Imp
OOC: Dum dee dum dum... It's the age of philosoply here! IC: Mereduin continued to watch the crystal ball. In it, she saw the whole fight, escecially the one with Hawk. She also saw Rimnil being destroyed and wished she could do the same to the raven that was preventing her from escaping the desolate room she was enclosed in for what seemed like forever. She started to think about her previous adventures with the rest of the group, when they were on their previous quest to defeat Morak and his army. She then thought further back, to the time she first left home on her journey to find her sister, who had wandered off without warning. All this made her cry. She then thought about a certain time when Helios appeared. All she could remember was that some sort of portal opened in the cave, and a magnetic force pulled her into it like a black hole, while Celestia and Asunan were focusing on the fight. I was brought here because I chose not to fight, Mereduin thought. It's because I was a chicken and wanted to sneak away from the battle, and I was brought into this room of darkness and loneliness, away from my friends, away from my family... away from... Mereduin stopped abruptly when she realized that Celestia and Asunan could tell what she was thinking at every moment. She blushed and put her hand over her mouth. "I know what's wrong..." Celestia said in a soothing tone to her, kneeling down next to her little sister and trying to comfort her in every way possible. Asunan had heard Meredion's thoughts as well, but she decided to be the guard dog, in case the raven threatened to attack. "You made a mistake," Celestia realized. "You're putting yourself down because of one simple mistake. You can't predict the future, so you didn't know that you would be brought here... to tell you the truth, neither did I... A psychic's powers are limited to fate--occurences of fate can't be stopped, no matter what. Fate brought you here to learn the hard way. I had a strange feeling that something bad would happen to you ever since we started out on our journey... It was fated as well for me to wander off into the night like that, and for you to come running after me. To tell you the truth, that was very brave of you..." "You're making a mistake," Mereduin interjected. "I'm not..." "Don't say that!" Celestia cut off. "I think you're brave to not fight, to face your fate and follow it as well, and, most importantly, to follow me because you were worried. That's what a true friend would do. It was fated as well to tell you all this, so now you must emerge from the darkness and into the light, and face your worries and your problems as well! Transform from a cowardly chicken into a bold one! Get in there and fight, for once!" At this Mereduin started to think quite deeply. "Heh, shouldn't have said that last part," Celestia muttered to herself as she started to walk out of the room back to where the battle with Hawk raged on. Mereduin didn't even see her go, but Asunan noticed... "Hey, Celestia! Don't go! We still have a fight with Ma... I mean..." she said in a panicked tone, casting a worried look at Mereduin, "...the raven... to finish! In fact, we haven't even started it!" "We?" Celestia questioned, stopping at the door and facing Asunan. "There's no 'we' now." She looked at Mereduin, who was still thinking about what she said. I feel that Mereduin can face this enemy on her own, she continued telepathically. It's her problem, not ours. After what I taught her about fate and confronting her problems, she should make it out alive. Now, we must pass on the wisdom to Hawk, who needs it desperately after what I heard him say to Riv... Yes, he's Riv again ever since he got Lemaria back... Yes, there is pain with existence, but there's also wonders of which Hawk apparently doesn't know about. Let's go, my friend, and let what Hawk calls 'bad' fall in their own despair! After this conversation, Asunan nodded and ran after Celestia, and both of them exited the room only to find themselves floating about seven miles off the ground. Asunan looked at Celestia, who grabbed her by the hand and floated back town toward the ground below, towards the forest which partially lay in ashes, to the place where the duel with Hawk was brewing... Meanwhile, Mereduin was through contemplating and stood up, not caring of she was alone again, for she knew now that she soon wouldn't be. The raven stood before her, staring at her with a calm yet sinister gaze. Suddenly, the raven spoke... "Mereduin, I overheard Celestia and Asunan's telepathic conversation. They're abandoning you to fight Hawk! They left you all alone again, in the dark, and worse, with me as your companion! Now, isn't that nice?" the raven cackled. "You led me here because you thought you could take advantage of my weakness," Mereduin retaliated. "You thought you could subject me to a life of eternal sadness and loneliness, but you were off my a mile. Something inside me knew that my friends would come back for me, and they did, so there. If I had known better, I'd have suggested that you stay in this room to protect me from escaping and anyone else from entering. It was so stupid of you to exit to participate in others' affairs, because the minute you try to juggle too many big things at once, you have a better chance of dropping all of them and having to start from scratch. You'd have to live with the guilt of failing." "The reason I meddled with the lives of your 'friends' is so that I could deliver a signal to Rimnil and tell him to reassemble his army to destroy them. And, my plan succeeded," the raven replied. "But someone could have found out about that, you know," Mereduin added, keeping Celestia and Asunan in mind. "Exactly part of my plan," the raven continued. "While Celestia waddled in deep depression, Asunan heard about the message and came running to me. Eventually, we had a long battle, and Celestia found out when she rejoined the group, so she came looking for her friend. But, that led me out and to my chance to battle the group! Of course, I was seemingly destroyed, but I was specially resurrected by Rimnil's army as a little thank-you for my little command. You thought that that was your chance to escape, but I blocked you, didn't I?" At this, a realization came to Mereduin. "Celestia's right," Mereduin realized. "Fate leads us through everyone's lives, and we cannot stop that, so our only choice is to believe that it will lead us to the ultimate good. I have learned to confront my problems now, and at this moment, my problem is you, Maridra." The raven became wide-eyed and stepped back, then flew off the shelf, slanted up, and became shrouded in a dark, swirling fog. Within seconds, Maridra appeared, glaring at Mereduin and smiling. She then closed her eyes and vanished, leaving Mereduin confused. Maridra reappeared behind Mereduin and had fired a beam that looked similar to Arunue's tattoo, shooting Mereduin in the back with a pain that seared like fire. Mereduin winced and fell to the ground. Quite luckily, she landed right next to her basket, reaching into it and rummaging around for something useful. Suddenly, she found what looked like a mirror and took it out, holding it up and inspecting it. On the back was a starlike shape and a faded ring. Mereduin looked at this for a moment, then put on a sinister smirk. She turned around to face Maridra, hiding the mirror in her cape. Maridra, meanwhile, was forming a nearly invisible orb in her hands and chanting a spell over it, though Mereduin had no clue what it was... All of a sudden, the orb flew at Mereduin, transforming into what looked like a spear. Mereduin at first just stood there, but when the spear was about a foot away from her, she took out the mirror and flung it out in front of where the spear was about to hit. The spear was absorbed in the mirror without any damage at all. Mereduin leapt backward, falling to her knees. At this, Maridra laughed. "Yes, a life-draining spell. Quite complicated and hard to perform, but I saved this one especially for you, and it looks like you got hit, so bye-bye! Wow, that was fairly easy..." Maridra looked over to her crystal ball and saw Celestia and Asunan floating down towards the forest where Hawk held his battle. But while she was looking... "Think fast!" Mereduin shouted as she held out the mirror and pointed it at Maridra. The spear that was meant for Mereduin shot out of it, heading straight for Maridra. Maridra was taken by surprise and tried to leap out of the way, but she didn't have enough time to react, and the spear hit her in the shoulder, draining her of all her powers and making her weaker by the second, until she was unable to move or breathe, until she just lay there without a bit of life in her. "Yeah!" Mereduin cheered as she rushed towards her basket and put the mirror back in it, keeping it in case she needed it later. She then ran out the door to the outside world, and, quite magically, instead of having to drop down seven miles, she found herself on a beach near the hills. A broad smile spread across her face, and she began to look around, happy to finally see be out of that dark room again. Now, her only worry was Hawk, whom she only knew very little about, that he was the father of Uni and Ios...
