[Box Hoy]

Toshi noticed Gaitei. He could relate. He didn't have his love with him either and didn't know where anybody was.
"C'mon Gaitei. Let's get some food for lunch," Toshi said. Izzy instantly popped up. "Can I come too," he asked? Toshi nodded easily. For once in his life he wanted to be with his friends at peace.

Their final encounter with Shakia left a scar on Toshi. Could desire drive them to stay themselves. Everyone here had something they had desired greatly in the past universe. But then that couldn't be true.
Garren would've wanted Arunue more than anything in a moment like that. Izzy would've wanted to stay with his friends and finish what he had started.
But they had been reincarnated differently.
Toshi looked up at the trees. Fruits hung down from them. "Izzy. You've lived in this world longer than alot of us. What kind of fruit is that," Toshi asked?

Izzy scratched his head. "Oh yeah. It's Ruuple. It tastes really good but if you eat to much it can give you a series of really bad stomach aches," he said.
Toshi nodded. "Sounds good. Whaddya guys say we play a prank on Arunue," Toshi said. Gaitei smiled but inside he knew this wasn't a good idea.

O.O.C- WHAAA? trying to kill me now arent you!? bah! EVIL!

I.C.- Arunue watched as Toshi came back with abour 5 of the Ruuple fruits, and a big basket of some other fruit. She wasn't too hungry, but sence they went through to trouble of getting the fruit, she'd have to eat some.
"Here, Arunue! We picked these especially for you. He held out the 5 Ruuple fruits. Arunue laughed softly. "I'm not [I]that[/I] hungry." She said as she picked up one of the fruits. She nibbled on it quietly for a few minutes. Toshi realized that she wasn't going to eat them all. Toshi then turned to hiroshi with the four remaining fruits. "Ahaha! You'r nuts." Hiroshi said to him. Obviously he knew the nature of the fruit. toshi scowled and sat down, his plan ruined.

[Box Hoy]

Uni's eyes looked to the right immeadiatly. He felt their presence. Ios looked back at his brother. "Have you found them," Ios asked.
Uni nodded. "The game begins now," he said.

Meanwhile

Toshi tossed the ruuple up in the air and swung his sword at it. The blade connected. The fruit seemed to be uneffected for a second but then it fell to the ground in two equal peices.
Izzy clapped. Toshi bowed.

"Thank you. Thank you everyone," Toshi said to the one member in his audience.
Izzy laughed.

Toshi picked the ruuple halves up and ate them. Not like one one would hurt him.

Gaitei sat at the edge of the cave and watched the clouds pass. He was entranced by them. "What's with Gaitei," Hiroshi asked?
Toshi shrugged.

Gaitei was in his own little world, ignoring just about everything around him. He of course, was thinking back to earlier... Arunue had kissed him. In that moment he had felt that connection witch his past self must have felt with her. What surprised hi most was that he wasn't surprised. It was as if he had expected it, some natural feeling from Garren.

Maybe... was it possible his original nature, Garren's nature, could be within him? Could Arunue see that?

Gaitei's senses began to ping... everything seemed to go slower for a fraction of a second. He looked up- Uni and Ios had found them.[/COLOR]

Arunue fell over. Toshi looked at her. "What," he said seeing her point. He turned. His eyes became wide.
Uni smirked. "Hiding in a cave eh," he said. Toshi withdrew his sword. Uni looked at him. "Trying to be courageous again are we," Uni said.
Toshi eyed Uni. "This is our battle Uni. Not your brothers. Not any of my friends. Ours," he said. Arunue raised her eyebrow.

Uni smiled. "If that's what you wish," Uni said. He disapeared. Toshi started floating. A ring appeared around him and then he dissapeared along with it.
Ios smiled at the rest of the group. "Well now. Guess he's giving me all the fun," Ios said.

Toshi appeared in a place far from her. His eyes were closed. They opened slowly. "What," he said. Sand surrounded him as far as the eye could see.

Uni grabbed Toshi from behind. "You're pitiful," he said. He flung Toshi into the air. Uni launched himself off from the ground.
The air moved wildly all around him. Toshi was still flying upwards. He situated himself so he would slow.
Not enough time for that. Uni came up above Toshi.
"So Kodurama," Uni said, "You're still alive." Toshi closed his eyes and began to float in mid air. Uni awaited an answer.
"You'll never stop me Uni," Toshi said. And with that he flew through the air towards Uni. He stopped near Uni and slashed with his sword. But missed
Uni held up his hand. The tatoo began to glow. "You're death is inevitable Toshi Kodurama. This is your end," he said.
As the beam flew out of Uni's hand Toshi dodged by flying downwards. He flew upwards. "No, Uni. This is your end," Toshi said.
He slashed the arm with Uni's tatoo off. Uni looked at his arm. Suddenly a light flew upwards from where Uni's arm had fell.
It circled around Toshi's arm and then formed on it. Toshi screamed out in pain. Uni laughed. He took his other arm and went in for a killing blow.
Something appeared before Toshi. A sheild. Uni's other arm dissolved as it entered the shield. He yelled out in pain.
Toshi looked at his arm. The tatoo had formed on him. "What is this," he said. Uni looked at Toshi. "I will not end now," Uni said. He flew towards Toshi.
Toshi raised his arm. The tatoo glowed as Uni grew closer. Suddenly there was a blinding flash of light.

