I was just wondering what kinda music do you all like to listen to. Personally i've been into Bad Religion as of late.
Also how do you get your music, and what do you think about downloading music for free off of...lets say Kazaa.

Oh, and I like rock, the most, but I'll listen to almost anything.

I love loads of different music, it all depends what mood Im in. At the moment my fav bands are the Brilliant Green, the Cardigans and No Doubt. I seem to like bands with female singers better :D

I tend to like various types of music, and generally get into a mood where I'll listen to one genre, find something else, focus on that genre, find another etc. At the moment, punk and heavy metal, with a little black metal (cradle of filth) thrown in

My favorite genre is punk, metal, black metal mostly anything with a bass and an electric guitar. I don't like rap at all....i think sometimes they have a good beat to listin too but i don't like the message they send most of the time.


anouther band i don't like is the beatles.....i have nothing against them i just don't like to listen to them...there voice pitch is too high for them and it sounds like there pluging there nose while singing (this is just my opinon)

I like listening to oldies. It's not that I hate the music lately, it's just that I don't like it either. I'm neutral on it. I like listening to the tunes of a 20 - 40 years ago.

Unlike Rachael, I happen to quite enjoy listning to The Beatles. I find that their melodys and lyrics are catchy and all around great.

I'll listen to anything except rap, classical, latin, and metal. But there are a few exceptions with those genres like the female rappers, Shakira, Selena, and Metallica. But the music I'm REALLY into is pop music and anime soundtracks ('specially Cowboy Bebop and Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin).

I don't download music of Kazaa, infact I really don't like downloading music for free, but currently it's my only source to listen to decent music. The bands I listen to deserve the money, but I can't buy these type of albums anywhere near me. I plan on buying the music eventually, if I can ever find it.[/color][/size]

I'm also into neo-classical, electronica and 80's music. Then there are random bands like the Offspring and such. I'm very picky so I'll only listen to about 10 bands.

As for downloading - people make too much of a fuss about it, I think people should be allowed to download all the music they like. I suppose musicians have to make a profit, but there are concerts, gigs, and stuff otherwise selling CD's, which devote fans will buy anyway.

Hey the best genres for music I listen to is Techno,trance , rock and just about anything but jazz country or any of those kinds of music :wigout: :flaming: :devil:

About the only stuff I won't listen to is (Rap, most Hip Hop, Death metal and 90% of the stuff made before the mid 90's). Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, Moby and Fatboy Slim are my favourites at the moment.[/color][/font]

It's all about the PUNK!!! I'm a total punk rocker so that's mostly all I listen to. I listen to the hardcore stuff, like The Misfits, Social Distortion, tons of old punk. Sex Pistols, The Damned, The Ramones, all that good stuff. I also love AFI. I sorta like their newer emo goth rock stuff but I really like all the older AFI, back when they were punk. I freaking hate all this pop punk **** like Good Charlotte and all those other losers. I'm also a total metal head, My favorite metal band is Metallica of course. Ok, You better stop me cause I could talk about my music all day long.......

I just took that quiz, apparantly i like heavy metal, Rock on Metallica!!!!!, and so on.

My favorite genres are alternative rock (like Alice in Chains) prog rock (like Tool... YAY TOOL!!!) Any subgenre of Electronica, specifically trance, D&B, happy hardcore, and finally, good experimental rock type stuff (like Radiohead, or the Flaming Lips.) I can listen to anything else if it's by someone talented. It's just the genres where every single song sounds exactly the same *COUGH RAP COUGH PUNK COUGH* that I don't like.

I like pretty much all music from classical, proggressive rock, to chamber pop. Virtually anything from the classical era to the 80s. This does not include bands that formed in the 80s and still recorded in the 90s and today such as U2 or The Divine Comedy.

I can't stand any rap or hip hop, the lyrics and the music I find annoying but that's me. I also can't stand most country only becuase I've noticed many songs by artists like Warren Zevon are covered and torn apart to match the music style of country, and I noticed Dire Straits riffs used (mainly the riffs in Sultans of Swing) throughout an entire song and it's just not origional if that is done. I do like Kenny Rogers though.

Mostly softish rock to trance/techno are my faves. Bands like Dashboard Confessional, The Streets and Paul Oakenfold is what I usally listen to, depending on my mood. And I get my music from either the music store or Napster.com

I download stuff off of WIN MX and buy a pretty hefty load of CDs from FYE. Mix of both. I use MX to get singles/hear a new band mainly. I'm not really into downloading whole albums, lol.[/color]