Box Hoy
Toshi clapped his hands as Riv turned. "I guess someone finally decided to show up eh," Toshi said. Riv smiled and scratched the back of his head. Suddenly a light came from nowhere. Toshi turned putting his arm up to block it. Celestia and Asunan appeared out of the lgiht as it dissapated. "Where you guys been," Toshi asked? Celestia walked up to the group followed by Asunan. "We had to teach my little sister a lesson in fighting and now we must teach that lesson to Hawk," she said. Arunue shook her head. "You still don't get it do you," Arunue said. "Hawk won't listen to what you say. He doesn't care about you. All he wants is desctruction of everything an--," Arunue was cut off by two beings approaching their group. Kieko's eyes widened. Uni stepped out of the fire that still rages across this the battle feild. "Looks like father got here a little earlier than expected," Ios said coming out of the fire too. Toshi drew up his sword. "Take another step," Toshi said. Riv and Rayne come to either of his sides. "It does take us quite a long time to make it within the realm. The Norns did a good job of making their sacrifice protect this world from us," Uni added. "Why'd father come early any way," Ios said. Uni shrugged. "He's quite the mystery." Arunue came up to Toshi, Rayne, and Riv and stood in their group. "I'm not sure you want to fight us," she said. Her tatoos glowed dimly as a threat. Toshi smirked. Celestia and Asunan came to another side of Uni and Ios. "If they fight we're going in too," Celestia said. Gaitei looked to Kieko and Yeix. "We gotta help," he said. They came to the other side of Uni and Ios. Arunue began to speak but another girls voice came from up the hill. "Wait you're not fighting without us," Veil said running with Symoni. "We're not letting this fail," she said. Toshi's face brightened. Yeix watched Symoni with complete concentration. She'd only just returned to the group and now she was ready to fight. The two had been up in the cave waiting but it was obvious they didn't want to wait. "You ready," Toshi said.
ArunueShekamari
OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting....eh, family problems. And sorry this post is short as hell. I only have...3 minutes now and this is the best I can get. IC: All was silent for what felt like hours, but was truly only a few seconds. Uni and Ios stood infront of them with there arms crossed. They didnt so much as flinch. Not a single mucle moving in either of there bodies. The silence was broken by Arunue sighing. Toshi shot a glance to her. Her face was expressionless, almost. The only feeling he could get from her was pain. Stressing emotional pain, with no presice cause. He looked back to Uni and Ios. Ios just grinned. Other than that, everyone was still, waiting for the first attack. It was made by Uni. He lept from where he was standing and charged at Toshi. His attack focused on him. Toshi doged and blocked with his sword. Arunue attacked but Uni blocked. This gave Toshi a chance to drive his sword into Unis side. Toshi took the sword out and the wound healed. He cursed ander his breath. OOC: *has edited* happy, box hoy? sorry, i was a little out of it when i made this post....rough day
Kieko
While Ios was watching his brother’s battle, Gaitei, Veil, Yeix, and Kieko attacked, the others staying behind for back up. Ios turned just in time to dodge Kieko and Veil’s attacks, but Yeix’s attack made a gash in his arm. Ios continued to dodge the attacks given by Gaitei, Kieko, Yeix, and Veil, smiling. “Now this doesn’t seem fair. Seven vs. One?” He gave a fake sigh. “No matter. I’ll still be the one to kill you all.” “Actually it’s more four vs. one, seeing as we’re the only ones attacking you at a time.” Veil said, attacking and dodging a counter attack. Ios had taken the offensive. “All the more reason that I will defeat you.” He said. Kieko noticed that his arm had healed. Gaitei, Yeix and Veil noticed it when the four jumped over his arm to avoid being punched. Ios turned to face them. And, when he did, Celestia, Asunan and Symoni fired their attacks at his back. Celestia fired orbs of energy, Asunan fired three arrows at once, and Symoni fired a small beam she called “threads of fire”. Ios heard this and turned around just in time to see all three attacks hit him square in the chest and abdomen, creating a large explosion of the rocks beneath him, raising a cloud of dust to hide the results of the attack. The seven remained at the ready, waiting for the dust to clear. _________________________ OCC: Sorry it’s so short! Imp
Within less than a minute, the cloud of dust finally cleared. Ios lay on his back--he had three arrows stuck in his chest, and a magic thread was wrapped around his arms so that he couldn't move them. The rest of his body was covered in burns. Celestia, Asunan, and Symoni each gave high-fives to each other and looked at Ios with smiles of determination and pride on their faces. Kieko, Gaitei, Yeix, and Veil breathed sighs of relief and were prepared to attack in case Ios recovered. Ios struggled on the ground, shouting, "You'll pay for this! You'll be at the mercy of me, my brother, and my father, most importantly--very soon!" And with that, he started to get up, only to face four attacks coming at him from all sides, hitting him like a quartet of burning arrows, piercing him in his head, especially his eyes and ears in order to disable him from seeing or hearing anything. At this, everyone who had been fighting him cheered. "Well," said Kieko, "that's one down, and two to go. We still have to worry about Hawk, you know..." she added darkly. "Hee hee! That rhymes!" giggled a voice behind the group. All seven of them turned around to find Mereduin standing there, holding up a little flame and throwing it at Ios, to make sure that he would remain knocked out and hopefully dead, if he could be dead. "Mereduin, you made it!" Celestia cried. "Oh, I knew you would. I just knew it!" "Of course you knew it," Mereduin joked. "You're psychic, right?" At this, Celestia blushed and hugged Mereduin tightly. Asunan knelt down next to them and smiled. "Hey everybody!" Celestia announced to the group, letting go of her sister. "This is Mereduin, my little sister! She's the one Maridra's held captive, but Maridra's gone now... She can help us fight Uni and Hawk, now that Ios is down... I hope." "It's strange..." Asunan wondered. "Celestia, don't you get a feeling that Ios can't be destroyed? I mean..." "No, no, and no," Celestia cut off. "He'll only survive if we believe he will. He'll be gone forever if we believe it to be so. Clear your troubled mind, my friend, and look on the bright side!" At this Asunan blushed and shook her head vigorously, trying not to think about Ios. The others laughed. Meanwhile, Toshi, Riv, and Arunue continued their battle with Uni. All three had cornered Uni. Uni stood in alarm with two swords and a dagger pointing at him. Riv held his sword a little higher so Uni could not escape by leaping up. Uni soon smiled. "Heh, you three think you can defeat me by surrounding me and standing still?" And with that, he lashed his arms out at Arunue and Toshi, who happened to be in front of him. At the same time, Riv swung his sword down upon Uni as if he was an executionist trying to cut someone's head off. (He would have been obliged if it were Uni's head!) The blade made impact on Uni's head, knocking him down until he lay on his stomach. Riv, Arunue, and Toshi all pointed their weapons at Uni, barely touching his back with them. They wondered if this would be the end for him...
Box Hoy
OCC- Arunue. I had my sword. Celestia restored it for me. So can you edit your post. IC- Uni smiled. The blade's pointing directly at his face. "And you believe that you can defeat me," he said. He grabbed Arunue's blade and pushed it away. He did the same for Toshi and Riv. "Father wants you dead all gone. I will grant him his wish," Uni said. He put his arm into the air and then brought it down to the ground fast with a hard slam. "I've been waiting to use this. I thought you'd be dead by now but I guess not. Here it goes," Uni said. The ground began to lift from under everyones feet. Ios woke up. He looked to Uni. "I'll help," he said. He did the same motion as Uni and the ground began to lift. Toshi watched as the ground below him crumbled and floated into the air. Tree's fell into the pit that continued to get larger and larger. Rayne looked over to see where everyone else was. He heard a scream below him. He looked downwards to see Kieko dangeling over the edge of a floating rock about to crumble. "Hold on," Rayne said. He leapt downwards and grabbed Kieko's hand. The rock began to crumble more. Rayne jumped from the rock holding Kieko and grabbed a higher rock. Uni watched as the floating ground continued to rise. "Time for the finale," Ios said. Uni nodded. He put both hands on the ground. A sphere of darkness surrounded him. Ios smirked. "You're end has come," he said. The dark sphere began to shoot beams from it towards the floating rocks. The dark sphere released itself from Uni and followed the beams. The hit the rocks. Toshi watched as he was engulfed in dark burning energy. "We'll return," Toshi yelled. His body dissolved in the darkness of the beam. Arunue's eyes opened her eyes. Light surrounded her. She stood up. "Welcome," said a voice. Arunue turned to try and find the voice. "Welcome to Yggradisil," the voice said. A cloaked figure appeared in the light. It had a hood over it's face so she could not see who it was. OCC- Check the Realms Saga thread in the new forum. I'll explain Yggradisil there and what just happened. Skitto
OCC: TIMMAH!! I just had to say that some time. Riv had, all this time, withheld from using Lemaria's special powers. Staying a swordsman was not the best idea in this situation and he hoped no one would notice, Lemaria needed to recover from the fight with Hawk and regain it's strength. Yet just then, Lemaria sprung to life all it's own and started using it's light without any mental command from Riv, the light leapt from the tip and separated into three tentacles that swished around in the air and caught the hooded figure with two of their number, the third separating into two and running them through multiple times. Riv looked up to see his face, then almost flung himself away from the person. The light dropped him, dead, and Riv stood, white faced and staring. "That was a little gruesome don't you think?" said Veil to him. "I didn't do it," said Riv, a scared tone creeping into his voice, "I did nothing," "But-" "Lemaria did it on her own," "It's a her now?" "Yes, now I know why she has that name, I just released her spirit from chains that bound her to my control, and she did it all her own. Now I know why the wisemen gave me Lemaria, they knew what danger they were in way before Rimnil attacked my villiage so long ago, they planned ahead everything that would happen. I don't know why or how, but... nevermind. I went on about it and it's not that big a deal." "But-" "I SAID NEVERMIND!" Riv then used Lemaria once again to lift him into the air and carry him with four legs of light away from the group. Yeix flew out after him, and many of the rest were very confused. "What just happened?" Kieko asked to no one in particular, Toshi was probably the only one who fully knew what was going on, "He just needs some time to think." "We do as well," Rayne said, a serious tone in his voice, "But not as much as Riv may, I sense that Hawk and the duo of Uni and Ios are regenerating as we speak." "We need to figure out a plan of action," said Hiroshi decisively, "How can we destroy Hawk for good? And how do we go about doing so? Those are two questions that Riv probably wanted us to assimilate and think about in his temporary defeat of Hawk." "But who is this?" But before Symoni could look at the face of the man, they were back in the forest, and Toshi and Arunue were still gone. * * * * * * * * * * Riv flew over the northern sea and exceeded speeds of 250 mph trying to find anywhere that looked familiar, and of course there was none. He had lost Yeix a while due to his speed, he had probably already gone back. What is this? Riv thought Where? Where is it? What am I looking for? I don't even know. But I'm still looking for it. Why am I looking for it? But- THERE! He stopped on a dime, creating a few more light-legs to do so and turned east to go inland to the villiage that he thought would never come back, yet had. OCC: The villiage is his home of Krii if anyone wants to extend it, remember though that it's in ruins.
Imp
OOC: Uhhh... Box? In my last post, Ios was knocked out, so the part where Ios appears in your post is unclear... could you edit that please? IC: While the beams of dark energy hit the flying ground, Celestia grabbed Asunan and flew up, away from the scene. After that, she used her powers to lift Gaitei, Symoni, Mereduin, and Yeix onto a piece of flying ground that appeared stable. To their left, Rayne and Kieko were on another rock, Rayne holding Kieko's hand to prevent her from falling off. "Drat!" Celestia stammered. "I can't believe I have to do all these things at once..." With that, she found a small rock behind her and dropped off Asunan on it. Then, she flew back out and noticed that the rock that Rayne and Kieko were on began to crumble. Celestia used her powers to stabilize the rock and hold it together. "I can't believe it! Uni and Ios are supposedly dead, but why is this land still floating?" Celestia uttered. "Maybe..." Asunan started to say, "...maybe Uni and Ios aren't..." "Don't... say... that..." Celestia said slowly to keep her concentration on the rock. She eventually gave up and carried Rayne and Kieko to the ground safely. Just before Rayne and Kieko landed on the ground, the ground stopped shaking, and the flying rocks and land pieces fell back to the ground. "If you--or anyone--thinks Uni and Ios are still alive," Celestia continued, sighing with relief and landing on the ground next to Asunan, "they will still be alive. Just remember what I said earlier. We must do the same for Hawk while fighting him." "But..." Asunan blurted. Celestia began to silence her, but then she stopped, realizing that Asunan was not about to protest. "...Hawk's gone..." Asunan continued. "Where is he?" Celestia asked, sounding confused. "For the first time, I don't know..." Asunan answered. "You don't know?!" Celestia exclaimed. "Well gee, neither do I... But we should know... why... something is not right here... you don't suppose we... no, it can't be..." "Is something wrong?" Mereduin asked, arriving on the scene with Gaitei, Symoni, and Yeix right next to her. "Where are Toshi, Riv, and Arunue?" Kieko asked, also arriving with the rest of the group with Rayne at her side. "I saw Riv flying across the ocean," Yeix answered, "but Toshi and Arunue seem to have disappeared..." "It must have been the orb fired by Uni and Ios," Gaitei added. "Celestia..." Symoni wondered, changing the subject. "I thought you said that Ios could be destroyed if we believed that he could... But he came back, didn't he?" "Yes," Celestia answered with a hint of annoyance, "but Riv... I mean Lemaria... destroyed him and his brother just a few minutes ago. Now they are gone, and we must not ever think about the possibility of the two coming back." "But what do we do now?" Gaitei asked. Just then, Veil came running to the group, looking worried. "Hey you guys," she said, slightly out of breath, "Riv just thought that Lemaria defeated Uni and Ios--not him. And he went home as well. I don't think..." "Yes, yes, we know," Kieko interrupted. "We were just talking about that." "What do we do?" Veil panicked. "Now might be a good time to find Hawk..." Asunan suggested. "How can we when we don't know where he is?" Celestia blurted. "You don't know where he is?" Mereduin interjected, sounding alarmed. "What do you mean you don't know where he is?" "Exactly that," Celestia continued. "Mereduin, it's probably the same reason I didn't know where you were when Maridra held you captive. She created some sort of barrier that blocked my telepathic calls to you... I bet Hawk is doing something similar to that." "So he's hiding and being chicken?" Mereduin blurted, still in a panic. At this, Celestia and Asunan laughed. Mereduin gave them dirty looks. "Why would Hawk be scared of us?" Yeix wondered. "It's just impossible!" "Of course," Gaitei added. "After all, he wants to destroy everything in existence and will not stop till he does, right?" "The first part's certainly right," Veil answered, "but I'm not sure what Hawk could be up to now, but you're right. It's very unlikely for him to be taking a break or something. "I wonder..." Celestia muttered. "I wonder... if he's trying to revive his sons?" "That sounds more likely," Symoni agreed. "Or," Asunan addded, "he could be gathering recruits like good old Helios..." "I think all of them are dead," Mereduin hypothesized. "Unless he can revive them," Gaitei suggested. "I doubt he's doing anything else," Rayne concluded, "so that must be it. In that case, we must find Hawk before