Ah, SA, bra stories. K, I know it's kind of pathetic, as I'm 16 and going to be a senior and all, but I didn't know that bras have sizes until about a month ago. Seriously! All I wear are sports bras, and in the juniors section they didn't really have sizes with numbers or letters - just small, medium, large. I mean, simple! So my first bras I got in middle school, and I haven't had to buy new ones since, except now. So I went, and...I was like, "What the heck do these mean? 34A?" Wow, didn't have a clue, and the numbers and stuff scared me. So yeah, my first experience with bras, I suppose. Funny how it was not very long ago.-_-;;

Ah, and reading about TSS on the tampon box, that scared the crap out of me. I was so worried! But I still have no idea what it is... That's pretty funny though, MistressRoxie. :laugh:

Hmmm I don't know how this could be not interesting...I like to learn new things I never really asked too many girls about this sort of stuff. I mean what am I suppose to do ask my stinking mom lol. I know what all the stuff is and what it's used for but..I enjoy reading and getting a sort of understaading on it. What can I say Im a studier of people. This sort of stuff facinates me.

Though for a time (last summer) I got a second job as running a gas station and wel had to clean all the garbage cans and stuff every night.......WOW...some of the stuff that I've seen scared me, thus is definetly why guys DO not want to know all about tampons and such *shivers* yes wow and then you'd have a sloppy women who wouldn't hit the trash with her tampon, yeah had to pick that stuff up.

I of course learnt about this crap for school then when the "talk" came I had already known the gist of it. Man I want to a Chatholic school so lucky me a preist had to teach us this stuff. *braces for molesting preist jokes* But, in my opinion they either need to drop that procedure or just do a better job at it.

Well anyway I took quite a while to read all of that heh....thank god for coffee. Nothing like reading about girls periods after a long day of work heh.

I know this was a while ago, but all the tampons I have ever bought have had a sheet of instructions inside them. With graphic diagrams and all. In fact, I bought a box of tampons yesterday and there were instructions inside! Though I'm sure nobody needed to know that.

Some girls just find tampons less comfortable than other people. In my experience that's generally been because they're just less comfortable about inserting them. Also, if you find them really uncomfortable, you may have put it in wrong
(it might not be far in enough)
.

*shudder* I don't usually post about these things on the Internet.

Anyway ... bras ... the first time I told my mom I wanted a bra she was kind of like, "Why?" But she was still good about going with me to buy them :p. Yeah, it was incredibly embarrassing to go buy bras with my mom, but I think it'd have been more embarrassing to have to buy my first bra by myself at about 12 years old (when to be honest I probably didn't need one anyway).

Oh, and as for having sex for the first time, both the bleeding and the pain totally depend on the person. In fact, some girls break their hymen (which causes the blood) when they insert a tampon, so you may not bleed. Some girls' hymens never break. Some girls' hymens don't hurt when they break, and some girls' do. So yeah. One of those things you just have to figure out when it happens.

I read about this woman in Jane Magazine who actually had to go to her gyno (you girls about 18 and over know what I mean) to get her hymen removed because it was too thick to be broken by regular penitration. (ie a tampon or sex) All I could think about when i read that was: Glad it didn't happen to me.

But yeah, the pain and bleeding does depend on the person. For me the pain wasn't all that bad, but I had a fear that was about to fart. There is no bigger mood killer than when one of you farts during the process.

Bra stories...

Last time I was in Texas I went bowling with Lincoln and my dad. We were near the last frame and I started feeling this pain in my right breast. I went into the bathroom to see what it was. Turns out the wire of my underwire bra had come out and started poking me. I was pretty angry because that bra was from Victoria's Secret, I paid $30.00 for that bra and had only had it for a few months.

I had also only brought one bra with me. That bra. So I had to go over to the PX, borrow money from my dad to buy a new bra, then drive back to the hotel, with the stupid piece of metal sticking in my breast and change the bra.

Needless to say, the next day I went over to Victoria's Secret to complain and they gave me a new bra. Last time I ever pay full price on a Victoria's Secret bra that's for sure.

I got my first bra when I was in 3rd grade. (and by fourth grade I needed it) But I had to convince my mom to get me one because she kept telling me that once I started wearing a bra I'd be wearing one for the rest of my life (now I wish I was a tiny little 34A so I could get away without wearing a bra) but I kept pestering her so I got my first training bra for Christmas. Infront of my mom, her two sisters, my brother (who was five at the time) my mama, my papa and my dad. I guess it could have been worse, she could have given it to me Christmas Eve infront of my dad's side of the family. but still having your mom yell 'hold it up!' when she knows what it is is emberassing no matter how many people are in the room.

The worst thing of it all. I still remember my Aunt marty yelling out: Why do you need a training bra when you don't have anything to train.