Toshi opened his eyes. Uni was nowhere to be seen. Toshi looked everwhere. There was nothing. He looked at his arm again.
Something filled him with mysteries. He began to realize that he held the power. The power the chosen one must have. He knew who that had to be.
Arunue Kalamara.

Toshi looked at not his tatoo but Arunue's. This was hers and he knew it. He was the key to saving the universe.
Toshi realized that Ios must still have been in the cave with the others. He had to stop Ios.

The ring appeared again around Toshi and he dissapeared.

[color=navy][i]OOC: I'm going to start posting more, I've just been busy since I got back... even though you probably think that's not an excuse... and I don't think so either, so there's nothing I can say except that I'm sorry and I will try to post more. :sweat:

Kieko was lying on the cave floor, hands under her head, her eyes tracing a path around the maze of rocks hanging from the cave ceiling. A loud thud brought her back to reality and she turned her head sharply to where it came from. She turned it a little too sharply because she pulled something in her neck that made her brain ache on the right side and made her bolt up, clutching her head.

"Hiding in a cave eh?" Someone said from the mouth of the cave.[/I]

I know that voice… [I]Kieko thought.

“Trying to be courageous again are we?" the voice said again. Then Kieko heard Toshi speak.
"This is our battle Uni. Not your brothers. Not any of my friends. Ours," he said.[/I]

I knew it. I knew they would find us sooner or later. [I]Kieko’s head was still throbbing, so she didn’t look up. Although it started to subside just then.

"If that's what you wish," Uni said.

Kieko looked up just in time to see Toshi and Uni disappear and Ios smirking at the group. Kieko stood up and quickly formed a fighting stance and drew her daggers next to the others who had done the same. Ios chuckled a little.

“This is amusing. You people actually think you can beat me? Did you not see what my brother and I did to your pathetic realms? How can you even[/I] hope [I]to match even[/I] half [I]of that power?” Ios said with a strange grin on his face. It was a cross between a forced smile and a smile you’d expect from an evil scientist about to put his latest world-destroying device to the test.
“We’ll see how tough you are when we’ve pounded you into a handful of dust.” Arunue threatened.

Ios said nothing, but kept his odd smile as if it was pasted onto his face. Then he attacked. He ran in a blur to Arunue and delivered a series of blows with his claws. Arunue did her best to block them, and she did a pretty good job until Ios attacked with both claws at once and one made a gash on Arunue’s shoulder. Gaitei rushed over and jumped on Ios’s back, wrapping his arms around his head and clinging on for dear life as Ios tried to buck him off. Gaitei managed to take out his sword, but Ios grabbed the arm that wasn’t hold the sword and threw Gaitei off to the side towards Arunue, who stepped out of the way and let Gaitei hit the cave wall. He got up and glared at Arunue.

“What was that for?” He asked.
“Hey, you would’ve knocked me into the wall, too. Any sensible person would step aside.” Arunue replied, getting ready to attack again.
Ios looked up just in time to see Kieko about to stab him in the heart with her daggers. He tried to knock her to the side, but hit her too late. He hit her in the side of the head, knocking her a few feet to the side, but her daggers stuck into his side as Kieko fell, dazed. She held on to her daggers and pulled them out, stepping back, trying to bring herself back to full consciousness, and regaining a fighting stance just as Ios hit her again, she went flying into the cave wall, making a dent and causing it to crack, making some rocks fall on a half-conscious Kieko. Arunue came from Ios’s side and stabbed his shoulder when he hit Kieko and Izzy joined the fight as Toshi re-appeared.[/color][/I]

[Box Hoy]

Arunue covered her eyes with her arm as a light shone everywhere.
Toshi stepped out of the light. It dissapated. Toshi held his arm up to Ios. Arunue watched as the tatoo began to glow.
Ios held his arm up and his tatoo began to glow as well.

The beams went off at each other. Celestia saw the beams connect. All noise stopped. Ios looked down at his arm. The tatoo was fading. He checked Toshi's.
It was fading as well.
Their beams stopped. Toshi stood there with his arm extended. He looked at where the tatoo would be. It was gone.
A light appeared between Toshi and Ios. It floated in mid air. Arunue stared at it. It began to move toward her. As it grew closer it split into two and reached towards Arunue's fore arms.

The tatoo's appeared upon her arms. Ios backed up a bit. Arunue stared at the symbols enblazened upon her arms. Toshi un sheathed his sword.
Ios grabbed Kieko from behind him. "If you attack me I'll kill her," Ios said. Arunue looked up. She understood the power that she controlled.

She stood. "Why are you scared Ios," Arunue said slowly smiling.