he brings anyone back to help him." "Hey wait," Kieko added at the last minute, "maybe Hawk just fled the scene to attack some other part of the universe." "That could be," Celestia said with uncertainty, "but think about it--Hawk hasn't even tried to attack any other place than here so far. Besides, this is where is greatest foes are--they all gathered in one place. Arunue, Toshi, Riv, everybody here as well. Maybe what we should do is find Arunue, Toshi, and Riv. At least I know where they are." "Really?" Veil asked. "Where?" "Well," Asunan answered, "Riv went home, as you all know. Arunue is in Yggradisil, a place I can't describe too well... Toshi, well, is supposedly in another dimension, in a world of darkness..." "Wait, Toshi?" Celestia clarified. "No, Asunan, you have it partially wrong. Toshi has somehow reappeared..." and with this, Celestia hesitated and closed her eyes, "...on the same planet that I was before I came here... except in another part, maybe the core or something..." "Then he's fine, isn't he?" Rayne asked. "Celestia, didn't you tell me once that you were on this... planet... and found a wormhole that led you here?" Celestia nodded. "Well, in that case," he continued, "he should be fine--all he has to do is..." "I know what you're thinking," Celestia interrupted. At this, Mereduin rolled her eyes. "I don't think it will work out that way for him," Celestia continued. "Toshi is in a place where he can't get to the wormhole very easily. Besides, and I hate to tell you this, the wormhole has shrunk and it's too small for him to pass through..." "Does that mean..." Veil said, starting to worry. "But he'll be OK, I know it," Kieko reassured. "I believe it." She turned and winked at Celestia, then continued, "They'll all come back just fine." At this, Asunan started to protest, but then she stopped, realizing that people, for the most part, are obliged to do things themselves. "All right," Yeix announced, "why don't we stop the chit-chat and find Hawk?" At ths, everyone began to agree, though some people had to think about it for a few seconds... OOC: Whew, that was a weird post... mostly dialogue... Box Hoy
Toshi yelled out in pain. Hawk stood before him in one of his existing forms. "So. I finally have Toshi Kodurama within my grasp," Hawk said. "With you I can finally destroy your allies." Flames surged all around the two of them. Toshi's eyes were closed trying to resist the pain. He was failing though. "It's time to reveal your true past Toshi," Hawk said. Toshi opened his eyes. He was tied up to a burning hot rock. "You are the third verse of this universe. Like Uni and Ios, your were chosen to hold the laws of universe so that nothing that isn't supposed to happen, happens. However as you can see. The universe has been slowly falling apart. You are the one being keeping this universe stable. Keeping the rules of existence here," he said. Toshi shook his head. "That's a lie. I can't be. I would've known," he yelled. Hawk turned his back to Toshi. He reached into a pocket and took out the feather of a crow. "Uni and Ios did not know either. That left them vunerable for me to use. You three are beings that were put here by Yggradisil. You three are the links between the two worlds. Yggradisil sends it's power of law through you to uphold this entire universe. It's power has been limited now however," Hawk explained. Toshi lay there on the rock. Helpless. Hawk turned around again revealing the crow feather. "Over the years I have perfected this power of manipuation. It will be your downfall along with the entire universe," Hawk said. He let go of the crow feather. It floated in mid air. "The Art of Crow. Using the darkness of the universe I turn this feather into a manipuative tool. It makes you a drone under my command," he said. Meanwhile Arunue stood before the hooded figure. He removed his hood to reveal the face of Esdad. "Hello Arunue," he said. Arunue shook her head. "What are you doing here Esdad," she asked? Esdad smiled at the young women before him. "I am here to provide the answers," he said. Esdad put his hand on Arunue's shoulder and motioned for her to walk with him. Suddenly the light faded into Trinia, or a copy of Trinia. They walked along the streets of the great Kingdom Realm. People hustled about. Busy as ever. "Arunue. You have been wondering why you are the one who is chosen to posses the Robe," Esdad said. Arunue nodded. Esdad smiled. "You're answer has arrived," he said. The background changed. They were now walking in the rubble of the buildings in this city. "This is after Shakia destroyed his kingdom and killed his people," Esdad said. He walked over to a large rock in his way. Esdad tapped it with hand. The rock shattered. Arunue approached Esdad. Where the rock had been was a tunnel. "This is the pathway of the souls," Esdad said looking to Arunue. He stepped into it and beckoned for Arunue to follow. "The souls of all who died from Shakia's war on Trinia came here. For a long time Asgard was not ready for dead souls so the souls wandered the world in search of purpose. They came here to find a way to stop Shakia," Esdad said walking along the tunnel wall. Arunue listened intently. Finally the two reached a chamber. A bright light shone in the middle of the chamber. "And so they found the way to stop him. By joining their souls together they became the Robe," Esdad said. "But without someone to physiclly use the power they had to give itwas useless." "So what happened. How'd Rail find the Robe," Arunue said. Esdad laughed. "More like how did the Robe find Rail. The Robe's power is too strong for any mortal to posses. They needed an immortal to use it. But the only one who could use it was evil. Rail had come to destroy Trinia and found the Robe. Now. You must understand that the Robe could not take things out of existence like now. Only badly damage," he said. "She offered an alliance with Shakia before she found it but he refused. Rail stumbled upon the tunnel and took the power of the Robe. This was perfect for the dead souls of all the citizens of Trinia. She used it on the Realm, knocking Shakia into the newly built: Realm of Imaginations," Esdad said. Arunue nodded not seeing how this made her the chosen one. "Now. For your answer. Rail dissapeared for many years. During those years Asgard allowed souls to come to finally. The souls of the Robe wished to finally rest in peace. They tortured Rail so finally she decided to get rid of it. She gave it to an old women. A very cunning yet peaceful and loving women much like yourself," Esdad said. "And that women was your ancestor Arunue. The Robe knew that it could escape now but at the cost of someone's joyeous life. So it made your ancestor younger and stronger. Your ancestor strengthened it also. Enough for it to be able to destroy existence itself. Thus attracting the ever watchful Hawk. The Robe linked itself to your ancestor and lived within her. The two became one. Hawk never got the Robe because of your ancestors strength. Although she could not kill Hawk she kept him from his dream," Esdad said. Arunue smiled att he thought of her ancestor being strong. She would have to live up to that. "Hawk finally got her however. She stopped his pursuit by killing herself. The Robe diminished and the souls became free," Esdad said. "Then how come I have the Robe now," Arunue asked? Esdad frowned. "If it had not been for Rail the RObe would be gone still. Rail returned to wreak havoc and she gained the Robe by seeking out all the old souls in which it inhabited. SHe forced them to combineand she took it. Now the Robe has a new quest to fulfill. To defeat Hawk. Touch it Arunue," Esdad said pointing at the Robe that stood before Arunue. They had remained in the chamber through that lengthy explanation. "With the power of the old Robe and the Reconstructed Robe they should become one more powerful Robe that may be able to destroy things that do not exist. And thus giving you the power to destroy anything. Hawk and his sons," Esdad said. Arunue nodded. She touched the glowing light. Suddenly her tatoos glowed lighter than ever. A blinding flash of light surrounded the the chamber. New symbols appeared on Arunue's tatoo. "It understand me now. That I will free their souls after evil is diminished. Thank you Esdad," Arunue said brightly. Esdad smiled. "Now one of your friends is in trouble. You must rescue him. But remember. Only with a great deal of damage may be you finally destroy Hawk," Esdad said. Arunue nodded. "I will take you out of here. Arunue. Know that Hawk is not existent. A being of great mystery. He is not in the physical world and you must find him elsewhere," he said. Arunue nodded. Esdad made a hand motion and suddenly Arunue dissapeared to rescue her friend. Skitto
When Arunue thought back to it when she was on her way to Toshi, going through the space time continuum so that she would get to Toshi in no time at all as far as anyone else was concerned, had no idea how after Riv had destroyed him and she had seen his dead face, Esdad had walked out of the white blankness of Yggdrasil again, right beside his dead body. For Arunue, this would give her an hour to think about it while the rest of the confusion of infinite infinities (let's just call it the WGMM (whole general mish mash) for now) slipped through the smallest fraction of the smallest decimal amount of the smallest amount of time you can think of. OCC: Sry so short, work in 1hr. gee, I wish I could be doing the same thing as Arunue right now... THEN I WOULDN'T BE LATE!
Box Hoy
OCC- You know. I have no lcue as to what the hell you're talking about. Infinites infinite and decimels and the smallest. Try editing that so it makes some sense. That's the reason why it's slowing down. Nobody understnad anything. And also. Esdad and Arunue are the only two in Yggradisil. Everyone else reapeared mysteriously after the blast that Uni and Ios created which sent them away. Please edit again. IC- The feather of the crow floated before Toshi. "You're mine now Kodurama," Hawk said. Toshi closed his eyes. "I won't stop yet. Not after all that we've been through. I can't let you," Toshi yelled. Suddenly a light came from within Toshi. His entire body was enveloped in it. "W-what is this," Hawk said. Toshi was surrounded by mysterious light. It started to fade into a ball of in Toshi's hands. A voice came to his head. "If you truly wish to save your world than you must come to the result. All consequences and decisions must be taken into consideration. This power will stop your enemy in the physical world but beyond here there is nothing it can do," the voice said. Toshi realized that the power he had would destroy Hawk in his physical copy. Kieko
Celestia, Asunan and Mereduin were leading the group, hovering a few feat above their heads, while Yeix, Rayne, and Gaitei were in a group behind them, Yeix and Rayne chatting while Gaitei looked at his feet, and then came Symoni, Veil and Kieko behind them. Kieko looked up at Celestia. “Can’t we go any faster?” She asked impatiently. “By the time we get there, the others may already be dead.” “No. I can barely sense Hawk as it is. If we go any faster, I might lose the signal.” Celestia replied. Kieko gave a sigh and looked straight ahead. “So, does anyone want to explain to me where Rein and Garren are?” Symoni asked Kieko and Veil. “You know how we appeared in this realm after… “it” happened?” Kieko didn’t want to dwell on the memory of their homes being destroyed along with all those lives. “Yeah.” “Well apparently when Garren and Rein crossed over, well, they didn’t wake up themselves. They woke up as re-incarnations of themselves. Rein is now Yeix,” Kieko said pointing to Yeix, “and Garren,” Kieko pointed to Gaitei, “is now Gaitei.” Symoni looked a little upset, hearing that her lover had turned into someone else. “Is there any way to bring them back to their old selves?” She asked anxiously. “Yes, there is a way, but we don’t know exactly how to do it. Izzy, Riv’s re-incarnation, turned back into Riv when he was given Lemaria by Yeix. I think that re-acquainting strong relationships from a past life, whether it’s to an animal, person, or inanimate object, brings that person back. But that’s just my guess. I’m probably wrong anyway.” Veil piped up. “No, that sounds pretty reasonable.” Kieko agreed. “Yeah. Maybe you’re right.” Symoni added, looking hopeful. Anyone could tell from the look on her face that she wanted it to be true so that she could bring Rein back. She would need him not only for her child, but for herself and her happiness. “Hey! I’ve found a stronger signal! Time to speed up!” Celestia said and she, Asunan and Mereduin sped off, Yeix, Gaitei, and Rayne picking up speed behind them. “Finally.” Kieko breathed. Then, turning to Symoni and Veil she spoke. “Time to go!” She said before darting off behind the others.
No
OOC- Guess what! Im here! ^^; And well Kieko...Symoni already had her baby before you guys found her. Sorry for not making that clear at all. *Feels bad for not being here for most of this RP* I think this might be short and I'm sorry if it is...I have no clue what to put in this post at all. ----------------------------------------------- IC- Symoni heard the explaination from Veil and how a Lemaria can possibly bring back someone's past life if its done by a lover. She honestly had a hope that it would work and she could have Rein back, wanting him to at least see what his daughter looked like. She remembered what she had to do to find all of her old friends and find out about Rein not waking up. It hurt her but had that hope that she could bring him back. Thinking it over as she ran up behind them soon catching up to Veil and asked rather quietly so only Veil could hear. "So, where exactly can you find this Lemaria?"
