gotten into but it seems to work for now.

Imric?s dreaded left arm, I know it looks weird, I think that was just another case of me getting too lazy and not really being awake enough to fix it.

I really love his hair. And his character design is beautifully done. He has very good hair job, since it's nice and flowing. I like the expression, and how the cross comes done to hang. You've done a really good job with the details in the beaded/chain hanging around her hand. A good job with the effect of things rapped in cloth. I like the muscle movements, and the staff.

You've gotten the hang of positioning the wrinkles in the clothing, but you need to work on how far they go into the center of the part. And how much the crease over. But this is the only problem I can see within this image. And it only arises within the upper most of the shirt.


[b]00 : 02 - Razor[/b]

First of all, I really love his expression. You've done a wonderfuljob with his eyes and the color of them. Allowing them to contrast with the rest of his color scheme. A fairly nice job on picking the color and shade of the guys skin. Also, the colors of the clothing and hair. A good job with shadowing and merging one color into another.

You need to work on stokes though. because you can see where you picked up the utensil and then went back down again. So, the coloring could have been smoother.

I've never seen Juvenile Orion, so I cannot comment on how close you've come within his character design.

I very much like the text you've done. It's goes really well with the over all picture, because it fits into how you've drawn the character and with the thing at the side. (No clue what it really is, but I have a guess) You did better with the wrinkles in this one. And I like his positioning. Nice job. =^-^=

Your work is great, except for some proportions and minor details. I'm assuming you're using color pencils?
Excuse me if I repeat some criticisms. Too lazy to read everything.
The first, Imric. The right arm in itself is alright, but in respect to the rest of the body it's off. If the shoulder is to be shown in that way, the body should be turned towards the arm and the left shoulder should come forward a bit. Stretch marks on the cloths aren't well defined, and his pants look... rather wrinkled. The arms are also rather thin. I love the shading and highlights of the hair and his clothes. It's a great design.

Razor: Neh, his head's a little flat... The highlights are well done on both his hair and clothes and I love his eye and smirk. The shadows could be a little darker and more defined to give a clear indication of a light source.

Tomonori: His head's a little big for his body, but it's nothing major. His right arm seems to be oddly attached to his body anatomically, as the rib cage should be a bit larger. The wrinkles in the clothing are angular and come to rather sharp points. The coloring is superb. Don't really know how well you emulated the character design, not having seen Juevenile Orion.
Well done indeed.

#1 hmmm....I like his hair and tail! But other wise, I dont really like him. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't. One thing is... I dont know why... :confused:
