Where you're from and what you do

I live in West Michigan (lower peninsula), where the majority of people are strange mixes of redneck. ^^; I like it here though; the weather is nice (most of the time) and we have beautiful forests/wildlife.
I'll be a high school sophomore this year. I'm most likely going to study some form of art or graphic design in the future. I love music-I'll be in my 4th year of choir. I want to learn piano, but we probably can't afford lessons, and our piano is so out of tune it's painful to listen to. Of course I love anime and video games, which most of my family considers "stupid" (to put it bluntly). I also love writing poetry and short stories. If I get my hands on a good book, I'll read for hours. I don't have a job yet (and I haven't taken driver's training), but I'll babysit if I can. Oh yeah! I'm also taking French. ^_^ I get to take a trip to Paris and Madrid (Spain) next year!!
Oh, the place you're most likely to find me on OB is random. I like a good RPG when I can find one, but most of the time I'm just hanging around...
And I love Alice in Wonderland. ^^;

[I] I live in the boring village of Posen,Illinois. Its just a couple of miles away from Chicago.I'm a 13 year old smart *** girl. There's not much to do here. Is boring as I said.
Well what I normally do is go over to my friend's house and play games with them on the PS2.Then I have to go in for my guitar lesson.Tons of homework.Endless hours on the internet. Then watching my favorite anime shows, reading manga's,drawing, writing, and what not.So as you see Posen is the worst place to live in.
I sometimes feel like the upperclassmen hate us.
Don't worry, enchanteres, they don't hate you. Last year all my friends had moved away, and I made all new friends who were all (fanfare) Juniors and seniors! So don't worry, they are really cool. Some of them just get ahead of themselves and think that they hafta be all harsh to the underclassmen. :D

I'm a junior from Mansfield, CT, and I am 17. Right now I am currently dealing with the initial onslaught of schoolwork that the teachers seem to sadistically love. Other than that, I love to play the cello, and have been for many many moons. I also love to play tennis, and do that as much as possible.

Friends are also awesome, and we enjoy night-time games of CTF as much as possible.

I haven't really been on the boards in a while, but am trying to get back in, and just post on these opinion ones so as to meet some new people hopefully

My turn! I'm a 15 year old girl from The Netherlands. I live in Venlo, or sometimes better known as 'Little Chicago'.
My birthday is the 29th November, which means I'm a Sagittarius. I'm born in the year of the Dragon ^_^

I'm in High School and have 'studied' ancient Latin and Greek for 2 years. I also participated in the 'Anglia Project', which is a project to improve your English. When you pass the exam (I did!) you will be given a certificate, with which you can go to a university in England (and other English speaking countries) when you've finished High School.

I can play the piano, but I haven't got any grades yet...probably because I'm a bit lazy *whistles* and I can also play the flute. One of my biggest interests is the 'Lord of the Rings'. But I also like other fantasy stuff like Harry Potter.
Other interests are anime&manga (otherwise I wouldn't sit here writing this reply on OtakuBoards ^_^ ), silly cartoons (watching AND drawing them), drawing, writing and some other stuff which isn't really interesting.

I'm not doing anything sporty at the moment, but I have played tennis and basketball. I've also been a member of an AthleticsGroup, only the trainer was really bad so I stopped with that very quick. Now I'm waiting on a response from an ArcheryGroup. I've done archery when I was on a school trip and the lady that was organising everthing said that I had talent, soo...we'll see!

People often say that my English is really good for someone from 'Holland'. If you see any mistakes in my writing, please tell me! And when you speak to me (in English that is) you'll notice that I've got a British accent, which is kind of weird, because both my parents are born and raised in Holland.

That's about it I guess. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask ^_^

Hello, everyone. My name is Lincoln Crisler...I've known about OtakuBoards for a bit (I'm married to Chibi_horsewoman, so I've seen the site before) and I've finally decided to set up an account.

I'm 22 years old, and I hail from Rochester NY. Right now, I am valiantly protecting our nation's foreign oil rights as a soldier in the First Cavalry Division in Iraq. My patriotic duties include watching anime, reading comics, watching movies, surfing the net and practicing on my electric bass. War is boring.

I'm released in June '05, and then I plan on being a cop. Much better money, and at least if I get shot, chances are it's by an American!

Favorite animes: Vandread, Saiyuki and Karekano.
Favorite manga: currently reading Model and Battle Angel Alita

Peace Sex and Welfare Checks!
I sometimes feel like the upperclassmen hate us.
To take a quote by Kikyo in the First InuYasha movie: I hate everything and everyone.

But hey, everyone was a freshman once...except the kids who either just started 9th grade or aren't yet in 9th grade. The ones who failed 9th grade have been freshmen twice.

Anyways, I'm still Chibi Horsewoman and I'm stil pregnant and having a girl in a few weeks (11 days to be exact) But oh yeah, I'm married to lcrisler. This one is a real marriage unlike my OB estranged husband. Funny thing is my real husband is in the army and my Ob husband is in the airforce. I think I must have a thing for men in uniform, which really isn't a good idea because military family life is pretty hard on a person.

I can't wait to have my first pregnancy over with because that'll mean I have a chance to see what my daughter looks like. I plan on restarting my riding lessons by November so wish me luck. and well, I'm sorry I'm still not that interesting. Unless you count that my brother is a bit of a klepto. He tends to borrow without asking. I mean you could call it stealing, except he brings things back when he's done with whatever he took, like oh, my car. Or one of my X box games. Just not money, which sucks because I need money and I hate having to use my debit card all teh time and balance my checkbook.

But hey I love him anyway.

Guest Midnight Rush
I am 5'11", green eyed/black haired, and athletic. I play piano....like everyone else it seems... I obsessively read novels about Scottish sailors and their exploits. I am Scottish, by the way, but I live in a little backwoods town in pennsylvania. I am finishing up highschool, and then I will be moving on the Pitt and finally Penn for my MBA.

I am (eerr.. will be in about 3 years) a business major with dual focus on corporate negotiations and global marketing... and I dream of being Division head of Coca Cola's East Asian Division, anbd then moving to CEO of Coca Cola someday...

I am single, at the moment. I won't bore you, but the girl who would be me gf lives in Tokyo, and no one (Near me that is) I know interests me in the slightest bit. 10k+ mile relationships just dont work out unfortunately :(

I love Volleyball, basketball, weightlifting, golf, tether ball, running, trampolines, raquet ball, football, and anything else active. Most of all I love my OAKLAND RAIDERS!!

Me in six words:

Sexy Scottish Business student raiders fan.

Hmmm...... Well my name is Jessica, a very common name. I probably know a gazillion Jessicas by now (and yes that is a number). I live in Idaho home of potatoes, potatoes, potatoes, potatoes, Mormons, and more potatoes. Hell, we even had a celebration for potatoes on Saturday called Spud Day.

Right now I'm a senior in high school, and I'm ready to go to college anywhere but Idaho. (For the most part our colleges suck, and so does our education system.) I want to become a veterinarian, so lots of schoolwork. Yeah, I volunteered at our local zoo a couple of summers and loved it.

I'm not single, sorry to all those boys out there who know they want me. lol. I've been going out with my boyfriend for a little over seven months, and I love hanging out with him.

As far as my interests go, I love to go snowboarding, kayaking, whitewater rafting, backpacking and anything out doors like. (This is probably the only reason I like living in Idaho.)

Yep and that about concludes my life in 200 words or less. :wigout:

Depending on if your from some far off place in Asia, you'd call me Rubi Lei C. Or if your anywhere else Rodrica, or Roddy for short.

Current location is Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Out side of the fields of science research, a fairly boring place really. However, I find it a good place for photography because of the environment. (Both natural and man-made.)

Current occupations are: Student, graphic apprentice, teacher, tutor, Martial Artist, and freelance artist.

Also any annoying petty meaningless things I may happen to find that some one is hiring for.

After high school my plan, at the moment, is to go to Shanghai University. (Science and Engineering)

Once out of collage, I plan to stay there. (Helping out family and relatives) My life after collage, I'll still probably be doing some of the same occupations. I'm hoping I'll be able to teach full time, either in Martial Arts or education in general.

And if possible for me, I plan to adopt a child or have one of my own. So that weaves in greatly, now, getting a higher education then most. So I can pay my way through collage my-self. Yet still be able to support a family of my own.

My only current hobbies have, pretty much, gone away. Besides, computers, graphic design, reading, writing, Martial Arts, teaching, and studying.

On OB you can find me in the "Art Studio" or all selections of "The Arena."

My life at a small glance.

Am 1 really going to be the first? Anyway, cheers from
St. Petersburg, Russia. ^^
Currently hanging out @ The Lounge,
Recoverin' my PC bit-by-bit from the main 200 GB un-back'd-up HDD crash
Mourning about this existence being a total nonsense,
Looking forward to the 69 Eyes concerto at 2.10 right there at us,
Umm, typing this. Living. Playing my 'lec guitar.
Getting Chobits scans as a part from the recovering-my-HDD story. Currently downloading vol 03. Chobits aren't licensed in Russia, and probably won't ever be. (So it's even kind of legal).
Also looking forward for the server where I use to get english GANTZ scans to be alive again.
Translating GANTZ into russian as a part of the russian Mangaproject team.
Not knowing what am I doing here (that was the main one, I guess.)

I'm from the Dirty South, USA. Actually, I'm just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I'd call myself a normal girl, though my friends wouldn't. I'm still in highschool, but I Paint a lot of things for charity. Right now, I just have the normal teenage job. I'd love to have some type of career in the arts. Like theater, music or painting. I can almost sort of play the piano, but not well. I just love the music and admire those who can play it.

It may be hot down here, but I wouldn't live anywhere else.Yep, I'm a redneck. :)

Okay, it's been 2 and a half years since I signed up at OB, figure I'll finally admit what my real name is *bangs head on table for agreeing to this*. My name's Alex but some of my friends I met in high school know me as Alie (pronounced ally). I'm from the Big Easy, New Orleans, and I wouldn't live any place else. Right now, though, I'm living in a little town in north Louisiana called Ruston where I'm currently a freshman at Louisiana Tech University (Go Bulldogs).

I'm majoring in pre-veterenary medicine and minoring in art. I love animals and I worked at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans (one of the top five zoos in the country) for five years (1999-2004). Well that's it for me.
