Gaming Fav. characters in Bloody Roar and Soul Calibur and why.

I wanna know who's your favorite character ine Bloody Roar(if you at least know that game. Where I come from, where like five in the whol school who know what it is!) and also your favorite character from SoulCalibur and why. In Bloody Roar, my favorite character is Xion because I'm hard to beat with him, know almost all his moves and his beast drives are awesome!(he has white hair too. WHITE HAIT BISHIES ROCK!). In SoulCalibur, my fav. character is Nightmare(Siegfried. I heard that's his real name.) Maybe he's a little slow but his moves deals critical damage and he's just soooo cool! I luv his sword, Soul Edge complete too! It's soo freaky! :D

I tend to go through phases with characters, so i rarely have a fav. that lasts for very long.

I have -heard- of Bloody Roar, but I have never personally played it.
For the moment, I would say my favorite character is Voldo, he's managed to stay in my heart a long time... He's extremely strong once you get the hang of him, however.. the learning curve is quite steep, so many different idea's that you need to take in, as compared to basic button mashing of some other characters

It's kinda unfair, but my fav SC character is Link from Soul Calibur 2 for GCN. For obvious reasons. Otherwise, it's Cassandra, only because I played as her all the time. I like the sword/shield style she uses... it's very... gladiator..i..al... is that a word? She also has the most painful-looking grab in the game--where she takes her gladius and stabs it into the opponent's ankle, pinning him/her down, and then whacking him/her over the head with her shield. It's just mean.

Bloody Roar looked too crappy so I never picked it up, and neither did any of my friends. Although I only picked up SC2 because it had Link.

My current favourite character in SC2 would have to be Xianghua. I'm still getting used to her, but her fighting style is very fluidic, and has several useful feint moves and quick attacks. Other than that, I would go for Mitsurugi who, in contrast, has a much more rigid fighting style, with several powerful, yet still relatively fast, attacks. Then there's Taki with her annoyingly efficiently stab attacks.

[font=Arial][size=1][color=Indigo]I never played Soul Caliber, but I did play Bloody Roar. None of the sequals though, I could never find them. ^_^;

My fave character was Yugo, the wolf-dude. He was, like, the cheapest character there was, after the mole-guy, and had some awesome movies, especially in Beast Mode. Not to mention you could make him different colours depending on what costume you chose, etc. etc. And put him in the 'Big' Arena and you could play tennis with your opponent's limp body.

Second fave was Fox. Speed + power with some devastating attacks (speaking of which, Long's 20-something hit attack rocked). Her ending was pretty good too.[/color][/size][/font]

Obviously, my favorite BR character is...Busuzima! No, seriously, it's Xion. He just so damn cool. And in BR4 he can be really powerful. I have 3 and 4 and ordered 1 and 2 from Amazon. I should be getting them soon (yay!).

From SC, I'd have to say Mitsurugi, mainly because I'm best at him. Also, Samurai kick ***. Plus, the Damascus sword in SCII has a 175% Attack rating. That means that it's attacks do 75% more damage than his standard sword. Spawn actually has the most powerful (attack wise) weapon, though. 220% attack power with his legendary weapon. Still Mitsurugi is really good.

Oh, and his style is rigid because the katana is a very rigid weapon. The Samurai style is one of heavy chops and cuts, while the Chinese straight sword (Xianghua) is more movement oriented. It is less powerful, but it is more fluid and swift. It really depends on how you want to go. More strength, or more agility. With everything, there is compromise. Like Astaroth. Really, really strong and tough, but very low speed and agility. To use a really strong and tough weapon, it is generally heavy, and lowers your ability to move. The opposite is true. Fast weapons are light and thus, are less sturdy. Compromise. Hit a guy once and kill him, or hit a guy once and make him bleed a little, but be able to hit him ten times to the other guy's one.

Unborn lord Xion, you rock! Finaly someone who likes Xion! I tough I was the only one! You said you playe the 3 and 4 and are gonna get the 1 and 2? What about Primal Fury people! Some say it's crappy but I it's because of it I discovered Bloody Roar! Oh and if Unborn Lord Xion likes Xion, he isn't in the 1 and 2... Oh and I hate Nagi.... I haven't played bloody roar yet but it sounds cool so im gonna check it out. However my favorite character from soulcalibur would hafta be cassandra and sophitia there sisters so i think thats pretty cool. And they have to fight each other in sophitia's destenty battle. I can also reltate to them as me and my sister lol. she's very preachy just like sophitia and i like to battle than talk. Cassandra's has some pretty cool moves as well. Like the one were she stabs them in the ankle as someone previeously mentioned before....anouther move would be wear shes bent down and stabs them in the lower abdomine and she slowly pulls her blade out of them.....thats awsome!!!

other sub cool characters would be taki....she has some pretty devastaing moves but god i hate that cat suit she wears...good god her boobs move with every slight move she makes.

voldo is really cool i like his style of fighting, whatever it is....but I'm not too keen with his costumes the black on is ok but hes wearing a thong with spikes coming out were his groin is and that red bubble kinda suit is just weired...

misterugi is anouther great character to play with his ultimate weapon damascus sword but i find him to be alittle slow sometimes.

My favorite Bloody Roar Character is Uriko. I mean, I can't find anything more fun than scratching my opponents face 'till you don't recognize them, and then bouncing them around the arena in a big glowy ball!!

As for Soul Caliber, Link. Why? He's Link! The hero of time and protector of Hyrule! (and many other lands for that matter...)

This may sound... different but in bloody roar 3 for the PS2, i like Shina the best because shes hot and badass. Plus, i like leopards :rrwwwowwrr: :rolleyes:

Okay my fav chara on Bloody roar is probably that mole guy (forgot his name not played it for so long!) because he is a ninja guy and ninjas are the acest!

As for soul caliber 2 I have no clear favourite but if I had to I would say Nightmare cos hes neither good or evil he is the struggle between them a lot like me!

well I dont know anything acout bloody rear*sry if I spelled it rong* but I know alot about soulcaliber.my fave characters in soul caliber are:Mitsurugi,Talim,& Xiangua mitsurugi for is agility and awesome attacks.Talim for her speed weopon awesome attacks and that she just too cute!.And Xiangua, for her personality strength and agility

If i had the GameCube version of Soul Calibur 2 my fave would be LINK! wooo! but i don't *cries* i have the Ps2 version soo..i dun't have link.. But! i like Sueng Mina omg her moves r soo funny! she has this move where she hits both foot twice and then hit the middle! i forgot wat it's called lol it's kinda like giving sumone