Box Hoy
Rayne ran after Celestia and her group. "Where are you Toshi," he pondered. Gaitei watched the road ahead aware of everything around him. Yeix had heard what the girls had been saying. He didn't really know this Symoni person however she did seem very familiar. And of course he knew that he had been her lover in the past life and that he now had a daughter but he had a new life now. Something caught Rayne's eyes as he passed a clump of trees. Two red looking eyes were coming out from the shadow of the trees. Rayne shook his head and focused on the path ahead. "Do not look away Rayne," said a voice in his head. Rayne continue to run confused as to what had spoken to him. "I can see you everywhere you go," said the voice. Rayne shook his head. "Get out of my mind Hawk," Rayne said aloud. Gaitei looked over. "You're truly a risky one aren't you. But a fool. Wait until you reach the ruins of Krii and you'll understand why," Hawk said in Rayne's thoughts. Meanwhile, Toshi watched Hawk's every movement. The ball of light in his hands. "I can escape you know," Toshi said. Hawk laughed. "Not if you want to keep your friends alive for awhile longer. Remember. This body is only a puppet of my power and that I am on a higher plain of existence. I can use as many as I need, when I need them, and where I need them," Hawk said. Toshi continued to watch Hawk. "You wouldn't," he said. Hawk smirked. "If you're quick you can save them. Or you can fight me here and now and lose your mind to me," Hawk said. Toshi contemplated this in his mind. It was him or his friends. but if he went with his friends, he'd have a shot at keeping them alive. "What's it going to be," Hawk said. Toshi held the light in his hands. It was hot. Burning hot. Somehow it seemed as if it was telling him he'd made the right decision. "I choose to save my friends," Toshi said. The light glowed harder and blinded Hawk as it approached faster and faster. Hawk dissolved and nothing was left. "Now time to save my friends," Toshi said. He disapeared at the mountain where he'd nearly been killed. "They're not here," he said to himself. Toshi closed his eyes. The lights shown again under the darkness that his eyelids provided when closed. "Alright. Time to go," he said. His feet came off the ground. "Here I come guys," he said. Toshi flew through the forest. His speed created an imense air tunnel that followed him. Rayne instantly realized what had just happened. He saw the thing jump out from the shadow of the tree. It disapeared. Rayne stopped walking. Hawk appeared before him. Gaitei and Yeix stopped when they noticed this. Rayne withdrew his axe and flung it at Hawk. "You're truly pathetic," Hawk said. He grabbed the axe and flung it and Rayne into a tree. This form was smaller than the last and only wore a black cloak. It's arm had extended from under the cloak to stop Rayne's axe. Gaitei dissapeared and tried to attack Hawk. He punched at Hawk's head only to be flung form Hawk's backside to his front. Yeix withdrew his sword and went in for a killing blow. Hawk dissapeared and reappeared behind Yeix. "Pitiful," he said. He kicked the back of Yeix's head which made Yeix fall face first into the ground. Symoni gasped putting her hand over her mouth. Suddenly Celestia and Asunan appeared before Hawk. Merudian came running from behind and the three did a triple punch. Hawk created a barrier around himself of energy and the three went flying backwards. Kieko glared at Hawk. "I thought you wanted to relieve the pain in this world," she yelled. Hawk smiled. "Not without some fun," he said. Kieko attacked only to be smacked in the face. She hit the ground hard. Symoni watched Kieko fall. Veil and Symoni stood in fear of Hawk's power. "Hmm. He's late," Hawk said. Symoni turned to see Toshi landing on the ground. "Wipe that smirk off your face Hawk," Veil yelled. She stuck her tounge out at him. Symoni did the same. "Let me handle this," said a voice coming from behind Hawk. Arunue stood there before Hawk.
Skitto
Yet again, Rimnil came from behind the treeline, his body slinking on the ground and leaving a giant trail of slime on the forest floor. He lifted his hand, and more creatures than before came out from the trees, his army. Trolls, leviathans, warlocks, evil wizards, witches, hydras, goblins, harpies, dragons, black unicorns, and many, many more. Rayne ran straight into the mass of the army, killing random beings with random attacks, as his logic told him he should. "Come on!" he yelled at the others, "Help me!" Yeix shook his head, then said back, since it wasn't loud enough for him to need to yell, "They'll just keep dividing. We need to find a way to destroy kill them without physically damaging them!" he started to yell at the end because a almost deafening roar came upon all them, the army was plugging their ears, as were Veil, Kieko, Symoni and Arunue, and Rayne and Yeix were trying to ignore it and find its source. But Rimnil and Hawk were looking to the sky directly above them, and Toshi came down on Rimnil, killing him on impact from the shockwave. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Riv landed on the rocky shore of the island. There was a cliff about fifteen paces into the beach and nothing to help Riv get up it other than to climb. Riv climbed. When he was standing on the edge of the cliff, looking at the battered old ruins of the villiage he said only one thing, "Krii." No one was in the villiage of Krii, at least no one he could see. He felt presences everywhere he went in the villiage, scared, frustrated, or angry. Always one, never a combination of the three. He went to the old two story building that used to be his home, then to the old shack by the main entrance to the villiage. He went inside, sensing more powerful presences inside. As soon as he was inside the shack, he saw seven men, dressed in white tunics, all old and bearded, ghostly looking in the little light that the four torches put into the small, wicker walled room. Their eyes were closed, their mouths were shut, and Riv sat down among their ranks. The man in the middle, the oldest of them all, was the first to speak, "You wish to know what we cannot tell you, leave now or you will die." Riv shook his head, "You gave me Lemaria, why can't you tell me?" he said, not angry, just asking. "We are not the ones who created the sword, only Odin knows, and he is long dead. I say this for your own good, leave now or you will die." "NO!!!" now Riv was angry, "I want to know! You're supposed to be wisemen! You have access to the spiritual resources the same as the allfather did. You can access his knowledge and tell me. SO TELL ME!" before the old man could speak, Riv went on, "Why do I have all these questions inside my head? Why have I come here? How and why did Lemaria spring to life on its own and kill Esdad?" Riv stopped, because as soon as he said "Esdad" all the wisemen looked straight at him and spoke to him as one, "Esdad cannot be killed, he is truly immortal, what you say is either a lie or an illusion." Riv was annoyed, "IF YOU CAN'T TELL ME THEN YOU'RE USELESS!!" Lemaria came to life again and started attacking the wisemen, they leapt into the air and were semitransparent, ghosts. Lemaria formed spears and ran them through, then sliced them into bits. Their spirits were destroyed. The sliced bits faded away and so did the room, then the other presences... then the island. Box Hoy
OCC- Thanks Skitto. That explains one part. But still, how did you and Esdad get together. Edit that one post and explain please. IC- Toshi put his sword away and turned to the group. "What," he said. Arunue blinked a couple of times and Veil was wide eyed. Everthing was silent for a couple of moments. "What was that," Yeix finally said breaking the silence. Toshi scratched the back of his head. "What was what," he asked? Arunue shook her head. "You just annihilated Hawk when you fell. Using some sort of soundwave, you came out fot eh sky and just killed his copy," she said. "I know. I've gotten alot stronger," Toshi said. Rayne laughed. "You couldn't get that strong that fast. What is it really," he said. Toshi suddenly noticed the small army that Rimnil was leading. Arunue stepped forward. "Before any explaning is done we've got to finish this off," she said. Rimnil laughed. "Sorry doll-face. That's not happening," he said. She walked towards him. "I may have not been able to destroy you once but this time...," she stopped raising her arm. "I'll finish you," she said. Her tatoo glowed with immense light. Suddenly the beam fired but it was different this time. When it fired off it was larger and more violent and rapid. It hit Rimnil hard. Instantly his body dissolved. The other creatures and warriors that had been in his army looked to Arunue. "Get out of here or that will happen to you too," she said. The army fled quickly into the forest. She turned to the group. "So why have you gotten stronger Toshi," Arunue asked? Toshi looked to the group. "Well, before I explain. Can we eat something," he asked.
