Writing A Poem

[Secily]

[CENTER]Tempest

Abandoned he stands there,
waiting for someone, something.
All while shivering, the chill of twilight falling around him,
trapped inside a dream.

His thoughts fall onto the being that deems herself Mother.
Unaware of her manipulative tactics, he trusts her with his life and the safety of others.
All unknowingly.

As darkness falls, he looks up, having sensed another presence.
A warm, cruel voice pulls him from his stupor,
a voice that he now considers familiar.

His feet cannot find a secure hold. Screaming in fear,
flailing his arms dangerously, he cries that he doesn?t want it like this.
He is thrown into the sky, towards ominous black clouds.

?Please, make it stop? you can't erase her!? he shrieks.
?Was it because I brought Subaru? I?m Sorry!?

?You're too late...I don?t need you anymore,? the voice replies calmly.

A strong, radiant energy surges through him,
chasing away all rational thought.

The pain is almost too much for him to bear,
but at the storms? climax, as well as that of his sanity,
his screaming stops and his surroundings are once again peaceful.

Slowly, he is lowered to the ground.
The shredded remnants of his mind come together,
and he finally realizes that he is nothing in The World.

The last one is my favorite...I'm going to change it around eventually...oh, and it's supposed to sum up the 20th episode of .hack//SIGN, so the boy in the poem is Tsukasa...just explaining the intentions behind it...