[color=purple]"What? I'm not scared," Ios answered. However, there was a hint of nervousness in his voice.
"You ARE scared," Celestia threatened. "I sense it. Those tattoos... They have a power hidden inside. That's what you're scared of, the power of... huh?" Celestia stopped short--she noticed something in the cave. "Guys, I'm going into the cave. Anyone who wants to come can. Something's...some[i]one[/i]'s... in there..." As she looked on, the group seemed too focused on Ios. Toshi and Izzy had their swords pointed at him, Arunue stood next to him and stared, and Kieko was in his grasp. Gaitei was watching Arunue closely. Hiroshi was the only one to hear Celestia.
"What's the point," Hiroshi replied. "There's nothing in there."
"Yes there is," Celestia reassured. "You just looked in the wrong places. Even if you can't sense it, I can, and there's [i]something[/i] happening in there that I'm very curious about, so..."
"We can use your help with Ios," Hiroshi said quickly.
"No," Celestia said automatically. "You've gone along fine without me, and you can continue to do so. But if you're in trouble, I'll be back in a little while..."
And before Hiroshi could shout "No!", Celestia darted into the cave. Even though it was too dark to see, she could use her powers to pinpoint the direction of things. Eventually, she came to a dimly firelit cavern. A girl in a sky blue cloak was fighting what looked like a winged purple dragon. The dragon blew a green flame at the girl, who jumped up to dodge it. Celestia crept closer to the scene, careful to not be seen by the dragon. An arrow and a rune clashed mid-air, and then a blast hit the girl and flung her against the wall. Celestia gasped and grabbed the girl, seized a nearby arrow and quickly put a spell on it (she was not sure if it sould work), and threw it at the dragon, hitting it in the chest. The dragon turned into a human, a woman wearing a simple shirt and skirt and a long, purple and green, hooded cape. It was Maridra, the one who tried to join Uni and Ios! She magically removed her arrow, and as Celestia started out of the cave holding the girl, Maridra followed, not too far behind, even though she could not fly. As the three exited the cave, Ios had dropped Kieko, and Arunue was jumping out of the way of an energy blast coming from Ios.

With her mind racing and her heart beating very quickly, Celestia flew up over the cave to a ledge on top of it. Maridra dove out of the cave, trying to grab Celestia's foot, but she failed and tumbled on the ground outside until she almost came to the edge of the ledge. As she looked up she saw Ios; he was trying to attack Arunue. Maridra stood up quickly, put her hands together as if she were praying, muttered something quickly, and flung her hands one by one at Arunue, shooting rune blasts at her which almost hit her two tattoos, burning on her skin and draining her energy slightly. Then she aimed for Toshi and Izzy, hitting them with the same spell and knocking Izzy's sword over the ledge to the ground below. As Izzy leaped over the ledge to grab his blade, what looked like blue vines emerged from the ground and immobilized him. Toshi tried the same thing and met the same fate. Gaitei leapt at Maridra, but she was too quick for him, flipping backwards with her hands out and flinging two green fireballs at him. She then ran over to Ios.
"Where's Uni?" she asked.
"Uni has disappeared," Ios answered. "But let me ask you this: Why did you just help me?"
"...Because... because I felt... it was my... duty..." Maridra stammered, unsure that what she just said was the right answer.

Meanwhile, Celestia had her attention on the girl from the cave.
"Wake up!" she whispered, shaking the girl as she lay on the ground. Eventually, the girl sat up, looking at Celestia dazedly. Celestia smiled.
"Welcome back, Asunan," she said sweetly. "Glad you're back to your old self."
"..Celestia?" Asunan said faintly. She shook her head violently, staring at Celestia with dark purple eyes. She smiled broadly and hugged Celestia tightly. "Celestia! Of course it's you! Long time no see!"
"I missed you!" Celestia cried. "You're the first real friend I met in a long time! Last time I saw you, you were Ravene, fighting Helios! But... I'm glad we're back together!" The two girls cried happily, embracing each other like good old friends.

Maridra watched this reunion and grew angry. Ios was still a little surprised by Maridra's attack on the rest of the group. He kept watch over them; Maridra's spells started to wear off...[/color]

[Box Hoy]

Toshi woke up. He was hanging from the ceiling, held by vines. Arunue hung next to him. She was still asleep.
Toshi closed his eyes. He swung his arms up and grabbed the vines and pulled. They ripped and he fell.
Toshi flipped down so he landed on his feet. He jumped up and grabbed the vines that held Arunue. He ripped them and she fell landing in his arms.
Toshi watched as she awoke.
"Hey. We got trouble," he said. Arunue opened her eyes wider. She realized where they were. Ios and Maridra were in another section but they could still hear them if they spoke to loud.
"Where's that bitch," Arunue asked as Toshi let her down.
"Somewhere else," Toshi said. Arunue looked into Toshi's eyes. "Are you sure," she said. Maridra and Ios turned the corner and Maridra's eyes widened.
Toshi turned and pulled his sword. Ios instantly leaped from where he was. Toshi did the same. Toshi drew back his sword and dodged Ios's incoming punch. He got under Ios and stabbed. Ios yelled but his wound quickly healed. Ios landed. Toshi did a back flip in mid air and landed crouching. Ios took off from where he was and tackled Toshi.
He yelled as the rock off of the ground scrapped his face and hands. Toshi's sword went flying to the side.
Arunue looked at it. Ios stood up and looked at the sword. He picked it up and with all his might shattered the blade.
Toshi watched in horror as his sword split into a million pieces. The blood from Toshi's face dripped onto the ground. He stood up.
Ios smirked.
Toshi took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He could feel his surroundings. Everything. The every rock, vine, and life form.
He opened his eyes fully aware of the power that surrounded him. If he had to kill Ios he would. Arunue watched the battle begin again.
Ios punched for Toshi and Toshi ducked then tripped Ios. Ios fell to the ground landing on his head. Maridra stepped in to the fray and then with this Arunue did as well.
Arunue knew she had the power now. Both her arms started to glow from under her red trenchcoat.
A ball of energy formed in both hands and she looked at Maridra. "This could very well be your end witch," Arunue said.
Toshi's attention turned to Arunue. The balls of energy became bigger. Arunue's face became sterner.
Ios watched as the balls of energy turned to beams and flew straight into Maridra. Maridra face became blank as the beams destroyed her atom by atom, each one that was destroyed pained her greatly.
Toshi saw the women become nothing. Non existent. He saw the glow fade from Arunue's arms. Ios saw all this in horror. The end was coming for him as well.

[color=purple]"Heh, I was going to destroy her because she has someone I know captive..." Celestia muttered. "But oh well. Asunan, shall we finish off Ios instead?" She looked towards Asunan, who nodded. Both of them leapt down from a high ledge and into the scene. Asunan reached into a pocket in her cloak and took out a small bow and an arrow, holding the arrow vertically and closing her eyes. While this happened, Ios started to form a fireball in his hands and aimed it at Toshi, but he briefly stared at Arunue, apparently upset that she destroyed his future ally. As the fireball was about to leave Ios's hands, a force took over his mind and froze him in his steps.

"Don't you move," Celestia threatened, keeping her eyes fixed on Ios.
"Don't worry, you two; we can handle this," Asunan reassured, opening her eyes and, with her bow, aiming her arrow at Ios's head. "Now, Celestia!" Asunan commanded telepathically to Celestia. "Distract him!"
Celestia moved to the left, farther from Asunan. She took out her wand, its end glowing with black fire. She kept it pointed at Ios, who was preparing some sort of orb...
"Wait!" Toshi interrupted. "Ummmm... Celestia? Asunan? May I suggest that you should let Arunue kill him instead?"
"She already defeated Maridra," Asunan replied, "so I don't want her doing everything. We didn't get to do anything yet."
"Asunan's right," Celestia added.
"No, it's something about the tattoos..." Toshi interrupted. "Ios cannot be defeated normally... the only way is... The tattoos have a special power that can destroy them, though."
Meanwhile, Izzy stood next to Asunan. "I know what you're planning. I'll help distract him too." As he said this, He took out his sword and ran towards Ios. Ios leapt out of the way. He threw the orb he was holding at Celestia, while Celesita blocked with a blast from her glowing wand...

Suddenly, an energy orb and a beam of dark fire clashed midair. Celestia and Ios focused their mental energies on their attacks, trying to shift them towards each other. The force started to shift towards Celestia momentarily because Celestia broke her concentration slightly to send another telepathic signal to Asunan...
"Now, shoot!"
At that point, Celestia turned back to Ios and grinned menacingly. Ios started to grin back, but at that moment, an arrow shot straight into his head, penetrating his skull quite easily. Ios gave a cry of pain--the ends of the arrow were now emerging from opposite sides of his head. He tried to pull it out, but it was no use... With all his attention diverted to the arrow, Celestia fired the two attacks that were between them back to Ios easily, flinging him against the wall. He appeared to faint...

Celestia and Asunan smiled at each other and performed a certain secret handshake that was supposed to signify victory. They then turned to the rest of the group.
"Um..." Hiroshi muttered, "who are you?" He pointed at the girl next to Celestia.
"Oh, this is my old friend Asunan," Celestia replied. "Last time we met, we were fighting Morak and Helios." Toshi and Izzy nodded; they were the only ones who remembered her. Arunue looked down, grumbled, and shook her head.
"Look, Ios is waking up!" Arunue shouted. Gaitei and Hiroshi stood by her, ready to attack. Arunue held her arms out, revealing the tattoos.
"This is the end for you, Ios," Arunue declared.

Meanwhile...

"Maridra was destroyed..." said the little girl that was held captive. She turned out to be Mereduin, Celestia's little sister. She looked into a crystal on a table, and it showed Arunue attacking Maridra and making her vanish... "Maridra was destroyed..." she repeated. Then she wore a wide grin. "Maridra was destroyed! Yay! Civilization, here I come!" But before she could exit the room, a sinister voice that sounded like Maridra called to her. "You really don't think you can escape yet!" shouted the voice. And with that, the door slammed shut, and Mereduin was trapped inside. She had no choice but to look into the crystal ball on the table, and in it she saw Veil. She was on a beach, sitting down on a rock, wearing a sad expression on her face. She looked behind her, at the nearby hills. "Toshi..." she whispered. "Everybody... where is everybody?" And Mereduin looked on with deep confusion.[/color]

OCC: I thought that Mereduin was Celestia's big sister... ???????

Ios got up after the attack that should have killed him, but it wasn't Ios that the group saw. Izzy saw with some lingering feelings, his brother. And yet it wasn't Rein, through the dust and smoke was another man in Izzy's eyes. He had bright red short hair. Has a light tan, is 7'7" and has a scar starting at above his left eye and extends to the right part of his waist.His blood red eyes that conveyed a sense of loneliness to the one that looks into them. His clothes are not important, but one amazing thing to Izzy, the Celtic common longsword (named Ikulla) sheathed at his left hip. Isisku had always felt some connection to this sword yet didn't know why, now he knew that it must have been something that Riv owned, and yet was now his rival's and the Riv part of Izzy knew that he wouldn't give it up until he knew what it was and what he was. Toshi, Izzy, Arunue, Hiroshi, Celestia, Asunan, and even Mereduin looking at them through the crystal ball were pop eyed. It was Rein to all of them, except Izzy, and Gaitei had no idea what everyone was looking so surprised about. Toshi walked up to him, "Rein?" he asked, "is that you?"