That must have been awful...I have a story like that, but it's not about bras...

I was twelve, and for Christmas, my mom got me a package of pads, and when I opened it, my little brother started cracking up (he knows way too much for his age)
and he grabed them and started shouting (the whole family was in the room) "Hey! Look what Elizabeth got!...", it was sooo embarassing... :faint:

God, that must have been so embarrassing. That's just about as annoying as getting toilet paper for Christmas (happened to someone I know because their mum went shopping a little too late).

So, bra stories? Well, my mom loves sports bras, so when she went with me so I could by my first bra (pretty embarrassing in itsself), she bought me a sports bra. I told her it was too tight, but she was like "Oh, you'll get used to it." Well it really was too tight. I was small enough that sometimes I didn't have to wear it, and when I did, I had to stretch it out first, so it wouldn't be so tight on me. After a while, she asked me why they were stretched out, and thank god, I got regular bras with straps and snaps. lol.

Oh, by the way, who else thinks it's totally stupid to put the clasp for the bra on the back? And now, more of the plastic things to adjust the length of the strap are put in the back. And who thought up this rediculous concept? A man, Of course!

:laugh: That was a good one, Roxie. That one is definitely going in my sig if you don't mind. I've had lots of trouble with those things before. (I rarely ever wear sports bras.)
OK, why are you telling each other bra stories? :therock:
*Points to the title* If you need more explanation than that, then because it's fun. Do you have any bra stories, Z? (Just kidding. :p )

Why are you jealous because you don't have any? :laugh:

My cousin once took one of his mom's bras and used it for a balloon launcher. It worked pretty good because his mom is like a 44DD and she buys good quality bras. But of course, my aunt wasn't too amused with the outcome.

Girls tell stories like this because we think of it as a way to bond. I guess. And since most of us have stories about our first period, our tampon trials and bra stories it's one of the easiest ways to form a common bond.

That and I think we all hope to gross out guys more than they gross us out.

I'm a guy to clear that up.All you guys should leave the girls alone.Let them talk seriously.What ever they talk about is between them not us guys but them.You wouldn't like them bugging you in a stricktly guy topic now would you?

Thank you, Sesshomuru. That was very nice of you, I appreciate it. ^_^

*giggles* I can't believe you quoted me, Silent Angel. I feel special. ^^;;

Oh, and is it just me, or is every woman on this planet doomed to be unsatisfied with the size cup they have? Everyone who is an A cup wants to be a C cup, and vice versa. Me included. @_@;;;

Hell, I don't really care if a guy wants to get involved in a mainly female topic oriented thread. Because I know as well as the rest of us girls do that if there was a guy's only topic on the board you know that many of us (myself included) would get involved in that topic.

Women wanted gender equality, part of that is letting guys into our turf and not complaining. Just laughing at their utter confusion is good enough for me. So keep that XY chromosome confusion coming. :laugh:

I agree with you, Chibi. I know I would want to take a look at their topic, even if I didn't post in it.
*Hint to any boys reading this - start a boys' only topic so I can spy on it!* :p
I don't care if they intrude, as long as they're not doing it to make fun of us or something. Anyways, back on topic...

I remember when I first heard about the "birds and the bees", I was scared to death about getting pregnant since it sounded so painful. (Don't get me wrong, I want kids, but I would like it a lot better if they didn't have to come from inside of me.) My mom didn't help much either. Doesn't she want grandchildren? lol

And what do you think of guys with long hair? Do you like it? Or would you hate dating someone who has a longer ponytail than you?

Ooo! Actually, I've never met guy, IRL, with long hair, but I would SOOO date someone with long hair. Not that it would be the only reason for me to date them (that would be shallow), but it would be a major plus.

I mean, look at all the anime characters with long hair, that people like. Uhm... Ken from Digimon has somewhat long hair, Amon from Witch Hunter Robin has long hair, Inuyasha (whom many -though not me - find attractive) has long hair, and Duo Maxwell is *the* hottie with long hair. [Incidentally, TheVampire: Ed has hair just as long as Duo. He's just as cute, too.]

Or, even in films with actors, guys with long hair are really cute. Just look at Orlando Bloom in LoTR! Also, if you saw Van Helsing (very mediocre movie), Richard Roxbury (Dracula), in a wig of long hair, was very cute. (er.. that might just be me....)

Point is: more guys should let their hair grow so it's long; They'd look very attractive. ¬_¬

I have to say that the only guys with long hair that I like to look at are :
Duo Maxwell, InuYasha, Sesshomaru, Tasuki and Orlando Bloom when he played Legolas in LOTR

Or in other words, four anime guys and an actor playing a role.

Other than that I just don't think guys look right with long hair. I've seen enough of them to know it's not my type.

It's like they say: Bald is beautiful.