Imp
OOC: Hmmm... Asunan and Mereduin can't fly, and Mereduin prefers to hurl fireballs and flames at her opponents... but oh well. IC: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Everyone else answered with a satisfied "yes"--they were somewhat tired after the battle. Toshi then sensed that someone was missing from the group... He looked around and muttered some sort of roll call... "Veil, Symoni, Arunue, Gaitei, Yeix, Rayne, Kieko, Cel... huh? Where's Celestia? And... Where did Asunan go? Mereduin's gone too!" "What do you mean?" Mereduin giggled, standing behind Toshi. "I'm here!" "But where's your sister?" "Ummmm..." Mereduin looked around to see that neither Celestia nor Asunan were with the group. They had somehow disappeared. "Eh, I bet they found some place to eat before us," Gaitei assumed. The rest of the group shrugged and walked on. Meanwhile... Celestia had been in some sort of trance for the last five minutes. She woke up only to find herself on a plain near a forest. To her left lay a small cottage which she immediately recognized. "My house!" she realized. "But how... how did I get here? I... remember that I went to the world where Toshi and the others were when I walked along in the forest, and I last remember walking through the forest in that world... Yeah, I was fighting a harpy and disappeared... What is it with forests?" As she was contemplating this, she gave a groan of embarrassment. She looked down at the ground as she sensed her mother coming straight for her. "Celestia, you're back!!" she cried, hugging Celestia when she approached her. "I thought I would never see you again... you've changed, really... I never thought..." But she was interrupted by Celestia losing her temper and flinging her mother to the side with her telekinetic powers. "Sorry, Mom, I have business to take care of and must go. I'll see you later." "But Celestia, it's dangerous out..." "I KNOW!!! But it's no big deal! I could kill you with my powers if I had the chance. How do you think enemies would feel about that? Goodbye, and I hope not to return here until I get finished in that other world!" Celestia shouted in a rush. Before her mother could ask, "Where's Mereduin?", Celestia flew off towards the forest and landed when she got there. She began to walk into the depths of the woods and closed her eyes, letting her intuition guide her. Now, let me think... she thought. Right before I went to the other world, I was... darn... no, I... wait, I sensed someone's presence at that time... not a person, a... harpy? The same one I fought before I came back here? Weird... Then, something far away got her attention, and she flew right over the forest in this "other world"... Meanwhile... Asunan arrived in a deserted island where there was a town in ruins. This Asunan immediately recognized as Krii--she and the group had gone there before on one of their quests. She started to walk into Krii and noticed a small tunnel which Asunan recognized even more. She thought back to a time when her group--the Star Knights--had dug a hideout there as one of their many homes. She then climbed in, chanting a secret password that allowed her entry into a little cave. Inside, she saw a girl dressed in all black, looking at what looked like an altar at the edge of the room. Asunan took a few steps forward and recognized the girl--her name was Katea, one of the girls who was recognized as the leader of the group. Kates spun around, her eyes widening when she saw Asunan. "Asunan, is that you? It can't be..." Katea muttered, sounding surprised. "How did I get here? Did you summon me here with your powers of darkness?" "No, I..." she said in a scared tone. But before she could finish the sentence, explosions occurred everywhere. "Lemaria!" Asunan exclaimed. "It's gone mad!!!" "Lemaria... what..." Katea started. The two girls climbed out of the cave to find out that the whole town was disappearing bit by bit. Homes were destroyed, and people vanished without a trace. "No, this could be us too!" Asunan panicked. Next to her, Katea chanted some sort of spell that formed a dark shield around her. Asunan did the same thing, hoping she could make the shield for two people at a time... Both girls closed their eyes, but Katea was heard screaming. She had perhaps broken her concentration and vanished with the rest. After the whole island vanished, Asunan heard a tiny voice that said, "Keep up the spirit of the Star Knights... I was wrong to turn you down as the leader..." Asunan then dropped her shield and then took on a soothing glow... For a moment, she glimpsed Riv, but then she drew her attention back to herself. She was enclosed with a swirl of runes and fog, and certain incantations could be heard only by her, coming from the fog. Asunan closed her eyes and waited, and before long, she emerged from the glow and fell towards the sea. But some involuntary force within her created some sort of canoelike boat that caught her before she fell into the water. Riv watched all this and shrugged, then sighed. He looked at Lemaria in his hand, amazed yet sad that he accidentally destroyed his home. OOC: Ah, yes, this is the chapter of disappearing people... four so far... Box Hoy
Toshi continued to walk along the path. "Something is telling me Celestia and Asunan didn't leave to find some food," Merudian said softly. Toshi looked back at her but didn't reply. He felt destruction. All around him. Rayne's black hair flew in the wind. I feel it as well Toshi he thought. His eyes were watching every movement. "Hawk's on a rampage now," Toshi said out of nowhere. Arunue instantly perked up. "He's destroying everything," Toshi continued. The others were alert to what Toshi had said as well. "What do you mean," Gaitei said. Toshi stopped and turned his head to the right. "Hawk's power is limitless so he could make millions of copies of himself if he wanted too. And I think that's what he's doing...," Toshi said. He closed his eyes. Hard winds were starting to blow all around them. "He's going to destroy everything," Toshi said. Just as he said it two presences dissapeared from his feelings. "Uni. Ios," Toshi said. "He's destroyed them." Kieko and Symoni looked to each other in confusion. "Toshi. What are you talking about. Toshi turned around. "Hawk's destroyed Uni and Ios. I don't think he needs them anymore. He's going to do everything by himself," he said. Everyone was quiet. Uni and Ios were gone. "But that would only mean that his abilites have grown more and his power has heightened," Kieko said. Toshi nodded. "He knows where we are too. We haven't gotten far enough away from our last battle to ditch him yet," Toshi said. Hiroshi withdrew his sword. "Then it's time to fight," he said. Toshi shook his head. "If I die then he is even closer to getting to Yggradisil," Toshi said. Gaitei walked up to Toshi. "What are you hiding," he said. Toshi stared at Gaitei for a couple of seconds. "Uni and Ios were the first two verses of the universe. I'm the third yet I didn't know it until Hawk told it to me. He hasn't had enough power until now to ultamitly kill me. He was about to kill me when something gave me the power to eliminate his physical forms. I believe however gave me my new powers came from Yggradisil," Toshi said. Gaitei stepped back a bit. Toshi sighed. "Gaitei. With the powers I hold I could make you yourself again. As with you Yeix. We need your powers more than anything right now," Toshi said. Gaitei looked to Yeix who had approached. "I know we all want out old world back. Within each of us holds memories of our old universe. With these memories we can restore our homes and continue our world. Riv and Krii have returned because Izzy knew he could restore them with his memories. You must live as your former selves if our old universe is to return. With my new powers I can help you come back. And as your former selves we can defeat Hawk and go home," Toshi said. "Do you accept," Toshi asked?