The large man looked at him, "I know that name, but it is not mine, my name is-" he was interrupted "YEIX!" yelled Izzy, "My rival in the top pro swordfighting league! What the hell are you doing here? I have been looking all over for you so we can settle our differences and now it's time!" Izzy drew his sword from it's mahogony sheath, the magical sword that changed from Celtic leafblade to swept-hilt rapier. Izzy had never bothered to name it in his hurried life and it wouldn't help him to name it at this point when Arunue was suddenly in his face saying, "What do you think you're doing?!? This man," she pointed at Yeix, "this man is Rein, your brother in your past life and our friend, what are you thinking drawing a sword against your brother?!?" Izzy lowered his sword, "I didn't know," he said, "that he was my brother before, but he isn't now. I don't know how he could look the same even though he doesn't remember who he was but right now... right now, this man is my rival until we settle the score. I have been second to him for 7 years in the swordfighting championships and I don't intend on having an eighth green ribbon."

Izzy walked away and all was silent, Hiroshi was the first to speak up, "What a way to end a fight"

Uni and Ios [i]both[/i] sat in the remaining bit of their home made in the Void of the old Universe.
"That was a great plot Father thought of, wasn't it Uni?" said Ios, "copy our souls and put them in the bodies of their friends. Me as Rein, you as, OWWW! What was that for!" Just before he finished, Uni whacked his brother on the head, Ios was all bone but it hurt him anyway. "Yes, brother," Uni said, annoyed, "my copy was put into a commoner, I don't know why Father did that to me, I'm the strongest! Even though he is stronger than us we should get some respect!" "You mean 'You' should get some respect. OWWW! What was that for!?!"

Arunue sighed and sat back against a rock. She looked at the tatoos. "These things. What are they," she said.
Toshi shrugged. "I was told that their power might be able to save the old universe," he said. Arunue stood up.
"And who told you this," she asked? Toshi remembered that he had never told them about how he'd met with the Norns.
He explained how he had gone to fight Uni and Ios and had come back with the information from the Norns that within his group was a chosen one who could save the universe if she obtained their enemies power.
But he had been to late and the universe was destroyed. Arunue shook her head in disbelief. "So what you're saying is that I'm the chosen one and these tatoos are my power. And we have to save the universe with them," Arunue said.
Toshi nodded. "But there's still so many questions I have. Why am I the chosen one. How did these tatoos originate," Arunue said frustrated.

"I can answer these questions," said an old man at the edge of the cave entrance. The light blocked out what he looked like but from his eclipsed shadow he appeared to be a hunched over man whering a large robe and holding a great wooden stick.

Arunue's eyes shifted to him. Toshi went for his sword but realized that it was still shattered. He also realized trhat Izzy had left now.
Rayne gripped the handle of his axe just in case this man was a problem.

The old man walked towards the group. The man came into their vision. He had a long tuft on his chin that curled and his robe was green with black stripes.
"My name is Esdad," he said properly introducing himself. Esdad bowed to the group. Arunue pulled the arms of her trenchcoat up to reveal the tatoos upon her arm.
"Answers. Are they all you seek," Esdad said. Toshi looked to Arunue. Did this man want something in turn for the answers to his questions.
"I want to know what the hell these tatoos are," she said. Esdad sat down. He closed his eyes and set his large wooden stick on the ground in front of him.

"These tatoos are a powerful force formed from dead souls. In the old universe they were formed when the first realm known as Trinia was built. Their leader had gone crazy and had began to kill his own people. Arunue, you know who he is," he said.
Arunue clenched her fist. "Shakia," she muttered. The name pained her to say. He had been the one and only enemy of hers.
Esdad nodded. "Shakia who had once been Hodur had been the leader of Trinia and had been corrupted by a mysterious evil. That evil made him kill his people and destroy the once prosperous realm," he said. "You know this much for you've learned this over your quest," Esdad said.

Arunue nodded. "But ou do not know the evil that corrupted Hodur," Esdad said. Arunue perked up. Esdad took a deep breath.

"Uni and Ios are not the strongest enemy that you have," he said. "Their father is the strongest being in all the univers and he created a deadly force that could corrupt anyone. Using the power known as the crow he infected Hodur with a virus and slowly, with Hodur's anger, the infectgion grew into a powerful wing of a crow," Esdad explained.
Toshi's eyes widened. Morak had a wing like that also. But he'd never seen Shakia's. Esdad nodded as if he knew what Toshi was thinking.
"Eventually Hodur became Shakia and Shakia destroyed his people and his realm. With the death of so many came a power beyond conception. The Robe is what that power on your arms is. And it is the power that was created many years ago," Esdad said.

Arunue sighed. "So these tatoos are actually an ancient power made by the deaths of the people of Trinia," Aruneu asked? Esdad nodded.

Toshi remembered the power he had felt when he had worn just one of those tatoos. Esdad sighed. "Having to relive these memories is something I hate doing but if this universe is to be saved than I must relive them," he said.

Toshi looked to Arunue who was looking at him. "But that's not it. If you think Shakia gained the Robe you're most definetly wrong.
You're last enemy. Rail appeared in Trinia and she gained the power. She destroyed all of Trinia. Shakia was not killed but he was sent all the way to The Realm of Reality. As for Rail. She was killed and sent to the Under Realm," Esdad continued.
"And she held onto the power in the Under Realm. When Toshi asked Hiroshi to revive this dead sister Ora, Rail took this opportunity to return to the living world. I'm sorry to tell you this but Ora was coming to the gateway between life and death but she was destroyed by Rail. Rail used the Robe to destroy Ora forever," Esdad said.
Arunue put her hand over her mouth. Toshi dropped to his knees. Hiroshi's eyes were wide open. "It's my fault for her death," Toshi said suddenly.
Esdad looked to Toshi. "No. It is Rail's. Just because you wished to have our sister again does not mean that you are her killer," he said.
Arunue looked at these tatoos. They were more of a destructive force than a helping force. A tear rolled down her cheek.
"So what do Uni and Ios's father plan to do now," Gaitei said out of the blue. Kieko had been listening to all of this. So many things had been revealed.

"Uni and Ios's father's name is Hawk. He plans to destroy this universe again but permanatly. And he is close to figuring out. Toshi. You visited the place where the universes soul is. Yggradisil," Esdad said. "Where the Norns where," he said.

Toshi's eyes became wide. "If Hawk finds out about Yggradisil and destroys it than this universe and everything in it will never exist. They will be nothing and they will never return," he said. "Hawk is a being who does not exst himself yet he is phyiclly here. You may find it hard to destroy him," Esdad said.

Esdad stood. "Now I must leave. I am glad to have helped you but now my time is gone," Esdad said.
Toshi held out his hand. "Wait. Who are y--," Toshi was cut off by Esdad dissapearing. They had learned soi much today.

Arunue sighed and slamed her head on a rock sarcastically. All she wanted to do was get some sleep and clear out her head. But of course no one was gunna let her. Every one was silent for what seemed like hours before arunue finally spoke up. "And now were back to where we were before. We have a bit more information, but still, we have no leads on how to get to Hawk." The silence afterwards prooved no one had anything to say. Arunue sighed and leaned up against her brother. "And yet again...." she said slowly and tiredly "What do we do now?"

OCC- That last post nearly killed me. Anyhoo, dont be gone a whole lot okay Arunue. The story wont work without you.

Toshi shook his head at Arunue. "Let's get some sleep before we act," he said. That night was the longest night Toshi had ever had.
The truth had finally come forth. And it felt great. Toshi smiled as he lay on his back staring at the ceiling of the cave. "We'll win," he said.

Meanwhile...
Uni and Ios bowed to their father. Nothng stood before them but darkness. A red eye appeared out of nowhere.
Then another. A dark outline of a figure appeared. "Where is the Robe," Hawk asked? Uni looked to Ios realizing they had lost the one thing they needed more than anything to defeat their enemies. Hawk darkness formed into a being.
Hawk's face was hidden under a black hood. He was average sized pre-teenager looking. His robe covered all his body except for three claws that were held at his side.
"You will regain the Robe or cease to exist," Hawk said.

Both the brothers stood there, confident of their jobs success. As the two left Hawk dissapeared into the darkness.
"I need that power or I will never be able to make it to Yggradisil," he said.

OOC- I know, i know...im just saying that im not gunna be posting often...OH! and Poenix wont be posting for two weeks, hes on vacation. I have his aim SN so i'll keep bugging him to catch up when he gets back.


IC- Arunue sighed and layed back. She looked over to Toshi, collecting the peices of his newly shattered sword. "Didn't I break that once already?" she asked, remebering when she broke his sword in half a long time ago. She didn't have the sword she used to break Toshi's anymore. "Yeah," Toshi said, remebering, "I think you did." Arunue grinned and closed her eyes, rummaging in her pocket for her ciggerets. She took one out and lit it up. She put her last one back in her pocket. She sat up and took a long drag on it. She leaned her head back and blew a smoke ring.
Gaitei watched her intently. The smoke that was slightly floating around didn't bother him, he barely noticed it. He kept wondering about why she had kissed him. In reality, she was just trying to make him happy and calm. Too bad he didn't realize that.
Arunue puffed on her ciggeret some more and watched it burn. When it finnally got too low, she took it out of her mouth and bummed it off of her brothers forehead.[AKA: she put it out using his forehead] "AAH! what the hell?!?!" Hiroshi yelled in pain, rubbing the burnt spot on his forhead. There were a few laughs at Hiroshi's inconvinient pain.

Gaitei gave an awkward smile at Arunue and Hiroshi's 'friendly aggression' with each other. Of course it was fun to watch other people's pain, but seeing Arunue laugh was even better. That was strange, because gaitei had never been one to laugh unless he was seeing someone else's misfortune.

He briefly turned his luminous eyes towards the other side of the cave, looking around at all the others. All this talk about Arunue being the 'chosen one'... that had to be some kind of sign, right? He wondered what Garren had been like- what had drawn him and Arunue together? If he could have known that... well, maybe he would be a little less depressed now.

He dozed off for a few minutes, his thoughts remaining on teh mystery of his past life. He dreamt then- dreamt about what Garren had been like. Little glimpses- that's all he got. Tiny peeks into his past and what Garren did. It was difficult to think of himself and Garren as the same person. That was why Arunue didn't like him.

One memory seemed to assert itself, in Gaitei's unconscious state. Him- no, Garren- and Arunue, together. He couldn't tell where they were. Garren spoke, hardly over a whisper, "...You're the only one for me... my Arunue..." was all Gaitei could hear.

Outside his head, his body spoke the words on instinct, in almost the exact tone. They were quiet, but Arunue heard... and was rather surprised.

OOC: By the way, what the hell happened to me in those last few posts? I disappeared... ah well.

Toshi awoke the next morning. The mist in this forested mountain was very thick. He looked over at Arunue who was still asleep.
Last night the two of them had collected all the peices to his sword. They were in a bottle now. If only Symoni were here.
She could restore the sword. Rayne was already awake. He stepped past Toshi. "Morning," he said. Rayne picked up his axe.
"Where are you going," Toshi asked? Rayne turned his head.
"We've been in this cave for long enough. I need to get out. So I'm going to go train in the forests for awhile. You want to come," Rayne asked?
Toshi stood up. "Sure. Maybe we can spar together. Just go easy. I don't have my sword on me," Toshi said.

[COLOR=SeaGreen][SIZE=2][FONT=Book Antiqua]Arunue took a deep breath as she opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her brother, still asleep. She sat up and sat next to hiroshi. She put her hand on his shoulder and rubbed it gently. She was glad he was there for her. She fiddled with a little peice of his hair with her forefinger and middlefinger. His hair was suprisingly soft and clean, even though none of them had showered for quite a while.
[I]Maybe theres a hot spring somewhere on this mountain. Couldn't hurt to check![/I] she thought to herself as she got up and walked out of cave. She walked along the side of the mountain for only a few minutes before spotting a nice sized spring. She smiled. [I]How did I know? Hmm? Aahahah. I'm always right...[/I] she thought.
Arunue dipped her hand into the water to check the temperature, but immediatly drew it out and shook it dry. "FUCK, thats hot!!!" She yelled, followed by a slight giggle as stuck her hand in the water again, getting used to the heat. She started to undress herself. She pushed her clothes away from the water and slid in, smiling at the warmth. She held her breath and ducked her head under the water, wetting her hair.
After a few minutes, Arunue heard some voices. She lowered herself in the water a bit. Toshi and Rayne apeared from the mist. "GAAH!" Toshi yelled. Arunue scowled and grabed the closest rock and chuged it at Toshis head. It connected and he fell to the ground. Rayne laughed and picked toshi up, dragging him back to wherever they were before. "Guess we'll have to find somewhere else to spar." Rayne said.
Arunue scowled and blew bubbles in the water.
After an hour, she peered into the cave, her hair still wet. "Hey 'Runue." Hiroshi said, smiling. "Wheres Toshi and Rayne?" she asked. Hiroshi shook his head. "Not here," he said, "I think they went to spar." Arunue sighed and sat down. "I'll just have to wait for them," she said, annoyed. Hiroshi poked at her. "Why's your hair wet?" he asked. Arunue smiled at him. "There's a hot spring a little ways to the left of the cave," she told him, "Why dont you go take a dip?" Hiroshi grinned. "Why not?" he said as he got up and walked out of the cave. Arunue sat back and waited to see how big of a bump Toshi had on his head.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Toshi rubbed his head as he walked with Rayne. That one split second was bliss. He chuckles and continued to walk.
Rayne found a suitable open area. "Here we go," he said. Toshi immeadiatly got into a fighting stance.
Rayne laughed. "Ready to fight already eh," he said.
"Well. Let's just say I'm in a pretty good mood," Toshi said. Rayne held his axe out before himself. "Well then. Let's get going," he said. Toshi didn't wait for Rayne. He immeadiatly launched himself off of the ground. His foot slipped however. Toshi fell and landed on his face. Rayne stood before Toshi laughing heartily.

Toshi's face was covered in mud. He stood up with a large chunk of mud in his hand and toosed it at Rayne.
The mud nearly hit but it landed upon Rayne's sword. "And you think that was supposed to hurt," Rayne said shifting his eyes from the large mud glob on his axe to Toshi.

"Meh. Nevermind sparring right now. I'm so hungry I can't concentrate," Toshi said. Rayne looked around for some food.
They found quite a bit. Rayne even found an average sized hog. He held the bloody, wet, pig on his back.
Toshi helped by holding his axe. They reached the cave. Toshi rubbed the bump on his head again as he walked in.
Arunue's gaze instantly switched to Toshi. He made a small smile as he walked in.

IC- Arunue scowled at him. "Did you take a good look?" Arunue asked him, scowling. Toshi laughed. "Sure did!" he exlaimed. Arunue stood up and punched him in the side of the face. He fell to the ground yet again. "Pervert," she said, stepping over him and sitting on the other side of the cave.
Toshi rubbed the side of his face, muttering to himself. Arunue slapped him uside the head again. "What was that for!?!?!" he yelled. Arunue smiled. "I felt like it." she said calmly.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Rayne looked out at the sky. It was going to be a cloudy day. Toshi rubbed his head. He smiled with his eyes closed. "Well. I guess it was worth the pain," he said.
Arunue growled. Toshi backed up a bit from her. "But if this keeps up, it may not be at all," he said. Rayne lit a fire and started to cut the hog up.
He smiled as the two of them flirted around a bit. Gaitei watched this too. Somewhat jealous but at the same time realizing what it would be like to be with Arunue.

Kieko walked over to Rayne. "How's the food," sher questioned. Rayne looked at the cooking hog meat.
"Cooking just great," he said.

She opened her eyes and it disapeared. She sighed and looked around. Rayne was cooking the meat and Toshi was eyeing it, looking quite hungry. Hiroshi was sitting on a rock, leaning back with his hands behind his head. Gaitei was by himself, looking at nothing in perticular. She couldn't see anyone else. She wondered where Kieko was. "'Runue?" Hiroshi said, breaking her from her thought. "Y-yes, Hiro?" she asked. Hiroshi smiled and sat beside her. "You're such a sweet girl," he said, putting his arm around her. She smiled and shook her head, watching Rayne continue to cook.

OCC- Maybe it's time for a twist.

IC-

Toshi ate the delicious hog leg. Cooked to perfection. He looked over at Celestia who had been sort of quiet lately ever since she had been reuinited with Merudian.
Who was this Maridra? Someone who had a lage frudge against Celestia and her group. And now him and his friends.
Arunue sat next to Hiroshi talking. Siblings. Toshi took another bite of the hog. He missed his own sister Ora. He would never see her again.
He looked over at Rayne. Although they were sworn brothers, Toshi didn't have alot of knowledge about Rayne's mysterious background.
Izzy. The reincarnated mentor of Toshi's. Now it seemed like he was the mentor. Gaitei was the reincarnated lover of Arunue: Garren.
Kieko. She was always so quiet yet on the inside she had such a good personality.

Toshi downed the last piece of hog and stood up. Arunue watched Toshi head for the entrance to the cave.
"Where are you going," she asked?
Toshi smiled and turned his head. "To find Veil," he said. Arunue stopped biting her food. Of strip of the hog hung out of her mouth.
Hiroshi watched Toshi leave as did everyone else. Veil. Toshi's true love. Celestia has said she was on a beach near this mountain.
Toshi jumped out of the mouth of the cave. "I'll be back guys," he said.

Izzy walked slowly out of the cave as well, Arunue inquired what he was doing as well. "I'm gonna go with him. From what you tell me and what I remember, Riv was pretty strong, that must mean that I am too, even though Yeix has my sword... YEIX!!" Arunue realized it as well, "Where'd he get off to," then she calmed down, "oh well, I guess you'll find him sooner or later." Izzy smiled, "If my luck prevails, it will be sooner." So saying, he gathered his sword and left.

Toshi was just a few steps outside the cave when Izzy came out, "Let's go, old friend," said Toshi. Izzy was a little confused "Why did you call me that?" he asked. Toshi smiled and turned to face him, "Riv and I were good friends, there's no reason that I can't treat you like I treated Riv so long ago."

The two left, descending the steep, rocky surface of the mountain, and after a few minutes the beach that Celestia spoke of came into sight and Toshi immediately took flight towards it, leaving Izzy to walk in the gathering winds. [i]Where are you[/i] he thought, [i]I know you're here, come out of your hiding place even though I can slightly sense you I can still sense you[/i].

As soon as Izzy said that, Toshi was almost out of sight, and a large figure came flying at Izzy, sword drawn to settle the score.

OOC: Sorry about the delay... I've been busy the past few days...

[color=purple]Veil sat on a rock on the beach for a while, facing the sea. The sun was high up in the sky, and the sea seemed to glitter. Veil seemed in a trance, lonely yet slightly calm. Suddenly, she heard what sounded like Toshi's voice; he was yelling to someone.
"Toshi?" Veil whispered to herself. "Could it be?" She then got up and walked towards the hills, almost sure of what she heard.

"Come on, Izzy! Can't you keep up?" Toshi shouted playfully, turning to Izzy, who was about half a mile behind him. He then turned and headed for the hills, and he saw a girl running in his direction. Suddenly, the girl seemed to spot him, and then she ran faster. Toshi recongized her as Veil, and he ran faster towards her as well. Toshi accidentally knocked her over, but the grass underneath was nice and soft.
"You're back, Veil!" Toshi cheered as he lay down next to Veil. "I've missed you so much!!"
"So did I!" Veil said in an excited tone. "I thought I'd be lonely forever!" The two laughed and chatted for a while, until Izzy caught up and joined them.

Meanwhile, back at the cave, Celestia sat alone, though she knew where everyone was. She smiled when she sensed that Veil and Toshi were together again.
"I'm back!" Asunan declared as she returned. She had gone out to check on the city; another mini-war had broken out there, and it was caused by an unknown evil force.
"Thinking about Toshi and Veil, are you?" she laughed. "Yeah, they do seem happy... Anyways, while I was in the city, some evil force caused a major fight... I'm guessing it was Maridra again."
"Huh," Celestia wondered. "Yes, I feel that way too... even though she was destroyed, she seems to still... be here... Anyways, don't you think we should find Mereduin soon? I think she's getting worried, though she can see us through Maridra's crystal ball..."
"Yeah," Asunan replied, "I think seeing your friends is nothing compared to being with them. Oh, and did you hear? Hawk's trying to snatch the Robe... and when he gets to..."
"Yeah, I know," Celestia interrupted. "Anyways, we will succeed, don't worry. We'll do it together, with the rest of the group. Anyways, shall we check on the others, even though we know what they're doing? Being with people is always better than seeing them, right?" She winked at Asunan, and they both walked towards another part of the cave, where Arunue, Gaitei, Hiroshi, and Rayne sat, eating and talking. As they entered, Arunue noticed them and gave them a weird look. Celestia and Asunan looked at each other and began to leave them alone--apparently they were talking about personal business.

Celestia and Asunan walked deeper into the cave, into a large chamber, where they found a little circle of boulders. They both sat down, nodded to each other, and started to meditate.. this now became a part of their daily rituals.

Meanwhile, Mereduin was looking into Maridra's crystal ball again when a raven flew in the door and perched on top of the ball, staring at Mereduin with bright red eyes. Mereduin stared back, but within moments, she was fully paralyzed and fell over as if she were just a corpse... The dark purplish raven cackled softly, flew up, and disappeared into the shadows.[/color]