ArunueShekamari
OOC- ^^;; sorry I haven't been posting...but....YOU PEOPLE HAVE REALLY TAKEN THIS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY OUT OF PROPORTION!!!!!!......there...hehe. IC- Gaitei looked at Toshi, then at the rest of the group. "Well?" Toshi asked. Gaitei just looked at the group, scanning through the faces. Arunue and Hiroshi were gone.[not that hiro was there for verry long ^^;;] Hiroshi had his arm slung around his little sister. He kissed her on the cheek and she smiled. "This is all too confusing for my liking." Arunue said, still smiling. Hiroshi grinned and nodded. "We'll go back when everything is straightened out with them and such." Arunue said, refering to the group. "Yeah," Hiroshi sighed, "We got a pretty big group goin' don't we?" Arunue nodded. She sat beside a tree and he sat beside her. Arunue rested her head on her brothers shoulder. "I never liked to be around too many people," she said, "It's nice to be alone for once, even though it will probably only last a few minutes." Hiroshi grinned and pulled her closer to him. "Yeah, savour it. This might be our last few minutes of tranquility for a long time." he said, quietly. "Do ya think we should be gettin' back now?" Hiroshi asked. Arunue sighed. "I don't know. Maybe." She stood up and nodded. "Lets go." she said reluctantly. She wanted to stay there and not go back to battle. If you could even call it that. She just wanted it to be over. OOC- *has bad writers block* O.O
Muad'Dib
OOC: Gaaah.... this is so f*cked up... don't even ask. ~~~ Gaitei's luminous eyes sunk to the ground, shifting again and again. Suddenly faced with the decision of returning- how could he call it returning when he couldn't even remember his past life?- to his former self, and maybe even being able to have Arunue love him, he couldn't speak at all. He wasn't even sure if he would be himself if he was Garren... what would be the point of having someone love you if you weren't... you? He couldn't stand this decision- what must he do? His hands clenched into fists, deep in thought and stress. Toshi stepped closer to him. "Gaitei, what will it be?" Gaitei looked up, right into Toshi's eyes. "Just... just do it..." He resisted letting a tear fall down his face. Would he ceast to exist except as Garren? Would he ever know he was Gaitei? But... he was Garren to begin with... it was too complicated for him to think about. He only prayed he could hold on to memories of his own life. Imp
I accept, Celestia and Asunan said telepathically to Toshi in unison. Both had overheard Toshi's "speech", or, rather, read it in his thoughts. You too? Celestia sent a telepathic signal to Asunan. My home was just destroyed, Asunan answered. And, this new power... came over me. ...Do you remember Katea, the previous leader of the Star Knights? Perhaps you don't--that was in our previous mission... "Katea..." Celestia said to herself. "That name sort of rings a bell..." Celestia, you were wondering about how you were transported between your home and this world? Asunan asked. You know, I think it does have something to do with that harpy business... You know, when I transformed into Ravene in our battle against Morak, I felt like some force connected me to another world, another power source... It's almost like I fused with someone or something... Wait, Celestia, behind you... Celestia shrugged; she knew someone was approaching her. "Hi, Celestia..." said a voice. "Forgive me for being blunt, but I'm actually the reincarnation--sort of--of Maridra." Celestia turned around and saw a harpy--the first talking one she met in her life. "If that name sounds troubling to you, though," the harpy continued, "you may now call me Ametite, if that sounds better." "Wait--don't tell me--I know where this is going..." Celestia started to say. "Heh," Ametite interrupted. "Give your psychic powers a rest and let me do the talking. You first appeared in Krii when I transported you there. Morak secretly let me do that so that he could destroy you faster. You know, kind of like a black lottery thing. He picked you at random, isn't that funny?" "He picked me because I had special powers that could enable me to stop him if the right steps were taken," Celestia corrected. "Now, doesn't it make sense to destroy the strongest first to..." Then, she stopped. Wait... she thought. Hawk's not destroying the strongest first... he's... no, wait, he did intend to destroy us first, but he met harsh resistance, so he fled to increase his power. "Yeah," Celestia continued. "He wanted to destroy the rest of the group and I before we got any stronger. It... seems psychology is different with Hawk." "You were thinking about Hawk," Ametite clarified. "How interesting..." "Maybe you can help... no," Celestia started to say, but she caught herself. "I know you, you wouldn't help a human." Ametite blushed at Celestia's realization. "But," Celestia continued, "could you bring me back?" "Well, yeah," Ametite answered in a tone of displeasurement. "Humans in my forest bring back terrible memories, but that's another story..." She pointed to a nearby tree, where a portal stood wide open. Celestia walked through it to find herself back with Toshi and the rest of the group. When Celestia arrived, the rest of the group turned to her with looks of confusion. A few seconds later, a shadowy spiral appeared behind the group. This diverted the group's attnetion to it. When the spiral vanished, in its place was Asunan. "Heh, I guess I can teleport as well?" Asunan said with humor and uncertainty. Some people laughed at this, but Toshi frowned and looked towards the two newly arrived girls with a confused look. "I know your worries," Celestia commented. "But it's a long story..." Some of the next few moments were spent by Celestia and Asunan telling the group (some of) what happened while they were away and what they learned.
Box Hoy
Toshi looked a little annoyed but happy that Asunan and Celestia were okay. "Okay. I was about to bring Garren back before this all happened," Toshi said. Celestia made a weak smile as did Asunan. Toshi turned to Gaitei. "Remember that you'll exist within us, Gaitei," Toshi said. He held his hand out over Gaitei's head. "The time we spent with you was great. You'll always be remembered among us. We'll miss you Gaitei," Toshi said. Kieko, Rayne, Yeix, Celestia, Asunan, Merudian, Symoni, and Veil all watched the transformation happen. There was a blinding flash. Garren stood before the entire group. "Heys guys," he said. Meanwhile The kingdom of Rebbidon went up in flames. Screams could be heard from all over. A single Hawk copy stood in the middle of kingdom. Debris flew every which way and the flames created more devastation. "You chose to let this world be destroyed the hard way," Hawk said. He laughed. "I could have made it easy on everyone and in a flash everything would be gone. But you chose to let it go down the deathly slow and painful way. Soon you'll be begging me to end your suffering," Hawk said silently. Hawk began to turn when he heard a faint voice. "Who still lives," Hawk said. The smoke was thick. Nothing could see what was behind it. Suddenly a sword came through the smoke. Hawk smiled. "So you finally decided to show up. You're lucky you weren't reincarnated differently," Hawk said. Through the smoke came a warrior dressed head to toe in armor. He wore a black cape and his armor was silverish with a small green tint. "You're god type powers are no more, Odin," Hawk said. Muad'Dib
Garren looked around, dazed and altogether unsure of what was going on. He looked down at his hands as if making sure everything was real. "Uh... what's, uh... what's goin' on guys?" He said awkwardly, curious as to how everyone was here- where ever 'here' was. Toshi put a hand on Garren's shoulder. "Welcome back, Garren." Garren looked even more confused now. " 'Welcome back'? But where... how..." he didn't know witch question to ask first. Scanning the group around him, he saw familiar faces and just a few unfamiliar. He didn't, however, see the one he was hoping to. "Where's Arunue?" The others all seemed to look around. "Yeah..." Toshi said, "Where is Arunue?" ~~~ Gaitei's consciousness sat in the deepest reaches of Garren's subconscious, barely even existing. So this... this is Garren...
ArunueShekamari
IC- Toshi felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and Arunue grinned. "Didga miss me?" she said with a slight laugh on the end. Toshi smiled for a minute then leaned his head twords Garren. Arunue's grin fadded almost instantly and she took a smal step backwards out of instinct. ".Arunue.." Garren said slowly. Arunue hung her head and walked away, to sit beside a tree. "Well, I expected a bigger reaction." said Toshi, slightly confused. Garren walked over to her and sat beside her, putting his arm around her. She sat with her knees up to her chest and hiding her face. OOC- Damn that was short...... .-.
Box Hoy
You'll fail Hawk," Odin said finally. Hawk laughed at Odin's first few words than looked him straight in the eye. "What power do you have that my other enemies don't," Hawk said. "Even with the power of the Robe, Arunue has yet to find my true self. And when she does it will mean that the end of your world has come." Odin shook his head. "You're mistaken. She is cautious enough to avoid your attacks and when she does find you she'll destroy you," Odin said. Hawk laughed at this comment more than the last. "There are parts of her I have yet to see. Her feelings are a mystery all together. Her reactions to situations are always unexpected. You'll see that she can outsmart you Hawk," Odin said. Hawk did not reply. "The least I can do is help her by destroying your copies," Odin said. He rushed forward. Hawk was taken by surprise and stabbed in the side by Odin's sword. Hawk looked down at the sword within his body. "Curse this physical world and it's drawbacks," Hawk said. His body dissolved to nothing. Odin stood in the sunset. The fire burned out of control all around him. "I wonder. What has become of Asgard," he said. Meanwhile... Rayne sat back against a tree. He didn't much care too get involved in all this love drama. His axe lay next to him. How long is this going to take he thought. The sun was nearing the edge of the land now so it would be getting dark soon. Might as well go and get some fire wood and food. This is going to be one long night.
